RESIDENT EVIL 2: LIVE ACTION FAN CAST

SYDNEY SWEENEY as CLAIRE REDFIELD

She physically suits the role (just add some hair dye and we’ll be golden), and she’s proven her acting to be absolutely phenomenal. I would love to see her in an action/horror role like resident evil (Sydney as a badass motorcycle chick? Yes PLEASE). Plus she actually looks closer to Claire’s age (19 years old), unlike Kaya Scodelario, who was around 28 and playing a 19 year old, like tf?

LUCKY BLUE SMITH as LEON KENNEDY

This one was a lot harder seeing as how Leon’s looks are one of his most iconic aspects (the baby blue eyes and the emo hair). It’s a shame that Eduart Badaluta doesn’t act. Jensen Ackles also would’ve been an amazing choice if he wasn’t too old to play a 21 year old. But after some digging, I found Lucky Blue Smith! And just to be sure, I photoshopped him into to make sure he suited the look too!

MCKENNA GRACE as SHERRY BIRKIN

Now this is one I don’t need to explain, nor will I take any arguments on this. Just look at their comparisons, then look at Mckenna’s talent. End of story.

HO-YEON JUNG or ANGELABABY as ADA WONG

For Ada, my initial idea was Ho-Yeon Jung because she just has that badass/sexy/spy look to her. She looks like she would screw me over but in a way that would leave me still in love with her (looks at Leon). Also, her in Squid Games is just *chefs kiss*, she’s fucking amazing and her talent is through the roof! But I figured this would be disrespectful to Ada’s Chinese heritage since Ho-Yeon is South Korean. So after much digging I found Angelababy, who is the closest to the Ada image that I could find. While I still prefer Ho-Yeon, Angelababy is a way to respect Ada’s Chinese roots.

DON CHEADLE or COLMAN DOMINGO as MARVIN BRANAGH

Don is an under-utilised actor in my opinion, and after seeing his work in the MCU I would love to see him in more big projects. I think he could really play out Marvin’s character extremely well, and he was my first thought for his casting.

Colman was in Fear the Walking Dead for starters, and I love what I’ve seen of him in Euphoria so far. I can really picture him in this role both aesthetically and character wise. He looks quite like Marvin in this picture (on the right to Marvin) that I actually did a double check on whether he did the model for him.

GILLIAN ANDERSON as ANNETTE BIRKIN

No explanation needed. She fits both aesthetically and talent wise, especially if you’ve seen her in The Great or Sex Education.

OWEN WILSON as WILLIAM BIRKIN

Not that Owens face would be utilised much since William kinda becomes an unrecognisable monster, but Owen fits both aesthetically and he’s a talented actor.

Introducing Snack Stories

Character facts, dialogue, and songs I compare to them bellow!!

Okay fine I have writer’s block if it isn’t obvious, and I’m also overwhelmed currently with school and my family brought home a dog and NOW A KITTEN TOO LIKE GUYS ITS A ZOO IN HERE

So until inspiration on where to go with chapter two strikes, I’ve been randomly thinking up little things for the AU like OCs and small moments between characters that I think are cute. So I’ll now be providing small little moments between chapters that aren’t very important to the story but like just giving little bite sized story.

Like I want to do some of Violet and Alastor as kids interacting, or of Alastor teaching Annie how to dance to his favorite music. Maybe even Vox hating Alastor but being unable to hate Annie despite how similar she looks, because she acts just like Violet and it’s his niece at the end of the day, even if it’s also Alastor’s brat.

Idk between the stress and not knowing where to go with chapter two, this seems more manageable for now 💜

How my human Husk and Angel feel about one another

A bit about Violet:

Honestly she can be so sweet a lot of the time, and she truly thinks the best of everyone.

So it’s even more shocking when she loses her shit if Annie, Alastor, or even Vox when he was small get hurt.

Seriously do not hurt her family you will not like the outcome.

