ʙᴜsʏ - sɪᴅ ᴊᴇɴᴋɪɴs
female!reader x sid jenkins
word count: 942
contents: 18+, loss of virginity
You stood in front of your locker exchanging your books from within your bags before you heard a soft thud next to you. Tony was leaning against the locker, his eyes locked on his phone as he typed out a text.
“ Are you coming to Nips party tonight? ”
“ No, mm’ busy tonight. ”
Tony simply just rolled his eyes and walked off, but yet not even four hours later he was completely plastered, calling your phone.
“ Where are you, I thought you were coming, ” he was barely even legible, his words slurring into the phone as music blared in the background.
“ No, I told you I have a date. ”
The phone went silent, the only indicator he was still there being the loud music.
“ You what? With who? ”
You clicked your phone shut without an answer, your date standing in front of you.
“ Hey, you alright? ”
“ Yeah Sid, let's just go get food, ” you silenced your phone shoving it in your bag.
Your fingers were intertwined with Sid's, your faces illuminated by the movie theater screen. The reflection of the movie played in Sid’s glasses, his eyes remaining on the screen, but your eyes were locked on him. You knew he was a virgin, hadn’t even kissed a girl according to Tony, but you found it endearing. He wasn’t like the other boys you had been with, he wasn’t like Tony.
You had been staring too long and now you were being reflected back to yourself in Sid’s glasses, his eyes locked on yours. You leaned in, giving him a gentle peck on the lips, but when Sid tried to pull back his cheeks flushing red you held him there. Your fingers curled in his hair playing with the exposed hair on the nape of his neck, your tongue tangled with his. You could feel how inexperienced he was. Every movement of his lips or tongue met with a retraction unsure of how to proceed.
You were only pulled from each other when the lights of the theater came on. Lipstick was smudged across Sid’s lips making you laugh, but you didn’t tell him why.
Your hand remained in his as he walked you to your doorstep.
“ Do you want to come up, my parents aren’t home. ”
Sid could practically taste the sexual innuendo from the question as it fell from your lips. He stared at you like a deer in headlights, the simple affirmation of yes getting caught in his throat.
Your eyes were locked on him, watching as his cheeks grew red and he stood frozen, “ you don’t have to… ”
Words didn’t follow your sentence, they couldn’t, it was the only thing Sid could think of doing as his lips came down upon yours. His tongue pushing into your mouth the way yours had earlier in the night, it was as if he was trying to memorize the feeling.
Sid’s nails were clawing at your hips that were covered only by a denim mini skirt as you sat in his lap. Your hands were tangled in his messy brown hair, his beanie discarded on your bedroom floor along with your shirt. It was all almost overwhelming to Sid but so exciting.
Your hands moved to the zipper on his hoodie pulling it down with one tug before it joined his beanie on the floor. You stripped him of his clothing, one by one till he was laid out on your bed in just his boxers. His cock was straining against the fabric desperate to break free of its confines. You stripped down, carelessly tossing your clothes on the floor watching as Sid’s cheeks grew redder against his pale face.
You bent down, opening your purse, grabbing out the spare rubber you always kept in the side pocket before joining Sid on the bed. You tore open the plastic with your teeth before grabbing the rubber discarding the rest on the bed.
“ Can you take em’ off for me? ”
Sid hastily nodded, his fingers hooked under the elastic waistband pushing them down before kicking them. His cock was resting against his abdomen, the veins that lay visible through the skin pulsing. You slowly rolled the condom onto his cock already earning a groan from Sid. Your hands rested on his chest for support as you sunk down onto his shaft, his head was already thrown back pushing against your pillows as groans tumbled past his lips. His fingers gripped the sheets, his knuckles going white as he tried desperately not to finish too early, but his efforts were futile as you simply rolled your hips against his. A loud moan filled the room, his hips bucking into yours as he finished.
