Chuuyas arms are beautiful to you, they're not insanely buff and they're not thin, but at a perfect equilibrium. They're decorated with intricate tattoos and beautiful colors, and sometimes small dotted lines left by your teeth or maroon spots formed by your love and passion for each other. You loved feeling them wrap around your torso or waist with him leaning his head against your back, letting all the thoughts in his mind flow from his mouth like a waterfall. Other times, he'd hang his arms over your shoulders, letting you feel his biceps against the nape of your neck, ghosting over the baby hairs on your skin. His arms can carry you too, no matter your weight. If it'd make you feel better, he'd use his ability to help and reassure you that he won't drop you or let you get hurt.

“There we go, darlin', see, I told you I wouldn't let you get hurt. Literally not even the strongest gust of wind could knock me over with you right now, so quit worrying.”

⑅Osamu Dazai⑅

Dazai has such a gorgeous torso, bandaged or not. His skin is soft on contrast to the rough and volatile life he's always lead. The only patches of skin that aren't smooth are the ones that are littered with past scars, whether self inflicted or from other people. When Dazai trusts you enough, he'll ask you to help him take off his bandages before bed, letting your fingers brush over the rigid bumps and sharply inhaling while adjusting to your sweet touch in a new, naked place. He lets you kiss the scars and it helps him feel a little relaxed receiving your acceptance through soft kisses and affection instead of being pitied or shamed for his past. It's not like you encourage it, but you don't waste your breath on lecturing him on why he shouldn't have. It's in the past, so instead you'll offer your support for him now rather than dwelling on what you can't change.

Nikolais thighs could resurrect a dead man, and you couldn't help but feel the same way every time you had your head between or against them. Nikolai loves the harsh feeling of your teeth clamping around his skin, making him gasp and giggle in excitement with a hand on your neck encouraging you to continue. He's got a higher pain tolerance, so if you like to give lovebites, especially on thighs, he's your guy.

Fyodors hands are thin and pale aside from some select spots with higher blood concentration. His nails are bitten down to the quick almost always and his fingers are bony and thin. They rest gently on your hips when you sit on his lap while he types or just relaxes with you, his thumbs rubbing circles into the fabric of either your top or bottoms. Sometimes they'll travel upwards, resting against your midsection and making you shiver from their low temperature. He'd laugh under his breath at your reaction and slide them further up, loving the idea that he has you squirming in his grasp. Otherwise, he'd keep a hand on your thigh, rubbing it out of habit modestly. In public he keeps his hands to himself, but in private his hands have a mind of their own.

“Are they that cold, Moya Lyubov? You'll get used to it eventually, unless you'd like to find your own way to warm my hands up?”

⑅Sigma⑅

Sigmas jawline is so defined and Everytime you look at it, an overwhelming urge to kiss along it bubbles up inside of you. Sigma doesn't dislike it, but he'll act like he does, always squirming and playfully grimacing. Eventually he'll give in though, holding your hand while you pepper soft pecks along his skin. He'll return them all over your cheeks and nose, tickling your skin and making you giggle. You can't help but watch Sigmas fingers trace over his jawline while he's deep in thought about this that and the other, admiring how perfect it looks on him.

His hair is so long and luscious- how could you not want to run your fingers through it while your sleepy boyfriend lays his head in your lap? He loves the feeling of your hands against his scalp, giving soft hums and groans of a relaxed pleasure. My thoughts on Bsd Chapter 114.5

I'm freaking out over Dazai freaking out.

So because the vampire was controlled by Bram and killed Fyodor, it was like if Bram himself killed Fyodor.

Which means that Fyodor can only take over that body.

Honestly I like it better than the if you can make him bleed shit it was being alluded too.

Calling it "The worst possible scenario" is absolutely terrifying.

Love that Dazai's first thought is shit I need to to tell Ranpo, I need to warn everyone.

Reminder that the entire reason Dazai did all of this was to protect the Agency.

I just know he and Ranpo are gonna feel awful knowing they orchastrated the helicopter shit to make this possible.

If somehow Imposter managed to convince BSD Characters that Guiding Light are fake, and they hurt GL, BSD Cast would be horrified, when they learn the truth. They will do everything, to undo their mistake.

They will destroy the Imposter.

Will shower Guiding Light in presents, will do whatever they want. Even return to BSD World and stay there forever, to pay for their crimes.

Will let Guiding Light hurt them, if it will make them feel better.

But, personally, I think, that BSD Imposter SAGAU will be a little bit hard, if not impossible.

