Sebastian is the father of the nun's son? Please, for the most sacred thing, tell me this is a lie. So, when Ciel reaches adulthood, can Sebastian assume a feminine form and produce a son for the earl? We need the Phantomhive bloodline to continue, because I really don't know if Elizabeth will be with any of the twins in the end
Whaaat....? =.=
Dear anon, you seem to have seen the anime, but also been at least quite up to date with the manga? In the manga there was no nun, and in the anime the nun was never mentioned to have a child. Or in the very least definitely not with Sebas. Itâs probably the fandom theorising and presenting their ideas as facts again, as this fandom is so prone to doing.
As to whether Sebastian could or could not procreate; that depends on whether he understands chromosomes, genetic codes etc. etc. (Click here for more on Sebastianâs Anatomy.) Sebas does not have a human body that functions naturally; he just conjured one from his goop. But even if Sebas does understand genetics to the point of it being compatible with humans, why would he bother generating genetic codes in the first place? We have seen throughout the entire manga that Sebas is either indifferent towards humans, or specifically views us as cattle/faceless grasshoppers. When was the last time any human felt like procreating with grasshoppers and started testing? So why would a demon like Sebas feel like procreating with humans and prepare his conjuration for this purpose? Plenty real humans are infertile, so making a fertile human body doesnât make him more âpassingâ.
If itâs for the sake of ensuring the continuation of the Phantomhive bloodline, I think literal throngs of ladies would be queuing to do the job. Marrying into an influential and fabulously wealthy earldom would have sounded really appealing to most women in the 19th century.
Please, the manga and the anime are NOT the same story; they are in fact mutually exclusive!
To people who like theorising or analysing, stop using cross-media evidence to back up your own theories. Choose ONE media format of Kuroshitsuji and stick to it. But do bear in mind that only the manga and Yanaâs tweets are canon, (and by extent Furukawaâs interpretation as heâs been declared above canon. But whether you yourself accept this is optional.)
You can have anime-only theories and have fun with them. Go wild with Live-action-only theories. Itâs legit to enjoy all of that. But donât use cross-media materials to back up theories the source media of your choice canât provide for.
For example, letâs say you want to theorise/prove that 1. Sebastian has âone demon formâ, and 2. that there are two Phantomhive boys. You canât say that both these theories are simultaneously valid by going: 1. âin the finale of season 1 Sebastian reverts back to his demon form saying it is his âactual true formâ,â and ALSO point at the manga doing: 2. âsee, two babies. Ciel has a twin.â
Then either the anime contradicts your theory in showing that thereâs only one Phantomhive child, or the manga contradicts your statement by having shown a whole goop-zoo spectacle thatâs Sebasâ âtrue forms (pl.)â. Using cross-media evidences to prove your own theory is called cherry-picking.
Note: I am only talking about theorising and analysing here. If itâs a fan-fic or such purposes, just go have fun with whatever suits your taste best! ^^
