Intro

Discussion rambles I had with my friends Cinna and Snow about a KHR AU scenario of mine where XanLena (Xanxus/Selena) and the rest of the Varia visit Vietnam.

For those who don't know, Selena is my Viet NB assassin KHR OC who joins the Varia as one of their members. She has a calm, reserved personality and likes flowers, gardening, and fashion. In my KHR AU, she is Xanxus' S/O. My lotus themed wife... 💜🪷

Varia visits Vietnam

Omg this generates ideas in my head of the Varia taking a vacation to Vietnam... When Selena asks him about visiting Vietnam, I feel like Xanxus would want to see Selena's home country

Hạ Long Bay

Me: The idea I had in my head was so funny. Like I imagined the Varia visiting famous Viet tourist attractions like Hạ Long Bay. The Varia members are going sightseeing in boats.

Xanxus and Selena are sitting together in a separate boat, while Xanxus is sitting all cross legged

The other members (Squalo, Bel, Lussuria, Levi, Mammon) are in separate boats. At one point, they start arguing and fighting. And the ensuing chaos causes their boats to tip over, causing them to all fall into the water

Me: And Xanxus continues to sit there with his eyes closed, completely unconcerned/unfazed, and Selena is just like (!?!?!?) when she sees the huge splashes when everyone falls into the water

I imagined him to have these expressions~

I imagine when the Varia members fight and tip each other's boats over (which causes everyone except XanLena to fall into the water), Xanxus is just sitting like this, completely unfazed while chilling in his boat with Selena

I remember coming up with a bunch of KHR AU scenarios where the Varia visit Vietnam. I wanna make more scenarios based on this idea since it's so fun to imagine the Varia's shenanigans while they're on vacation in Vietnam.

Selena would be scolding them to not wreck her home country 💥

I imagine Selena expresses to Xanxus that she feels a little homesick since she's been living with him in Italy but misses going back to see her home country every once in a while, so she wants to take a short trip to Vietnam by herself, if possible, when her work is done.

Xanxus thinks it over in his head and then decides they'll be going on vacation.

Xanxus announces to the Varia and they're going on vacation and says it's for "work" but everyone knows what it's actually for.

Hehehe. Getaway vacation to Vietnam! ✌️

Me: I imagine Selena has a trait where she tips money to children at booths (since kids often help out at their family's stores). Like in general, she gives tips to people who provide good services, but will give larger amounts to kids.

Me: Still cannot believe that FGO gave me the first major Viet rep in mainstream media like animanga and games. And they were drawn by Takegarou, one of my fave artists. And they have wonderful designs and colours. Massive W

Cuz it's FGO, which has a horrible reputation with rep, I expected to lose on every front tbh, but I won with this (and I never expected to win)

The outfit designs and colours are gorgeous... Take is such a good character designer and has really diverse body and facial types and skintones (unlike F*na LMFAO).

Take has such a strong aesthetic sense. Her colours are so strong. I love that the Trưng Sisters have tanner skin like a SEA person would. I used them as refs for Selena and Xanxus' skintones (I HC Xanxus to be a mixed Italian)

My good friend Feuri told me that Southern Italy and especially Sicily tends to have a higher mixed population and more tan and olive skinned folks compared to North Italy.

So I HC Xanxus has a very mixed ethnicity (^^) And it fits with the KHR ani giving him an olive or warmer skin tone, compared to his OG manga version. Xanxus' design literally looks better with darker skin, because it harmonizes against the black and red colours in his design.

Me: I visited Hạ Long Bay when I was a kid (my family and I went on a huge vacation all over Vietnam when I was 6 ~ 7)

YEA Selena is genuinely a good person. She's a sweetie, but she does have an unhinged side when it comes to her work. Which is a nice contrast to the rest of the Varia

C: Very true. Since outside of her job, Selena is legit nice af lmao

Oh yeah and the Varia are probably all chilling in Viet clothes while on their vacation

Me: Ngl a part of me wants to visit Vietnam again someday... I feel a higher cultural connection to VN culture than most of the younger gen in my family does and the tourist attractions are WAY more exciting than here.