And here are my reasons, why

1. Emotions are universal, but not the same.

If Imposter stole GL's phone/ BSD Mayoi account, and start talking to characters through it, they would see, that Little Light changed its color, shape and size.

From "Family love(less). Prologue", where Reader start reading BSD after their relatives read it. Reader are reading the same books.

BSD Cast will know, that Imposter are a different person.

If Imposter get transported into Yokohama and start telling others about Evil Fake, but, Guiding Light stays in real world and continue reading/watching/playing, that will lead to an interesting situation.

Dazai, Chuuya, Atsushi, Sigma and Mori with an S/O who is scared of using their ability

Dazai:

-Dazai had suspicions that you didn't like to use your ability at the start of the relationship, but he didn't really ask. He has met enough people who despised their ability afterall, and he knew better than to pry

-But when you opened up to him deeper into the relationship, Dazai was a bit shocked. Such a powerful ability shouldn't exist, yet it had decided to curse you with it's existence. Definitely keeps a closer eye on you from now on, but it's because he doesn't want you to fall into enemy hands

-He will comfort you and hold you whenever you feel insecure about/hate your ability. Dazai will listen to you vent and rant as much as you want, but afterwards he will tell you how amazing you were and how much he loved you even with or without your ability

-Dazai does try to stay closer to you more often, because if your ability was accidentally activated, he could immediately step in to nullify it for you. Although he is a bit teasing about it sometimes... literally asked you if he could accompany you in the shower because ‘what if an enemy is waiting there?’ Kunikida whacked him so hard with his notebook lmao

-But on a deeper note, Dazai will try to help you feel good about yourself. Encouraging words and praise fall out of his mouth whenever you need it, and he has a way with words. It works every time because you will feel a bit more confident in yourself

-However, if you refused to come to terms with your ability, Dazai wouldn’t force you to accept that it was your power. Afterall, denial is like a drug. But he will try his best to slowly help you come to terms with your power, at least acknowledge that it belonged to you and that you had full control over it

-Dazai will be with you every step of the way, and making sure that you are happy is always his number one priority

Chuuya:

-Chuuya is very loyal; you could tell him every single secret of yours and he would take it to his grave

-He was still very shocked when you told him about your ability. Chuuya tries not to let Mori know too much about it, because he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to you

-But would your ability stop him from loving you and trusting you? No! Chuuya will still love you as much as before, even when he knows that your ability could be the end of Yokohama

-He will teach you martial arts and weapon handling. The Port Mafia has many enemies, and Chuuya doesn’t want you to fall into enemy hands. However, he will assign a few mafioso to protect you when you’re out on the streets (he’s that protective over you)

-Chuuya himself has quite a few insecurities, some which include the other side of his ability, but that doesn’t stop him from comforting you whenever you feel insecure about your ability. He will be a bit blunt, but he’s trying

-If you didn’t want to come to terms with your ability, Chuuya wouldn’t force you. Instead, he would take you out to fun places or breathtaking views so that you could temporarily forget about your power. And even if it doesn’t work, know that he’s always there for you

-He would do anything to make sure that you were happy; even if that meant using Corruption for you

Atsushi:

-Atsushi was really surprised when you told him what your ability was. He’s never met anyone with that powerful of an ability before

-Even though he is surprised, Atsushi is very understanding. I headcanon that sometimes he has these moments where he dislikes/is insecure of his ability, because of the pain that it put him through while he was in the orphanage. So he’s actually very empathetic and genuine when he’s comforting you

-Would probably ask Dazai for some tips on how to control your ability. -Even more protective of you now. Atsushi genuinely worries and fears that you could be kidnapped by an enemy and forced to do something unspeakable with your ability. He tries to be with you whenever he can, and even asks Fukuzawa and Kunikida to teach you self-defence

-Always listens to you and holds you when you need comforting. Atsushi will give you 100 reasons on how great of a person you are, and how much he loved you. He hates seeing you sad, because he’ll then blame himself for not being able to help you when you needed it

-In return, please comfort him when he has his own insecurities too. He’ll appreciate it a lot, and you’re the only person that gets to see him this vulnerable

Sigma:

-Much like Atsushi, he was also very shocked when he found out, but that shock is quickly replaced by worry

-What if Fyodor or Nikolai found out? What if you were kidnapped by an enemy group? Sigma could not bear to even think about what would happen if these possibilities came true. He definitely tries to keep you safe and stays around you a bit more often