“ Shit- I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to- ”
I cut him off by pressing my lips to his, “ we’re not done. ”
Your hips rolled against his before you grabbed his hands moving them to grasp your breasts. Your soft moans were much quieter than all the sounds falling from Sid’s lips. His hips rutted into yours, nothing could pull you from one another till something did.
You could hear the loud pounding from downstairs as someone banged on the door. Your brow furrowed knowing you didn’t invite anyone over and your parents weren’t coming back till Monday. You slowly slid off Sid pulling his zip up over your unclothed body struggling with the zipper as you ran down the steps insisting to whoever was pounding on the door that you were coming.
You had just gotten the zipper up when you opened the door revealing Tony, partially standing and partially leaning on the railing that guarded the front of your porch.

Cracked Clay Cup Chapter 14
@greatbigolhampuckjustforme
“I do not believe you have amnesia,” said Ember. “I do not believe you have amnesia. How are you so freaking–”
Phantom beaned Ember in the face with a seat cushion. It might have been soft, but Ember didn’t exactly check to make sure that no one put gum under them after concerts.
“LESS TALKING MORE SINGING!” Technus shrieked electronically. “NANOBOT ATTACK!”
“No!” said Skulker. “Not the freaking–”
A swarm of robots descended from vents in the ceiling. Toy robots. Brightly colored, with rounded edges. They had lasers. Ones that stung.
“Ouch!” said Phantom.
“Augh!” squeaked Ember.
“Goddamn–” shouted Skulker before being borne under the colorful swarm.
“BEHOLD, MY ROBOT ARMY!”
Freaking Leeroy-Jenkins-looking–
Phantom shoved them to the sides of the room with a wave of ecto-energy.
“Hey, speaking of that, do you know Vlad?”
“Speaking of what?” demanded Ember, pulling gum out of her hair. She was going to kill him for that. “Freaking robot armies? Are you going to tell us that Plasmius has a robot army?”
“AND HE DIDN’T BUY IT FROM ME?”
“Of course he wouldn’t! Ol’ Plaz is a loser but he knows about malware.”
“No, I mean, like, I learned that move from him,” said Phantom. “And, like, it does seem like all of you guys know each other, yeah? I’m the point of contact, probably, but still–”
“Actually, no,” said Ember. “Skulker’s been working for Plasmius for ages.” Skulker had also clawed his way out of the robots and was now sneaking up on Phantom rather effectively.
Except, suddenly, it wasn’t so effective. Phantom twisted, reached back, hooked his fingers under the edge of Skulker’s helmet and heaved. Skulker’s head popped off cleanly before soaring across the auditorium.
Phantom stared after it for a moment, then shrieked, loudly. “His head! Oh, gosh, his head.”
Okay, maybe the dipstick did have amnesia.
“Oh my gosh, I didn’t mean to– His head came off. His head. Is he– He’s already dead, is he– I didn’t mean to hurt– to end–” The main part of Skulker’s armor fell over with a clatter.
“Oh my god,” said Ember, flying over to Skulker. The actual Skulker. In the pilot’s seat in the helmet. Usually she wouldn’t do this, but Phantom looked like he was about to cry. She picked him up and yanked him out of the helmet. “This is Skulker. He just likes to stomp around in a suit of armor, ‘cause he’s compensating for something.”
“Hey!” squealed Skulker.
“It’s a mecha!” chimed in Technus, proudly. “My own design!”
“That’s… actually pretty cool,” said Phantom. “But I think– I think I need to– Go home. And lie down or something. Have a, um, a good one. We’ll hang out later. Or fight. Yeah.” He hit a button on his weird necklace pocketwatch and disappeared.
“Well,” said Ember. “That was anticlimactic.”
“Yeah.”
“Kind of was.”
“Wanna keep fighting?” she asked.
“YES!”

