like crazy, with both the mv and choreo wasn’t even that bad, idk why people were so pressed about it. with the seven mv and people knowing that a woman was gonna star in this mv, people were saying ‘glad we at least got a heads up this time’ 🧍‍♀️ idk if it was just me but when i saw the like crazy mv for the first time and saw the girl, it wasn’t like— omg ‼️😟 woman???

normal human interaction is so fun to watch sometimes i’m so sad they didn’t show both of them just idk.. talking or something in the bangtan bomb or like conversing about what they both found challenging and what they both enjoyed about filming— not even necessarily what they about filming together but just idk their own experience because a lot of efforts went into that mv and it would have been so cool to see how the experience varied with sohee as a professional actor

people need to get a grip 😭 it’s not that big of a deal ‼️ let me watch people be people and talk about something cool they did

i don’t follow sohee’s social media so idk if she posted already, but i wanna see her outfits closer up. and her hair is really pretty LMAO so i wanted to see a cutie lil photo at least with all the cool outfits she wore

[12] FIRST IMPRESSIONS - just choreo

synopsis: riki was a big fan of your group Devilish, but when he met you for the first time, he made a very bad first impression and now you hated him. rumors started to spark saying how you hated each other and to calm the rumors, the company decided to make you two hosts a variety show together for two months. wc: 2k tw: lots of sexual tension

You arrived at the brightly lit practice room of Hybe Entertainment. You hurried a bit, the clock showing 10:03pm. You were three minutes late. Your bag slung over one shoulder, and your usual determined and focused expression on your face, even if you were exhausted. It was a hectic week with Devilish as you were preparing for your upcoming comeback. Yet, here you were, late at night rather than resting, obliged to rehearse this chore for the variety show. The production team thought it was a good idea to use both your and Riki's talent in dance and do a little choreo section in the next episode. Like you both already hadn't enough on your plates.

As you pushed open the door, the familiar beat of Under The Influence by Chris Brown resonated in the room as you saw Riki rehearsing the chores. You both received the demo just this morning and from what you saw, he almost had it down already, the same as you. He noticed you arriving in the mirror and stopped the music, offering you a cheeky grin.

"You're late,' he teased, walking over to grab his water bottle.

You dropped your bag near the corner, rolling your eyes, but a hint of a smile was playing on your lips. "3 minutes. I literally just got ut of practice with the girls."

"Oh please, I just finished practice too. Don't find excuses," his playful tone didn't irritate you as much as it used to, which honestly surprised you. But you guessed it was probably because of your actual conversation you had with him a few days ago.

You smirked slightly at his comment, pulling out your phone to glance at the choreo notes one last time. Your smile didn't go unnoticed by Riki, who felt his heart skip a beat for some reason.

"Did you have time to watch the demo?" he asked, trying to sound as casual as he could.

You nodded. "Yeah. I'm genuinely surprised they went with something so...suggestive."

He chuckled. "You and me both. But hey, it's a chance to show our chemistry, right?"

"What chemistry?"

He placed a hand over his heart, feigning hurt. "Ouch. You wound me."

You couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. "Let's just get started."

The two of you moved to the center of the room. You had studied the routine on your way here, but performing it in person was completely different, especially with him. You first started by reviewing the chores without music, trying out the formations and steps to make sure you were in complete sync. It was a bit intricate and required you to actually have cohesion.

When you reached the first section that required physical contact, Riki hesitated for a split second before tilting your chin upward with his fingertips. The action was quite brief but charged. Your breath hitched a bit unexpectedly as you realized just how close you were to each other, your eyes locking onto his. When he stepped around you as the choreo demanded, you felt a little pang of disappointment. What was happening?

"Too much?" Riki asked, a playful glint in his eyes as he noticed your reaction.

You scoffed, masking your unease by being a bit defensive. "I'm fine. It's just choreo."

