Working hard on research and editing at a local Starbucks. I visit here once a week when my partner takes the kids all day so I can try and catch up on work. chicago for the band thing!

Am I a fan?: Yeah! They’re my favorite band!

First Song I Heard By Them?: Hmm, probably “Movin’ In” since it’s the first song on Chicago II and that’s THE album that I was first introduced to by my dad when I was six years old. The first song I immediately fell in love with though was “25 or 6 to 4″ I was so mesmerized by it. And I asked my dad to play it over and over again. (Sorry for the long answer. I got excited getting to talk about it.)

Favorite Song?: “Fancy Colours”, “A Hit by Varèse”, “Listen”, “Poem For The People”, “Mother”, “25 or 6 to 4″, “Beginnings”, “Questions 67 & 68″, and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?” are some of my favorite songs! I can’t choose only one! I love so many of them!

Seen them Live?: Yes! I’ve seen them live four times! And I was supposed to see them again this August, but it was rescheduled for next July.

Favorite Member?: Robert Lamm!

Record Player: Love songs or breakup songs?

Love songs for sure!! Though I do like classic rock breakup songs that go something like "I was an asshole and now she left me, oh woe is me". Gives a "yeah, that's what you deserved, dude" kinda satisfaction.

Brown Sugar: What is making your heart warm today?

I haven't even gotten up yet today, but my man is sleeping by my side and that always warms my heart.

Velvet: What is your style?

Just really casual, I wear the same clothes my mom bought for me years ago. I just don't like spending money on something like clothes. Sometimes I end up looking like some biker chick, at other times I'm like a bit of a hippie.
