Sometimes I think ab how Felicity is v short. Like 5'1 at her tallest. So Derek is taller than her after step 2 and it's like great for him because he's always been the shortest one. Also he loves picking her up.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.

Chapter 68: Bleeding Brother
A/N: gonna be a spam of chapters bc I think it's about time. Feedback always welcome!
As the four headed back to Scott's house, they were debating on whether or not to call Stiles and tell him about what had happened with the possibility of killing a Hellhound.
It made no sense to either of them as to what was going on, and Stiles was the brains of the pack.
But…
Scott sits down on the edge of his bed, glaring at his phone screen as he looks at the voicemail Stiles had sent him moments ago.
Malia and Lydia sit down beside him as Sam paces, still refusing to ruin Stiles' time where he was.
Scott was in a limbo. He knows his best friend wanted the best for Stiles, but they also needed him too. Scott’s voice is hesitant as he calls out to Sam. “Sam–”
She fixed him with a widened eyed look and pointed at him with a snap. “You call him and I'm snatching your damn fingers. The boy deserves a break. It's enough that he's already had the responsibility of being the sheriff's son, but being here hasn't been too kind for him in the past couple of years. He finally has a chance to just do him.", she rambled.
She'd finally stopped pacing, her shoulders sagged. She frowned sadly, as she remembers all the times he was in danger. “We almost lost him. Again and again and again. I'm not risking it anymore.”
Scott frowns, but nods in agreement. However… “If this turns out to be something big, and we don’t call him…”
Sam sits by the bed, letting out a sigh. "I know. He won't like it. But it'd be worth it if he won't get hurt."
Malia looks between the three and shrugs as she speaks. “Maybe we should go back to the woods tonight and find the killer?”
Lydia sighs and turns her attention to Scott. “Scott…”
He frowns and looks at his phone. “You guys didn’t hear his voice. He sounded really excited to be there.”
“And he should be. We shouldn't ruin that. Just play the damn voicemail.”, Sam said.
Scott presses the voicemail on his phone and plays it on speaker. “Hey, Scott. So, I’m here. I’m in Quantico, Virginia at the FBI. I’m at the fucking FBI! It’s real. I’m really here–”
The four smile at the sound of his voice. “And I kinda told Lydia that I miss her and I can’t wait to get home, but listen, Scott…"
They all sigh.
Scott frowns. "Whatever you’re doing right now, either of you, just make sure you’re still getting out of Beacon Hills. I mean, maybe you think you can’t leave, you know, like the whole thing falls apart if you’re not there, which, I get… but you have to. I know you’re supposed to drive out tonight, so, if you don’t call me back, just promise me you’re actually going. Just get in the Jeep and go. If you have to drag Sammy out of there, you do it. I know she won't leave. Not if she's still waiting for that stupid sourwolf.", Stiles says, making Sam roll her eyes.
"Alright, later man, I’ll talk to you soon.”
Scott turns off his phone. “We’ll try to figure this out, find Argent, maybe this won't all be something big and we can just tell him when it’s over.”, he said with hope.
Sam frowned. “Let's… give it a couple of days. Maybe a week and if it all goes to shit, we’ll call him.”
Scott stands up with a sigh. “Then, let's head back to the woods.”, he said and the girls nod.
After arriving at the preserve, they look around.
"So what else could we look for?", Malia asks Scott, but he doesn't answer.
The girls frown at him. "Scott.", Lydia called. Suddenly, Scott runs off as if he was chasing something. The girls look at each other before running after him.
Malia pants, "We can still catch him." They catch up to him and Scott turns to them, confused. “Catch who?”
Sam looks at him with furrowed eyebrows as she catches her breath. Malia frowns and shares a look with Lydia. “The killer. What were you thinking about?”, Lydia asks.
Scott holds up the bullet casing in between his fingers. “Getting the bullet to Argent.”
“Even if he’s the one who fired it?”, Malia asks and he nods. “Especially if he’s the one.”
Scott turns away and freezes as if he is on high alert. “Do you hear that?”, he asks, looking at Malia and Sam.
They nod. “Heartbeats.” Sam feels for any presences and frowns at the familiarity of them. Before she could speak up, panic struck on Scott’s face. “A lot of them. They’re coming.”
Lydia and Malia frown at him. “Who?”
Scott turns back to where he heard the heartbeats.“Hunters – run!”
Scott takes off running, leaving the girls in confusion before taking off after him. “Scott, wait! Scott!”, Malia yelled.
He ignored their calls and seemed to run faster. As they try their best to catch up, they're met with deputies with their guns drawn and flashlights beaming at a pair of bodies on the ground.
The girls' eyes widened as they took in the sight of Scott and Noah.
Noah lifts one of his hands towards the Deputies and warns, “It’s okay. Everybody, stay back. it’s just a kid.”
As they got closer, they could hear one of the female deputies ask, “What’s wrong with his eyes?”
“Shit.”, Sam mutters and moves up to the two. Parrish's order rings clear, “You heard the Sheriff, stand down!”
Sam kneels next to Scott, giving an apologetic look to the sheriff before taking Scott's hands who looks at her with embarrassed expression. He was still struggling to get his breathing and pounding heart in check. “Deep breaths, Scotty. You remember?", Sam asked.
Scott swallowed and nodded, following their traditional technique. Once he calmed down, she looked at him and gave him a nod. "What happened back there?”, Noah asked.
They help Scott stand up and Sam looks at the sheriff. "There's…something we need to show you."
They head back through the preserve towards the area where they found the dead body of the hellhound.
They show the body to Noah, Parrish and a few other deputies who search around the crime scene, looking for any more clues.
Scott turns to Noah, embarrassed. “I’m really sorry.”
Noah dismissed it with a smile and a shake of his head. He didn't blame the boy for a freakout. So long as he wasn't committing mass murder, that is.
Sam frowns as she looks at Parrish. “How much you think they saw?", she asked, nodding over to the deputies. Parrish shrugs. “No more than they’re used to.”
Noah crosses his arms. “I still wanna know what happened.”
“He’s a Hellhound.”, Parrish explains, pointing at the body. Malia clarifies. “A dead Hellhound.”
Lydia frowns at her as the sheriff shakes his head. “Yep, got that.”
Parrish frowns. “Well, I don’t get it. I didn’t think you could kill a Hellhound.”
Malia flicks her eyebrows up, unimpressed. “Looks a lot easier than we thought.”
A pause waves over them and the sheriff and deputy looked at them almost suspiciously.
Noah speaks up. "You got anything you wanna add?”
Scott fidgets but doesn't say anything. Sam rubs behind her neck. “We just didn't think any bullet was able to do that.”
Noah nods and Parrish frowns as he looks at the hellhound’s body once more. “I'd hope not.”
As they drove back to Scott's house, they all sighed. Lydia looks at Sam, frowning. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
Sam frowns and looks at Scott. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
Malia looks at all of them. “Why didn’t any of you say anything? Wait, was I supposed to say something?”
Scott frowned. “No. None of us said anything because it’s Argent, and he deserves a chance to tell us himself what’s going on.”
Sam looks at them. "So none of us are gonna say anything until we talk to him. For now, we'll just have to figure this shit out ourselves.”
Lydia and Malia look unsure but Lydia sighs. “As long as we talk to Argent soon.”
Sam frowns, tiredly. "Now would be preferable."
Scott rubs his hands over his thighs, raising his brows and nods. “Finding Argent is the first priority.”
Moments later, Lydia brings Sam over to the Sheriff's station after having to explain she had a premonition of Parrish. Their first plan was having to ask Parrish for access to the card readers because of the sound Lydia heard.
He agrees and helps them down to the holding cell area. Once they were there, Sam sighed as Lydia stared at the bars of the cell. “Is that it? The sound you heard?”, Parrish asked after sliding a key card.
She shook her head. “No, it’s something else.”
They left the holding cells and made their way through the station and into the bullpen where the other deputies were working.
Parrish sits on his desk, having Lydia and Sam stop in front of him. He frowns as he thinks out loud. “It could be any kind of public facility. Hospital, a fire station, or…”
Sam frowns deeply. “Or a mental institution.”
Parrish's head snaps up as he frowns at Sam. “No.”
“Eichen House.”, Sam muttered. Parrish sighs, shaking his head.
Lydia gives him a grimace. “The card readers on the doors?” He nods. “It’s the Closed Unit.”
Parrish stands once more, giving the girls a firm look. “You’re not going back to Eichen, and you’re definitely not going anywhere near the Closed Unit.”
Lydia almost pouts but leans a little closer to him. “What if there’s a connection to the…” She lowers her voice. “Dead Hellhound?”
He immediately shakes his head anyway. “Absolutely not. What if you go there again and someone tries to kill you? Which seems to happen every time either of you go in there!”
Sam frowns. “It’s what we got right now.”
He frowns at her. “If I bring you anywhere near that place either the sheriff will kill me, Stiles will kill me or Derek.”
She raises an eyebrow. She expected the first two, but Derek?
Parrish catches onto her confusion. "He made it very clear, before he left, not to let you get into any more trouble while he was gone or anywhere near the Eichen House again. Said something about you being drugged or something…", he trailed off.
"Look, if you're so worried, then you can come with us.”, Lydia suggested. Parrish smiles and shakes his head while reaching over to his desk chair and grabs his jacket. “Or… I can go alone and the two of you can stay here in the nice, safe Sheriff’s station.”
Before he leaves, Sam walks up to him. "Hold on, Jordan.", she says and makes a motion for him to lower his head.
Confused, he does just that, only flinching once he feels a strand of hair being plucked from his head. His head snaps back up, frowning at the girl as he rubs the sore spot. "What was that for?"
She grins, "Gray hair."
He narrows eyes, slightly offended and leaves the girl at the station. Lydia looks at her. "It's not a gray hair.", she says and Sam gives her a unimpressed look with an eyebrow raised.
Looking around, Sam makes sure none of the other deputies were watching and makes a resin in the floor before putting Parrish's hair strand in the middle.
Once she placed a hand over the circle, the crescent moon appeared on her forehead, indicating that the linking spell worked.
Moments of waiting and they were getting nowhere. Hadn't heard from Parrish or anything.
However, Lydia's attention was gathered by a calendar reminder on her phone.
Last day to register for MIT– today, 6:00PM.
Sam frowns sadly as she looks at her friend who frowns as well. "You should've registered.", Sam mutters. Lydia looked at her.
Sam glanced at her. "Register for online classes, at least.", she said with a smile. She didn't want her friends to miss chances of their lives outside of Beacon Hills and its troubles.
Lydia smiles. "I'll do that." Before she could get another word out, she sat up straight, looking at a deputy placing her walkie talkie on a charger.
The girls share a look and Lydia gets up, sneaking over to the walkie talkie. Sam watches as the girl messes with the device, listening for whatever she was listening for.
Lydia raises the volume, and the sound of static enters the room from the device. The girls looked around to see if anyone was paying attention and no one was so Sam nodded at Lydia to continue.
In seconds, Sam's wrist felt like it was freezing as the small crescent moon appeared on her forehead once more. The girls looked at each other with wide eyes.
“Time to go.”, Sam mutters, leading Lydia out of the station.
Once they arrived to the Eichen House, Sam paused as she tried to sense where Parrish could've been.
After a minute, it was faint, but she sensed him in a cell.
The moment they walk in there, she'd be powerless. The only thing she could think about was how they rushed in there to search for Stiles, only for him not to be there. To look for Lydia as she was getting tortured, only for Sam, Scott and Kira left Stiles and Lydia to look for Valack while the dread doctors tormented them with their presence.
Each time she remembered, she felt helpless. How the hell were they gonna get Parrish out?
Lydia notices the girl's hesitation and holds her hand. Sam's eyes locked onto Lydia who gave her a soft smile. "I got you."
Once the gate slammed behind them, Sam accepted her fate. There was no turning back as they entered the building.
