Finally got around to finishing these cosplays based off an amazing fanfic called Dazai and the Moving Detective Agency by forest_raccoon or @sensitiveheartless.

So we talked about many difrent au's, did we not? But You know one that can't posibily fail us? One where You are like Howl from Howls moving castle.

Howl is a wizard known for his famous spells, strong magic, wit and for being well known in the ladies world

So what if You had his personality and overall magical qualities

A Christmas special

You were driving him mad with your personality that let's out so much but nothing at the same time.

He hated You so much he loved You. So much he grew obsessed with your very own being.

You were difrent, a witch of some sorts that made him so angry.

You were so arogant and pridefull, so ready to just flick your wrist and float away from him.

Clearly You knew he didn't have the very best intensions, but You never voiced it. It didn't seem like You treated him difrent from the others either. He could've sworn that You didn't know anything, but when a younger fan decided to come out to You, he saw the protective hand You put over the child when he came on sight.

You knew, You knew more about him then he could even comprehand You did, You could be a threat to his plans. In his eyes, You were an impure being that played with things God has forbiden humans from ever doing

He even went to confront You in that weird abomination You called Your castle. You let him in while working on God knows what and he got a look around... It doesn't seem that bad...

When he tried to argue, You gave back witty responses which annoyed him teribly but what caught his attention was an answear You gave about leaving soon to continue your search for someone You met in the past.

He was fuming, he put on a happy act that You didn't buy, but didn't care enough to question him either.

There's no way in hell he would ever let You leave him for another, no way in hell.

So he come up with a plan, he helped You find that person but in return You craft a ring that can block all magic for him.

Now, theoretically he did help You find them, but before You could run to them, he shot them, straight to the heart, the perfect shot.

You feel to your knees in anguish as You knew You couldn't do anything. He was phisically stronger and magic couldn't help You if he wore that ring.

The maniac crounched down next to You and took your hand in his while shussing your cries. He pulled out a ring that looked the same as the magic ring You crafted and put it on your finger before kissing your hand with a deranged smile

"You see my love? How pathetic they were? How foolish of You to try and find them when i am all You need, right in front of You"

Hi yes, so I binge read a bsd x howl’s moving castle au made by this lovely tumblr user named @sensitiveheartless and lemme say when that shit SNATCHED ME BY THE FUCKING HEART-

(Also I’ve never seen Howl’s Moving Castle, so I’m going off jack shit NOTHING here, but I can already tell hmc was a masterpiece if someone could make such a great au out of it-)

Been having a WEEK — so Howl AU doodle time!

Okay okay you know how there's always a Howl's Moving Castle au for almsot any ship, obviusly icluding skk But you know what I haven't see yet?? The superior au: Soukoku as Book! Howl and Sophie Like come on, I don't really like the film but the book is EVERYTHING to me

I need pathetic wet cat Dazai who owns a guitar he doesn't know how to play, catches a forever cold durig the whole adventure, gifts his heart to a random demon and runs away from a crazy ex girlfriend

I need tired Chuuya who uses his curse as an excuse for finally get a rest and get away from all the work expected from him, I need Chuuya being ANGRY about falling for Dazai in the first place (maybe a twist about being a youngest son condemed to failure)

"I'm going to bed, where I may die" 1'00% dazai vibes when he's sick or being anoying looks like an asshole but then he's a nice guy who offers cheaper prices for mor humble people and taxes higher prices to the rich Dazai and his human family at the other side of the black door that would be Odasaku and the orphans, who are just worried about what is Dazai making with his life out there (Oda would be less cruel than Howl sister but whatever) the kids would LOVE weird uncle Dazai

"I may like you so I'm going to make a dog bite you and throw a bucket into your head and almost posion you" 100% Chuuya, youngest of 3 and, instead of finding his fortune like the youngest should do, he's trapped into his own overworking role, Chuuya who is lonely and protective of his family and of course would rescue Dazai while he curses at him No war, no bird bullshit, no your hair is like starlight or whatever and NO TIME LOOPS I hate that plot

Just two pinning idiots falling in love while anoying the shit out of each otehr as everyone in the castle suffers a lot, I just want them to fall for each other without a find me in the future plot, no Dazai flirtst with Chuuya's once before curse an Chuuya steps on his shoe and runs away Dazai calls Chuuya's hair ugly and then regrets it and he calls him a force of nature and is a pinning idiot

Atsushi would be Michael, Lucy would be Martha (she's not Chuuya's sister here, but a friend of the family) The prince and sulivan i don't care, make him 2 random people like not even the book cares about them

And Lettie can be Kouyou who is away becoming the biggest witch off her time while Verlaine fortune is finding love and moving into a qiet place with his husbanf to be happy while Chuuya refuse to leave the familly shop becuase someone needs to keep it working

Dazai buying a WHOLE FLOWERSHOP AND MOVING THE CASTLE INTO A FLOWER FIELD FOR CHUUYA is far more romantic and charming than the starlight hair thing he's such a simp

started reading a Howl’s Moving Castle AU to ✨~cope~✨ so here’s some Howl Dazai and Chuuya being a badass

!!!! Aaaaaah this is amazing!! I love how you did their hair, it’s gorgeous — oh my gosh and Dazai’s expression — it’s all so good ;; and the background is perfect!! The grass and the lakes and the starsss :’D thank you so much for sharing, this made my day!

After reading chapters 18 and 19 of Dazai and the moving detective agency (written by @sensitiveheartless) in one sitting, I was so inspired to create fanart literally buzzing with energy haha. I had two-ish scenes I wanted to illustrate, but this one ho boy it took me by the collar, the whole reveal was so climatic and perfect, I really loved it a lot ok, it's kinda hard to put into words but lets just say I was making a lot of happy faces at my phone. I was really caught on this line in particular, "And at that one strangled sound, Dazai's head snapped up to stare at him. The present Chuuya, not his younger self." And the build up for this is spectacular too, I was re-reading that section during the sketching process to try and cram as much feeling as I could into it. So do go read it it's such a nice fic.