There were even elephant riding tourist attractions and the elephants were nice! And ladders that'd lead to wooden houses (tourist attractions). And a bunch of caverns and such

Brief Blurb: MC catches Lucifer crying while he’s drunk.

It had been about six hours since you last saw Lucifer, and he hadn’t answered any texts. This wasn’t really unusual since he liked to work himself to death, but you didn’t want to go to bed by yourself again. You missed him snuggling you to sleep, and you swore he didn’t even come to bed last night. With a sigh, you got out of the warmth of the sheets and walked a couple rooms over towards his office. You raised your hand to knock, but froze when you heard a muffled sob.

No one else would be in Lucifer’s office this late, so you knew it had to be him… but you hadn’t really heard him cry before. It wasn’t a pleasant sound, and it made your heart break a little. You didn’t bother to knock, instead opening the door slowly enough that he would notice your presence. “Luci?”

When he didn’t answer, you opened the door fully to examine him. He was sat at his desk, face buried into his hands as sobs wracked through his body. You stepped inside and gently closed the door behind yourself, but didn’t come any closer. There was a bottle of demonus on the desk, and an empty one laying on the floor. You weren’t sure what to do, a little frightened by the situation. You’d never seen him cry before, or completely drunk like this.

You approached him cautiously, feeling a little guilty for treating him like a wild animal. When he still didn’t say anything or move away, you pulled the chair across from him to his side and sat down. “Lucifer, what’s wrong?” you asked gently, pushing some hair out of his face.

“Th-They all hate me…”

Despite knowing exactly who he was talking about, you wanted to make sure. “Who, baby…?”

“M-My brothers…” he muttered. He took a wavering, deep breath, then broke into another harsh sob. “I-I mean… Satan isn’t really my brother… he’s more like a son… but…” Lucifer didn’t dare look at you, keeping his face in his hands as he bawled. “I-I should be used to it. I know they hate me… but I just w-wish they didn’t.”

You carefully ran your fingers through his hair. “Lucifer, I’m sure that isn’t true. They may be a little bit agressive with you, but that’s how it is sometimes with guardians and who they’re caring for.” Lucifer shook his head and wiped his face. “Luci—”

“N-No, they all said they hate me today.” Lucifer sniffled and choked on a sob, attempting to push the tears off of his face. “S-Satan’s the only one who says it regularly, and even wh-when the others say it… it’s… i-it’s not all in one day. I just fucked up s-so much today. I don’t want to keep f-fucking up…” You decided words weren’t going to do much, and rubbed circles on his back instead. “I-I didn’t want to be the avatar of p-pride, or make any of them a lord of s-sin… but… b-but I didn’t know how else to keep them safe…”

Carefully, you pulled him into your arms and allowed him to cry into your chest. “I’ve got you…”

“I-I miss Lilith…” he muttered through his weeping. “I-I miss S-Simeon and Raphael… I miss giving my siblings hugs… I-I miss Satan hugging me… I m-miss… I-I miss…” he trailed off, opting to cry harder instead of speak more. You ran a hand through his hair and hummed to him, hoping it would help him calm down. After a while, he mumbled, “I-I just… I don’t understand why they fell with me… th-they could have stayed…”

“Lucifer…” you cooed, pausing to kiss his temple. “If they chose to fight and fall with you, doesn’t that mean they love you?”

He sniffled and pressed his forehead closer to your neck. “N-Not anymore…”

You hushed him softly and brushed his hair with your fingers still. It seemed to be soothing him ever so slightly. “Lucifer, would they stay in the House of Lamentation with you if they didn’t love you?”

“I-I don’t know…” he whimpered, hiding in you. “I just want them to know I love them…”

Sighing, you shushed him and kissed his hair. “I’m sure they know.”

Brief Blurb: Mammon wants to be with MC forever and is thinking about ways to accomplish it.

It was fairly cold in the human world, and Mammon was not at all affected as he walked you down the street. “Why do I have ta wear these warm clothes? It’s not even that cold out.” You sighed and facepalmed with your spare hand, very tired of this complaint. “I mean, look, I know some humans think it’s weird when people walk around in tank tops and shorts for cold weather, but I’m sweatin’ my ass off.” He huffed, then stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, which you quickly corrected by pulling him off to the side.