The suggestive sections were next, and you could feel the heat of the room intensifying. He executed a sharp hip thrust while you popped your hips in perfect sync.

"Wow," you heard him mutter under his breath, but loud enough for you to catch.

"What?" you asked.

"You're actually really good at this," he admitted, his voice genuine, even if you caught him checking you out a bit in the mirror.

You blinked for a moment, a bit taken aback. "Uh, thanks. You're pretty good too."

"Pretty good?" he raised an eyebrow, feigning insult. "I'm incredible. Best dancer of 4th gen, and you know that."

You chuckled, swatting his baseball cap to pull it down ever so slightly. "Yeah, yeah sure. let's not get carried away, okay?"

He chuckled, too, and put his cap up a bit. You went through the choreo several times, doing it with music too. After a few times, you plopped down on the wooden floor, leaning back on your hands and catching your breath. You could feel the thin sheen of sweat on your body. Across from you, Riki sat cross-legged, chugging water from his bottle, and you couldn't help but let your eyes wander to his Adam's apple going up and down as he gulped. He then wiped the sweat from his forehead with the hem of his shirt, exposing his defined abs. You quickly looked away, pretending not to notice.

"That wasn't so bad..." you muttered, reaching for your own water bottle.

"We aced that," he said with a boyish grin, and you couldn't help yourself but smile as well.

You both laughed and talked a bit, the conversation flowing quite naturally between you two. You found yourself actually having a good time, the way you bantered a bit too made it interesting.

After a moment of comfortable silence, Riki cleared his throat, a hint of nervousness creeping into his expression. "Hey, uh...can I ask you something?"

You raised an eyeborw, curious. "What?"

He figedted with the hem of his shirt, avoiding your gaze. "Do you...maybe...want to exchange numbers? You know, since we're gonna be working together for a bit, we might wanna talk about schedule or...stuff."

You tilted your head, surprised. He was alwyas so confident and playful but he seemed quite shy now. It was almost, cute? "Sure,' you simply said, pulling out your phone.

His face lit up as he handed over his own phone. Your fingers brushed briefly during the exchange, and you felt a spark you quickly ignored. As you entered your number, he watched you with a small smile, trying not to make it obvious how giddy he felt.

“Here,” you said, handing his phone back. “Don’t text me at three in the morning or something. I need my beauty sleep.”

“Noted,” he replied, grinning. “I’ll make sure to only annoy you during waking hours.”

You rolled your eyes but couldn’t hide the small smile tugging at your lips. For a brief moment, you caught his gaze, and the air between you shifted. 

“Ready to go again?” You asked, breaking the silence as you stood up.

“Always,” Riki replied, his voice steady, though his heart was pounding.

You moved back into position, the track starting up once more. The choreography demanded precision and a level of intimacy that made the room feel smaller, hotter.

At one point, you decided to shed your oversized button-up, leaving you in just your sweatpants and a cropped tank top. You were completely oblivious to the effect this had on Riki, who suddenly found it difficult to concentrate. The way your tank top clung to you, revealing toned arms and just a hint of your midriff, made his throat dry.

Riki tried to focus on the choreography, but his eyes kept drifting to you. She’s so fucking hot, he thought, mentally scolding himself for letting his mind wander. He had to stay professional, but it was getting harder by the second.

You, on the other hand, was too engrossed in the routine to notice Riki’s internal struggle. You were, however, hyper-aware of your movements, the way your bodies seemed to naturally sync. Your styles complemented each other perfectly. It was like you were made to dance together, and the realization only added to the crackling energy between you.

As you reached the section where Riki had to tilt your chin, he hesitated for just a fraction of a second before doing it. His fingers brushed against your jaw, sending a shiver down your spine. You met his gaze, your lips parting slightly as you tried to steady your breathing.

You moved into the next section, the one with the suggestive grinding. You rolled your hips in sync with him as his hand rested on your shoulder, and you avoided his intense gaze in the mirror. The mirrors reflected your chemistry, the way your bodies moved as if drawn to each other. You tried to ignore the way your pulse quickened.

