The German Trailer for 'Rivals' has dropped and I'm very happy with the voice acting. Tony Baddingham has the same voice as Crowley and Phileas Fogg. Can't wait for this show and will be watching it in Englisch and German. On Repeat.

Maya Fox character art, a cancelled series at Rainbow

As taken from the Fandom Wiki:

Maya Fox is a series of comics and novels from Rainbow SpA, an Italian studio that is well-known for its cartoon Winx Club. The series was co-created by Silvia Brena and Iginio Straffi (creator of Winx Club). Straffi also designed all of the series' characters, who are always shown in black-and-white.

The franchise was aimed at a "young adult" audience, dealing with murder mysteries and the end of the world, with gothic and emo aesthetics. A movie and a TV series were planned but ended up being quietly cancelled. Despite good comic books sales, the books were slammed critically.

Notice how similar the comic art is to Winx Club's artstyle! This may be Iginio Straffi's only known credited art outside of his Bonelli work.

A live action "trailer" to promote the series was made, narrated by Christian Iansante (who you may know for being RickSanchez's italian voice... and Gantlos). Warning for flashing lights!

david tennant as the tenth doctor may not voice crack a lot BUT david manet as the french dub tenth doctor and christian iansante as the italian dub tenth doctor both voice crack A Lot and 2/3 is a majority so as far as i'm concerned ten's voice cracking a lot is canon

Ok after watching some bits and pieces of the Good Omens italian dub I want to express some slightly more informed opinions:

Christian Iansante (Crowley) does a decent job, he's a great voice actor, he's just lacking, Idk, most of the queer vibes that Crowley needs. Also, dubbing David Tennant is fucking impossible, I'll give him that.

Alessio Cigliano (Aziraphale) doesn't just do a good job. This guy fucking understood the assignment. This guy came prepared. It's not a coincidence that this guy also dubbed Heath Ledger in Brokeback mountain. This guy saw Michael Sheen's efforts to make Aziraphale as gay and as horny and possible, and said "Don't worry brother, I've got you."

So, today I met the amazing Christian Iansante, the Italian dubber who played David Tennant in Doctor Who and Martin Freeman in Sherlock, but also Ewan McGregor, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and more... I asked him for an autograph and we talked about his projects....I'm still shaking and it's a miracle I didn't freak out when he spoke to me.

Ci ho pensato, sono sincero. Dalle mie parti c'era pure una filiale della scuola dei doppiatori di Pino Insegno. Roberto Pedicini, il doppiatore di Kevin "Kaiser Soze" Spacey è delle mie parti come pure Christian Iansante la voce del protagonista di Trainspotting, ma c'era una bella e severa preselezione per entrarci.

Dei clienti mi sono stufato sì, specie quando vogliono il loro logo più grande o più impattante e diosolosachealtro...