“Mammon, babe,” you told him, “firstly, don’t stop in the middle of the sidewalk in the city. You should know that.”

“Oh…”

It was difficult to stay frustrated with him when he flustered and made his cute, embarrassed grin. “Secondly… it’s supposed to get really cold. I know you’re naturally a lot warmer since you’re a fallen angel, but odd looks are best avoided in the human world.”

“Ya say that like I haven’t ever been to it on my own…” he mumbled, fumbling with your hand.

Sighing, you watched him use your hand as a stim toy. “You’re right, I’m sorry.” You pulled him closer, then stood on your tip toes to kiss him. “I know you’ve been here millions of times without me. I just worry about you.”

Scoffing and biting back a smile, Mammon cupped your jaw. “Ya don’t have anything to worry about, darlin’. I’m a demon, remember?” You nodded, leaning into his touch slightly. “I… appreciate ya worryin’, though,” he admitted quietly, face flushing red.

“I just…” you sighed and closed your eyes. “I get really scared about drawing too much attention to ourselves.”

“Babe,” he chuckled and ran his fingers through your hair. “There ain’t a thing to worry about. I’m a big, scary demon. I don’t even have to go into demon form to frighten a human, y’know?”

Your face fell a little. “Yeah…”

“_____…? Why the long face?”

“Nothing,” you told him, averting your gaze a little. “Let’s get going, the store might close if we don’t hurry.”

“Shit, yeah.” Mammon pulled you back into the foot traffic, keeping you close to himself. Once you two managed to step into the store, you both pulled your face masks up. You then took his jacket off of his shoulders and draped it over an arm. “Thanks, babe…” he muttered shyly.

Despite taking the jacket off, you could tell he was still entirely too warm from the store’s heating. “I’m sorry, you’re probably miserable from the warmth.”

“It’s fine, don’t worry, _____.” He smiled, and despite only seeing it in his eyes, you felt relief wash over you. “Let’s get a cart.”

“No, we’ll buy too much if we get a cart.” You ignored his pout as you picked up a shopping basket. “This is my money, Mammon.”

“I-I know…” he mumbled, taking the basket from you before grasping your hand once more. “I’m sorry.”

“I never said you needed to be sorry,” you reassured him softly. “I’m not upset.”

You led him to the produce section, then reluctantly let go of his hand to inspect the various fruits and vegetables. “Why’re ya squeezin’ that thing?”

“To make sure it’s a good one.”

After processing what you said, he furrowed his eyebrows and stared intensely at some of the fruit in front of him. He seemed puzzled, and you couldn’t help but giggle. “Do you not check if produce is good before you buy it, babe?”

“W-Well… Lucif—…” he stopped himself, glancing around with only his eyes before continuing. “Luci never really has me buy the groceries, and when I tag along I don’t really pay much attention to whoever is actually doing the shoppin’. I just kinda help carry stuff.”

Literally writing this because this is what I do. As a transmasc person who really likes to paint their nails, it makes me feel more comfortable to match the obey me babes lol. I’m sad Simeon, Solomon, and Raphael don’t have painted nails (unless it’s a like… demon culture thing??? Idk. Also Barbatos’ shade of purple is fuckin’ whack I can’t seem to find any that are almost exact like I did with Luci, Asmo, Dia, and Belphie.) I don’t think we’ve seen Mephisto’s nails so he isn’t in this. Thirteen is though!

Sleepless Night

Trigger/content warnings: mental illness depictions, allusion to suicidal ideation if you squint.

Headcanons/notes from the author: this takes place during season 1 when Cinna only has a pact with Mammon so far. I wrote this when I was being kept awake by looping thoughts shskdhdkd it’s all good now though. Also all my (MC) Cinna angst or hurt are being switched to not rebloggable for now, especially since I tend to forget I don’t necessarily want these ones promoted very much and add the reblog divider habitually then have to remove it sigh…

Brief Blurb: Cinna visits Mammon at night when they can’t sleep because of bad thoughts.

