Stuff I do from my probably not healthy childhood

I rarely clean. My mother was and is a neat freak, and she'd yell a lot if something wasn't in place. Thus, a feeling of total relaxation when she is not around

Zero self preservation. Up until age 12 I wouldn't do stuff if it was dangerous. Nowadays, I am rather reckless, and don't mind getting dirty or lighting things on fire

I am very good at hiding emotions. I can go into public, and literally cannot stop smiling because I would always put on a fake smile to make sure no one bothered me. If you tip your hat, or say "morning!" they are less likely to be suspicious.

along with the emotion facade, I can look exasperated on point.

I am scared of what's in the dark. I feel like someone's following me, and because my parents would fight at night, I am scared of any and all nighttime noises.

I talk to the moon. I just need someone to talk to, and I don't trust therapists.

I can sometimes be very maternal, because no one was too compassionate to me. I can also be overprotective, but I cannot give any sort of advice without messing something up.

I get along better with kids who are, like, 7,8, and 9, because they tell you the whole truth and typically aren't too judgy and mean. Teenagers are.