Alastor is very proud the first time he sees her out for blood, which was after he got picked on for being mixed race.

She straight up tried to fight a boy twice her size for Al and she won.

“Violet!! Are you okay?! You didn’t have to do that…” He looked concerned seeing her bloody lip and a couple bruises on her. He didn’t expect his petite friend to chase his bully across campus like that…

“Yeah? I’m fine Al! I ain’t that banged up. That son of a biscuit is far worse off rest assured! Heh… anyway I’m probably going to be suspended so try to hold out for a few days huh?” Violet smiles like this was completely normal and it wasn’t at all surprising she beat the shit out of an upperclassmen…

On one occasion as adults she had seen a grown man trying to coax Annie into following him while they were at a park. She politely asked him to leave her daughter be, but after the man continued being creepy she punched him in the face before picking Annie up and going to find Alastor so they could leave

Said man later went missing but Alastor swears it’s a coincidence (The blood on his dress shirt said otherwise)

Violet doesn’t know about Alastor’s hobby at first, but finds out about ten years into their marriage

After learning he only kills dangerous people who harm others, she’s fine with it, but he can’t kill Vox

“You cannot kill my little brother!!” She argued to him

“He fits my rules!”

709 Clare Street 1: The Phone Call

Mia Siobhan St. Claire lived in a townhouse with 20 other girls. The girl who shared her apartment was one of her teenhood best friends, Mollie McEntire. In their space, it was obvious who owned what. Mia was a mature, fashionable figure skater. She had light red hair, hazel eyes, and freckles. Mollie was a retro loving cheerleader and guitar player who had wavy brown hair with bangs, grey eyes, and glasses. Mia had posters of figure skaters on the wall, and in between those where posters for Mollie's favorite movies (she particularly liked Summerland and Narnia). In the middle of the room was a sewing machine that didn't belong to either of them.

Mollie Maria McEntire was sitting in the tartan plaid armchair against the wall and doodling on the side of her converse with a ballpoint pen.

Mia reached towards a scarf on the hook on the wall, and started putting it on. "Hey, I'm going to run some errands. I'm expecting a phone call today. If the phone rings while I'm out, answer it and take the massage. I'm trusting you okay?"

Mia never trusted Mollie in the past. Mollie never did have the best responsibility streak. But she had been ready to change that for a while. "Okay," she said. And Mia left the house.

Okay. This should be easy. All she had to do was sit there until the phone rings...

Which was so boring.

The door opened and Mollie turned to look at the newcomer. It was one of her friends and neighbors, Indiana. Indiana had her curly brown hair pushed out of her face with bobby pins and she was wearing long overalls.

"Hey, Moll. Harper sent me to get you for band practice," she said. Mollie was in a band with four other girls from the building. She played guitar (both acoustic and electric), Indiana played drums, Indiana's roommate, Corey, was backup guitar, a cool punk girl named Alessia-Rosa played base, and her roommate, Harper, was the lead singer.

"Sorry, Indiana, I have to stay here and take a call for Mia. Can Corey take over for me?"

"Sure. Just make sure you practice a bit before out gig next week."

"Will do." Mollie figured she could play a few songs while waiting for the phone call.

"So, why are you taking this call for Mia?" Indiana asked.

Mollie pulled at a thread on the end of her skirt. "She's running errands. I don't know who the call is from, but I know it's got to be important if it's going through the landline number. And I think it's great that she's trusting me."

"I wouldn't"

Mollie looked up, and next to Indiana stood McKenna-Saylor, another one of Mollie's highschool best friends. McKenna-Saylor was a fashionable girl, with long hair and reading glasses pushed to the top of her head.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Mollie asked defensively.

"Nothing," McKenna-Saylor said. "I just cam here to pick up my sewing machine that I let Mia borrow."

"How'd you even get in?" Mollie asked. "Wait. Indiana, how'd you get in?"

"Door's unlocked," McKenna-Saylor said.