-Sigma would be more tender with you, especially when you need comforting. He’ll stroke your back, listen to you, even hug you as he offers words of comfort and encouragement

-I feel like he’d do acts of service for you to show his love for you. So when you wake up, you’d find breakfast already made, clothes already ironed and a drink on the table

-He has insecurities too, but he’d push them aside without a second thought if it he had to comfort you with yours

-Such as ‘It’s okay, Y/N, I’m here for you...’ and ‘I would never leave you, no matter what!’ Sigma tries his best for you to be happy, and he hates how he couldn’t help as much

-But no matter how strong or dangerous your ability was, Sigma would never stop loving you all the same

Mori:

-My favourite Mafia boss wouldn’t really have that much of an outward reaction when he finds out about your ability

-Like Dazai, he’s had his suspicions from the start that you didn’t want to use your ability. Except he indirectly asks you about it further on into the relationship, so as not to upset you or anything

-When he learns that your ability could tear the world to pieces, Mori’s reaction would be just a raise of the eyebrows. He doesn’t say anything as he contemplates the new piece of information in silence, quickly connecting the dots together

-He wouldn’t show it outright, but Mori would protect you even more, whether through his subordinates or through himself. Since he’s the boss of the Port Mafia, a lot of enemies would naturally target you in order to get back at him. So he definitely increases the number of bodyguards that he assigns to protect you

-Mori even teaches you his combat knowledge in case you ever run into danger. And not only would you learn martial arts, you would even know how to immobilize an opponent, poison them and even learn how to fight with scalpels

-Is very very protective over you. While on the surface he might seem calm and calculated, inside he is predicting what could happen to you if you went out that day, and how to prevent any unfortunate incidents from happening. Please give him lots of affection and tell him to stop worrying too much

-Oh but if he catches anybody wanting to use you for your ability, Mori will personally take care of them. His beloved scalpel then comes in handy in these moments...

-He is more of the type to listen and give you advice rather than comfort, however he is perfectly happy to give you a hug in private if that helped you feel better

-Elise would also try her best to comfort you whenever you had insecurities or were feeling down. She would even offer you some of her sweets and those sweets are the best

-As we all know, Mori is a lover of logic. And it’s only logical to him to keep on loving you, regardless of your ability

He calms down after a second and asks her when she started dating her boyfriend lmao

Dazai is a bit hypocritical. He was a playboy once upon a time himself, but he lowkey isn't too thrilled with the idea of his daughter dating yet

He's just not really looking forward to possibly having to tolerate any rebelliousness that comes from his daughter (especially in favour of some random teenager)

He tells your daughter that she needs to be very careful with dating at her age because teenage boys can be cruel and whatever. But he also gives some good advice about infatuation and romance, and how if it doesn't last then it's not her fault, and stuff like that.

He promises to be nice if she decides to introduce him to her boyfriend one day (she had to nag him a little first lmao)

He also promises to deal with her boyfriend accordingly if he ever breaks her heart, which he'd play off as a joke afterwards but like...c'mon.

He'd be alright though, like he'd ask her (nice) questions about him, how did they meet, what's he like etc. because he does actually feel better when he sees that his daughter is happy :)

Dazai is honestly surprisingly chill about the whole thing despite his initial reaction, but he's ready to be less so if necessary

Chuuya:

This man trusts his daughter to carry out assassinations and infiltrate enemy gangs and shit, but teenage boys are different because they're far more evil

He lowkey starts interrogating her about him ("What's his name? Where does he live? What's he like? When did you start dating? What do his parents do?" and so on)

You have to tell him to give her the benefit of the doubt and that he can't just assume her boyfriend is a prick without any evidence

It's not that he thinks that at all, he's just super protective of her (it's ingrained in him, being a mafioso and all) and he knows teenage boys can be wicked sometimes

It's not like he's gonna kill your daughter's boyfriend if he breaks her heart or anything like that, but he'll definitely have a talk with him (talk = like, screaming at him probably)

You'd need to ease his nerves and remind him that you guys were also in the same spot as your daughter and her boyfriend once. When Chuuya thinks of it that way he's more alright with it

He does apologise to her eventually for kinda freaking out at first and reminds her that he respects her autonomy and stuff, but he also says to come straight to him if her boyfriend even looks at her the wrong way lmao

Chuuya was just surprised is all, but he's doing his best <3

Fyodor:

After his outburst, you and your daughter are just looking at him like...this is the first time you've yelled in your whole life

He apologises for it, and tells her that her news just caught him off-guard (and she's just as surprised as you are), and that he's actually happy for her.