“Good,” You muttered breathlessly as you finished the sequence. “That was better.”

Riki nodded, though his focus wasn’t entirely on your words. He couldn’t stop staring at you, the way your hair clung to your neck, the flush on your cheeks. You looked incredible, and it was driving him crazy.

“Let’s run it one more time,” you said, your voice firm despite the growing tension.

“Yeah,” Riki replied, his tone slightly husky. “One more time.”

And you did. You ran it one last time, but as the music faded into silence, you and Riki stoof in the center of the practice room, your breaths heavy, your bodied inches apart. It was your best run through yet, every moment was perfectly synchronized.

Your chest rose and fell as you tried to catch your breath, your eyes locked on his. There was a look in his gaze you coudln't decipher, something that made your stomach twist in ways you didn't want to acknowledge. Your mind screamed at you to step back, but your feet refused to move somehow.

The tension was thick, alsmot suffocating and you both were hyper aware of hos close you were right now. He could feel the heat radiating off of you, and you could see the way his chest rose and fell with each deep breath he took. You hated how your pulse quickened and how your body was reacting to him.

He swallowed hard, his eyes flickering down your lips before snapping back up to your eyes. His hands twitched at his sides as if he was fighting the urge to touch you in any sort of way.

Your heart was pounding so hard you were sure he would hear it. You wanted to remind him that this wasn't allowed, that you both had some sort of dating ban to respect, but the pull between you was way stronger than logic.

He took a step closer now, and your faces were so closed that you could feel the warmth of his breath against your skin. Your eyes flickered to his lips and you hated yourself for it, hated the way you leaned ever so slightly, as if your body had a mind of its own.

Riki's hand hovered your waist, hesitating, as if he was giving you a chance to pull away of you wanted to. But you didn't. Your eyes locked, and in that split second, the outside world disappeared.

He leaned in, his movements slow, deliberate, as if he was afraid to scare you off. Your heart raced as you felt the barest brush of his nose against yours.

Your lips were a breath away from touching when a sudden noise shattered the silence—a loud thud from somewhere outside the practice room.

You jerked back as if you'd been burned, your eyes wide with panic. “I—” you stammered, your voice barely above a whisper. “I need to go.”

“Yn, wait—” Riki reached out, but You were already grabbing your stuff, your movements frantic.

“Good, uh... good practice today,” you said. Your voice was steadier now, though your heart was still pounding in your chest. “See you Friday.”

Riki stayed rooted in place, his hand falling to his side as he watched you flee. You pushed open the door and disappeared down the hallway, leaving him alone in the empty studio.

Riki ran a hand through his damp hair, letting out a frustrated sigh. His chest felt tight, his mind replaying the moment over and over again. He wanted you so, so bad.

The only sound in the room was the faint hum of the air conditioning, a stark contrast to the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside him. Riki sat down on the floor, his head in his hands, and whispered to himself, “What the fuck am I doing?”

Ever since you told Chris you wanted to actually start taking your singing career a little more seriously outside of just singing simply around the house annoying not only your boyfriend but also his brothers which are also your best friends and chris was and is continuing to be super supportive of you doing so. When you you released you first single and then everything only went up from there.

"dude youre single is soo good"

nick screams as he comes running down the stairs from his room to greet you and chris on the couch.

"stop you are just saying that"

you blush as chris starts agreeing with nick.

"no seriously i have not listened to anything else babe"

chris affirms laying his head on your shoulder.

"do you think you are going to release an album"

matt causually asks you all not realizing that chris was recording a moment to put on his story.

"i think-oop chris"

you exclaim as you turn to look over to see him filming you next to him.

"sorry sorry"

chris exclaims

"you need to delete that dude"

nick states chuckling.