It was quite late, and Mammon had been curled up in bed trying to sleep for hours. Something felt wrong, but he had no idea what it was. Sighing, he sat up again and habitually ram his fingers through his hair, forgetting they were curly again after his shower earlier. He tugged on a few curls and grunted with annoyance before rolling his eyes, then wrapping a few strands around his finger. He uncurled and recurled the strands around his finger as he pondered what could possibly be off.

Nothing should be disturbing him. He shouldn’t be so on edge. Maybe he should check around the house? Lucifer always does that, though, so surely he would have taken care of anything gone awry? Slowly, Mammon got up out of bed and put on some boxers before sitting on his couch. He glanced out the window, knowing it would be pitch black. After a moment of consideration, he picked up a magazine and flipped through it. Tiredness stung at his eyes, but he was restless.

Suddenly, the door creaked open and he instantly gazed at it. To his surprise, the human exchange student had peeked inside, hair covering their face and hoodie over their head. “Oi, Cinna… what’re ya doin’ up? Dontcha know Lucifer will get irritated if you’re outta bed right now?”

“S-Sorry…”

Mammon instantly set the magazine down and hurried to the human, grabbing their hand, not letting them leave. He had never heard them so upset before. “Cinna? H-Hey, uh…”

“N-No, I’ll go back to my room…” their voice was creaking with every syllable. “Sorry…”

“Woah, no, I’m sorry…” Mammon’s voice dropped to a mumble towards the end, feeling weird saying the words. Carefully, he pulled them inside and lead them to his bed, sitting them down. “One sec. Stay there.” He quickly threw on some lounge pants and a sweatshirt, then sat on the edge of the bed with them. “Okay… are ya…” He drifted off, knowing they were definitely not alright if they were apologizing as much as they had already. “What’s wrong?”

Cinna sniffled and shrugged. “Didn’t wanna be alone…”

“Okay…” Mammon took a deep breath, resisting the urge to interrogate them. “Is it… uh…” He but his lip and sighed. “Do you wanna tell me why?”

They shook their head, then wiped their face, but the tears kept falling. “J-Just… couldn’t…”

“Okay…” Mammon cautiously wrapped his arms around them, waiting for them to pull away if they wanted. When they didn’t, he squished them close to himself and pet their hair, careful not to pull on any curls or tangles. “Can’t go to Asmo?”

They let out a weak sob. “I-I can’t stand him right now…”

“Why not…?” he inquired quietly. “I thought ya liked Asmo.”

“I-I do… I just…” Cinna took a deep, shaking breath, then mumbled, “I think he hates me…”

Mammon rubbed their back and gave them a small squeeze. “Asmo ain’t really one to hate people; ‘specially couldn’t hate you.” He carefully pulled them into his lap and kissed their hair. “You’re overthinkin’.”

“I-I know…” they mumbled, beginning to cry. “M-My head won’t shut up… I’m sorry… I should have just w-waited it out…”

“No, don’t be sorry…”

“B-But I’m bothering you…” Cinna mumbled. “I’m bothering all of you. I sh-should just… go away…”

Mammon furrowed his eyebrows, but opted to not follow their train of thought and instead direct it elsewhere. “That ain’t true. Whatever your head is sayin’ is full of shit.” He watched them curl into his chest, and his heart twisted. They trusted him, but was he even helping? “It’s just your head doin’ the thing it does. It ain’t real. Nothin’ your head says is real sometimes, y’know?” He wasn’t sure what he was saying anymore, but it seemed to be soothing Cinna. “It’s just an episode. It’ll pass. You’ll feel silly later for even worryin’ about it.”

Cinna snorted, then weakly giggled. “That doesn’t automatically make you right.”

Face a bit hot from embarrassment, Mammon mumbled, “W-W’ll… no…” He scoffed and nuzzled them. “I try my best though.”

“I-I know…” Cinna sniffled. “I-I’m still sorry, though…”

“If ya have to be, then go ahead. I ain’t gonna stop you.” Mammon chuckled and wiped their face. “Everything’s pretty difficult for you, bein’ a human ‘n’ all. So, y’know… even if I ain’t stoppin’ ya, being sorry does nothin’. Not for this.”

