This is one of my favorite clewis moments. They've been best friends for years, and Lewis has loved Cleo for forever, since before the start of the series. Mermaid or not. And that's what Charlotte fails to understand. He doesn't care so much about Cleo (or the others) because she's a mermaid. He loves her for who she is. Even if Charlotte had been successful in taking the girls' powers away, Lewis still would've chosen Cleo.

biography

Calypso was born ten minutes after Finn, and he has never let it down. Growing up, she always relied on Finn for everything. From walking to the school bus to paying for her items at the corner store, he was always there for her and she didn’t mind. His voice was hers with her hand grasping for his and following in little steps close behind. It wasn’t until middle school where she found her voice, a stern attitude at that. A young girl was getting bullied and she stepped in. Little did she know that that girl, Emilie, ended up becoming her best friend. Even then, she struggled: fighting with generational demons gifted by her alcoholic parents and grappling with the fact that her mother berated her to the point of self mutilation. Her appetite to survive and preservation in thriving ran deep. Every chance she got, she would hang out with her parent’s best friend’s kids. She become close friends with their two kids. Soon, she found herself dragging Finn to the Shepard’s every weekend, and they didn’t seem to mind as they welcomed them with open arms. Little did they know, she was using them to avoid her mother up until she entered college. As she entered her junior year in college, her best friend got cancered and didn't survive. A year later, the outbreak happened. Finn and she found their parents already turned when they got home after protecting the apartments, resulting in having to end them herself. Because of her actions, Cleo became gravely ill, leaving the twins to stay stationed in the confides of their home until another solution appeared before them: finding sanctuary within their limits, San Francisco, California.

Cleo will punch you in the face if you use her real name. Certain people are able to use it. The only reason people know her real name is because Finn accidentally said it during a fight and she didn’t talk to him for a whole month. Granted, it was hard for her. She just doesn’t know how to talk about her feelings, so she takes a lot of time to sort out how she’s really feelings. She doesn’t trust people easily, but she trusts action so if she sees you attempting to do what you say, she will crack the door open to communicate. When someone breaks down her walls, she is a completely different person, she can actually hold a conversation, or be considerate and think of the needs of others before herself. She is information seeking, all the time, because she feels knowing more makes you a better person, which is all she wants to be at the end of the day.

i screencapped pipp ( and semi misty ) in a couple episodes the other night so that i have new icons and such. and i've kind of latched on to pipp as a comfort muse recently so like this post for a very-small starter from her. multis please specify who you want! and i have a human/modern pegasus disguised human verse for anyone who doesn't want like. mlp mlp. she's an heiress, her mom owns a major production company. pipp is a young adult influencer, pop star, and salon owner. So I've been thinking about this ever since Gem posted the colors and hearts and honestly I will be very curious to see if she ends up in Traffic Season 5 and more importantly how she plays... I remember she talked about how she thought it would be super stressful to be in "improv brain" all the time, and I get that and I hope she has fun.

Martyn's also talked about how he tries to go out of his way to set traps or go for flashy kills instead of PVP, saying that he considers himself on the upper end of PVP skills, but he feels like the traps and the flair are more unique for the Life series and he wants to create something that's interesting and flashy to watch (and/or give others more of a fighting chance against him).

I'm not sure if the other creators make an effort to prefer traps - I just know they scaled back OP arrows and enchantments after 3rd Life - but since Gem's set up as someone with a powerful PVP reputation, I'm interested to see if she sticks to what she knows or if she experiments with traps... and how that might impact potential alliances.

Do you dare base with a powerful person who doesn't have the years of established social protocol, and therefore might whip out the skills and slay you for the bit??

I remember her putting in the grind to get diamonds when she was possessing Cleo, and Bdubs seemed a little surprised that she would spend her screen time on that (or at least that was my interpretation)... Is Gem super competitive and will she stock up on trap materials, putting in the grind for resources?? Will she successfully get stuff or will she be pressed for time?

I've seen her in SMPs where you can take your time with the grind and you enjoy plentiful resources, but in the Life series, everything from time to resources to space is super limited. Gotta wow the crowd so spending episodes mining would be risky. What will she do?? idk but this will be interesting

Cleo leans her back against an alley wall, her latest target lying with most of their body in the shadows. Their limbs are twitching with the last remnants of energy in their nervous system as she keeps the sharp heel of her shoe embedded in their forehead.

She casually lights a cigarette after pulling out her case and opening it up, and after looking back up she spots someone not too far off, watching her.

"Move along," she says, not quite calling out, but loud enough that she can be heard. Her voice is deep and silky smooth on the ears. "Nothing to see here."

Despite her words, she doesn't sound too insistent. If whoever this is decided to stick around or inquire further, she might not mind it.

Playin' Jane

Quietly, without any false fuss, Jane Asher, actress, has arrived. After fifteen years of exits and entrances, Jane has become accepted as an actress. Not as just another pretty young girl to grace a TV screen, but as an actress capable of bringing the screen to life . . . doing a job that no one else could do quite so well.

This is Jane Asher's year. We salute her.

THERE is something very touching and vulnerable about Jane Asher that endears her to the armchair playgoers. She's like a daisy planted among roses. Fresh, delicate and unpretentious.

She may be in The Saint, Love Story or in any old kitchen sink drama on TV, but the moment she appears, there is something happening on the screen. She doesn't throw her limbs into theatrical poses or shrill out her lines. There is a quiet strength in her performances that makes them far more memorable than hammy histrionics.

She has been acting since she was five years old, and she has learned her craft the hard way, in fifteen years of repertory, radio and TV roles.

Jane Asher has the look most big girls envy. Small-boned and fragile-looking she appears just as feminine in over-sized sweaters and sloppy jeans as some poor girl who has spent hours dolling herself up.

She has a pale, elfin face, dominated by deep-set blue eyes, rather serious and a little sad. There is a lot happening behind them. Her long hair looks like great flames leaping about her face.

She desperately wants to play Joan Of Arc.

It was her hair which brought Jane, at five, into the acting profession. She was playing in the park one day with her mother, her younger sister Clare, and her big brother Peter. They all had bright red hair. Someone passing by said they ought to be in pictures or something.

The idea appealed to Jane. Soon she was cast as the deaf mute in Mandy. She was Alice. She was Wendy in Peter Pan. And she was Juliet in a children's TV version of Romeo and Juliet.

They were all roles that called for a pretty face, a limited range of expressions, and no particular acting ability. But Jane was attracting the notice of people who had plays to offer her that would really put her talent to the test.

THE supreme test came this year, when Jane played the lead in a new play called Cleo for the Bristol Old Vic Company.

She held the stage for two-and-a-half hours playing a mixed-up teenager with a sensitivity unusual in a girl of twenty.

Jane took a dozen curtain calls on the first night. People pushed into her dressing-room to shake her hand, and tell her how much they had enjoyed seeing a star born.

The star sat on the floor in her shaggy sweater and kneed blue jeans, and calmly drank champagne from a cracked mug.

JANE is uncompromisingly down-to-earth and sensible. She can cut through hours of fancy discussion with one simple scentence of logic. It's her ability to seperate the real from the superficial that makes her a good actress.

She recently appeared in BBC-2's classic Brothers Karamazov. At the moment, she is appearing with Laurence Harvey, Moira Redmond and Diana Churchill in Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale, at the Cambridge Theatre, London.

The play has been selected for study in C.C.E. "A" Level examination next January. Jane hopes that lots of young people will see the play, to prepare themselves.

When this production closes - it's the one she appeared in at the Edinburgh Festival - Jane moves into a Broadway play.

As we said, Jane Asher, actress, has arrived.
