Got up early and got the bus into town to look around the garden I’m doing a project on, took lots of photos on my cameras, finished a roll of film, had a lovely coffee in a wee cafe (which was blissfully cosy because my hands were completely numb from cold at this point), wandered up to the film development place, handed in the two rolls of film I had, and then got the bus home which came conveniently barely three minutes after I left the film shop :)

every day I get more and more tempted to take up smoking

june wears charlie as a work scent and rive gauche on outings. she's not totally partial to aldehydes because they can get headachey but she's fine with walking through a single spritz and calling it a day. if she's visiting a hospital setting rather than her working office, she foregoes perfumes and hairsprays in general out of respect for sensitive patients. her most beloved and associated notes are vetiver, leafy geranium and its petals, realistic florals that stray from the average rose. ( -- as opposed to synthetic and fantasy notes meant to be reminiscent of the flower in question, which can be powdery and hard to place - a nod to her groundedness ).

andy probably dabs on jovan musk around the neck when he wants to impress but the core notes i associate with him are cut tobacco leaf, boozy-honey and barrel wood, syrupy red wine vinegar (like the wine-dipped slims he likes), a hint of pepper. realistically he probably smells like a sweaty humidor, for better or worse