Master Of The Earth (Bob Floyd x Reader)
Summary: Out of all the Daggers, Bob has the biggest green thumb of all
Tagging: @floydsmuse @callmemana @attapullman @bradshawsbaby @withahappyrefrain
It was one of those spring days where you knew summer would be right around the corner, bright and sunny, the birds singing and the fresh early morning air making its way into the house. You had been sitting out on the front steps, enjoying your morning coffee and relieved that your lesson plans for your class's sixth grade year were finally done and that all you would have to worry about were the Greek Games and the spring fair at the school you taught at.
You heard the faint playing of music coming from somewhere around the corner, just having finished a phone call with Bob's grandfather and wondering if your mind was playing tricks on you.
You wandered around the back to the backyard where the garden was already beginning to bloom, noticing that the greenhouse door was cracked open just a little to let in the fresh air. A cheeky grin played with your lips when you heard the bluetooth speaker playing "Shambala" by Three Dog Night and your eyes laying upon Bob who was dancing shirtless as he shoveled some of the bagged soil into the clay pots on the long wooden table.
"BOB!!"
"Jeebus FUCK!!!" he blurted out, jumping a little.
"Have you been in here all morning?" you asked him.
"Since five in the AM," he chuckled, drawing you in for a tight hug.
Oooh he was warm, so warm and a little sticky from the greenhouse humidity, smelling of fresh dirt and wet leaves. You kissed the curve of his neck and the tops of his pecs before he gladly and eagerly returned the kisses you had been giving.
"Oh, I've gotta show you these," he said excitedly.
He gently guided you to the bench where a whole pile of seed packets were waiting to be opened. "Oh my God," you chuckled. "Did you raid the entire Home Depot garden section?"
Bob had opened his mouth to say something. "I......ya know......it's funny you should ask that....."
"Robert Joseph......"
"(Y/n) I swear half of it was my dad's idea, I'm not lying."
You laughed and rolled your eyes. Bob, his dad Joe Floyd and Joe's father, Lowell, were the only three people on the face of the earth who would have willingly raided a Home Depot garden section and not given a single fuck hereafter. "Alright Professor Floyd," you said. "Continue with the lecture."
"Ah ok," Bob said. "Now we have here an assortment of plants that will be first put into clay pots and then gradually into bigger ones until they are ready to root in the ground. Now if you would like to flip through the pile of seed packets, you may feel free to do so."
You laughed and gladly flipped through the pile of packets, amazed at what Bob had been able to get. Calendula, oregano, cayenne pepper, chamomile, poppies, lavender, rosemary, mint, marigolds, valerian and a whole host of other herbs and flora that you swore weren't even native to where you lived.
"Ooh, yarrow," you said.
"That was always Meemaw's favorite," Bob explained. "I've also got tulsi, catnip and mugwort too."
"What else did you plant?" you asked him.
"Maybe a peach tree," Bob said, blushing a little. "For my sweet, juicy little peach of course."
You giggled, the heat filling you from head to toe.
"I've also got a few bushes too," Bob continued. "Blackberry, elderberry, raspberry.......maybe a camellia bush. Black cohosh will help with mom's hot flashes and keep the pests away. Nasturtium will grow hardy but they need wood dowels to climb up. I'd like to see about some mullein and nettle but I'm not sure where we'd put it. Hawk said he would come by later and give me some white sage seeds that he extracted from his daughter's garden too."
You could have listen to him babble on for hours about the plants and the experiments he was trying. You made a mental note to introduce him to Mr. Jenkins, the high school science teacher who was teaching his ninth graders some of the principals and techniques involved in holistic farming, as the two of them would have a day long conversation.
You and Bob set to planting the seeds, scooping the dirt and putting it into the pots along with the seeds and properly burying them just enough so they could push through to the surface when the time came. You watered and fertilized as you saw fit, taking pictures of new sprouts or buds and adding them into Bob's journal full of his drawings, writings and observations. You both had lost track of the time until you realized it was already noon and time for lunch. But thankfully, the day wasn't over yet and you could do as much more planting as the day would allow.