He immediately starts looking into this guy and he'll find out everything about him (including blackmail) to make sure he's good enough for his daughter (Fyodor honesty seems to me the type to protect and spoil his kids a ton)

Fyodor is religious, but he's not like 'no premarital sex' religious, so he's not super strict about her dating boys as a teenager on its own

THAT BEING SAID he is so cautious and will definitely be the father who threatens their daughter's girlfriend. You have to tell him that uhh...it's not cool to threaten a teenager

Her boyfriend would probably honestly be too worried to hurt your daughter after meeting Fyodor because...holy shit, imagine having Fyodor as a father-in-law.

If Fyodor does end up approving of her boyfriend, his mind probably immediately goes to the future and grandchildren and stuff omg (he momentarily forgets that they've been dating for what, like a week? AND THEY'RE KIDS FYODOR)

Overall, he's...exactly how you might expect him to be. Calm on the surface but secretly freaking the fuck out about it.

Sigma:

He's SO worried oh my god. He couldn't handle it if some stupid boy broke his daughter's heart

Like he's actually really happy for his girl because she seems to really like her boyfriend, but he can't shake off his worry. He's not necessarily the most trusting person, y'know?

He kinda forgot that yeah, his child would eventually get to the age where she'd start dating too. He's not ready for it at all and that's why he kinda panicked T-T

It's not really the dating part itself that he minds, it's more a question of who she's dating. He'd be open to meeting his daughter's boyfriend and getting to know him, but if he doesn't like him he probably still wouldn't say anything lol

However, if this boy hurt her, then...ohhhhhh no. We've seen how protective Sigma is of his casino- imagine him having a whole ass kid. He'd let the world burn for her!

Would he kill the boyfriend? ...I honestly don't know man. It's not like Sigma's well-adjusted and knows how to deal with these things

You'd need to remind him that even if she and her boyfriend do break up then it's not the end of the world, and she'll be fine if she has him around when that happens

You're Dazai's everything; but he very rarely gets as much attention as he'd like from you-- since you're always belittling him and putting yourself on this high throne above him and his friends.

To say it annoys Dazai is an understatement. He's positively furious with this outcome; how can someone he finds so perfect, so wonderful, be such a horrible person?

He never expected this; he thought you were all smiles and sunshine when you met, but once you knew he had fallen too deep for you, you let your mask slip, turning into someone he didn't know at all.

However, he can only keep up his own facade for so long. You think you're the one at the top- you're better than him, after all, right? But you couldn't be any more wrong.

Suddenly, he's like a living nightmare with you. Telling you how ugly you are, breaking down what he sees as narcissism and you see as confidence, until you begin to lose yourself in the depression he's induced. Sure, you're still a narcissist-- but now you don't focus on how amazing you are-- you focus on every little insecurity Dazai pointed out.

Who's really in charge here?

Chuuya Nakahara

He doesn't really know how to handle you. He understands, almost immediately after meeting you, that there's something wrong-- but he can't pinpoint what; that is, until Kouyou meets you for the first time. She knows, without a shadow of a doubt, what's wrong with you. Your lack of attention and affection to Chuuya, the way you hold yourself like you're looking at everyone in the room with distaste, as if you hold a higher position than everyone in the room.

She knows, and it unnerves you. You pull Chuuya away to leave almost immediately.

However, that doesn't stop her from telling him. And once the secret's out, Chuuya doesn't seem to look at you the same way, avoiding your eyes and often hiding from you.

He values people who put others above themselves, more than anything else. He curses himself for falling for a person like you, but there's not much he can do. He'd never leave you. He's trapped by you. Your intoxicating laugh, your beautiful eyes, and even your personality, as much as he hates what lies behind it.

He's now the one trapped, not you. The dynamic has shifted, but you're quick to realize what's happened, and you know there's no going back now.

Fyodor Dostoevsky

Fyodor knows from the start that you have some rather unsavory traits. He's ok with it, since he knows that he's a rather enigmatic person himself.

However, what he's not ok with, is when you try to "put him in his place"-- he laughs cruelly and asks you who you think you are?

You're unsettled, but not undeterred. Keep this going, and he may just have to break you. He knows you; he knows how the intricacies of your mind work, and when you get too far into trying to remind him how you work, he'll put an immediate stop to it and remind you how he works.

