Thoughts are ghosts, when you look for them they disappear... Old newspaper press control panel. Medium format 120, TLR Ciroflex.

Zona extrema, parque la Huasteca. La primer foto fue sacada con una Ciroflex, rollo Ilford pan f plus iso 50. La segunda foto es la misma formación, pero sacada con una clásica kodak brownie hawk eye, el rollo es un Iford delta. La ciroflex carga un lente wollensak en tanto que la brownie, un lente de menisco pinche. Ambas son formato 120. Se aprecian notables diferencias, pero cada foto tiene su encanto particular, y no podemos decir que una sea mejor que la otra. La claridad del wollensak no la tiene la kodak, pero esta última posee un efecto lomográfico que añade un elemento interesante a la narración. La Ciroflex permite controlar la velocidad de obturación, la apertura y el enfoque. A la Brownie sólo le picas al disparador: no hay ningún otro control (y no es automática, claro). Cada cámara tiene su estilo, su manera de expresarse, sólo hay que descubrir y entender esas características, esos detalles, y usarlas para expresar con más claridad e intensidad nuestra manera de ver el mundo.   https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt-io-cgr2F/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1of54nb2kvt91

On Saturday, I ventured out to Central Park with a 1946 Ciro-flex camera, which was passed down to me generously by New York Camera of Princeton. While shooting, a few people interrupted my shots and showed great amounts of curiosity towards my camera and were pleased to know that I was shooting film.
