sometimes I forget just how homophonic the world can be. I was at a race for cross country and was literally wearing socks with the progress flag on them. And then this one kid starts asking these two girls if they’re lesbian because they were stretching together. Not in a genuine wondering way in the “ooooooo r u a LESBIAN????” Way and they were all like “no no no im not a lesbian” like it would be the worst thing in the world. And then the guy just continuously made homophobic jokes and I didn’t say anything a I really wish I had.