When you give up and move onto his colleagues-- spreading rumors of him and blatantly lying to put yourself above him, he starts reconsidering your worth as his lover. And he tells you. He tells you, upfront, that he fantasizes about killing you when you pull shit like this. He lets you know your place. And hopefully, you learn. But maybe, just maybe-- you don't.

Nikolai Gogol

Nikolai knows from the start that you're a narcissist-- it excites him-- it's just one more reason to break you down.

When you start looking down on him, however, his excitement turns into disappointment. He thought you would just think highly of yourself-- he never thought you would turn up your nose at him!

However, he quickly discovers the exhilarating thrill of making you self-conscious!

At first it starts with just little things; he nags you about your appearance, the way you dress, and speak. Then, he takes the manipulation route, telling you that no one besides him could ever love you. When asked, he calls it "treatment ".

He's thrilled by the results. A shocked, shaking you by the end of every night, half-broken and ready for his signature mental warfare again by the next morning. He can't imagine anything greater.

Sigma

Sigma is half in tears with you. It's his fault, and you tell him that, but he doesn't want to listen.

He refuses to abandon you, even knowing how sick in the head you are. You're not worse than him, of course, but your narcissism is unbearable in the relationship.

He pleads and begs with Dostoevsky to fix you, but he laughs and tells Sigma that to "fix" you would be to break you.

Teary-eyed, Sigma comes home from work each day ready to be berated by you for every little thing that could not possibly be his fault.

He loves you.. that's what he tells himself. He goes through this because he loves you, and he knows you'll treat him better someday, because you love him too... right?

Jouno Saigiku

Jouno loves that you think you're better than him. It's so amusing.

He never lets you rest, subtly breaking you down just to hear your racing heartbeat as you squirm.

"You must not be so beautiful as you claim, honey, because since we're soulmates, God must have put us together! And God would never have made me miss out on such beauty..."

When Jouno said this for the first time, it was then that you began to question yourself, your own identity. What if he's right...? What if you're not p e r f e c t?

Jouno breaks you down with the softest little smile. Even knowing he was sadistic, you couldn't even peg this as sadism; it was something intrinsically wrong with you and you alone.

Jouno knew that you were so insecure because of him and loved exploiting you in your moments of weakness. After all, what better time to take what he wanted except when you were so vulnerable before him?

So I realized something interesting about the teaser for the next episode of the anime: Dazai getting shot by Chuuya is very explicitly shown in the preview.

At first I thought "Oh yeah they just wanted fans to know that we'd be getting to chapter 109 in this episode already". But then I realized that it's actually super weird that they would "spoil" the big twist (Dazai's potential death) in the teaser already. That feels a little bit like if had chosen to show a clip of Chuuya drowning in episode eight (which they obviously didn't - it was supposed to be The Big Thing of that episode, it was meant to shock anime-only fans and leave them with a cliff hanger that would have them come back the following week). So why did they make the decision to show (what one would assume) The Big Thing of episode 10?

And it's not even a subtle hint that only manga readers would pick up on. We flat-out see Chuuya shoot Dazai in the head in 4K colorized version.

People have theorized that episode 11 would actually wrap up this arc by showing unreleased manga chapters, which is a theory I'm inclined to support (what's the alternative? Storm Bringer crammed into 20minutes? Chapter 110 but it's just Aya falling for 15 minutes? A beach episode?).

However, one twenty-minute episode feels way to short for wrapping up an arc as big as this. We literally have four different POVs to follow simultaneously - five if you count SKK and Fyodor/Sigma in Mersault as seperate POVs. Half of the cast is currently bleeding out somewhere. So we'd have to assume that the last episode is gonna be significantly longer (probably fourty minutes, if you want a more or less clean wrap up off all the loose ends). Which in turn leaves us with the question - why not just do an episode 12 and thus bring this season to a standard BSD length?

But let's assume this issue gets fixed somehow.

Narratively I think it would make sense to leave episode 10 with the absolute lowest point of our protagonists. Which I guess you could say it does but that leaves 110 and Aya's little Beastzai moment out. It would be odd to start the episode with Aya jumping because her POV needs to be the first one resolved (since Bram controls the vampirism). It also wouldn't fit with the assumed episode's theme of regaining the upper hand in the battle/ with things looking better for our protagonists.

In conclusion, episode 10 will likely feature Aya's jump as The Big Thing for anime-onlys to be shocked about and in episode 11 we'll get unreleased content and the big finale of this arc.

Is this a theory I personally like? Not really because it leaves the possibility of an incredibly rushed ending to this overall fairly good arc. It would also take away at least a couple of months' excitement for new manga chapters away since these would already be featured in the anime.

