As the large wild stranger took a step forward my muscles tensed all ready to bolt either down the mazes of hallways and cells or through the window but I stayed put seeing as he did the same. Putting my hands to my sides I tried to keep myself under control but my thumb rubbed on the handle of my knife, I just wanted to be cautious.

The louder growl and breathing from being the black creepy gas mask made a shiver run down my spine, it was so animalistic... maybe he couldn't talk, or didn't want to.

I could tell he was intrigued by the head tilt which was definitely eery but in a way sort of cute, like a dog.

"I, uh, ok..." I stumble on what to say for a moment before continuing" C-can you speak?... I- I don't want to run or harm you. I just want to go back to my truck." I speak clearly, my voice echoing through the decaying building.

Primal eyes watched from behind dark lenses as her hand was inching close to the knife on her hip, tendons under gloved hand twitching, his nose scrunched from behind the mask... If he didn't had the mask on the look on his face would resemble that of a dangerous animal was was being cornered which was ironic because he was the one who was gonna corner her.

Her question almost made him snort. He hadn't talked in years and even if he tried the sounds would be in vain, only animalistic ones would leave his lips.

Slowly, he stalked towards her, avoiding the trip wire, his broad dark form just inches away from hers, stopping in front of the woman.

She didn't wanted to run or harm him. That was good but it also made him amused... Harm him? As if... He couldn’t feel pain... Pain only fullfilled the desire to hunt and rip skin and flesh.

Being now so close to her, he could smell her, even with the gas mask on... All his senses got stronger... Instincts and such... He was the perfect epitome of an animal trapped into a human mans body.

Taking a deep breath, her scent hit his senses.... Cinamoon with vanilla... And the faint tints of bergamont.... Sweet but spicy.

It made his back muscels tense, his mouth salivating, a low growl leaving him but not in a warning way.... In appreciation... So different from the smell of decay, metal, leather and mud.

Different instincts started to overtake his body.... As strong as the ones for hunting and killing.