"That... can't be safe. Anyway, I'm trustworthy," Mollie said.

McKenna-Saylor raised her eyebrow. "Sure."

"Oh, give her a break, McKenna-Saylor," Indiana said. "It's just a phone call."

McKenna-Saylor shrugged. "I'm just saying, you didn't go to highschool with Mollie. You have no clue the kind of shenanigans she got up to."

"To be fair," Mollie said, "Indiana is probably worse than me."

"Wow, thanks. I'm going to band practice." And Indiana left with a wave.

McKenna-Saylor waved back. "Well, I need to call Marion real quick to help me carry this." (Marion was another highschool friend of Mollie's, who was probably the one with the most upper body strength as a mechanic.)

Mollie stood up. "I can help."

"No, no," she said, "you need to stay here and wait for that phone call."

"Oh, yeah."

So McKenna-Saylor went and get fetched Marion to help her get the sewing machine table next door to her room. They started lifting it as Mollie picked up her acoustic guitar, and started picking at the strings.

"This is so boring," Mollie said, putting down her guitar.

"What's boring?" Emily walked into the room. Emily was yet another of their highschool friends. There's a few of them. Emily had short red hair, and liked wearing vintage floral dresses. She was a florist.

"I have to take a call for Mia."

"What?"

"What do you mean what? I have to take a call for Mia."

"What do you mean what do you mean what? Mia has a phone."

"What do you mean what do you mean what do-"

"Okay stop," Emily interrupted. "Doesn't she take her cell phone with her everywhere? Like everyone else?"

"Oh, she only gets important calls on the landline."

"But if it's important, shouldn't she get it right away?" Emily asked.

"No."

And just then, as Mollie said "no," the phone rang. Mollie scrambled to take the phone off the wall.

"St. Claire residence, this is Mollie McEntire speaking ... Oh, she's running errands right now, can I take a message? ... Really? Oh that's great, she'll love to hear that. Alright bye." And she hung up the phone.

McKenna-Saylor leaned against the sewing machine table. "Well, who was it?" she asked.

"The skate club," Mollie said. "Apparently Mia is officially on their competitive team."

"Legit?" Marion asked. "That's so great for her."

"We should surprise her! Like, with a banner or something."

"That's a good idea. I've got a roll of brown paper in my apartment," Marion added.

"And I'll grab some paint from Siouxsie." (Siouxsie was their artist friend.) "This will be grand."

So Mollie, Emily, McKenna-Saylor, and Marion sat on the floor of the room, painting the banner with blue and pink paint. McKenna-Saylor dipped her paintbrush back into the paintpot and found that it was nearly empty.

"Guys, we're almost out of blue paint," she said.

"Oh, I've got paint on my dress," Emily said, pointing out a blue splotch on her floral purple dress.

McKenna-Saylor leaned over to look at the stain, before the ends of her hair brushed through the paint. "Oh, come on! I got paint in my hair." And she ran into the bathroom to get it out before it dried.

Marion put her paintbrush down. "Is it just me or is this a lot messier than it should be?"

"What? No, the banner looks great," Mollie said.

"No, it does," Marion said, before clarifying, "I mean just the activity in general. This paint seems really watery."

"Yeah, well, Siouxsie didn't want us using her good thick paint so we get the watery stuff."

Emily tried to lift the banner. "I think the banner is stuck to the floor because the paint seeped through."

"Huh... Maybe this would've been better with construction paper," Mollie suggested.

"We should've just made a poster," Marion said.

"You're the one who brought the brown paper."

The door opened. All four girls turned around to see Mia walking into the apartment, and scrambled to block her view of the mess.

"Hey y'all, what's going on?" Mia asked. None of the girls said anything. "Okay... Did I get that phone call while I was gone?"

"Yes," Mollie said.

"And?"

"Um… surprise?" Mollie stepped away from the banner.

Mia took a deep breath.
