Dell knocked on Scotts door, awkwardly holding a large box as he did "hey, Scott" he called out "I heard a ways back you had a birthday coming up, I made you something for it." Inside the box was a new set of legs. He knew Scott might have needed new robotic legs, and wanted to do something special for him.

Scott groaned softly as he sat up on his bed, it’s fine, he wouldn’t be able to sleep anyway. The scout sighed as he got up and shuffled over to the door, suddenly swinging it open to reveal he was sleeping (well trying to anyway) in his tighty whities. At first he looked irritated but now… now he was just curious on what the deal was with that large box.

“Waddaya need Overalls?” he asked as he pretended to wipe sleep from his eyes with wrapped hands, his brow quirked up as he seemed surprised by the fact that Dell had made HIM something.

“oh uh really?” he sounded honestly touched before he puffed out his chest and put on a smug grin.

“well of course ya would gimmi dis crap, cause like… im da freakin best and totally earnt all dis!” ah theres that bravado. Hes taking the box and then placing it on his bed so it’s not so fucking awkward, ripping and wrapping off he pried it open and let out a loud gasp as he put his hand to his mouth.

“h-holy crap! D-dell… ya mean ya made dese jus’ fer me?”He sounded excited as he turned around and quickly hugged the other before he plopped down onto his bed, reaching just below his organic knee to detach the old prosthetic, he reached over to the other leg but above the mechanical knee, fiddling a bit before that popped off too, like a kid at Christmas he eagerly pulled the legs out of the box and after quickly checking which is which he attached them to himself before bouncing on the bed a little eagerly. New legs meant time to get used to how they work and how he needed to move to compensate for them.

“Dey feel lighta den da oddah ones… how da hell do ya keep makin em so light?” he asked as he started a sort of calibration by moving his legs in specific ways, he’s really happy he has lil toesies, thats when something hit him.

“wait da feet a thinner! holy crap ya two are freakin crazy! Justin jus came in too early wid his gift!” he said as he got to his new feet and kind of stumbled over towards his closet, throwing it open as he tippy toed and reached up for the top shoebox, throwing it open he pulled the shoes out, dropping them to the ground before he sat down and very excitedly pulled them on.

“you both are da freakin best, makin new legs n gettin me shoes! danks so freakin much Dell!”

went to the zoo today for a christmas lighta walk through and my god was it fucking crowded. last year we went on new years eve eve and there was peactically no one there, but there was this time. i really thought i was gonna start murdering people, it was like hoards of walkers from the walking dead but ignorant cleveland people 🤢🤮