As they walked the hallways for the closed unit, Sam made sure to keep Lydia close. Lydia was more bound to this place than she was and it'd hurt her if Stiles knew that she let Lydia get in trouble with the place.
However, the dark hallways were keeping her on edge. It wasn't easy to keep a brave face as they looked around.
“Why aren’t the lights on…?”, Lydia whispered as they looked at all the unlocked doors. If only it was that easy when they were trying to save her the first time.
"I'm not liking the looks of this, Lydia.", Sam muttered. They both jump at the sound of gates slamming behind them.
Lydia yells for Parrish but Sam glares at her. Her yelling was gonna give them away. Whoever was here obviously didn't want anyone down here.
She wished she could just sense someone's presence. Even if it was just theirs.
Something.
It was better than nothing.
They pause as they hear a female voice. “It’s here."
“We should be killing them.”, another voice says.
“Wait!”, they heard Parrish yell before jumping at the sound of a loud, echoing gunshot ringing through the hallways.
The girls glanced at each other before sneaking to where the sound came from.
Their eyes widen as they see a doctor pointing a gun at Parrish's forehead, muttering that he didn't have to be afraid anymore.
Before he could pull the trigger, Lydia raised her arms and let out her banshee screech at the man, and sent him flying toward the wall of the cell, and fell to the ground, knocked out.
Sam rushed over to Parrish, taking in his state. He was freezing, just like how her wrist felt earlier. "You regret not letting us come with you now?", she asked, taking off her hoodie and wrapped it around him before helping him up.
"I-I had h-him…", Parrish weakly scoffs, but gives the girls an appreciative smile as they help him out of the institution.
After leaving the sheriff's department, Lydia and Sam drove back to Scott's house, finding out they had found Chris at a gun deal that he was supplying the entire time.
Chris informed Scott that he wasn't avoiding the teens, but had been busy providing and investing in gun sales.
It didn't make any sense, though. They hadn't seen any hunters in so long. The Argent clan practically stopped going after supernaturals in Beacon Hills ever since the incident in Mexico.
"Well…I asked him about the casing and he said he hadn't stamped a bullet since… y'know.", Scott explains, making Sam frown sadly.
It was understandable but still made no sense as to how the bullet was still stamped by his family's graving.
After Scott's explanation, Lydia and Sam inform them about what had happened to Parrish and Dr. Fenris.
Scott and Malia's eyes widened. “He killed every supernatural in the Closed Unit? All of them?”
The girls nodded. Lydia shrugged her shoulders. “He said he couldn’t see it any other way.”
Sam frowned. “Apparently, he was so angry because he struggled to "protect the world" from the things in the closed unit and decided he shouldn’t cage the supernatural and then killed them so humanity wouldn't be afraid anymore.”
Malia scoffs. “Well, I’ve got another way. You don’t kill everyone.”
“He was afraid.”, Lydia frowns. It made a little sense. “The wolves, the rats. Everything links back to fear.”
Scott frowns in thought. “But what is everyone afraid of?” In a second, Scott takes the casing out of his pocket, frowning sadly. “…Us.”
He placed the bullet on the kitchen island and drums his fingers on the island. “We don’t know what fear would do to somebody. I mean, it can change them. They’ll look at us differently. They’ll do things that they’ve never done before.”
Malia frowns in frustration. “People can be so stupid.”
Lydia shakes her head. “They’re not stupid, they’re scared.”
Sam stares at the bullet. “And when people are scared, they'll do things way beyond their expectations."
The next day, Scott informed the three of Brett's assault, and was introduced to Brett’s sister, Lori, who was already waiting for them. The girl informed them that she had found a bloody lacrosse stick by Brett’s car.
Mason and Liam showed up with each other along with Lydia and Malia.
After they discuss their plans, Lydia speaks of hers. “I’ll stay here and try to see if I can get anything.”
Scott, Malia, and Sam nod.
Mason jabs a thumb over his shoulder toward the school. “Corey is in a study group so we can stay with Lydia, we can – you know, try to be helpful?”, Mason suggests, much to Lydia's surprise.
She shrugs. “Fine, meet me in the Chemistry classroom.”
They walk to the school while the other 5 move to where Lori saw her brother's blood. “His blood is over here.” Liam nods, jogging over to her “Let's go.”
They follow the blood trail into the preserve with Liam leading ahead. He stops at a tree with an arrow in it and lifts his hand up to the end of the arrow, turning and aiming his arm from where the arrow was shot. “Here.”
The older four watch, catching onto his line of sight. Suddenly, Sam hears a crunch under her foot and steps back to see a black phone that Lori picks up. She looks at Sam. “It’s his.”
The boys look at the phone. Liam frowns, “I think he set a trap.” Scott gains a look of agreement on his face. “He’s fighting back.”
"And now we know he’s alive.”, Sam says.
Lori turns towards the tree, looking around frantically. “But he’s still hurt. We need to find him. He needs to know we’re here,” she says, worriedly. In a beat, she takes a deep breath in and turns towards the preserve, making Malia's eyes widen as she stops her. “You want the hunter to know we’re here, too?”
Sam frowns as she senses another presence. "She's right. It's not a smart move. Could be a setup for the rest of us."
Liam shakes his head. “He’s new – we can take him.”
Malia turns to the boy. “What if Brett howls back? He’ll lead the hunter right to him.”
Scott shakes his head. “No, we could find him first. There’s no human that can track sounds faster than we can, and we’ve got the advantage. We’ve done this before. We know what we’re doing, guys.”
Malia's eyebrows furrowed as she looked around. “How come I can’t catch his scent?”
“He’s masking it.”, Lori explains. Malia grumbles “Can someone tell him not to?”
Liam walks past them, pointing to the ground a few feet away from them. “He went this way.”
He takes off down the trail. "Liam–!", Sam calls before chasing after him with Lori, Scott and Malia.
They stop after a moment, catching their breath. Malia places her hands on her hips “The trail’s gone.”
“Uh, maybe he just stopped bleeding?”, Scott suggests.
“Guys, I think we should split up. Lori and I go this way, you guys go that way.”, Liam says. Lori speaks up. “Or maybe we go in five directions?”
Sam frowns. “Yeah, no.”
“Sam, we have a better advantage. it’s five against one.”, Liam frowns. “This isn't a 5v1 game, Liam. If we split up, only one of us is taking him on.”, Sam says.
Liam frowns. “I’ve been doing this the past three months without your guys’ help. I think I can make a decision.”, he says, making Sam raise her eyebrows at his boldness.
“Well, if you’re deciding to do something stupid and die, then go ahead.”, Malia huffs, making Sam give her an unimpressed look. “It’s one hunter – one amateur – who doesn’t know what they’re doing.”
Scott kneels on the ground, moving some dirt around and revealing footprints in the mud underneath. “Scott?”, Sam calls.
Liam looks at footprints. “The hunter.. he’s covering his tracks.”
“There’s another.”, Scott informs as he moves more dirt that was moved over to cover the other set of prints.
Malia gets closer. “Two of them?”
“Probably more.”, Sam huffs. The feeling of being scouted even with her detection didn't settle her at all.
Lori looks at Scott. “How many hunters have you seen out here before?”
Scott looks at her. “…a lot.”
Sam frowns at Liam. “Still think it's a good idea to split up?”
Almost pouting, Liam looks at her. “We can deal with it later. We just need to find Brett’s trail.”
Lori shook her head and pointed at a stack of rocks. “No, we don’t. Rock balancing – Satomi taught us. It’s him, and I know where he’s going.”
Lori led them toward the balancing stack of rocks. There was a grate covered by a fallen bushy tree branch, and they climbed down into the tunnels.
After making their way in the tunnels, they found puddles of black liquid, easily resembling black blood. Lori kneels down and swipes her fingers through one of the puddles, letting out a sigh as she turns back to them. “He’s been poisoned.”
“That’s why he’s not healing.”, Scott said, dreadfully.
"I don't think we'll make it to Deaton's.", Sam mutters to Scott.
"What if he only has a few hours to live?”, Lori asks with wide eyes. Sam sighs and looks at her packmates.
Liam frowns, “Well, if we howl, we can find him.”
“That’s too risky.”, Malia counters. Lori frowns at her. “Who cares about the risk? He could be dying.”
Malia turns to Lori. “He’s still moving.”
Scott looks at Sam and she closes her eyes before taking a knee and placing her hand on the ground. If she could feel where Brett is, it'll probably give them an indication of how long he has.
Scott sighs as he watches her. “We just need time to think.” Sam looks at him with furrowed eyebrows. "I can't concentrate under pressure.", she warned.
Lori frowns at Scott. “I need him to know that I’m here, that I’m coming for him.”
Liam looks at Scott. “Yeah, Lori’s right. He has to know we’re here!” He turns back to the black trail and takes a deep breath in.
“Liam, wait!”, Malia yells, but Liam ignores her, roaring down the tunnel.
The silence they heard unsettled them. "Shit.", Sam muttered. They continued down the hall, worriedly.
“Why didn’t he answer…?”, Lori asks. Liam grimaced. “Maybe – maybe he didn’t hear us…”
Sam frowns at him. “Well, I got two solutions. Maybe he's too weak to give a howl or he's been caught. Y'know, by the hunters that's out here??"
Before Liam could retaliate, Scott yells. “Lori, no!” The rest saw Lori's legs walking into a tripwire.
Sam grabs Liam and Malia, after hearing a clicking noise, pulling them back from where she assumed the trap would've come from but her eyes widen once she hears Scott groan. She, Liam and Malia see him hit the wall and let out gasping breaths.
Scott lifts his hands to his stomach where a metal pipe impales him.
Malia and Liam rush over to grab at the end of the pipe, slowly trying to remove it from his body, finally getting it out. Scott lets out a loud groan as he slides down the wall.
Sam walks over to the pipe and sees spikes on the pipe, resembling a mace. "They planned this.", she mutters, looking at the three in front of her. Scott nods, gritting his teeth in pain. “They knew we were coming.”
Malia kneels beside him. “Don’t talk. Just heal and let us figure this out.”
“They’ve been a step ahead of us the whole time.”, Scott growls, holding his stomach in pain. Sam walks over to him, placing her glowing hands over his stomach. "Stop talking, you'll make it worse.", she scolds gently as her arms fill with pain.
Lori frowns sadly, glancing between Scott and down the tunnel. “I’m sorry, but I can’t wait around… we have to go.”
Sam glares at the girl.
Liam nods. “We still have the numbers. Four to two. We’re faster, and we’re stronger. We can take them."
"We'd be faster if she hadn't walked into a tripwire.", Sam growls. She winces, but Scott grabs her hand. "I'll be fine.", he says, trying to get her to stop.
He tries to sit up properly. “They’re smarter too.”
“I don’t care who’s smarter, or faster, or whatever. My brother’s going to die.”, Lori says. Sam turns to her once again. “You have no idea what the hell you're getting yourself into. This isn't just some coincidence. This was planned. Elaborate.”
Sam looks at Scott. "This sounds like something the Argents would do." Scott frowns in realization. He couldn't deny that. They've been through situations like this too long to not know.
Liam looks at Sam. “But they’ve never fought us before.”
“You never from them before.", Sam says. "You’ve never fought hunters, Liam. We need to stick together.”, Scott reminds. Lori shakes her head. “I need to go.”
Liam stops her. “No, you’re not going alone. I’ll go with you."
Sam stands, stopping him. “And how are you gonna do that? Again, you haven't fought any hunters. So what's your plan?”
Liam frowns sadly. “Look, Sam. I know who we are. And we never give up. Especially when it’s someone innocent. When it’s someone alone. When it’s one of our friends.”
Sam frowns at him. "Yeah, against anyone other than hunters. These hunters are way smarter. I just feel like we're running head first into their traps. Picking us off one by one and then what? How're we gonna save Brett?"