I just realized that Barbatos, Dia, Satan, and Mephisto probably couldn’t have freckles because they are never in sunlight… sobs… we don’t know a lot about whatever plane of existence Thirteen is in but under the assumption she also doesn’t get sunlight then like… *cries*

I’ve actually had a fic about Barbatos’ nickname/pet name specifically on my to do list but I’ve been unable to do it haha so here’s a list

Cinna and Lucifer:

Cinna sometimes calls him “Luci”, and that’s about it. Mostly because they heard Simeon do it, but it’s also cute and makes him irritated flustered haha.

I feel like Lucifer would want to give them a nickname but then feel like their name is too short (and not realize for a while that pet names don’t have to involve the original name). Probably calls them “Troublemaker” after a while though.

Cinna and Mammon:

Cinna will call him “Mams” or “Mammoney”. Sometimes “Mon-Mon” will also slip out. They usually don’t shorten his name unless they’re particularly taken over by wanting to cute-ify everything they say or they’ve age regressed haha. They’ve also called him “beautiful thief” once or twice.

Honestly I feel like Mammon would just continue to call them “human” but in an endearing way. “Silly human”, “small human”, etc.

Cinna and Leviathan:

Cinna calls him “Levi” and usually doesn’t really say anything else except for his full name haha.

I don’t think Cinna would really like being called anything Levi would come up with… sorry Levi…

Cinna and Satan:

Cinna calls Satan “Stn” (like his Devilgram handle haha) and “kitten” or “kitty”. He has not stopped getting flustered by it even though it’s usually in innocent context.

Satan ALSO calls Cinna “kitten”. They are exclusively each other’s “kitten”.

Cinna and Asmodeus:

This is probably obvious from my posts and tags already but Cinna has multiple nicknames for Asmodeus. They do like to say his full name a lot too, though. “Asmo”, “Azzy”, “the Azter”, “pretty”, “honey”…

Asmodeus mostly sticks with things like “hon” or “sweetkins”, but also was the one who called Cinna “prince” originally and everyone else began to do it as well pff. It’s mostly when Cinna’s regressed but they do like it outside of headspace as well.

Cinna and Beelzebub:

Cinna likes to say Beelzebub’s full name a lot because it feels nice haha, but they will call him “Beel”. “Bub” and “Bubba” are usually reserved for when they’re regressed.

I don’t think Beel would bother calling Cinna anything besides their name haha.

Cinna and Belphegor:

Cinna doesn’t really talk to him a lot but they do call him “Belphie” or “Bel” if they’re not feeling particularly irritated with his existence.

Belphegor probably tried to call them something and got pact ordered not to shskdhdk.

Cinna and Lord Diavolo:

Cinna calls him “Dia” when Lucifer isn’t around to reprimand them. Barbatos used to insist that they shouldn’t but he gave up after a while, especially since Lord Diavolo enjoys it so much.

Lord Diavolo probably just piggybacks nicknames (not shaming!) and will keep whichever ones he likes most. Stole “Na na” from Simeon and “prince” from Asmodeus haha.

Cinna and Barbatos:

I think Barbatos having many nicknames is also evident if you follow me shskdhdkdj. “Toto” and “little soot sprite” are the most common ones, but they also call him “Batos” and “Barbs” every once in a while. (I’ve been actively trying to not steal the nickname “Tosie” from Lance haha I think it’s super cute.) They will also just call him “pretty” or “gorgeous”.

Barbatos probably doesn’t have many nicknames/pet names for Cinna honestly, but he does call them “bunny” and did adopt “prince” after a while. He tends to call them “darling” and “precious” as well.

Cinna and Simeon:

Cinna usually calls him by his full name, but sometimes will say “Sim” or “Sim-Sim”. Will also fuck around and call him “Mister Peugeot”. Also calls him “darling”, “handsome”, “gorgeous”, “pretty” and “lovely”.

Simeon calls Cinna “Na na” (I stole this from the drabble Oji sent me in my ask box once. I’m not sure if it was intended as a nickname or him saying “nah, nah” but it was cute so I took it). He also calls them “lovely” and “darling” as well.