Yo, I've seen your book rec posts on and off for a while, and I was wondering if you could (if you have time ^.^ if not, that's cool too) throw up a list of your favorite lgbt/neurodivergent/unique protagonist books? I don't think I've ever read a book outside of fanfiction where the lead/s weren't just some form of 'normal' or straight or whatever. Also, since you're one of my favorite authors I feel like I'd be more inclined to give one of them a go lol ^.^'
There are an increasing number of diverse books out there!
Here are some of my personal favourites in no particular order, by which I mean I have rated them 4 stars (I really liked it) or 5 stars (it was amazing) and then curated the list some more on top of that. E.g. I might have thought it was amazing at the time, but if I can't tell you anything that happened in the story years after reading it, it's not on the list. That doesn't mean it's not worth reading, just that I have a bad memory so if I remember it definitely did something right!)
You can find more books I've read on my Goodreads. There are books that fit what you've asked for on there, it just doesn't fit my personal curated favourites list!
LGBTQ books
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller (m/m)
If We Were Villains by M.L Rio (m/m)
Girls Made of Snow and Glass and Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust
Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand (f/f + ace)
In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado (f/f - non fiction)
Salt Slow by Julia Armfield (f/f)
Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin (m/m)
Nightwood by Djuna Barnes (f/f - though be warned, this is a weird one! Rated highly more because I can't get it out of my head than that I liked it)
Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith by Sarah Waters (f/f)
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Peter Darling by Austin Chant (m/m, trans)
The Binding by Bridget Collins (m/m)
The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J Klune (m/m)
Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth (f/f)
The Greenhollow duology by Emily Tesh (m/m)
These Violent Delights by Micah Nemerever (m/m)
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (f/f)
(Obligatory read MY BOOK The God Key (m/m) here!) Obviously, this is my favourite ;)
Unique/Interesting protagonists:
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon
I Am Not A Serial Killer by Dan Wells
Middlegame by Seanan McGuire (Her Wayward Children series is also great and has a lot of LGBTQ rep!)
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang (MC has Asperger's)
A Spindle Splintered by Alix.E. Harrow (terminally ill MC, also f/f)
Fugitive Pieces by Anne Michaels

What is 'Crimson Peak'?
"Crimson Peak" is the nickname for Allerdale Hall, a dilapidated mansion noted for the red clay that constantly seeps out of its grounds. It becomes the new home for aspiring author Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) when she marries its owner, Thomas Sharpe (Hiddleston). Unfortunately, the mansion is also home to Thomas' sinister sister Lucille (Jessica Chastain) and a bevy of horrifying ghosts (noted creature actors Doug Jones and Javier Botet). Meanwhile, Edith's father has been gruesomely murdered, and her childhood friend Dr. Alan McMichael (Charlie Hunnam) is on the case, uncovering dark secrets from the Sharpe siblings' past. Soon, those secrets are revealed, and Crimson Peak becomes a place of murder and mayhem - where the living are far more terrifying than the dead.
Arrow's 4K edition of Crimson Peak will be released on May 21, 2024.

I'm finally getting into historical romance after avoiding it for too long. Weirdly, this is because of Bridgerton, even though the show is often boring and the books feel as old as they are. Can you help me find overtly feminist books with sex scenes that are meaningfully connected to the characters and/or the plot. I enjoy fic, but I want the exact opposite of it when I'm reading a novel. Thanks!
Sure!
Scarlett Peckham is a great starting point here. Her books are on the more creative side re: sex scenes (by which I mean mildly kinky lol but also INTENTIONALLY kinky, as in the characters know what kink is) but she's very interested in the movements around them and come from diverse backgrounds. Her recently-concluded Society of Sirens trilogy is about a group of friends who campaign for women's rights, etc; what makes it more interesting to me than say Evie Dunmore books (I'll be honest, not a big fan of those, and they WILL get recommended to anyone who asks for feminist historical romance) is that the heroines legitimately come from different walks of life. One of them is a "rakess" who's basically a high class lady gone rogue; one of them is a biracial heiress; one is a courtesan who actually doesn't hate sex work but also can acknowledge its pros and cons.
