These bright colours were all SO cute to work with, and the lollipop swirl design is one of my favourites I’ve made :D It’s SO chunky and cosy thanks to all the floats on the inside. The harlequin diamond design is definitely something I’ll use again, too

I love the smell of winter air. Not the sharp, hurts your nose winter air. But the winter air where the smoke from people’s fireplaces drift out of their chimneys. Where the snow is browning from passing cars, the sidewalks are covered in chunky or thin ice, footprints are left all over, the windows are lined with scraped off frost and it’s all a little ugly. The midday, midwinter air. It’s just so familiar and nice to me

Latest project completed! Knit Santa hat for an upcoming Christmas party. I used size US 15 knitting needles (circular and then double pointed). Yarn used was Plymouth Yarn in the colors red and crème. Super happy with how it turned out! 🎄

My hats are up for sale!!

I started this project in January to get through the enormous stash of Stylecraft Special Chunky I’d managed to accumulate (mainly from me and my dad’s temperature scarves), and to challenge myself to develop my own patterns and charts. They’re now finally done and up to buy on my etsy store!! Purchase them here to support my little craft endeavours!

I’ve been making and adding some new hats to our wee shop this week, which is very exciting. I’ve also been playing around with some new colours … so here’s a quick peek at the first two. I learned how to do it when I was a kid but lost interest. Funny enough I picked it back up in December of 2019… great timing for a new hobby. Majority of the stuff I’ve made are hats, but these are a few of my projects; some close ups for the larger ones though