Cinna and Solomon:

Cinna usually just says his full name but they’ll also call him “Sol”. They will also call him “skrunkley”.

Solomon usually calls them by their name, but will also adopt nicknames from Asmodeus haha.

Cinna and Mephistopheles:

Cinna usually calls him “Mephisto” or “Mephi” if they aren’t saying his full name.

Mephistopheles doesn’t have any nice nicknames for them (for now).

Cinna and Raphael:

Cinna calls Raphael by his name most of the time. They’ll also call him “little meow meow”.

Raphael calls them by their name haha. (For now.)

Trigger/content warnings: threats (taken directly from lesson 8), trauma/anxiety-induced panic attack, allusion to casual sex between Asmodeus and Cinna towards the end

Headcanons/notes from the author: Cinna and Asmodeus’ relationship is definitely the rockiest of all their boyfriends just because of how it started out. Also made Cinna anxious about confessing to Simeon and Barbatos later on because of the impression it could make lmao.

Brief Blurb: The ball during the castle retreat in lesson 8, as in Cinna’s timeline.

Cinna’s anxiety instantly heightened when guests from across the Devildom appeared out of thin air. They only half understood Diavolo’s well wishes as they gazed down at their clothes, feeling underdressed. “Yo, Cinna…” They looked to Mammon, who was clearly flustered as he tried to excuse his way into dancing with them.

“Mammon, why not just admit that you want to dance with Cinna?” Satan asked, a smirk spreading across his face.

“You’re such a loser! And a total—!”

“I’d love to dance with Mammon,” Cinna interrupted, clamping their teeth down to avoid lashing out at Leviathan. “He’s my guardian demon, after all.” They watched Mammon’s eyes light up and giggled, holding out their hand to him.

Just as Mammon was about to take it, Lucifer did so instead. “Cinna, come dance with me. Now.”

The enby tensed, mouth refusing to open and eyes wide. “Lucifer, that ain’t fair! I got them first!”

Ignoring Mammon, Lucifer pulled Cinna elsewhere. “Do you know how to dance?” They nodded, still unable to will themself to speak. “Wonderful. Then I don’t have to bother explaining things.”

He assumed the leading position, instantly making Cinna’s skin crawl when he laid one of his hands on their waist. A sadistic smirk spread across his face at their trembling form. The hand he had stolen from Mammon remained held as Cinna unsurely put their spare one on his shoulder. He knew they were uncomfortable with him; it would make threatening them easy.

“In general, there are all sorts of reasons why one might ask someone to dance.” Lucifer lead their steps, watching Cinna’s face as he kept his voice just loud enough for them to hear over the ambience. “For example, they might be interested in them, they might want to touch them,” he watched them visibly cringe at him perhaps having such motivation, “or they might simply be doing it out of politeness.”

Cinna nodded, averting their gaze from his face to anywhere else. They knew he was listing things that were not aligned with his own intentions. “M-Mmhm…”

“Or it could be because they want to have a private conversation.” Lucifer stole a glance sideways to warn Mammon to stay put, then began to dig his fingertips into Cinna’s side when they attempted to squirm away. “Look at me when I speak with you.”

They did so, entire body violently shaking. His face was too close. He was speaking too much like him…

“What is it you are plotting with Asmodeus?”

Cinna felt their blood run cold, head grow loud… What did he think they were doing? What did he know? Why was he so close to their face? Is he going to scream at them?

Lucifer took their silence as a confession, and a dark chuckle escaped his lips. “I respect my brothers' freedom to do as they wish. However, if I ever sense that you've become threat to either Diavolo or us…” he brought his face ever closer, making tears spout from Cinna’s eyes and roll down their cheeks, “… then I will show you absolutely no mercy. Understood?”

Cinna could tell his grip tightening on their hand, causing sharp, but grounding, pain. Still, they attempted to thrash, beginning to hyperventilate when he insisted on keeping them in his hold. “S-Stop…”

“Oi, what the hell are ya doin’?” Mammon butted in, resting a hand on Cinna’s shoulder. “You’re gonna hurt ‘em.”

