2023 Music Recap (Top 100 Tracks Only)

As requested, this is my summary of K-pop songs that appealed to me this past year! I could only include 100 songs due to the URL limit set by Tumblr & also sorted by order of release date, but I had to condense the post (hence "Keep Reading"). This post also took me longer than expected because of ITZY's surprise comeback announcement. @_@

Special mention goes to Naver's new music show, NPOP! What's visually different about NPOP is that the on-screen lyrics (& group members' names) are center-aligned, whereas all the other shows have lyrics on the bottom left. The “ZEALOUS” MV is great, but “Tick Tick Boom” is a masterpiece! I loved My Teenage Girl while I was watching it, and I thought seeing CLASS:y debut with “SHUT DOWN” was the happy ending everyone deserved ... but this surprise epilogue just feels so good!
