Album Number Four Hundred Fifty Six. “Burrito Deluxe” is the second album by the country rock group the #flyingburritobrothers , released in May 1970 on #aandmrecords , catalogue 4258. It is the last to feature #gramparsons prior to his dismissal from the group. It contains the first issued version of the Mick Jagger/Keith Richards-written song "#wildhorses ," released almost a year before #therollingstones own take on it appeared on #stickyfingers . My copy is on A&M Records - SP-4258. After the release of the group's debut album, ex-Byrd #michaelclarke was hired as the band's full-time drummer — he had recently been playing in another ex-Byrd, #geneclark 's band #dillardandclark . In the fall of 1969 bassist #chrisethridge left the Burrito Brothers in frustration at the band's lack of success. In his place the Burritos recruited guitarist #bernieleadon from the disintegrating Dillard and Clark, freeing #chrishillman to return to playing bass. Byrds, 1973, Asylum Records. The original line-up of the Byrds were reunited for this much anticipated album, however, several factors prevented it from being what it should have been. Crosby produced the album diminishing the signature Byrds sound and recording was rushed. Each member was to present their best material for the album, but all held back with the exception of Gene Clark who contributed "Full Circle" and "Changing Heart" as well as lead vocals on 2 cover songs.
