it's been eight whole years since the lumineers came out with their song cleopatra and the lyrics "i would marry you in an instant. damn your wife, i'd be your mistress just to have you around." is still THE most heartbreaking, breathtaking, earth-shattering line of poetry to ever be written.

Have I heard this album before today?

Partially

Really enjoyed this one! The Lumineers feel like a breath of fresh air, in the most literal sense. Something about their music reminds me of having the windows open when it starts to warm up, or taking a road trip with the windows down. It's such a nice feeling. So glad I found a few more songs of theirs that I hadn't heard before that I really enjoy!