She sighs once he gives her an almost pouting look. "Fine. I'll go with you."
Scott nods. “All of you go. I’ll catch up.”
Scott tries to stand, groans and falls back onto the ground, letting out a huff. “I just need a minute.”
Malia looks at Sam. “You go, I’ll stay with him.”, she says.
Sam nods, "Just…stay safe. I'll know if something happens.", she says and leaves with Liam and Lori.

“i don’t think he’s gonna agree.”
“he’s gonna agree cause he promised me at least once.”
derek and penelope bickered outside the dark wood of spencer reid’s apartment. the said promise was going to a bar with a majority of the team, gideon and hotch declining. jj and emily were already at their usual bar, derek was sulking due to being dragged into this side mission, already expecting a lengthy no.
penelope rapped her knuckles to the wood, “well tonight might be the night he surprises you.” her toes giving a slight bounce while waiting about ten seconds.
there was the sound of footsteps on the other side and the twisting of a lock. the door swung open all the way and insteade of the slender doctor reid greeting them, they stood in front of someone unknown.
“can i… help you?” you asked the two strangers on your doorstep. their faces showing clear confusion and curiosity.
the chubby blonde open and closed her mouth before asking, “does- does a spencer reid live here?” twisting her rings. penelope was positive this was spencer’s address, but she didn’t want to come off as a stalker or something.
your body shifted a bit, from kinda loose to now more concerned. “who’s asking?” eyeing them both skeptically.
derek took the moment to mess around. he pulled his badge from his jacket pocket and flashed it, with a straight and serious voice he said, “the fbi. we need to ask doctor reid some questions.”
you called over your shoulder, “spence! the fbi is here!” keeping them outside the threshold.
there was quick steps from inside that grew closer and over your shoulder, spencer popped into view. he stood beside you, “what are you guys doing here?”
you looked at him, “you know them, right?” fingers messing with the shiny knob. spencer quelled yours nerves with a shy smile, “they work with me at the bau.” your mouth shaped into an ‘o’ at the information.
“you gonna introduce us, boy wonder? being a rude house guest.” the blonde reached an arm out to wack at spencer’s bicep. you and the other man chuckled at her antics.
“this is penelope garcia, our analysis. and derek morgan works in the field with me.” you outstretched a welcoming hand, “i’m y/n, his roommate.”
derek was the first to shake hands, “pretty boy never told us he shared a space with anyone. you know, with his thing about germs.”
“i’ve know him since high school. moved here for college, so it worked out. he’s more open to it since we’ve known each other for a while.” shrugging off derek’s assumption.
“oh!” a yelp from the blonde, penelope, “you should join us for drinks tonight. maybe it’ll convince this one to join us.” she’s pointed a painted finger at spencer, “i’m cashing in your promise.”
you cocked a brow, “promise?” asked for anyone to answer. penelope did, “this one promised that he would come out with us once, well more like forced out if it’s been awhile. and it has, so it’s now the two of you we’re dragging along.” she clapped her hands together twice, “come on. the night isn’t long for us.”
you weren’t gonna force spencer out, but it did sound promising. “i could use a break…” mumbled out the side of your mouth. you looked at spencer who locked eyes with you, he twisted his mouth then sighed, relenting to his fate. “fine, fine. we’ll meet you there.”
“oh! this is gonna be so fun! i can’t wait to chat with you.” penelope reached in for an impulse hug, one you reciprocated after a moment pause. you chuckled, “same here.”
your two guest shortly left and spencer closed the door behind him. you turned to him with crossed arms over your chest and a playful pout to your lips, “kinda hurtful they didn’t know about me.”
spencer licked his lips with a bashful smirk, “wanted you to myself for a while.” cupping into your cheeks and pressing a soothing kiss to wash away your puckered lips. “best get ready, they can get impatient very fast.”

hiiiiiiiii jade! <3
would you be willing to write a fic about girl dad!spencer x bombshell!reader? i can only imagine what an adorable riot their daughter would be!!!
tysm!
ty for requesting!! mom!reader
Spencer always thought you were too beautiful for him. Too funny, too brave, too confident. For years he feared he’d never be anyone you could love; he was the opposite of all your best parts, he talked too much about the wrong things, he went red whenever you so much as looked at him, and he couldn’t flirt back, not for anything.
But it’s been a very long time since he felt that way. What good is a father who doesn’t believe in being yourself? Amanda deserved to be loved from the moment she drew breath, and he shouldn’t have been any different.
Now, though, he’s wondering if he shouldn’t be so accepting of all her whims. “I am not wearing that, daddy,” she says.
She’s just old enough to put together sentences but young enough that the individual words sound like building blocks, chunky and clumsy on her little mouth. Her lips are yours, her smiles and frowns one hundred percent you. (Though you argue with him often that the quizzical pout she does is all his.)
“What do you mean, angel?” he asks, bent over her sock drawer looking for a matching pair.
“This is pink, and this is purple.” She points.
“Yes, and you like pink and purple!”
“I like pink… and I like purple,” she says.
“But not together?” he asks knowingly. “You want them at different times, is that it?”
She runs for his legs, hugging them tightly. “Thank you.”
“You’re so much like your mommy it’s scary,” he whispers playfully, leaning down to pat her small back. “Okay, angel. I’ll find you a different dress to wear. Or maybe the dungarees!”
She lifts her chin up to smile at him. “Y’okay.”
“Spencer, Amy!” you call, voice carrying from the kitchen. “Are you guys ready? We have to go soon and you haven’t even eaten!”
Spencer used to sit at his desk daydreaming about you. He’d drink five cups of tea a day to get to walk past you for the kitchenette, hoping you’d be making a coffee, that you’d flirt with him over corporate rewarded donuts. Now you’re making him breakfast as he persuades your daughter into jelly shoes because she wants tall shoes like mommy. They compromise —Any will wear the wrong shoes if Spencer agrees to carry her to the kitchen table.
“Sorry,” Spencer says as he pushes open the door into the kitchen. He's trying to be the best dad he can be all the time, but he doesn’t have a knack for the mornings like you do. “We won’t be late.”
“That depends on how agreeable my lovely girl is feeling today.” You pick up the pink plastic plate you’ve filled with eggs, toast, and a mix of washed berries. “What do you think, Amy? Looks nummy?”
“Chocolate chip?” she asks, eyes already widening.
“It’s breakfast, honey,” you say, scooping her out of Spencer’s arm to carry her to the table. “Chocolate chips are for dinner.”
“Please?”
“If you promise to be really super duper good at Uncle Derek’s, then yes, you can have some chocolate chips,” you say, tucking her chair in, and kissing her chubby cheek. “You want me to make you milk or juice, mm?”
Spencer spots the two plates you’ve made up for you and him on the counter and quickly brings them to the table, sliding yours in front of you with a long-pronged fork, his hand on your shoulder to keep you in your seat. “I’ll get it,” he says, ducking down to kiss you on the side of the mouth.
You turn to Amy. “See that, sweetheart? See how nice and kind your daddy is to me? He’s soooo nice. This is why we love him so much, and we appreciate him so much.”
Amy nods emphatically, blueberries tumbling off of her plastic fork. “So much,” she echoes, her voice like melting sugar.
He has a weird moment by the fridge where he has to grip the handle. “You know I used to dream about making you a cup of coffee in the mornings?” he asks.
“Spencer, come over here and kiss me again, please,” you say, sympathetic and fond.
“Me too!” Amy says through fruit. “Me first.”
“Oh, gosh, this is one of the hardest decisions of my life,” he says, sweeping in to dot your cheeks with kisses, hers then yours, three apiece.

Title from mad hatter by Melanie Martinez don't even @ me for that
1.
“...she will be an important part of making your team function quicker. We fought hard to get her here. I ask that you all treat her with respect and not make me intervene.”
Strauss finished her introductory spiel with a familiar “mom-glare” towards the team, walking away once she finished her speech. Unfortunately, her departure left you standing alone in front of the most intimidating man you’ve ever seen and four of his team members. You had been practically still until now. You hated the pressure of everyone’s eyes on you, causing a general freeze response to the stress of a new team. Fawn, you thought, the newest addition to the fight or flight categories and also the lovely thing forcing you to practically disassociate in front of your new boss and co-workers.
“Welcome, Dr. L/N. We’ve heard good things. I’m Aaron Hotchner, I supervise the team.” He was leaning on the table before he stepped forward to shake your hand as he spoke. “This is Emily Prentiss, Jenifer Jareau, Derek Morgan, and Doctor Spencer Reid.” He pointed towards the corresponding people as he spoke of them. “Agent Rossi is away right now, and you’ll meet our T.I. later…she’s been excited.” If you hadn’t been good at your job, you’re sure you would have missed the way his lips turned up slightly at the edges when mentioning the woman. He didn’t seem so scary anymore, more like a father of the team. You’d been expecting a drill sergeant - your last team leader could have given a bull a run for it’s money with how much aggression that guy had. You welcomed the rush of excitement you felt at the discovery, mentally shaking off the stiffness you were carrying.
“I’m happy to be here, sir. I’ve heard good things about the team, too. Your boss seems to think highly of your capabilities.” You addressed the room as you spoke. Public speaking was a skill you were still trying to master, so you practiced whenever you could.
Your statement earned a chuckle from the table. Nobody bothered to explain the reason. You figured it was too much history to sum up on the spot. Your eyes wanted to linger on Reid. He seemed so young, and you wondered if he’d been told that his entire career - lord knows you had too. A fellow doctor. You assumed he was a bit of a stickler about the title, as even his boss kept it tacked onto his name when introducing him. You’d originally hoped to find some comfort in the man, on the surface he seemed a lot like you. He was probably too smart for his own good as well. Given the way he was staring at you, though, you felt the realization sink in that the man had no intention of welcoming you.
“Why exactly do we need another profiler?” His voice held no malice as he spoke in the direction of his boss. There was more curiosity in his voice than anything, however you did pick up on the sense of superiority that sat just beneath the surface of his words. You guessed that’s how he behaved generally - as though he was superior. Still, your head tilted slightly to the side at the question.
Damn. Tough crowd.
You saw the intake of breath in Hotchner as he prepared to defend your place here but you spoke before he could start. “While I am a profiler, sir, first and foremost I am a psychiatrist - a doctor. As I’m sure you heard from Strauss, the board is unhappy with your recent efficiency rates and would also like to aid your team in dealing with mental health crises. I’ve spent my entire life studying the effects and conditions of the mentally diseased brain. I’ll be able to tell you the most efficient and effective way of interacting with these individuals, along with more accurately predicting their actions and methodology. I’m an agent, I took the same oath everyone here did but I was brought here for my expertise.” You were on a bit of a tangent, you knew that, but something about the smug feel of the man forced an emergence of competitiveness. He looked at you so indifferent, and you couldn’t help the tiny sparks of anger lighting beneath your skin. You kept a friendly disposition towards the man - you were a professional, after all, not a teenager - but you sensed a rivalry sprouting it’s roots.
The others at the table suppressed their smiles or looked down to hide it. Nobody had ever challenged Spencer like that. They could all feel he was a tad bit territorial. He was the guy people went to when they needed to know something. He was the Doctor of the group. They didn’t think he would take too kindly to another one encroaching his land. They saw the way he was tense, even more so after you responded. It was a riveting sight, though. The lot of them saw Spencer as a younger brother, and him meeting his match was something they were all so excited to see.
“Play nice, pretty boy.” Derek muttered to him, Spencer was slightly slouched in his chair now, not losing sight of you. Derek followed suit, turning his attention towards you. “We’re glad to have you, Doctor. We’ve spoken about an addition like you before, I’m glad to see the higher ups finally listened. I look forward to working with you - excuse me.” He left once his phone rang.
