Varigo Circus!AU

Has probably been done before but w/e, it’s been sitting in my head for a week so I needed to get this out. More details under read more.

Circus AU where Varian has been a part of Cirque du Corona for a number of years. Either he runs away from home or his family has always been apart of the circus, I haven’t decided yet. While he is one of the youngest in the troupe he is one of the strongest performers they have. He specialises in acrobatics and the tightrope, being able to carry not only his weight, but others as well. He loves being on the trapeze the most and isn’t afraid of heights.

Enter Hugo, ex Olympian in training until he got sick of the hassle in abusing his body. Ultimately ran away from his coach to join Cirque du Corona. He finds it difficult to make friends however thinks very highly of his skills. He specialises in contortionism and juggling after a bit of training by Corona’s trainers. Terrified of heights and is constantly watching the trapeze thinking one day one of them will break their neck. Starts to catch feelings for the blue eyed acrobat that has little time for him. (Hence The Greatest Showman reference)

Probably won’t ever write it as I just don’t have time to spend writing atm, but I hope you all enjoy this messy piece and feel free to ask me anything about it, may jog some more art if I unpack more of my thoughts.