But I think it is the best option we are left with. Unless Bones pulls a Haha Jk on us and there is no 11th episode.

BSD 108 – Will DoA arc be like Avengers Infinity War & Endgame?

Omg this chapter was sooo delicious – me Fyodor stan having time of my life xD His performance and his final words mocking Sigma was 10000/10 – he is truly fascinating and complex villain, I love him xD

OK, let’s get serious XDD

For some time I was wondering how Asagiri intends to finish this arc... Everything indicate that it will end soon, but at the same time given how OP Fukuchi and Fyodor are in their respective fields – some deus ex machina for ADA to win would be unsatisfactory to me honestly. Initially I thought that Bram or Aku will take over and regain control of all vampires and stop Fukuchi, but… after this chapter looks like there is no time for that xD

So I think DOA’s plan won’t be stopped at all, but they will achieve what they want just like Thanos in Avengers Infinity War.

By this I mean that DOA will succeed and create temporary reality – first using One Order to destabilize current world and then using the Book to create new one without abilities. Symbolically, destruction and rebirth always go hand in hand and you can’t have one without another.

Then we will get time skip and Endgame equivalent – our characters living in new world and getting that something is wrong and need to be changed. Maybe reality without abilities would not be so peaceful, who would have guessed that xD Also maybe there will be some rip-off effect of changing reality or some enemy will appear, who guards canon timeline xD Possibilities are endless – it just depends on what Asagiri has in mind and what story he wants to tell.

After all, the core of the story is that abilities are not source of evil and are just part of everyone’s self as projection of fear/greed/anger/and so on. Though world without abilities would be tempting to some characters, which abilities were partly source of suffering - like to Atsushi, who was hesitating whether DOA plan should be stopped. But still, negative traits are still part of everybody and they just need to be balanced by good ones and choices to be better person.

Other random thoughts related to chapter:

Fyodor’s seizure to words ‘help me’ didn’t look fake and it reminded me of how N tried to take control of Verlaine in SB. But I guess it was just temporary and Fyodor regained control and used it to fool Sigma. Ofc it can be that he faked all - we will see if there is more to it or not. Btw I still believe that Fyodor’s backstory is akin to Verlaine or Chuuya – that he was tampered artificially by military to get powerful ability and he started to resent world and abilities because of that. Personality disorder would be indeed cliché and it was already done once in 55 Minutes LN, so I hope that Asagiri has something more interesting for Fyodor in store.

Gogol where are you 👀 I wonder if he is author of the note and that he simply wanted to sabotage Fyodor xD he is character with much potential, I hope he wasn’t just in this arc to set up duel between Dazai and Fyodor in this arc

Me Bram confusion😵 previous chapter pretty set up Bram rejecting passivity and trying to fight for Aya’s future. But this one kinda backed out of this, so I am not really sure where his arc is leading to for now xD but maybe some heroic act later on

Though depending on how things will go - self-sacrifice will suit Fukuchi or Mori too as a way to undo their wrongdoings. Again, possibilities are endless.

Fukuzawa’s state – still I would say it is 50/50 given how healing abilities work whether Asagiri needs character to live or not. Nonetheless, I was expecting his death for a while and it is more plausible option for story sake – Ranpo just needs some character development and Asagiri often use mentor’s death for that. Imo Kunikida as next ADA director was red herring and Ranpo fits better for that role given Agency’s orgin.

Btw i don’t think Sigma will die.

Ofc, it is just speculation and I am not 100% sure that story will go that way, since BSD tends to be so unpredictable. But imo Asagiri didn’t recently mention for no reason that he was inspired by Avengers and that ideally he wants one more season for anime too xD

Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed about this episode because while things got resolved, I felt like there wasn't much emotional resolution? I don't know. Because like, obviously Fyodor's dead and Fukuchi's dead (before I hear anything about either of these, I'm touching back on those in just a sec), and Bram's back to being a full bodied individual, I'm not that satisfied. For god knows how long, the ADA has been divided, being treated like terrorists and what not, and they just. Resolve it like that? Dazai isn't even back with them yet, we didn't even see Yosano, like. I want to see the band back together again. I want to know how everyone's recuperating after that shit show of an arc, because that was a lot.

On the note of resolution, yeah, I'm kind of annoyed that we didn't get more SKK. Not even like, ship content. I don't even care about that part, I think we all knew that was coming, and whatever, like, it doesn't matter.