Lucifer’s eyes went wide when Mammon pried him off of Cinna. He watched his younger brother protectively hold Cinna to his chest and shield him with his wings. Clearly, Mammon had began to take his role as guardian of the human exchange student seriously. “I was merely reminding them of something.”

Not wanting to lose his temper, Mammon inhaled deeply, then released it and glanced at Cinna before shooting a glare at Lucifer. “Whatever. They wanted t’ dance with me, so it’s my turn. Song’s over.” He watched Lucifer leave, then carefully guided Cinna across the ballroom and out a door to the garden. “Cinna…?”

“I-I’m sorry…” they buried their face into his chest. “H-He just… it freaks me out…”

“O-Okay, slow down…” Mammon mumbled, carefully petting their hair. “Jus’ tell me what I can do to help.” Cinna shook their head and hid in him, hyperventilating and sobbing. At a loss, Mammon simply continued to pet them and keep watch for anyone that may attempt to disrupt them. “I… dunno what you were talkin’ about, but Lucifer was seriously in the wrong there, okay? Ya ain’t doin’ anything to be in trouble. I dunno what his problem is.”

Cinna nodded and buried themself deeper into him, or at least attempted to. There wasn’t really anything else their mind wanted but to be comforted. Thoughts were jumbled and out of order, memories from when they were younger mixing into the present… “S-Sorry…”

“Don’t be sorry, Cinna.” Mammon rubbed their shoulders. “Ya just gotta stop hyperventilating, okay? Slow down…”

Cinna attempted to do as he said, forcing their breathing to even out. “Th-Thank you…”

“What’s going on here…?” The two gazed at Solomon, who had wandered into the garden. “I was looking for Cinna, and Asmodeus said you two went out here.”

“Whaddya want, ya shady wizard?”

“Be nice, M-Mammon…” Cinna mumbled, closing their eyes for a moment before straightening up and rubbing their tears away. “He isn’t shady.”

Rolling his eyes, Mammon petted their hair for a moment before letting them go completely. “We’ll dance later. I’m pissed at Lucifer. Stay with Solomon.”

Cinna nodded and inhaled deeply. “Th-Thank you for dealing with me…”

“It ain’t a huge deal.” Mammon felt his face heat up, but quickly left the humans alone.

Slow and cautious, Solomon approached Cinna, as if they were a wounded animal. “I am assuming Lucifer did something.”

“It’s f-fine,” Cinna mumbled, wiping their face and attempting to calm themself down. Well aware of how stubborn the enby could be, Solomon nodded and kept his hands to himself. “F-Fucking Lucifer…”

“You may have pacts with demons, but you still lack the power to command them,” Solomon muttered, bringing his hand to his chin. “I should have began teaching you to do so sooner, it seems.”

Cinna simply made a weak nod. “Maybe…”

“How about this…” Solomon watched Cinna plop onto the ground and sit cross legged. “I can lend you my pact abilities for Asmodeus for six hours.”

“A-Asmodeus?”

Solomon chuckled and sat on a nearby rock. “Would that be a problem?”

“No!” Cinna snapped, then bit their lip. “I just… he and I… I just…”

“Yes?” Solomon raised an eyebrow at them. “Are you referring to why demons complain about his scent being all over you?”

Cinna’s face immediately heated up. “Oh fuck. Oh fuck no.” They gazed at Solomon with horror in their eyes. “You mean… everyone…”

“Everyone knows about Asmodeus’ new bedbug, yes.”

“Fuck.” Cinna rubbed their face and ran their fingers through their hair. “Fine. Give me six hours.”

This is definitely more from Lucifer’s perspective. In-game he definitely doesn’t like to be vulnerable, which is an issue between him and Cinna (a huge issue, frankly). He gets better with each season so I suppose this would be the aspect of him showing affection more clearly over time.

Heart Attack - Demi Lovato

Definitely from Mammon’s perspective lmao. Mammon is a tsundere with MC in-game but has been described as basically a sex god in the past so he clearly only acts ridiculous when he likes someone (and has conflicting feelings) like he seems to in game. He wants to impress them, but kind of makes a fool of himself in the process quite often. Denying his feelings (whether because that’s just how he processes romantic feelings or because of fear of another Lilith-like event) is his go-to, though he is well aware he is in love. He wants Cinna to say something first, but they don’t fall in love nearly as fast as he does. Mammon’s frustration is real. (Sorry Mammon.)

