Husband to her elegance lady Parvati and true-blood father to Set Reborn. Blessed by the Father himself with many gifts, he lives lavishly and lovingly for his followers. Born in the dirt and having lived in squalor, he now exists in his immortal unlife entombed in gold, as is his right. The Devil card represents sexuality, bondage to mortal pleasures and materialism. Despite living unchained to the Aeons, Harri is just like the flock he shepherds - shackled mercilessly the pleasures and gifts of the material realm.

Couple more NPCs from my toolbox of weird little freaks to torture my friends with. Daciana (it/she) - Voivode Gilead's lieutenant-class of Szlachta, grafted to a suit of metal armour and pretty much nothing but muscle and teeth beneath. Fafnir (she/her) - Ancient Norse Tzimisce, beefed with Mithras during the Danelaw and got put in timeout for a thousand ears. Fish out of water if said fish was some fucked up shark. Oleg (he/him) - Romanian Voivode of the Old Clan, rival to Gilead. Their beef dates back to when they were both Revenants. Arsène (any) - Toreador Setite Initiate who's been wrapping a friend's PC around their finger for nefarious reasons.

Iele (any) - A strange little entity my players are yet to encounter. Is it some weird Tzimisce, Fae, something more sinister? They'll find out soon enough. Nadežda (she/her) - Ex Oprichniki Revenant, turned Gangrel headhunter. Has a bone to pick with uppity Revenants, particularly those with questionable loyalties. Anewa (any) - Local Nagaraja weirdo, making its lair in the Graveyard where it barters the wraiths of people's loved ones for important information. Those wraiths just taste better if they still got people who care about their souls. Kyle (he/they) - Samedi in some shady business, mostly organ harvesting and other black market dealings. Merc for hire with loyalties to whoever pays the highest.

My name’s Roshan, fae/faer and maybe other neos if they’re funny and/or vibes enough, and I’m a fictive in the system hosted by Rani (you know, the one y’all actually wanted to hear from when you followed this blog). I’ll probably make my own blog soon but the people voted for me to hijack this one for a bit first, so here we are!

Some basic info: I’m a vampire from a weird version of the World of Darkness (20th anniversary edition; 5th edition isn’t real and can’t hurt us) known only to our tabletop group, a homebrew setting we call the “remix” where none of the normal clans exist and instead they’ve been replaced by all-new clans with fun new Discipline (powerset) combinations.

I myself am part of the Cult of Mithras, which is kind of similar to the Setites except also completely different. We are a mystery cult (meaning a group that only allows initiates to witness rituals) that worships, as one might expect, the god Mithras, whom we believe to be the father of vampirism - god of the sun, the waters, justice, truth, covenants, and the pastures. We believe that long ago, vampires turned away from Mithras, and in his rage, he cursed us with the inability to bear sunlight - the Mithraics seek to right this wrong and bring vampire society back to the tenets of Mithras, of justice and truth and community, and thus to lift the curse from first ourselves and then all vampires.

Before anyone gets antsy about evangelism (fair), personally, I think that preaching at people is usually the wrong way to go about that. My principle is to simply exist publicly as an example of how much better Mithraic principles can be to live by compared to the backstabbing and deception and mistrust that vampiric society is known for - to help people and show the good of Mithras’s teachings by example, not to try to manipulate or pressure people into agreeing with me. I’m more concerned with action than belief; if you’re generally a kind, fair, and trustworthy person, that matters a lot more to me than whether you profess faith in the same god. I’m definitely not gonna try to start converting anyone here - there’s no reason to. You don’t need to worry about that.