The others took his exit as an excuse for their own, everyone giving you a warm welcome as they left. You reciprocated happily, telling everyone they could just call you by your first name, never having been one for titles. ‘There’s one difference.’ You thought, even your internal dialogue was bitter. Aside from him, there was a warmth here that you had been desperate to find in your last team. If you had to work passive aggressively with one uptight man in exchange for a team like this - you were going to take that deal.
He refused to leave it seemed. He just sat looking inquisitively at the table, occasionally extending his stare to look at you before returning. How did you two end up alone in this room?
“Are you gonna have a problem with me, Doctor?” You shifted slightly on your feet. A notoriously nervous sign, one he definitely picked up on.
He stared again. It was his mind that kept him rooted in his seat. You were fucking alluring. He’d never met someone so like himself in his line of work. He was being a dick and he knew it but it seemed to be instinctual - some type of precaution, maybe. He didn’t know why you were being so respectful. Doctor. God, he didn’t know if the title had ever sounded so good being directed at him. His frustration only rose as he thought on the issue more. He wasn’t welcoming, it would be so easy to drop the formality, something he knew you knew would get on his nerves. But you didn’t. It didn’t seem like a question of dignity. You didn’t seem like the type to refuse a little pettiness - he sure wasn’t the type either. A thought stirred, an unsafe one he wanted to squash immediately but one he also couldn’t help but lean into. Did you want a power imbalance?
“No.” He stood abruptly, obviously still focused on the thoughts in his head. “Welcome to the team.” He addressed you one last time and then walked out of the room.
You followed shortly after, ready to make home on your couch and be done with being the newbie for the day. Your stress would follow you home, though, as the last thing you heard before you left the building was “Oh my god they’re perfect for each other.”
2.
The first few weeks were always the hardest. This was something you knew and were prepared for but it did nothing to calm your nerves. You’d been on countless missions having worked this job for a while now, but this was an entirely new dynamic to learn. You were an outsider for the first time in four years and it was scary. This case was shaping up to be a rough one, too. A man was having delusions telling him to kill. An extremely rare manifestation of his Schizophrenia, only elevated by the newly acquired aspect of him being an insomniac.
Spencer hadn’t ceased being headstrong in cases either. Every time you wanted to help he made it his mission to overcompensate in order to snuff you out. On the contrary, he’d warmed up to you a little. It wasn’t major, he barely held any positive feelings toward you, but barely was better than not at all, so you coped. You two had managed a couple small talk conversations outside the battle of one-upping that you were currently losing. You absolutely hated it, but you liked him. You liked him a lot, actually. You don’t know when in the past few days that anger morphed into fondness but it had shifted hard. The casual dominance he exuded drew you in like a porchlight lures a moth. You doubted the opposite proved true for him, and that stung. You came to enjoy the banter, the competition, even if you were always playing the losing hand. It was the only way to get his undivided attention and the feeling of his eyes on you started to follow you home.
You thought a lot about how you could get the relationship to pivot into something better. You didn’t want to be the girl he bickered with at work. You didn’t know what it was you wanted but you knew that your current fate sounded horrid. He was an ass, though, and he did not make it easy to admit those feelings. Every time he undermined you, you grew more attached and also more angry at yourself for doing so. It was because he’s so much like you, you thought. You knew from the way he interacted with his team that he wasn’t a cold guy, didn’t hold malice towards people for no reason. He needs time. He needs to know you, and God how badly you wanted to know him.
You had sustained good relations with everyone the past few weeks you’ve been here. Meeting Garcia and Rossi had been a treat - both of them being delightful company. You’d heard them whispering about you and Spencer when they thought you weren’t around. The whole team seems to think that you’re basically fated to be together. It was unnerving how comforting that thought was to you. You hoped they were right.
Spencer hoped they were right too. He’d heard the same whispers you had, chastising the team when he got the chance as if he didn’t think about you every moment he could. His eyes seemed to naturally land on you if you were around. He watched you walk around the bureau more and more lately, enjoying the gained confidence in your step as you cemented your place in the team. The sway of your hips or the swing of your arms. You mesmerized him no matter what you did. One time he got so caught up in his thoughts of you that Prentiss had to check he wasn’t having a silent panic attack. He clung to his sense of resentment, tried so hard to remind himself of the feelings he had when he first met you - you were beautiful, of course you were - but you were on claimed land and he was anything but eager for you to make home on it. That had faded fast, seeing how kind you were, scrambling to help and earn respect from everyone. The only reason he kept up the act of  “man who wants you gone” was so that he could keep talking to you. Spencer was a genius but he didn’t know how to handle someone like you. He’d been interested in girls before, hell he’d had girlfriends before but it had never felt like this in such little time. Such intense infatuation was crippling for someone who’s brain worked in patterns - this was new ground for him.
“Everybody suit up. We have Foster’s location and we need to move quickly. He’s going after the source of his rage and we don’t have time to spare.” Hotch came down the stairs two at a time, spurring the team into action.
“This man is highly dangerous but also highly deluded. The cases I’ve read similar to this say it’s best to speak gently. He’s sick but he can be reasoned with.” Spencer pulls from his memory as he sets his ‘FBI’ vest into place on his chest.
“No, not this time. This man is too severe, his mind is too far gone. If these hallucinations of his are strong enough for him to touch them it’ll be extremely easy for him to rearrange or imagine your words differently. You need to be loud, direct, and assertive. Speak as little as possible. The quieter you are, the easier it will be for him to change what you’re saying in his head.” You also spoke while putting your vest on. You didn’t carry a weapon - a personal vow of yours, as you were more than classified to - so there were no holsters to fill. The contradictions between the two doctors of the team made everyone hesitate even though they lacked the time to do so.
Spencer looked at you, slightly out of breath from working so quickly. “You’re questioning my memory?”
“I’m not questioning your memory, Doctor. I’m questioning your sources. There’s a higher risk level if we do what you’re suggesting. Let me do my job.” You made the final adjustments to your attire as you finished speaking. You returned his eye contact for just a beat too long, letting the others rush out of the building while you stood your ground, the two of you begrudgingly following after them a moment later.
You had been assigned a different car than him for the ride over. ‘Thank God’ was the only thing you could think when you saw him heading to the other SUV. After another confrontation - another public one, at that - you weren’t sure you could handle being pressed leg to leg with him in the backseat. Your words were a looping record in his head as he rode towards Foster. They were about to attempt a hostage negotiation with a man seeing people who weren’t there but all he could think about was that fucking word you refused to drop.
I’m not questioning your memory, Doctor
You had to be doing this on purpose, he thought. He originally believed this had started because you knew stripping him of his beloved title would cause irritation. Now he suspected you knew how badly he wanted his name in your mouth and this was your way of torturing him. ‘It’s working.’ He thought. God was it working. He agreed with his team, you were perfect for him. You had knowledge to match his, kept him on his toes. One time the start of a ramble slipped through his “I don’t like you” façade and he felt his heart speed up at the genuine interest that roused in your eyes. You wanted to know him and he was an idiot for all the shit he was doing.
He wasn’t surprised when your strategy worked and Ben Foster was taken into custody. You were the one to talk him down, and if you hadn’t already been accepted to the team, he knew then and there that they needed you. You were flawless. He knew you’d been doing this as long as he had and it showed. He pleaded with himself to stay focused, zeroed in on the weight of the gun in his hand to save face. His mind never left you, though, much like his eyes. This was the expertise you spoke of - no wonder they fought hard to get you here.
“You were excellent in there.” It was just the two of you now. Even in the dull, flashing police lights, you were breathtaking. “Good job.” He said. Then he walked away because he was on the brink of kissing you and didn’t feel like breaking about 18 workplace rules while at the scene of a crime. You wouldn’t have been complaining if he did.
3.
Every time something like this happened it was difficult to remind yourself that not carrying a weapon was a choice you made willingly. You were currently sitting in the back of an open ambulance, about to be hoisted onto a stretcher and driven to the ER for stitches. You’ve been with the BAU for almost 3 months now and have miraculously managed to avoid injury in that time. This had been one of the easier cases. No chases or clues to follow, just a sick man who left a fairly obvious paper trail. You were the speaker on almost all cases. You were in charge of de-escalating a situation, making sure the bomb didn’t blow. You’ve never carried a weapon, always preferring to take the wounds of a job over using a gun to back up your words. You were a psychiatrist, you wanted to make people better, not vilify them. It worked, usually. People did tend to trust you more when you were unarmed. This time, though, it got you stabbed.
It wasn’t a bad injury, the blood had already stopped and was mildly dry by the time Spencer was joining you. Just one more scar to your collection. It was to the side of your quad, missing any artery by miles and just serving as a pain source at this point. A little numbing and some stitches and you’d be right as rain is what the doctor in the ambulance had said.
“What happened?” He spoke softly to you. There wasn’t a rivalry between you two, not really. The banter hadn’t stopped, but it changed. It was playful and actually fun now. The both of you weren’t obsessed with outdoing the other anymore. Some casual boastfulness and a budding friendship is where you were at with him currently.
“I got stabbed.”
“Jesus Christ, Y/N.”
He exhaled like he couldn’t comprehend the stupidity of your answer. You laughed at that. One enjoyable pastime you’d picked up in the past month was trying to bewilder him. The EMT said he needed to check the rest of your body for injury despite your protest of such a procedure. It was typical and you knew that, but you held onto the fear of your own body that middle school gave you. There was a man you liked here, and the thought of him seeing the bit of stomach that hung outside the waistline of your pants scared you more than you thought it would. You forced yourself to be rational in spite of this. It was Spencer, you wanted to be seen by him.
“Holy shit.”
You chuckled at that. You forgot that maybe a warning was in order for the amount of scars that littered your stomach.
“Probably should have told you about those.” There were dozens. You amassed a countless amount of scars over the course of your job. Stab wounds, bullet grazes, burn marks. Unsubs, as much as you tried to empathize, were often violent at the end of the day and usually lashed out before they could be helped.
He was staring - well, gazing more like. Not like someone stares at a car accident on the freeway but instead how someone stares at the moon - awe. He was in awe of you. Your strength, your courage, the fact that you went through all these individual events and still chose not to arm yourself. Some of these were in places that could have been fatal, and he thanked whatever entity may be listening that you persevered, begged them to continue that streak. He crashed hard into the desire to touch you, to run his hands over what little of your past he could see. He wondered if you would let him. If you’d fit into his palms the way he thought you would - if that was something you even wanted. The EMT was gone by now, having moved to the passenger seat for the ride to the hospital.
“Could I - " He hesitated for a moment, this was definitely the wrong question to ask. “Can I touch you?”
Your eyes glazed over slightly. Jesus. You felt your lips part a little.
“You want to?” Genuine surprise. You didn’t think you looked particularly desirable in your current state. He wanted to touch your fucking scars. Who does he think he is?
“Please.” He was looking at you in a way you hadn’t seen before. His eyes were glazed over too. You held his eyes as you nodded. The heat was so stifling that you laughed just a little at the tension.
“Fucking hell, Spence.”
Blood shot to his ears when you said his name. It had been well worth the wait to hear you say it like that - breathy and confused and so fucking pretty that he wondered how he ever lived before you said it.
“Will you tell me about them?” He was breathy too, but he wouldn’t have you here, not like this. He just needed to feel you.
“I’ll tell you anything you want, Doc.”
His hands were warm. It wouldn’t be the last time you felt them.

MEI. MEI, MY MOST FAVORITEST FANFIC WRITER. IVE HAD AN IDEA.
PENELOPE (Garcia) AND READER GOT THEIR PERIOD CYCLES SYNCED, AND SO THEYRE BOTH OVULATING AT THE SAME TIME, AND SO DURING DOWN TIME THEYRE IN GARCIAS OFFICE LOOKING AT BABY PICTURES, AND MORGAN COMES IN, AND READER LOOKS AT HIM AND GOES "Derek, put a baby in me." AND JUST LIKE EKDBJEGDHE
RELATIONSHIP PRE ESTABLISHED OR NOT, IDC, I JUST NEED THIS. 🙏🙏🙏
i love the idea of being cycle synced with penny she's my girl <3
--
"This is my niece," Penelope tilts her phone towards you, and beneath her hello kitty phone charm that dangles in front of the screen, you can see the chubby outline of a baby girl dressed in pink frills and a comically large hairbow.