This series also has some of the more consistently... I don't wanna say "beta" heroes, but none of them are alpha males and they're also not straightforward "cinnamon rolls".
Sarah MacLean has a great ongoing series called Hell's Belles about a group of female friends who fuck shit up for the sake of helping women who need them. The most recent book hits on the subject of abortion rights especially, which I looove. All MacLean books are written with feminism in mind, but this series is probably the most explicitly feminist.
Joanna Shupe is another author I'd blanket recommend on that level. Her Uptown Girls trilogy has a heroine, for example, who wants to open a casino for women and hits on things like an "unconventional" happily ever after (i.e., one where being together and happy forever doesn't necessarily mean marriage and babies.... people HATED that Florence and Clay were like "oh we're just gonna fuck each other and not have kids for the rest of our lives" and I liiiived).
Her Fifth Avenue Rebels series is also quite feminist, both casually and more politically. Our first book has a tennis playing heroine, and the last focuses on a heroine who spends a lot of her free time providing birth control to poor women, while also being upfront about her sexuality, the fact that she's had an abortion and doesn't regret it, the damage the Comstock Act caused... Also, her hero is completely in awe of her. I WOULD recommend reading this series in order, as they're all good and that last book is at its best when you see the buildup of the leads beforehand.
Grace Callaway definitely has a lighter tone... while actually hitting on some pretty dark shit... But if you want something that's feminist, super sexy, and kinda campy, Lady Charlotte's Society of Angels is literally Victorian Charlie's Angels with a female "Charlie". There is a lot of sex in these books, but I find it really fun and about getting the characters to bond. She also gets into subject matter that a lot of (white) authors don't... Like the Opium Wars.
Beverly Jenkins, of course, is one of the best out there. Her characters are more quietly feminist, but it's kind of an obvious part of the stories because she's not interested in white society at all. She also writes excellent female friendships and familial relationships. I'd recommend trying Forbidden (the Black heroine goes out west and becomes a cook, falls for a rich white man, thinks they can't be together, is unaware that he actually is NOT white and is the son of an an enslaved woman and a plantation owner who left the South and is now passing) or To Catch a Raven (really fun heist-y romance that involves the THEFT OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE) to start, though Indigo is my favorite of hers.
Diana Quincy writes really fun, feminist-streaked romance novels, some of which star Palestinian characters. Her most recent book is The Duke Gets Desperate and I fucking loved it. An American businesswoman inherits a castle and shows up like "Okay but we need to start hosting paid tours here because otherwise it's a money pit and I'm selling" while the duke who insists she did not actually inherit gasps in horror because you can't! Host! Tours! IN A CASTLE!!!!
Hotel of Secrets by Diana Biller is a great one. The heroine is the third generation to run this hotel in Vienna after her grandmother and mother did. They've also been consistently officially single (her grandmother actually has a female partner and her mother is a rich man's mistress) and illegitimate. The heroine is very independent, has no shame about her sex life, and is both funny and practical... Then people start trying to kill her and the strait-laced undercover American spy who's been at the hotel has to save her. Also he's a virgin. Fast-paced, funny, super romantic, and very unconventional.
Minerva Spencer has an entire trilogy about a group of women who perform in a circus—The Wild Women of Whitechapel. Very feminist, very fun, there's dueling and boxing and men who are very happy to be with women who could step on them.
Definitely get into Adriana Herrera's Las Leonas series—it's about a group of friends who leave the (now) Dominican Republic for Paris. You get everything from birth control to Lesbian Paris discussed, as well as tons of romance, fingerbanging on the Eiffel Tower, and more.
