Daisy Haites
Christian Hemmes's character evokes a profound sense of sadness and pity in me.
On page 196, "A feel good months, that's all I'm good for, I reckon."
It pains me to witness his belief in being undeserving of love and his fear of being merely a temporary fix. His emotions resonate with deep-seated insecurities and vulnerabilities that many people encounter in their relationships.
Understanding the reasons behind his feelings is comprehensible, considering his past experiences with Magnolia. It appears he has internalised a sense of unworthiness due to those experiences. As someone who enjoys romance, I firmly believe that every individual deserves love and affection. However, his persistent self-doubt hinders him from fully embracing it.
The weight of his failed relationship with Magnolia casts a shadow on his perception of the situation with Daisy, making him apprehensive that he might only be a fleeting solution until she returns to her past partner, Romeo. This fear immobilizes him, preventing him from fully committing to new relationships.
In the intricate tapestry of life, some individuals, paralyzed by the formidable fear of rejection, opt to forego the profound experience of love, sheltering themselves from potential heartache, yet missing out on the extraordinary joys and fulfillment it can bestow.
Sidenote: Brené Brown have a good special talking about vulnerability.

Opera on YouTube
I've shared links to complete opera performances before, but I love to share them, so I thought I'd make a few masterposts.
These list are by no means the only complete filmed performances of these operas on YouTube, but I decided that ten links for each opera was enough for now.
By the way, some of the subtitles are just a part of the video, while others require you to click CC to see them.

Welcome to HRT wrestling
I put on a random episode of RAW while applying my HRT today and thought I'd share my thoughts on the show with you.
Show opens with Eric Bishoff telling Batista to take a night off and Batista says "Nah ima stick around and have sex with Christy Hemme."
Eric introduces the Gold Rush tournament. A fun idea. It's basically a blind tournament.
This RAW set looks so fucking cool
Very fine Christian vs Kane match Lita is getting insane heat cause this was around the Matt/Edge time.
Christian eats shit on the outside it was funny.
1.75 stars
Divari/Hassan segment. I don't want to talk about it.
Weird segment with Visera wanting to fuck people and being interrupted by Simon Dean.
Dean actually has a great gimmick. A wrestler fitness guru is actually really fun.
Shelton Vs Shawn. SO GOOD. People usually just remember the superkick but it is a great match. Shawn gives Shelton so much here and even the win is off a sudden unexpected superkick.
4 stars
Hurricane and Rosey Vs La Resistance. I have nothing to say. Over before it began.
1.5 stars.
Edge vs Jericho is good work. But I can't tell who Im supposed to be cheering for. Both men are pricks in 05.
Crowd are chanting "WE WANT MATT" it's kind of sad that wwe are about to fire his arse.
Its crazy that the MITB briefcase is just like, an unmarked briefcase here.
Jericho kicked out of a briefcase shot but lost to the spear.
2 stars
JR gives a special Happy Birthday to the rock for some reason.
You know this tournament bracket is pretty good. Kane, Christian, Edge, Jericho, Shelton, Shawn, Hunter and a man who shall remain nameless.
God damn Master Lock challenge. I enjoy this shit gang. Masters offers 4k to anyone in the crowd who can break the Master Lock. It's such a good gimmick although I don't think it'd work today.
Commentary really try to get over calling the challenger 'Tubby', my guy is called James Defalco and is a normal sized man.
Masters fucking kills my guy James. I think Masters is pretty great in WWE. I love that the move was inherited by the man who broke it, Bobby Lashley.
It's weird to see 2000s Triple H without the Big Gold.
Lawler fucking will not stop saying that "Triple H did what he said he would do, he Pedigreed Batista"
Oh fuck. Trips is wrestling Benoit. I think we're going to call it there folks because I'd rather not watch this man wrestle.
Well, all in all. I really liked this show. The tournament gives a real feeling of a consistent story in this show. I love me a wrasslin show with a show long narrative.
I think this show is. A solid 3.5 stars. Could've been more with a watchable main event but an enjoyable time nonetheless.