"Oh, the baby," You gush, voice raising an immeasurable number of octaves, "Her little fingernails are painted pink!"
"I know!" Penelope wails, anguish worked into the wrinkles her frown etches into her face, "God, she's so teeny-tiny and she's such a babbler, she coos at you and she holds onto your finger and she looks at you with these big pretty eyes, and-! I need a baby so bad."
"Me too." You nod resolutely, "Okay - here's the plan. We're gonna go out after work tonight, and the first guy that comes onto us, we're gonna jump him and have his babies."
"Several of them," Penelope catches on, "And we'll send him away and raise them as the BAU's children so that they grow up with Reid's smarts and Emily's kick-assery."
"Amazing. No notes." You stand from the cushy couch in the corner of one of the BAU's rec rooms, "Let's go find ourselves a baby daddy, Penelope."
Before she can stand and join you, the door opens, and your eyes meet the strong, sturdy figure of Derek Morgan. He's clueless as to what he's just walked into, but you study his features briefly.
Strong shoulders. Balanced face. Pretty eyes.
"Derek," You hold your head high, standing strong, "Put a baby in me."
Nothing moves but his eyes, which widen against the smooth tone of his skin. He's effectively frozen in place, and Penelope speaks in his place when she stands beside you and urges, "Me too!"
"We're looking to get pregnant," You explain, which doesn't ease the stiffness in his posture the way you thought it would, "And you seem like a good candidate. Our babies will excel at kicking in doors."
"Uh, that sounds like a concern for a sperm bank, ladies," His voice is slightly weaker than it usually is, but a faint smirk begins to grow on his handsome features, "But I s'pose if you really want, I can open up my own."
"On second thought," Penelope stage-whispers to you, her cherry-flavored lips beside your ear, "I don't want our babies to have his cockiness."
"Hey, you asked me-"
"You're right," You nod back to her, eyes still trained on Derek protesting before you, "Maybe Reid?"
"We'd have to pay for glasses." Penelope laments, "And Hotch's would be born frowning."
"We're out of luck." You sigh morosely flopping back down onto the couch, "The men of the BAU are all disqualified."
"Nuh-uh," Derek grins, something evil glinting in his eye as payback for your earlier teasing. You eye him suspiciously, a distasteful frown already worming its way over your face. But of course, he's Derek Morgan, and he excels at goading. "You forgot Rossi. You ladies ever try Italian sausage?"

Hello!! Silly lil questions: which of your ocs would like to have their cheeks squished as the get a forehead kiss the most?
have you ever dressed up any of your ocs in a suit and given them a cane before? (Its such a good combo, the combo honestly makes me go a lil crazy because it just adds attractive points to an oc, plus characters with personlized canes is fun for prop design, highly recommended if not.)
If a basket of baked goods were left unattended which of your ocs is more likely to try and sneak a bite?
Tumblr media
For the first question it’s definitely Roslyn with Darnell but at the moment, he’s too big for that…
Drawing suits with fats is a bit difficult, man I want do that so badly!! I also wanna do some cane related stuff too because 👀👀
Tumblr media
And as for taking unattended baked goods, that would be Derek…
It smelled so good, he couldn’t help himself… 😔

Would love some more Hotchner blurbs. How about one where you are BAU and have a baby girl (name is up to you) and you bring in the little doll because you (and baby girl) wanted to see daddy? If you are against writing for children, please write Hotch x Reader where she is a civilian and has a stalker problem? Would love to see protective Aaron Hotchner. Thanks
— Popsicles
Tumblr media Tumblr media
📎 — synopsis. You, Jack, and Giada go and visit dad at work!
📎 — warnings. Fluff. Tooth rotting fluff. Jack calls reader ‘mommy’. Will def be writing about reader with a stalker problem :)
The summer heat in Virginia was downright unbearable. To you especially, considering your aversion to heat. Thankfully, after being given a rather generous maternity leave, you could enjoy most of the beginning of summer in the air conditioned house.
Of course, Aaron had to go back for work earlier than you. That left you, Jack, and little baby Giada at home most of the time. You loved your babies- blood or not- but still missed the last part of your family: your husband.
So now here you are, Giada in arms as Jack jumps excitedly in the elevator with a cooler in his arms. Giada had been cooing and scratching at everyone and everything for the better part of two hours. You smiled down at the baby, heart swelling with joy as Jack wrapped an arm around your leg and started ushering you forward.
“Aunt Penny!” Jack shouted, dropping the cooler and heading straight towards his favorite technical analyzer. You reached down for the cooler before Derek materialized beside you and picked it up before you could.
“Not letting you lift a finger, y/n,” Derek scolded.
You just chuckled, earning a loud squeal from Giada. “Yeah, baby? Tell ‘im.”
Derek chuckled and wrapped an arm around you before moseying over to where Jack animatedly told Emily, Spencer, and Penelope about the Spider-Man cartoon he’d been watching.
Emily still listened intently as she wrappen an arm around you and let Giada grip her finger tightly. “It’s been rough without you,” she whispered to you. “I think Hotch misses you more than all of the rest of us combined- if that’s even possible.”
You nod, adjusting Giada. The toothy smile she shot up at you and Emily made all the recent sleepless nights worth it. “It’s been hard on all of us- being separated. I just might call Strauss up and tell her Derek needs to take over for awhile again.”
“Do it,” Emily agrees with a chuckle. She gently pries her finger out of Giada’s and nods towards Hotch’s office with a go get your man.
Your surprised that Aaron didn’t emerge like a caveman from his office (mancave) when Jack announced his presence, but at least now you have the opportunity to surprise him. A short come in filters through the door after your gentle knocked. You entered, seeing Aaron’s hunched over body. He wrote fast, you noticed. A smile lit up your face: positioned unprofessionally close to Aaron was a photo of all of you with Giada asleep in your lap- Jack’s head rested on your thigh with his mouth open in a little ‘O’ as he slept. Aaron was sat on the other side of you when he took that picture. He whipped out his cell and angled the phone so that you and the kiddos took up most of the screen.
“Say hi, baby,” you murmured, gently poking your baby girl’s chubby belly. Giada replied with a mix between a raspberry and a laugh.
Aaron’s head shot up. In record time, he crossed the room and enveloped the two of you in his arms and exhaled deeply. “Hi.”
You smiled up at him when he pulled away. “Hi, you,” you mumbled as your free hand came up to run a hand through Aaron’s tousled hair. “Gi and Jay wanted to come say hi… We miss you.”
Aaron’s eyes softened. “I missed you too, sweetheart.” He basked in the feeling of your comfort and Giada’s mindless babbling. “Where is Jack?”
“Handing out popsicles to the team,” you answered. “Here,” you eased Giada out of your arms and into Aaron’s. You watched with soft eyes as Aaron smiled brightly at the little body, gasping when her head fell on his shoulder.
“Clumsy girl,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to the girl’s temple before adjusting her in his arms and letting you lead the way to the bullpen.
Rossi had joined the crowd of federal agents that now scarfed down popsicles like it was their last meal.
“Look who finally showed up,” Rossi quipped, jabbing you in the arm with a red popsicle. “Took you two lovebirds long enough.”
Jack giggled at your encounter and held up a popsicle. “Here mommy- I saved one for you! Uncle Spence was gonna eat it and it was the last blue one!”
“Thank you so much, kiddo,” you answered, accepting the blue raspberry popsicle. You held it out so Penelope could cut the top off for you. “Where’s J.J.?”
Spencer pointed in the direction of her office, wordlessly crunching the frozen treat. You held open and Jack took it. “Grab a green one so these heathens don’t eat all the good ones,” you told Jack. He grabbed one and giggled, avoiding Emily’s attempt to tickle him.
Jack pulled you forward, singing a random excerpt from a classic rock song you’d heard on the drive to the office. He skipped up and down, something you would have told him not to do if he was munching on a popsicle. You smiled to yourself, wondering how you’d gotten so lucky for your family.

Hiii !! I wanted to request a reaction for Derek, Emily and Spencer
When Single Parent! Reader (GN is fine !!) has to bring their daughter to the BAU for a little bit and she won't stop following the Character around and doesn't want to leave "her new friend" when its time to go? Thank you sm in advance if you write it !! 💕💕
i might swing by later with a dif request, this was the first thing my sleep ridden brain blessed me with ;p
I love this so much (I have been in such a parent fic mood since writing the Dad Spence fic, Star thank you so much) - I think this idea is so adorable, I love it!!!
(I wrote Derek's part and then trailed off and left this in my drafts for a few days, so sorry if there's a huge disconnect between the characters' parts. Ooops.)
Requests are currently - OPEN
How would Derek Morgan, Emily Prentiss, and Spencer Reid react to your daughter becoming attached to them? (Derek, Emily, and Spencer x GN!Reader)
Tumblr media
Warnings: mentions of corporate/white collar crimes (embezzlement, etc.); mentions of the reader being threatened by white collar criminals, mentions of criminals threatening to kill a child; as it says in the title, the reader has a daughter but the reader's gender is not described in any way; surprisingly, for this one, I didn't give the daughter a name. idk, I think that's it. (Edit: now fixed so that the reader is actually fully GN and I am so sorry about the mistake before!!!)
It was a pretty basic case. You were an attorney working on a large company merger - you had found evidence of millions of dollars being embezzled, and when you had copied the files with the intention of bringing them to the IRS, you had started receiving threatening letters. It weighed on your conscience - you knew that the men who ran the company had more than enough money and resources to make you disappear, likely leaving your daughter an orphan, leaving her to wonder what had happened to you for the rest of her life. When you received another letter with photos of your daughter at her preschool attached, now threatening her - you had made your decision fully.
You took your files and evidence to the BAU - you had met Rossi at a seminar he gave, talking about how sociopathy is incredibly common in corporate circles - how sociopaths do very well in corporate jobs due to their driven, goal oriented, emotionless nature. And warning signs to look out for if someone is using those traits to cross into dangerous territory. It was a seminar you had gone to out of curiosity, but you were glad that you had taken his card and you were able to contact him now.
He invited you to the BAU, and the team offered to take your case - to find out who was threatening you and bring them to justice.
Tumblr media
Derek found you incredibly beautiful.
He was intrigued by your looks at first, and when Hotch mentioned that someone needed to interview you and get the full details from you in order for the team to get a better perspective on the case, Derek volunteered immediately. He hadn't gotten a full briefing - too eager to get to talk to you.
He came into the room with a bottle of water for you, looking to comfort you with his smile and his charms, and he was surprised when Penelope came back into the room and a small girl came barreling toward you, incredibly excited to tell you that she had gotten M&Ms from the vending machine (which Penelope had taken her to).
Typically, Derek didn't go for people who had kids. Any other time, with any other person - it would have immediately turned him off. It would have dampened your attractiveness in his eyes. He generally had a 'no single parents' policy, because he thought that dating someone with kids was just a lot of baggage. But seeing you - he was immediately taken with you. And seeing you with your daughter, somehow made you instantly more attractive.
And he thought the way that you scooped your daughter up into your lap and let her feed you M&Ms with her chubby little fingers was all too cute. It was unprofessional, but the case definitely wasn't the only thing on his mind that day.
Penelope took your daughter out of the room again while Derek interviewed you, and it was only when you spoke of the fear you felt for your daughter - the potential of her being her by the anonymous person, that you actually teared up. Derek couldn't help but to pull you in close, holding you tight in an effort to comfort you (secretly loving how tightly you hugged him back) - and it was in that moment that he vowed to himself that he would do whatever it took to protect you and your child. He would always keep the two of you out of harm's way.