Malfunction - Steam Powered Giraffe

There’s literally no escaping anxiety for either of these two, but as Cinna is better learning to take care of themself, Levi is being taken into this as well (this goes for Barbatos and Asmodeus too, frankly, but this section isn’t about them). Cinna won’t let Levi get away with negative self-talk, and they expect him to call them out when they slip up as well. Accepting their own issues is key here, and Cinna is dragging Levi kicking and screaming if they have to at a certain point tbh.

Home - Cavetown

Both perspectives, I think. Satan and Cinna bond a lot after Cinna learns to adjust to his wrath, and Cinna confides in him about their mental illness/trauma, gender dysphoria, and feeling broken before anyone else. They both share conflicting feelings towards Lucifer, and have identity issues (for different reasons of course). Of course, they also share a love of literature and cats (and vengeance). They feel they can rely on each other, even if at first Cinna is a bit on edge with Satan. It’s a bit surprising (or perhaps not) that Asmodeus was the first to be romantically involved with Cinna.

Boys Like You - Dodie

This is from both sides. Asmodeus definitely would believe Cinna is only interested because of his status of avatar of lust, and Cinna definitely would think Asmodeus is only interested because they’re an easy target (in the beginning of their relationship). They would be sexually involved first before Cinna ends up realizing they actually like Asmodeus romantically. It’s especially a slow burn romantically since sexual and romantic attraction aren’t necessarily related for either of them (plus it seems like Asmodeus isn’t even used to someone being genuinely interested in him).

From Diavolo’s perspective. By season 3, Cinna doesn’t really have any romantic interest in him at all, so his confession is… rejected, unfortunately. Dia is constantly watching them be involved with others, even his butler, but they won’t give him that kind of love. Of course, Cinna wants to be his friend, so there’s that!

Dasher - Gerard Way (feat. Lydia Night)

Both sides but mostly from Barbatos’ perspective. Wanting attention, wanting the love that Cinna seems to have, but unable to get himself to grasp it (at first). They definitely are slow burn altogether since Cinna gets super nervous about Barbatos, and Barbatos isn’t sure how Cinna feels. They both think about each other a lot until they end up actually addressing their feelings for each other, which ends up becoming an improvement for both of them.

Stiff Kittens - Blaqk Audio

This is kinda weird tbh…? It’s like a push and pull of both perspectives. Lesson 16 and lesson 38 (& 75) make them both change for better or worse, and as time goes on they feel different but intertwined with each other all the same. They become closer through their respective hurdles and have in some ways abandoned their expectations given by each other as well as those surrounding them. Their love remains despite it all.

Both perspectives…? Probably more Solomon. They both end up closer because they’re humans, but also Cinna becoming Solomon’s apprentice. With the fact that Cinna is mortal (for now…), Solomon has to accept they are temporary in his life. He feels happier having someone in his life for genuine companionship, and Cinna loves his company. Solomon’s romantic feelings are on the back burner because of Cinna’s mortality (and apparent lack of romantic interest in him).

They probably really piss off each other at first, not gonna lie. His pride is somehow not worse than Lucifer’s but it’s a whole different kind of pride and it makes Cinna fucking apeshit. They get to know him better and eventually start to like him quite a bit, but Mephisto seems indifferent towards them at best.

I really wanted to keep them all with lyrics but honestly I think this fits Raphael and Cinna well. Raphael slowly letting Cinna in, getting comfortable with them, and eventually they’re romantically involved (probably past season 4). Bonding over small things and admiring each other in small ways until it’s possibly something more.

I literally had to rely on the scraps of Thirteen they gave us in season four and my headcanons for this decision. She had the least amount of screentime of the new three ugh. Anyways, I feel like this fits Cinna and Thirteen! Thirteen is a bit sassy and always making traps and trying to kill Solomon. Cinna frankly just finds her interesting honestly. They might get involved at some point but in-game stuff isn’t helping a lot here.
