To tell you the truth, Nonnie, I’m not so sure anymore. I’m gonna finish up the ones that I’ve started and maybe try to focus on his character ones. But as of right now I probably won’t start any new ones. I was gonna do a Chris x Wife!Reader/OC story (again after I catch up on my other fics) but it’s definitely now on hiatus. This whole thing just turns my stomach, and I wish people would understand that some of us aren’t mad that he has a gf. It’s the fact that he’s supposed to stand for something good but then he decides to date someone who has never made amends for a problematic past. And that’s so disappointing.

They’d both be insanely supportive and proud of you of course, they love you to all end of the earth.

Chris especially because he’s always wanted a daughter because every dad wants to have the status of “girl dad” it’s all he ever dreamed of. So when he finally had you with your mum (his ex wife). You couldn’t wipe the smile off his face or the giddiness that was infectious.

When Chris and Alba got together when you were 13 of course you would shy away at first but you were like that with newer people in your life. Because she was going to be apart of your life, you saw the way your dad looked at her, how he was enchanted, the same look he had when he found out he was a girl dad 13 years ago. You knew he found the one.

Alba was nothing but kind and pleasant with you, she knew it would take time for you to get used to having her around but she’d always do it on your terms, it became a thing every 2 weeks at the weekend you’d go on a girls date and get your nails done. Because it’s an “Abla & y/n thing” or at least that’s what your dad called it.

She never expected to you to call her mum, but really you loved to have a maternal figure in your life, you’d expressed it to your uncle Scott that you loved it and that it was nice to now have someone else you could gossip about your girl problems to, but Scott was still the best at it.

When it came to friends and them coming over they were both more than happy to host them, as Chris knew more than Alba your friends were your rocks and they did help you though the tough time of when you were still really unsure of the relationship your dad had, because you felt it was new and a very sudden change that you didn’t cope too well with. Chloe, Ben and Millie were life lines for you too, and to be fair your whole family loved them too.

Looking back, Chris couldn’t be prouder of you, for accepting alba in to the family and into the little unit you and your dad had become after being alone in each others company for so long. It was just you and your dad. But now it was you, your dad and Alba.

Can I ask for a reading for Chris Evans and Alba Baptista?

Very much in their honeymoon phase so they only see the best out of each other.

I do feel sorry for Alba because some obsessive fans of Chris' can be quite.. crazy.

Chris likes how she's fun and down to earth. Chris also likes how she no nonsense and doesn't really give so much damn about her appearance/image. Chris finds Alba refreshing compared to the people that he has dated in the past.

Alba likes Chris' humor and how successful he is. Alba also feels they share a lot of interests and they connect emotionally. She likes talking to him and asking him for advice.

They're very happy right now, which is good. I do get this sense that going forward Chris may struggle a bit for his career like he sort of will always be known for that 1 role he played in Marvel. Alba I feel can sometimes feel like she's just known as Chris' wife.

Alba may also feel like sort of pulled back by Chris??? I see her getting more roles than Chris in the future and she might have more success with him in terms of her roles and getting more critical acclaim/praise for her acting. There's a possibility of her starring in some real big movie/series that'll make her even more famous. I do think Chris will feel threatened by her success and may discourage her from taking on some roles that can be a bit controversial (perhaps the scenes involve heavy nudity/s*x or like the plot itself can be controversial). Right now Chris is like her mentor and she looks up to him. Later as she gets more successful, she'll want to grow up and be more independent as an actress? Perhaps I'm not phrasing this so well but it's sort of like when a child becomes an adult and then the parent sometimes feels like they've lost something? Those vibes. I see the bulk of the tension within their marriage later be stemming from this.

If Chris wants to make the marriage work then he needs to accept that Alba will grow up and have her own thoughts and career and may not always seek his advice. He also has to be ok with her potentially becoming more well known than him/more praised by critics for her acting. Chris also needs to be sure that he doesn't resort to using alcohol or dr*gs or gambling or other vices to manage his stress.

Alba, if she wants to make the marriage work, should not look down on Chris if he doesn't earn as much as she does. (I don't see her doing that but there may be times when they argue in the future she might say something along those lines without thinking, like who's the one putting food on the table?)

The two may perhaps use their relationship as a way to boost their career in the future or may be encouraged to do so by their managers. I would strongly recommend that they don't do that because their relationship will turn all business like and just will make both feel unhappy.