And he certainly tried his hardest to accommodate your daughter when he found out that the two of you would be sticking around the office for the day - to ensure that you would be protected until the team found out who had sent the threats. He got her a kids meal with a toy when he ordered lunch, he knew there wasn't much in the office in the way of "toys" - but he swung by Garcia's office borrowed something she had that was fuzzy and lights up (with the promise of returning it) and he scrounged up a blank pad of paper and some coloured pens so your daughter could have something to do.
It wasn't surprising when she excitedly ran over to his desk and gave him a picture she had drawn of him - a very cartoonish muscled man with his same facial hair and an eggish bald head. His exaggerated features in the picture made you and Morgan laugh, and before you left the BAU for the day (when your safety was assured and the local police were on their way to arrest the men who had made the threats to you) - you found a different pen and wrote your number on the bottom corner of the picture for him.
He knew that something in you had changed him when he started thinking about taking you on a first date in the park - something your daughter could enjoy as well, rather than considering what bar or late night restaurant he was going to take you to.
Tumblr media
Emily was surprised by the entire thing.
She hadn't been around children since, well - she was one. Due to events in her past, and due to the way her mother treated her, she never imagined herself being a parent. Ever. She was someone who thought that she was just naturally terrible with kids, like her own mom was. She hadn't met the person she thought that she could settle down with, so she never thought that kids were in the cards for her. So it definitely caught her off guard when your daughter seemed to take to her like a duck to water.
It was in her natural instinct to comfort you. You were so shaken up about the whole thing, the anonymous danger lurking in your life - and she took some extra time to assure you that things were going to be okay, that the team was the best, and they were going to catch whoever was doing this.
She thought it was a natural kindness to get down on your daughter's level and ask what she was playing with, to compliment her cute little doll and then take her down the hallway to grab a snack to give you a few minutes to breathe. The little girl was sweet and Emily didn't mind spending some extra time with her.
On their way back along, your daughter plucked a crossword puzzle book off Emily's desk and asked what it was, and Emily explained it - so then she took a few minutes to find some crosswords for children online and printed them out, and when she came to delivery them, alone with some pens, your daughter enthusiastically asked if Emily would sit and 'show her' - and while you said that Emily was busy and had other work to do, Emily shrugged and said she had a few minutes to spare. Again, she thought it was common manners, sitting with the girl on her lap while she guided her through the puzzles, praising her intellect when she got the answers right.
She didn't see the way you were looking at the pair, pure affection bubbling up in your eyes.
When the day was over, and it was cleared as safe for you and your daughter to return home, the little girl let out a loud complaint that she didn't want to leave her 'new friend Emily' - and Emily couldn't have predicted the way that those words tugged at something in her chest. She didn't know what led her to kneeling down at the girl's level, promising to see her that weekend when she had a free day - that was, if you didn't mind. Getting nothing but a bright smile from you, and feeling a certain spark there.
(She had to resist the urge to punch Morgan in the ribs when she walked back to her desk to nothing but teasing, how she was getting 'the whole family package' on 'her first date'.)
Tumblr media
Spencer found the whole thing (secretly) adorable.
It is no secret that Spencer loves kids. He is very good with kids, and it's clear by the way he acts around kids that he definitely wants kids of his own someday. He hasn't met 'the one' yet - the person that he's going to have kids with. Whether that's through the natural, old-fashioned way or through adoption. But he did always imagine that if he raised kids of his own, it would be from infancy.
He never imagined that the person he was meant to be with would stumble into his life with a child that was already walking and talking - but when he met you and your daughter, it felt so right. Even if the circumstances were a bit dark.
He interviewed you about the whole situation, and when you apologized for crying and getting emotional, he was quick to assure you that it was natural - you were shaking, and though Spencer was usually someone to avoid touch, he found his need to hold you so overwhelming. He didn't regret his choice to wrap his arms around you when you hugged him back tightly.
When your daughter burst into the room (no longer occupied making paper airplanes with Emily and JJ), she was quick to ask why you were crying, extending out a small chubby finger to point at you, seemingly warbling with half-baked tears of her own at seeing you so upset. Spencer knelt down and assured her that everything was going to be okay, and then he moved to distract her by taking the little paper airplane out of her hand and telling her that he knew a trick to make it fly so much farther.
And he did. It was simple aerodynamics and folding techniques. And then they stood near the top of the bullpen, silently trying to get Morgan to look up by flying planes onto his desk - and the man couldn't bring himself to get too mad when he heard childish giggling coming from your daughter every few minutes.
You truly felt those butterflies for Spencer turn into more when he showed your daughter a trick that ended with a fake flower somehow coming out of his sleeve - something feathery and pink that he tucked behind her ear for her to keep, having her smiling and laughing brightly on a day where you had been wracked with worry, fearing for her life.
By the time the day was over and both of your safety was assured, you weren't surprised that she didn't want to leave him. And you made the bold move, telling him (rather than asking him) - that he should come over for dinner and a movie on Saturday, and then leaning over to gently whisper in his ear that the two of you could enjoy a another, more adult flick after your daughter was tucked into bed. Your daughter was too excited at the prospect of seeing Spencer again, tugging on his pant leg, waiting for him to agree - and he was speechless at the implications of what you had said.
He couldn't even think of the word 'no' if he tried.
So, it was a date, then.

an aaron hotchner x reader where she brings in their kid to the office!! i feel like this could be super cute!!
“Aw, look at her chubby little cheeks!”
Garcia squeals, making grabby hands at the little girl resting on your hip. You laugh and let the blonde woman take your toddler from your arms. The 2 year old claps in delight and immediately latches her hands onto the chunky necklace Garcia was wearing. She was like a crow, anything shiny immediately was in her hands.
“You did good, mama,” Derek smiles as he pulls you into a side hug. You grin up at him and hug him back.
“Thanks, Morgan. Any idea where Aaron is at?” You ask, smiling warmly as Spencer and JJ come over to coo at your little girl too.
“Last I saw, him and Rossi were talking in his office,” Derek chuckles as little Hotchner tugs on Reid’s hair. You smile as you watch her look over at the sound of the deep laugh, your baby immediately squealing at the sight of Uncle Derek.
Suddenly you’re being pulled into a warm chest from behind, strong arms wrapping around your waist to tug you backwards. You laugh softly as Aaron takes a deep breath with his nose pressed to your hair.
“My favorite girls,” He murmurs. “The best surprise.”
“Brought you lunch, too. Thought maybe we could do a picnic,” you hum back. It’s impossible not to lean back into his warmth and close your eyes, just resting like that for a moment.
“Maybe we could steal a few minutes for just us. I don’t think anyone is going to be letting our girl go for the next little bit,” Aaron says with a hint of a laugh in his voice. He watches as his team passes around your little girl, listening intently to the senseless babbles that make up the story she’s telling.
“Sounds perfect to me.”
Pulling out of Aaron’s arms, you grab his large hand and interlace your fingers. JJ catches your eye and send a wink along with a thumbs up, assuring you that she’d keep an eye on your baby girl. Tugging, you lead Aaron out of the bullpen with the team smirking and laughing at the two of you.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Tumblr media
Chapter 62: Desperation
Opening his eyes to a dimmed area, Stiles saw that he was in the waiting area of a train station. Sitting up, he saw two women and a lawyer next to him before glancing at the Arrivals and Departures board, taking note of the names of towns that were listed as well as a ticket booth.
He felt unsettled. Why was this place so…quiet? It was eerily quiet. He would've welcomed someone having a conversation, even if it was something he wasn't interested in.
Anything but the cold silence.
Stiles sat back in his seat, frowning as he dug into his pocket, his cold hand warming up to his pocketed keys.
He turned to the doctor. "Excuse me," he whispered, grimacing a bit as she slowly turned to him. "Sorry, where are we?"
"We're at the train station.", she said. He frowned.
"Right. Okay. Helpful.", Stiles nodded sarcastically, and cleared his throat. "Which train station exactly?"
She turned, looking at the Arrivals and Departures board. "Train station number 137."
Stiles looked at the board as well, then turned back to the lady. "Did you see me come in?", he asked.
"No.", the lady said. Weird.
"How long have you been here?", he asked.
"Maybe an hour?", she replied, nonchalantly.
On the other side of her, the lawyer spoke up, reading his newspaper. "We got here at the same time.", he said before glancing at Stiles. "It's been at least six hours."
Stiles' eyes widened a bit. "Six hours?", he asked. The man nodded, returning to his newspaper.
Stiles frowned. Six hours…? What train takes six hours to arrive and depart?
He shook his head before talking to the woman again. "Where are you goin'?"
The lady froze, unsure of her answer before patting herself down on her white coat. "Um. I-I had a ticket with me somewhere." She frowned as she continued searching. "Um…"
"You always travel in your work clothes?", Stiles asked.
"I must have been in a rush.", she said.
Stiles frowned and looked at the ticket booth before standing and walked over to it.
He looked at the dusty, dirty desk, shocked at how dirty it was. He slid his fingers on the desk, the pads of his fingers immediately collected the dust. "Do you know if anyone works here?", he asked.
Before he could get an official answer, a speaker came on, catching the attention of the passengers. "The following stops have been canceled. Hollatine, Batten, Bay Burry, Deer Ridge, Red Oak… Trenton, Anderson, King Springs."
People started standing up from their seats, walking over to the darkened tunnel. Stiles, interested, moved over to the readying passengers. "Excuse me, where are those trains going?", he asked.
No one answered. What the hell is wrong with these people…?
What was up with the trains?
Where were those places?
He continued searching for an answer and became impatient to the people who ignored him "Does anyone know where this train's going?!", he exclaimed.
He sighed, irritated as he looked up at a sign that said, "To Trains". A little hope sparked in Stiles as he was ready to leave the place and find his way back if he had to.
Wind began to blow and leaves picked up, being carried through the air. He frowned as he heard a horse neighing from the tunnel.
People started pushing back the others behind them, making way for the Ghost Riders and their horses. They hid down by the benches in fear.
Stiles, confused and worried, only backs away. A Ghost Rider rode up, holding his whip and assaulted a man's face with a crack, making him fall down.
The Stilinski boy could only watch as two more showed up, dropping off a man and saw as the rope around his hands and feet had disappeared in a puff of green smoke.
Once three more Ghost Riders arrive, Stiles finally moved away to hide before he was next, only to feel someone grab him, spun him around and pushed his back up against a pillar.
Groaning, he looked up at whoever was holding him to send a complaint, only to stop short in shock once he saw who it was.
The eldest Hale, however, couldn't return the same sentiment. "It just had to be you.", he said, annoyed.
The two watched as the horses neighed and guided their riders back down the tunnel, making each passenger sigh with relief, nonchalantly returning to their seats.
Peter followed suit, walking over to his bench with Stiles right behind him. "Peter? Peter, what are you doing here?", Stiles asked. Peter turned around to face him with a frown once he found his seat.
"How are you here?", Stiles asked.
"What do you mean, how am I here? I'm here. You're here. We are all here. Now, get the hell away from me, Stiles.", Peter grumbled, sitting down.
Stiles sighed and shook his head as he looked at the other passengers before looking at Peter who's expression matched the others in the room.
"Hey, Peter. Peter." He snapped his fingers. "Peter!" Peter's eyes stared up at the boy. "What are you doing?", Stiles asked.
"I'm waiting for my train.", Peter simply responded.
"Okay, did you not just see that?", Stiles asked.
"See what?", Peter asked, making Stiles frown in confusion. What the hell was happening? Did he not just save him?
"The horses, the hogtied businessman with the magically dissolving ropes?", Stiles listed, making Peter's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
Stiles, quickly frustrated, turns to the other passengers. "I'm sorry, did anyone just see that!?"
The others gave Stiles a weird look before returning to what they were doing, which wasn't much. It bothered him. Why was no one bothered by what just happened?
