Lockwood & Co Soundtrack appreciation
Today I'd love to send virtual kudos to composers of the original soundtrack to Lockwood & Co - The Flight and Christoph Bauschinger. They created edgy and memorable score to the series and it's currently on my morning get Up kick ass playlist. The track that I love the most is probably Graveyard Fight. It's such a banger I can't help but listen to on repeat every morning on my way to work.
Then there's emotional wreckage in both Lucy and Lockwood & An Ending. I was listening to An Ending for an hour the night the show cancellation was announced and it gave me a good cry, not gonna lie.
And then there's the track called Surrounded by Philistines which reminded me of the glory days of the original CSI:Crime Scene Investigation. If I didn't know it was composed for Lockwood & Co, I'd easily considered it being composed by John M. Keane (head composers for CSI, FYI).
And I believe we will hear more such bangers combined with the 80‘s music in future seasons because it just fucking works.

Hiiii 🌀✨💘 for your spotify wrapped (sorry if you've answered these numbers) 73,61, 21 - Sending you so much good energy for the rest of the week xx 💘❣️💌✨🥰
Thank you, beloved, I am hoarding all the cute emoji energy for this week for sure!
73: Cutter's Sacrifice by Christoph Bauschinger. I did have the Lockwood & Co soundtrack on pretty much constantly all summer, let's be honest.
61: The Other Side by Ruelle. Perfect angst for Black Winter era Lucy and Lockwood, this one has been on repeat for all my angstier fic writing.
21: The Comeback Kid by The Midnight. Definitely on like every fandom/writing playlist, and also just generally a vibe I need often; I'm all about that "conquered what life threw at me and I'm clinging to optimism despite despite despite" spirit.

2, 7, 22, 77 for your Spotify!!!!
2: Told You So by The Band CAMINO. This song is a BANGER, and was definitely a highlight of seeing them live again this year!
7: Ghost in the Valley by The Gray Havens. On both the Jesus Tunes playlist and Ghostbustin' With the Buds, because it reminds me of Lockwood seeing his parents' Shades by the apple tree. This song is so lovely but also so short, so I almost always listen to it multiple times in a row, which is probably why it's this high on the list. Was also one I played a lot while writing Not Even a Doorknob Between You, I think.
22: Can't Leave the Night by BADBADNOTGOOD. Listennnn, has any show ever had as excellent of an opening sequence as Lockwood & Co?! Song slaps, what can I say? Also I end up grinning like a goof every time I listen to it. And always cranking the volume to 11.
77: Lucy Escape by Christoph Bauschinger. Yeah, I listened to the L&C soundtrack way more than I realized...

The music was written by a duo called the Flight and Christoph Bauschinger. The Flight have worked on games like Horizon Zero Dawn (2017) and Assasin’s Creed Odyssey (2018). Bauschinger worked on Brassic 3 (2021) and The Exchange (2021). Both of them have their own stuff as well and if I’m correct, Tears Run Dry by The Flight is featured in the show as well.
