VtM Clan Quest Mod Headcanon

Recently I finished playing the Sabbat path for the Vampire the Masquerade Clan Quest Mod. Playing a female Tremere I like to think that with Victoria and Arturo at least that the Player Character gets called La Bruja (The Witch). In that kind of community some kind of characteristic nickname is inevitable. I wouldn't be surprised if Victoria is called La Serpienta.

Some nicknames for player characters of the clans I can think of are:

Nosferatu - El/La Cucuy. (Closest translation is the Boogeyman, but it's a particular creature meant to scare kids into behaving I and other Hispanic kids grew up traumatized by.)

Tremere - El Brujo/La Bruja (The Witch)

Ventrue/Toreador - El/La Fresa (Superficial and wealthy member of the upper class.)

Gangrel - El Perro/La Perra (The Dog)

Malkavian - El Loco/La Loca (The Lunatic)

Brujah - El Rebelde/La Rebelde (The Rebel)

Considering the player character no doubt ends up in a prominent position, Enforcer/Pack Priest maybe? I like the idea of a newbie Fledgling hearing an ominous title like "Oh, you need to go see La Bruja."

Though I'm very interested to hear if others have played it and thought of other nicknames.

Okay, so a bit of a confession here, I'm going to have to look up a playthrough of Clan Quest because two reasons; both of which are summed up with the sentence, "I have to kill Gary."

Firstly, I made a more stealth oriented character and he hits like a truck. That turned him from a boss fight to a Souls game boss fight where you can't use a dodge. Also I suck at video games

Secondly, it hurts me on an emotional level. Like, that's my guy! You can't expect me to hurt my guy!

Tried to a few times and it rent my soul in twain.

I do really appreciate all of the effort I have already seen in this though, and might try again with a different file to play it myself.

But, for right now I will be boring and take one of the vanilla paths on the moded game, haha

Ok so just finished cqm and now that I can actually remember what happened:

enjoyed it, but it could really use some polish. vtmb as a whole screams jank but there were some moments that were just pretty wild 😭

Call me delusional but I hope there’s an update despite no work on it being done for years. Cause some parts were great but some of the stuff was straight up immersion breaking.

Also… the player dialogue gave edgy high school shooter at times. Like I know this is sabbat but cmon 💀 eventually I got a mod for it and it helped a lot though.

also while i enjoy what the clan quest mod added (sabbat ending in general being fun) boy i'm gonna be mad at them forever for how dirty they did vv and to some extent bertram

i know toreador and nosferatu rivalry is intense but you cannot tell me the dude involved with jeanette would talk like THAT about vv smh smh