"Do you mind?", Peter asked the boy. "You're blocking the board." He nodded towards the Arrivals and Departures board. "I'd like a little warning before my train arrives."
Stiles frowned as he looked at the man. "Okay. So you're waiting for a train. How did you get here?"
"Pretty sure I took a cab.", Peter responded.
"Last time I saw, you were being locked away in Eichen House.", Stiles said. Peter frowned, blinking as he realized.
"I was in Eichen.", Peter muttered, looking up at him. "Thanks to you."
"Memory's good.", Stiles said. "Can you remember how you, uh, got out? They discharge you?"
"No, the power went out. And I ran like hell.", Peter explained.
Stiles eyebrows furrowed. "That's it? You just ran?"
"Yes, that's it. I literally just ran away from the insane asylum that was holding me hostage!", Peter said. "Until I came home with Derek and after the whole thing with Samantha's family, it was raining one day… and this horseman appeared in front of me."
The eldest Hale's eyes widened. "I got shot.", he recalled, making Stiles' eyes widen.
Peter suddenly got up, pacing back and forth. Stiles took his place on Peter's seat.
He glanced at the ticket booth, the Arrivals and Departures board, before looking at Peter again. "How long have I been here?", Peter asked him.
"We saw you three months ago.", Stiles said.
Peter nodded. "Yes, but I saw Samantha…after she and her father and brother met. She had a nosebleed and–" He suddenly gaped at Stiles. "I've been missing for three months and no one came for me?"
Stiles held his hands up in surrender. "We assumed you didn't want to be bothered with Sam's family mess.", he said, making the man frown. "But that's what the Ghost Riders do, they erase you."
"Ghost Riders?", Peter asked. "Ghost Riders of the Wild Hunt?"
"Yeah, you know what I'm talking about?", Stiles asked, eyes wide.
Peter sighed, sitting down at the bench on the opposite side of Stiles. "Of course, I know what you're talking about. They ride the lightning. They are an unstoppable force of nature, but, I promise you, they don't make pit-stops in train stations."
He glanced over at the old lady that sat on Stiles's bench, watching as she gave him her best sultry smile.
Peter grimaced and shrugged before looking at Stiles. "I've escaped one prison only to land in another one. And this looks like the underground lair of a depressed bureaucrat.", he mumbled, glancing around.
"Come on, there's gotta be a way out of this place, right?" Stiles started up. "Have you tried looking around? Have you talked to anyone who knows anything?"
"If this is the Wild Hunt, there is no escape. You and I are doomed to ride the storm...forever.", Peter said.
"Yeah, we're not in the storm," Stiles stood up, walking towards him. "We're in a train station. But we can get out of a train station."
"We can't get out of here, Stiles. Because this place isn't real.", Peter countered.
Stiles looked at him in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
Peter huffed. "Beacon Hills doesn't have a train station."
Stiles frowned before looking at the doors that were locked over near the corner where the ticket booth stood.
Shaking his head, he walked over to the doors, immediately tugging at the locks. Peter got up, followed after him and watched him. "What are you doing?"
Stiles glanced back at him. "Little help, please?", he asked, frowning at the man.
Peter rolled his eyes and got up. As he moved to the door, he grabbed the lock, and yanked it, destroying the chains.
Stiles rolled his eyes. "Okay."
He opened the doors, and ran through, confused as he was transported from the door that was near the tunnel.
Peter noticed him, eyebrows furrowed in confusion as well. "What the hell?" Stiles mumbled to himself, running back through the door and did it again, and again.
Panting, he thought of doing it once more, frowning at Peter's slight amusement.
"No, no, no, keep going.", Peter nodded to him.
Stiles snapped at him. "I don't see you comin' up with anything."
"Stiles.", Peter frowned as he caught a sight from the corner of his eye. The entire time Stiles was running around, he'd noticed a boy staring at the two.
He whispered. "Left shoulder, against the pillar. Don't look.", Peter advised. Much to his disappointment, Stiles did the opposite, seeing a blurry boy. "I said don't look.", Peter sighed.
"Yeah.", Stiles mumbled.
Peter looked at Stiles. "He's watching us."
"Yeah, so?"
"So… every person in this station is either comatose or catatonic. He seems very interested in keeping an eye on us.", Peter informed and nodded his head in that direction.
Stiles turned his head, looking back at the boy who was still watching and stormed over to him. The boy ducked behind the pillar. "Hey!", Stiles called, going the other way.
The boy looked over to see Stiles, only to get stopped by Peter, startling Stiles. "Oh, my god!", Stiles choked, flinching and settled down knowing who it was.
"Why are you watching us?", Peter glared at the boy.
"You tried the doors.", he chuckled. "Nobody ever tries the doors."
"Sounds like you have.", Stiles said.
"The ones that I could open. I've tried everything else.", the boy replied.
"Not everything.", Peter said. "You're still here."
"Yeah, it seems like you got some kind of a plan.", Stiles said. "So why don't you tell us about it?"
The boy scoffed. "I can tell you. Doesn't mean you can do it."
Stiles chuckled, nodding. "Oh, we can do it." He paused, hinting at Peter. "He can, he can do it…"
"Well, it's right in front of your face." The boy explained and both Peter and Stiles faced the black void on the tunnel's archway. "You didn't see it, did you?"
"I saw it.", Stiles declared.
"Then why'd you waste so much time running through the doors?", the boy asked. "I'll tell you why. Because it's all part of the illusion. You're afraid. And they want you to be afraid."
"I'm not afraid.", Peter said and headed for the tunnel. He got closer until he started to slow down, hesitant.
The boy lightly smirked. "Can't do it, can you?" He glanced up and over at Stiles. "He can't do it."
"We really should kill him.", Peter said to Stiles.
"Or you can just walk through it.", Stiles suggested, walking towards him.
Peter let out a heavy breath, readying himself. 'Push me.", he tells Stiles.
"What did you say?", Stiles asked, eyebrows furrowed. "Push me!", Peter exclaimed.
Stiles, confused, held onto Peter's back, and shoved Peter through. Peter stumbled over his feet, but stopped and glanced around.
"Now you're gettin' it.", The boy smiled widely, heading off into the tunnel.
Peter glanced back at Stiles. "Stiles. Stiles, let's go.", Peter ordered.
Stiles didn't move. Instead, he stared into the dark tunnel and sighed. Peter frowned, and grabbed Stiles by the shirt and pulled him into the darkness with him.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Groaning softly, Sam woke up to the sound of loud beeping. Looking up, she sees the ceiling of a car. Her eyes widened as she sat up from the reclined seat.
She was inside the jeep? How? Aside from that, she saw a man hooking a latch onto the Jeep's bumper and she quickly pressed the horn, scaring the man.
Once he saw Sam, he let out a relieved sigh. "Christ–"
"What're you doing to the Jeep?", Sam asked.
"Taking it to the Pound. What're you doing inside it?", he asked. Sam glared at the man, and pulled out a set of keys, hoping he'd take the hint.
Before the man could say anything, Lydia stormed up to the man. "Hey!", she called. "You can't tow this Jeep."
"Paperwork says I can.", the man said, glancing down at his clipboard. "It's reported as abandoned."
"Does it look abandoned to you?", Sam yelled, shocking Lydia.
Lydia placed her hand on the hood, turning to the man. "It's not."
He looked at her. "Oh, so this is your vehicle?"
Lydia tilted her head a bit. "Does it matter?"
He scoffed. "Sounds like a no."
Scott ran up, suddenly. He panted, walking over to the driver's side of the jeep. "It's mine. Uh, my Jeep. Thank you. I'll move it. Once I get the keys.", he glanced into the windshield at Sam with raised eyebrows.
The guy shrugged. "I'm sorry, once it's on the hook…"
"Please don't say, 'you're on the hook".", Lydia frowned, unamused.
"Well, I can't now." The man was about to leave and Sam frowned.
Scott stopped the guy. "O-Okay," He started. "Look, there's gotta be something that we can do. Sign something? Call someone?"
"Pay someone?", Lydia added, opening her purse. The man grinned. "Drop fee's a hundred and fifty. Cash."
Lydia pulled out her money and Scott's jaw dropped, sputtering in disbelief. "A hundred and fifty?"
He looked at the jeep. "This thing isn't even worth that much."
Sam frowned at the boy. "Watch it, McCall!" Scott's eyes widened at Sam. "Come on, Scott," Lydia fussed. "How much you got?"
His eyes widened at her. "Uh, how much have you got?", he asked, sticking his hand into his back pocket.
"Just give me your money.", she hissed. Scott sighed, and took out a small wad, counting it. "All I have is $50. And when I say 'all' I mean all."
Lydia took the money with her $100, handing it to the guy and he happily took it, unhooking the Jeep and headed up into his truck lifting up the platform in the back and finally left.
Scott glanced at Sam. "How the hell did you even get in?"
"Did… Did you sleep in the Jeep?", he asked, as she opened the door, keeping one door unlocked.
"I don't remember even getting in…", Sam said. Scott placed his hands on the girl's shoulders. "Why'd you save the Jeep?", Scott asked.
"Because it's not just a Jeep.", she said. "It's Roscoe."
"Roscoe?", Lydia asked.
"Yeah.", Sam nodded.
"Okay so, why save Roscoe the Jeep?", Scott asked.
"Because I remember it. And, I remember someone always taking care of it. Plus, it just appeared out of nowhere when I was just walking around.", Sam said.
"Made it appear? Made it appear…", Lydia whispered, her eyes widened in realization. "Like how Corey made the Library key card appear even though it was invisible?", she asked, making Scott look at her in realization as well. "And how he made the Ghost Rider at the party appear.", Scott added.
Sam looked at the jeep. "I don't know how, or what I did, but it's here.", she frowned. "I just was so upset and wanted to find Stiles. I felt like I was alone in this, so I did some pacing and found myself in front of it."
She looked at them. "I think I remember being tired, but I don't remember getting in the jeep."
"Okay, but why Roscoe?", Scott asked, finding the name weird.
"I don't know. I just know that that's what it was called.", Sam said.
She looks at them. "I think this is another relic."
However, on the underside of their world, Stiles, Peter and Trent walked further into the tunnel. It didn't make sense. If there wasn't a train for Beacon Hills, why were they there to begin with? Why them?
His thoughts paused as they came up into another part of a train station.
"Congratulations," Peter muttered. "You found another part of the phantom train station."
Stiles kept walking. "Is this the way out?"
"If it was, we would be leaving.", Peter said, annoyed. Trent stopped them. "Thanks for your input." He looked back at him.
"We're trying to get out here and go back to our home and people who need us. At least I am.", Stiles said.
"By that, you mean back to your ridiculous friends?", Peter asked. "This would be easier if Sam were here. She could probably detect us in the dark and bring us back.", Stiles muttered.
"Sam?", the boy asked. "Sam Wilson?", he asked, looking at Stiles who looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"So, you're Stiles.", he said.
"How do you know about her?", Stiles asked, frowning. "She's about this tall," Trent lifts his hand a little by his head, "Puffy hair?"
Stiles nodded. "I saw her.", the passenger said. "She can see the people in here. Most of them are already called for death. I'm pretty sure I'm on my way too."
Stiles and Peter looked at each other in shock before looking at the boy. "Where'd you see her?", Stiles asked. "In a house. She was with another girl. Lydia, is it?"
Stiles' eyes widened. They were still friends…. Thank God. "What house? Who else were they with?", he asked.
Trent shrugged. "Some woman. But she's dead. How Lydia was able to see her is beyond me.", he said, moving away from the tracks.
"You might want to stay off the tracks. 'Cause that's the way in and out." He pointed down at the end of the tunnel where it's doused in darkness. Stiles and Peter nodded, getting up on the platform.
"So, what, we're dying?", Stiles asked. "That's why we're in this station?"
"Yes.", the boy said. "Okay so, how were you able to be seen by Sam? D-Did you talk to her? Anything?", Stiles asked.
