Hey guys! Like Brainy said I’m also working on this au with them, we’ve been brainstorming lots of ideas for these guys and now we think it’s the time to do so. We have other characters (mainly the adults) we plan on introducing including some other stuff but for now this is just a jist.

It is time I introduce to Tumblr an AU I've been working on with @zimloaf 🙏😈

the AU is pretty simple, it's an au where all the kids from Gumball's class join him in a roleplay about superheroes (and supervillains.)

we already have a few roles, like the comeback of Laserheart and The smooch

(don't mind me having zero references aside doodles)

But we also have others! Like The paladin of Love and her cousin, bloom bomb (Penny and Leslie)

Or our evil supervillains Heartbreaker and Pokerface!

Or others, like our kind civilian Carmen, who keeps trying to help with charities and such or other like "The Terminator" or bobert, for short.

And more, but that is for zim to say since he's the one who worked on the other's designs.

Each one of them has a hero/villain backstory that might match with others or not.

For example:

Buttt, yeah we can go in depth later. This is merely an introduction.

We've got a LOT with this for a silly roleplay au.

Also disclaimer: their human designs will vary depending if it's from me or Zim, since we both have two different versions of them.

man this was so fun!! i loved getting to hang out and joke around with everybody. also somebody (i think it was h0dge-p0dge?) suggested we all play Gartic Phone together which i am SO on board with-

nobody's fault! i'm just a bit burnt out and also i'm gonna be pretty swamped for the next few weeks/months. prom is next saturday, the musical i'm gonna be doing spotlights for is starting the week after that, and both my birthday AND graduation will be happening in May. in other words, pray for me 💀

if anyone else wants to take a turn organizing another event like this, go right on ahead! i think its so wonderful that we have this little community on here and getting to see everybody having fun together warms my cold, gamer heart. so go have fun and keep being kind to each other.

I got this idea yesterday and then drew some artwork for it lol, context under the pieces

Basically its a "what if Elmore junior high was one of those fancy strict schools because Simian replaced Principal Brown in The Fraud" I wanted to give a similar vibe to how the students were treated in the lesson but mix it with the initial part of The Joy. The AU is designed to work with both the show canon and a human au, which is why I drew my human designs in the uniforms! idk if I'll keep the design but these are the base ones for now

-It starts out like the Principals but instead of Gumball and Darwin becoming the new principals it’s Simian, and she rules the school like a cruel headmaster

-Elmore junior high is transferred into a strict school with uniforms, Gumball and Darwin can’t go on their usual misadventures due to the strict rules

-Mr. Small now has to teach Simian’s class. He’s not the best teacher and due to the new rules he has to be strict (he’s bad at it)

-A few students were appointed by Simian to report rulebreakers.

-The current students appointed are Alan (who was given a role in power in exchange that he’s good at catching rulebreakers) this has caused him to shift into his personality in the vision. He tends to give others a chance before reporting them to Simian. He also clashes with Simian sometimes due to the fact she likes to force her students to be miserable and he wants to force them to be happy.

-Another student is William. He’s not correcting people like Alan and watches from the shadows. He’s less lenient than Alan and can only rarely be convinced not to snitch. He’s technically the head of the group due to Simian's favoritism but Alan is typically presumed to be instead

-Carmen is another member but only to be with Alan. She was able to get away with it due to her complex but usually lets off people she catches.

-Gumball and Darwin are currently trying to find evidence to get Simian fired and Brown back in the role. After Simian became the principal and was given a role of such power she became more toxic to Brown and doesn’t tolerate him trying to get his role back

-The detention gang has all been expelled except for Julius, who serves to convey messages to them

-Anais, Jamie, and Bobert managed to hack into the security cameras and are trying to find a way to loosen the security

-Tina, Ocho, and Jamie have been close to being expelled alongside the detention gang, but Simian’s goal is to keep all her students enrolled and as miserable as possible

-Joe, Clayton, and Tobias have had to snap out of their personas and keep their behavior toned down. Joe is especially bad at this, Clayton gets away with it the most, and Tobias attempts to reason with Alan, William, and Carmen

-Due to Simian’s cruelty when changing classes, students like Anton, Idaho, and Joe end up destroyed more than they typically are. Anton was eventually pulled from school due to his parents noticing the increase in times they’ve had to toast him

-Anton, Hector, and Juke have all been pulled by their guardians due to the change in rules. Teri has almost been pulled

-Sarah runs a few weblogs trying to documenting the changes in the school. Alan reminds her that “this is a school and not a documentary”

-Molly’s stories become something the students actually like due to them being a change of normalcy for them. The same applies to Sussie’s behavior as she’s not gloomy despite the situation

-Penny and Carrie hang out with there boyfriends only after school due to Simian being against couples (she bent the rule for Alan and Carmen)

-Patrick wants to pull Penny from school but she wants to stick it out for Gumball and her classmates

-Masami tried to convince her dad to buy the school but he claimed it was a "poor investment"