What I care about is like. Any conversation of what the fuck happened in Meursault. There is no god-damn way that Dazai planned all of that with Chuuya pretending to be a vampire. There's just--can we talk about this? Please? What the fuck happened in there? What happened when we couldn't see things? How much of that was acting, and how much of that was real? Like. Chuuya was wearing contacts and fangs this whole time--okay?

You know, that's pretty damn suspicious. Especially since we don't see a dead body. Originally, I was like, "oh, we have an arm, he's lost his arm, he must be dead."

Something weird is going on here. I get the feeling this isn't the last we'll see of Fyodor or of Nikolai, for better or worse.

It's also intriguing that Fyodor didn't bother to take the antidote once he received it.

Hm. Perhaps he suspected that in a few minutes, he wouldn't need it.

What the fuck happened to Sigma?

Literally, that's it? Sigma's just. Comatose? Forever? Was he left in Meursault? Stuck like that? After an information overload? That's it? Dazai and Chuuya seemed to give zero fucks about it (which is not surprising considering they just met him, but still) (this is not a "WOW I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DON'T CARE" comment, this is a general like "they've got more pressing priorities than a man they've known for about 30 minutes tops"), which seems to imply that he was just left there in that state.

Is Sigma just going to stay imprisoned in Meursault in that state? Because as a member of a terrorist group--which after all this, I'm hoping it's established that the true terrorist group was in fact the Decay--it would make sense for him to be held in the top security prison that they just broke out of.

Also, what the fuck is going to happen with Meursault. They destroyed quite a bit of that. Like. Is Dazai going to receive a call about "hey, bestie! you kinda destroyed our high-security government facility, time to pay up lol" LIKE. HELLO.

Fukuchi's "curse" on Fukuzawa-- what is that going to mean for his future and that of the ADA's?

It'd be very easy to say that Ranpo was speaking metaphorically about Fukuchi cursing Fukuzawa, but this is BSD. A lot of weird shit happens.

In any case, ignoring that, we now know that Fukuchi seemed to plan for Fukuzawa to be the one to kill him, and that One Order would actually respond to Fukuzawa. He has put him into this role of the chief commander of the Army of Mankind--not sure if that's official or not, but that could have big implications for Fukuzawa and the ADA going forward. And now, he has One Order, and can't destroy it, which begs the question:

What next?

Albeit, Akutagawa's back and got a fire af fit, but EVERYTHING HAS GONE BACK TO HELL. ALREADY.

And, the worst part?

That's got to be fucking Fukuchi, who we just saw die.

The scars on the face. The hair. The buff ass body.

And that fucking sword.

Which means that within those two hours, something went very, very wrong.

No one else is in sight. Atsushi is currently fighting Fukuchi again. Akutagawa has either been fighting at his side or is now fighting with him.

What's even more fascinating is the cloth mask over Fukuchi's face. Intentionally obscuring his vision, and our vision of his face.

Let's take a further, closer look, shall we?

This man. Has no feet. His hands have become claw-like, black. There appears to be antlers popping out of his head.

Something really fucking weird is going on, and you know what? We're not finding out shit for god knows how long, because we didn't even get to all this stuff in the manga yet.

Other Thoughts

Akutagawa's Return: The boy has come back! He's not dead! That's wonderful! Plus, he's got a badass new look. However, he and Atsushi are already going head-to-head again with Fukuchi(?). (Also, someone commented on here--I can't remember who--about how he has armor covering his neck, and TOO SOON. HE JUST CAME BACK. STOP.)

Bram Stoker: The man has been freed from the sword, which also begs the question of what exactly will happen to said sword, but that's a later problem, most likely. The man now has two legs, is alive... what's he gonna do? My bets are that he's going to hang out with Aya, the reincarnation of his daughter, because why the fuck not. It's not like he has anything better to do at the moment.

Vampires: Uh. People are still vampirized. Albeit, when we see Akutagawa again in the preview, he is very notably not a vampire anymore, but how did that happen? Can Bram just, revoke his ability? Probably.

Dazai's Return: Listen, man. He's been in jail for months. I just want to see him reunite with everyone again. I want to see Atsushi and Kunikida going "holy shit you're back". I want Ranpo to make fun of him for going head to head with Fyodor. I want to see him recovering from the shit that happened in Meursault. You know what I want? I want him to stop playing chessmaster for one fucking moment and just. Relax. Take a nap. Jesus fucking christ.