"I talked to her and I was actually able to speak, but–" Stiles cut him off. "What did you say?"
"I told her that whatever that she was looking for was right in front of her face.", he said. "And before I could get anything else, I got interrupted by a woman. A dead woman."
Stiles frowned, eyebrows furrowed. "A dead — a dead woman?"
The boy nodded. "What do you mean?", Stiles asked, watching as the boy's behavior suddenly got desperate.
"They're coming.", he says, making them aware of the horses' neighing.
Trent ran over behind a pillar to hide himself, making  Stiles and Peter do the same as they watched at the end of the tunnel burst into green smoke.
In came a Ghost Rider with two more riding behind the first. The horses galloped down the tracks into the darkness of the other end of the track.
Sighing out of relief, the three moved from behind their pillars. "That's the way out?" Peter pointed to the entrance where the riders appeared. Trent gulped, nodding. "How in the hell are we supposed to do that?", Peter asked.
"We jump.", Trent said.
"Jump?", Peter looked at him with wide eyes.
"On the back of the riders as they go through.", Trent explained, quickly.
"Is that all?"
"I've been timing it.", Trent said, looking at Peter. "Look, we can jump from here just before they go out."
"I think you're confusing your pronouns. We aren't going to do anything.", Peter said, swinging a finger between Stiles and him. "But you should absolutely give that a shot."
"Do you not wanna get out of here?", Trent asked, frustrated. "We want to get out alive, okay? How do you know this works? Seems like a lot could go wrong.", Stiles said.
"Look, I can't stay here. I'm losing my mind in this place.", Trent's voice desperate.
"I think you have an excellent grasp of the situation. I say go for it.", Peter said.
Stiles frowned at the man. "Peter."
The horses neighed in the distance once more. Trent tapped Stiles's shoulder. "Hey, they're coming back."
Peter and Stiles got behind one pillar and Trent got behind another, waiting.
Peter looked around the corner and Stiles nudged him. "No, we can't let him do this, right?"
"What if he's right?", Peter asked.
"Hey, we'll figure something else out.", Stiles said.
He turned to Trent, sure that there was another way. It had to be… "Hey, look, there's gotta be another way out of this place."
"But there isn't.", Trent shook his head. "I've been looking for months. Are you comin' or not?"
"It's all you.", Peter said, stepping away as the  Ghost Riders passed him and Stiles. Trent readied himself up just before Stiles tried to run for him only for Peter to stop Stiles, pulling him back. "Let him try.", Peter said.
They watched Trent take off running and jumped onto the back of the horse, struggling to stay onto the Ghost Rider as they kept on riding towards the invisible portal. "Come on, come on.", Peter whispered, nervous.
Trent was close enough until it was his and the other Ghost Rider's turn. The horse traveled through as well as the Ghost Rider did.
However, the portal reflected him off of the rider like a mountain ash barrier, throwing him on his back.
Before Peter or Stiles could say anything, Trent's pain-filled screams shocked them into silence as they watched him be swallowed by green like fire, burning his body into ash, only leaving behind a skeleton.
"Somehow I don't think that went the way that he was hoping.", Peter said letting out a soft breath.
"No, wait." Stiles shook his head, jumping off of the platform, and ran over to Trent's skeleton. "Stiles, he's dead. You see his face? Trust me, he's gone.", Peter emphasized.
Stiles said, frustrated. "You knew he'd die."
"I didn't know. I mean, I assumed.", Peter said with a shrug.
"Yeah," Stiles turned to Peter. "But you could have warned him."
"He was gonna do it anyway. Now, we know.", Peter said, exasperated.
"Know what?", Stiles asked.
"That we're stuck.", Peter declared, jumping down and walked towards Stiles. "It's over. We are trapped because that was our only way out."
"Or that's just what they want us to believe.", Stiles said, still feeling hopeful.
Peter looked at him as if he'd grown another head. "What?", Peter growled. "What is it with you teenagers? You think that you're so special? You think the rules don't apply to you? Do you get it? We are dead and buried."
Stiles watched as Peter dug into his pocket, grabbing his wallet. Peter opened it up, grabbing the few bills Stiles had in there. "Money? It's worthless." He let them drop to the floor before Stiles could reach for them.
"Driver's license? Credit cards?", Peter took them out, tossing them onto the tracks. Stiles tried to grab his things. "Give me my damn wallet back.", Stiles said under his breath, getting upset.
"It's all meaningless.", Peter said and threw the wallet onto the ground and saw Stiles's keys to his Jeep in his pocket, grabbing those. "Keys?"
"Give me my keys.", Stiles frowned, panting. Peter tossed them up onto the platform. Stiles glared at Peter, his eyes glossing.
What was up with Peter's defeat? If he wasn't persistent, he wasn't Peter. He knew that. Peter wasn't a liar. Deceiving, yes, but dishonest?
He must really feel defeated.
"What, did you think you were gonna drive us out of here? Is that what you thought? Do you get it? We don't exist. And we are already forgotten.", Peter said.
"Somebody's gonna remember me.", Stiles determined.
Peter frowned at him, pulling out a picture of the 5 teens sitting on a bench. "This? This was already gone. It's not going to matter.", he said, throwing the picture down.
Stiles scrambled to catch the picture, holding it in a tight hand.
"Lydia, or Scott, Malia, Sam. They're gonna find me, all right? They'll come for me.", he stood, glaring at Peter. "But who would ever come for you?"
Peter slowly nodded at him. "You give me a call when your high school sweethearts conjure up a plan to get out of here.", he said before storming off.
Stiles frowned, looking at the picture in his hand.
Looking at his forever growing adoration, his eyes glistened. He spent his last days in his jeep with her.
He had finally said 'I love you'. Not that he was in love with her, but a full on confession. Not just out of desperation and fear, but out of honesty. He wanted her to know. He always did.
He looked at his best friend. Though the two butted heads, that was his brother at the end of the day and he hoped Scott knew that. He wanted him to know that.
He looked at his previous lover, someone he'd help become docile. Human, once more. He believed in her. He wanted her to have a life outside of being a coyote and all though it took some time, it was worth it.
Though they didn't have the best ending, he still cared. He never stopped.
Lastly, his first friend. The girl that never failed to make him smile. The one that accepted all his shenanigans and even joined in them. He couldn't bear the thought of her forgetting him. Not after what she said.
She was the sister he never asked for, but welcomed all the same. She was his Mother Hen when her mom or Melissa wasn't able to be. He'd never ask for anything more if he could just hear her say how clumsy he was or how stupid he was to give up.
She'd fight to make sure everything was okay again.
And that's what he was gonna do. With or without Peter's help. He placed the picture into his plaid shirt's pocket, gathering his things before leaving the tracks.

Tumblr media
when emily tells you that she wants to introduce you to her friends from work, you're nervous, to say the least. you've heard great things about the bau— not only are they damn good at their job, they also treat each other like family.
you're sure they're lovely people, honest, but part of you wonders just how nice they will be when they find out you have a daughter. you've been going out with emily for the better part of six months, and while she has been nothing but supportive of you being a single mother, that doesn't mean everyone else will be as understanding.
over the last four years, you've faced a lot of backlash about being a single mother. in fact, you had started to give up hope altogether on finding someone new. people do not like to take someone on when they have priorities or "baggage", as one man called it. you were debating taking down your tinder profile when emily messaged you— and boy were you glad she did.
"relax, my love," emily soothes, resting her hand on your thigh as she focuses on the long stretch of road ahead. "it's just dinner. and i promise they don't bite. well, derek might, but he's all talk and i'll kick him in the balls if i have to."
you laugh, wiping your clammy palms down the front of your black blouse. "are you sure i look alright? i feel stupid in this skirt."
before emily can get a word in, verity pipes up from the backseat. "you look pretty, mommy."
you meet her eye in the rear view mirror and smile. her words settle your nerves ever so slightly. "thank you, honey."
"see?" emily quirks a brow. "verity knows her stuff, don't you, v?"
verity is too busy playing with her barbie dolls to give emily a proper answer, but she hums her agreement, which is good enough. emily brings your hand up to her mouth and presses soft kisses to your knuckles, something that she's learnt over the last few months that soothes you.
emily holds your hand, verity holding your other, as you walk into the restaurant. it's buzzing with life, and it's warm, which makes a change to the bitter cold outside.
you hear someone call emily's name, and your heart sinks into a pit in your stomach. as if she can sense your anxiety— and lets be real, she's a profiler, so she more than likely can— she squeezes your hand and leans down to kiss your forehead. "that's jj."
a blonde with bangs pulls emily into a hug as the rest of the team stand to their feet. before you have time to back out of the situation altogether, a woman with orangey-red hair squeals and envelopes you in her arms. "i'm penelope!"
"hi!" you giggle, placing a hand over your chest in an effort to keep your heart from beating so fast. you give her your name and she compliments you on how pretty you are. "thank you," you laugh.
as you go around the table, learning everyone's names-- david and jj and aaron and spencer and the infamous derek-- you feel a tug on your arm. verity's hiding behind your legs and you hoist her onto your hip, not caring who's watching. she winds her chubby arms around your neck, and buries her face into your blouse.
"who've we got here?" spencer smiles, trying to catch verity's eye.
you look to emily for help and she places a reassuring hand on your lower back. "this is my girlfriend, and her daughter, verity."
for a minute no one says anything, and you debate running back out the front door and away from the prying eyes. you swallow the lump in your throat as emily's thumb traces soothing patterns against your lower back.
aaron cracks a tiny smile, something that looks to be a rare occurrence, and puts his hands on his hips. "it's nice to meet you, verity. how old are you?" verity pulls her face away from where it's buried in your blouse for just long enough to hold up four small fingers. "i have a son, jack, who's just a little bit older than you! he's five! maybe next time i could bring him and the two of you could play together? how does that sound?"
verity flails her legs about, a sign that she wants to be let down. you oblige, and she stands by your side, gripping your hand like a vice. "does jack like superheroes?"
aaron grins. "he does indeed."
verity juts her chin out. "then it's a date."
the team erupt into laughter and derek mutters something fondly about how jack will have his work cut out with this one.
emily pulls your chair out and you sit down, offering your girlfriend a smile in return. she sits beside you and verity makes herself comfortable in the chair on your other side. "i couldn't find a babysitter on such short notice, i'm sorry."
spencer dismisses you with a wave of his hand. "don't be. 66% of babysitters are between the ages of 11 to 13 anyway. did you know that?"
you smile. emily had filled you in about spencer’s rambling. while some people found it annoying, you found it endearing. “i didn’t know that."
derek leans across the table, using his elbows to prop himself up. "so..." he says to you. "what are your intentions with emily?" penelope whacks him across the back of the head. "what? it's a simple question!"
your face flushes scarlet. emily takes your hand under the table. "well, my intentions with emily are strictly confidential, if you know what i mean." you bat your lashes and rest your chin in the palm of your hand. you cover verity's ears. "does that answer your question or do you need the nitty gritty details of our sex life, too?"
jj bursts into a fit if giggles, aaron almost chokes on his red wine and derek ducks his head to hide his embarrassed smile.
"she's fiery," david notes. "i can see why you like her, em."
"well, i'm in love with emily," you announce. "and, unfortunately for you guys, i'm in it for the long haul, so you're stuck with me." you catch derek's eye from over the rim of your cocktail glass. "have you got a problem with that?"
derek tongues the inside of his cheek, smiles, and shakes his head. "not at all. i hope you don't mind me being rude, i was just seeing if you could hold your own, that's all. no hard feelings?"
you shake his hand across the table. "no hard feelings."
emily lets go of your hand to fold her arms across her chest. "im glad the air is cleared between the two of you, but if you ever pull a stunt like that again, i will castrate you."
"is that a threat?" derek muses.
"no," emily says, slipping her hand into yours. "It's a promise."