Jouno: We didn't see him in this episode. At all. Where is he? Where did he go? Why isn't he here? If the vampirization is taken away, he's got to be free.

The Hunting Dogs: Are we going to continue seeing them, or was this the last of them? Honestly, it'd be interesting seeing them becoming a more permanent fixture in the cast, kind of like how the Guild has functioned.

Man. Now we got to wait aaaaaaaaaall over again.

Hi, Sadist, I love your artworks and stories so much, as an aspiring writer. I was wondering what you thought of Fyodor's death during the last season 5 episode of bsd, because I felt that all this time he was shown to be sooo intelligent, and then he got fooled way too easily by skk's fake vamp trick (i'm dying), the plot of bsd is confusing me :') AM I alone here??

First of all, you've come to the right place. If you didn't see my other most recent ask, I'm a BSD s4-5 hater, and an Asagiri hater as a whole, really, after seeing the kind of shit he's pulled.

Second of all, let's get something straight here: FYODOR IS NOT DEAD. You can't EVER tell me that 1) a BSD character of importance has actually died for real and 2) his dead body was not even shown on screen and Dazai said "HE'S DEFINITELY DEAD" HAHAHAHA. LAUGHABLE. ATROCIOUS. He's obviously gonna come back minus one arm. Asagiri doesn't care about logic or good storytelling, anymore. It won't matter that a helicopter literally BLEW UP WITH HIM IN IT, Asagiri will be like "um akshually" and then the worst possible plot convenience explanation ever, just like EVERYTHING IN THE NEWEST SEASONS HAS BEEN SO FAR.

Like please. I'm SUCH a hater right now. I don't ever want to see more BSD content. I'm done. Wrap it up. The vampires were enough. I didn't need fucking CHUUYA PRETENDING TO BE ONE AND MAKING THE AUDIENCE JUST BELIEVE THAT FYODOR WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO THINK HE ACTUALLY WAS A VAMPIRE?? HELLO? Smart person, who??? Also tell me how he simulated the red eyes, Asagiri. Hm? How'd he pull that off?

Bullshit.

Fyodor and Dazai came off as intelligent in their first few appearances together. Fyodor's BANGER scene with Ace? I'll never get over it. I LOVED that. Was it a BIT of a stretch in a lot of areas? Yeah! BSD has always been that way. But it absolutely lost its course and any sort of grounding in reality or good storytelling when it came to S4-5. All of the "'''''''intelligent'''''''''' characters are now just plot convenience masters. It's absolutely ridiculous. We went from high school level reading to kindergarten shit.

And I never thought I could be made to HATE Dazai. But these new seasons turned up the "oo I'm so quirky" dial on his character so hard that I completely disconnected with him and Fyodor and couldn't stand whatever scenes we got with them together. The whole prison break scene was devastating, too. What EVEN.

Coming from a writer's perspective, this is just the LAZIEST plot I have ever seen in an anime. Asagiri spent NO amount of effort deciding how to make characters work to get themselves out of whatever pits they fell into. He just went "oh and then this other guy swooped in and fixed it! Easy peasy! I'll beat up Kenji again! And then I'll give him this VERY IMPORTANT rage form suddenly that was NEVER explored and NEVER mentioned until just now! For like two minutes so he can "beat" this guy in a fight and then let him go because NOBODY DIES EVER!"

I seriously can't. I knew Dazai wouldn't die but all the fan theories of how Dazai wouldn't die were better than what actually happened. It's almost amazing the amount of non-effort that went into these season arcs.

After finishing them, I now hate Gogol, Fyodor, Dazai, Chuuya (more than before), Atsushi, Fukuchi, Ranpo (though I've never once had a positive thought about him) and basically everybody--except Akutagawa was okay, Sigma, Jouno, and Tetchou had potential, and Bram was very cute. They ruined everyone else so badly that it felt like OOC versions of them. Or did next to nothing with them, like Jouno and Tetchou. ESPECIALLY DAZAI. I will be malding over Dazai for FOREVER now. Why the hell did they turn him up to 100 on the most annoying parts of his personality???

In conclusion, not a single thing went right in those episodes, it was all "oh this could be go-- [GETS RUINED]" over and over again. There was a SINGLE episode that made me happy in S4 and it was that one where Gogol was introduced and he yanked on Atsushi's leg and stuff and that was IT. LMFAO.

Okay I have to cut myself off or I'll go on for hours. THANKS FOR ASKING ME ABOUT IT, IT WAS ALL BOTTLED UP IN ME.