Once you finally legitimately announced that you were actually going to release an album you never thought how much love it was going to actually receive enough for you to go on your first tour ever.

"babe my manager says im going on my first ever tour"

you squeal running into matts room seeing his was streaming music in there.

you congratulate you as you come over sit in his lap.

"yeah i guess bree said they really like the album and think it is time for a tour so we a month to prepare for it choreo and everything"

you mumble as your manager was texting you to ask if the triplets wanted to go.

"yeah we are so proud of her and everything"

nick states to the viewers on the stream.

"bree asks if yall want to go on tour with us"

you mumble out as chris wraps his arms around your waist.

"hell yeah"

matt exclaims as all them agree with bree's request.

"oh my gosh New York is so pretty at night"

you awe out as you and chris and your manager walk to the venue for your second show tonight for your tour.

' you ready for tonight'

chris asks you as you pacing as you have made it backstage in the venue after seeing the long ling of people out front for the show tonight, the nerves getting to you.

"hey its going to be okay you got this"

Chris reassures you by placing his hands on your shoulders. He sees that you didn't get a response to his first question and notices that you are going into full panic mode.

"no no what if i mess up or trip and fall"

you ramble out thinking of the unlikely.

"okay stop you are going to be fine this is the second show"

chris pauses you in your response placing a sweet kiss to your forehead.

"your going to kill it"

matt says as nick agrees placing a comforting hand on your shoulder.

" OH MY GOODNESS BOSTONN"

you scream out to the crowd in the microphone giggling as the crowd screams excitedly back at her. This was marking you sixth show out of 10 for your first tour ever.

"i think you guys know this next song"

you trail off looking and seeing chris stand on the left stage wing backstage with his brothers.

"its called love bomb"

you state softly catching your boyfriends eye as he smiles softly admiring your stage presence as the song begins.

"thats my girl"

chris mumbles for more of himself not realizing that his brothers heard him.

"jesus dude you are so whipped for her"

matt chuckles playfully trying to tickle chris' torso as chris rolls his eyes.

"shut up am not"

chris chuckles adjusting his backwards hat on his head as nick chimes in.

"dude we can see in your eyes and how you look at her"

nick chuckles.

"i mean look at her she just is-"

chris rushes out in completely awe watching as you sit at the end of the stage criss crossed holding the microphone towards the crowd for them to sing the next verse.

All my favorite things in Deadpool and Wolverine. Spoilers for the movie below, so read at your own risk.

Holy shit. I saw this movie yesterday and I loved it so much. I felt like the trailers were deceptive in a pretty clever way, showing what appears to be Wade having a great life post-Deadpool 2, and I thought that was a really smart move. Deadpool is not only my favorite marvel character, but also my favorite comic book character, and I was so happy to see that everything I loved about the character and how he’s written in the movies felt not only in tact but elevated. Anyway, here’s a list of some of my favorite parts of the film.

-The opening sequence with ‘Bye Bye Bye.’ I’m not even surprised that Wade would know the choreo. I love fights timed to music with dancing involved. It was so much fun!

-Wade calling Wolverine ‘peanut’ throughout. That was so funny! Also when he calls wolvie with his comic accurate height ‘short king.’ Of course he would.

-I honestly loved the dynamic between Wade and Logan as a whole. It’s been a while since I’ve seen any of the classic X-Men films but this really felt like Wolverine in his true form or something. There was just something about seeing him in costume, not bound by a PG-13 rating, and bantering and trading insults with Deadpool. I just really loved this take on him and his development throughout the story.

-Paradox and Cassandra were both very compelling villains. They were very entertaining and had some great moments throughout the film. Paradox’s intro especially stood out to me.

-Johnny. Storm. Have I seen those Fantastic Four movies? No. But I may go back and watch solely for Chris Evans’s Human Torch. I need to write a fic where he lives and he, Wade, and Logan end up in a trio because these specific versions of them would be such a chaotic team. I can see Wade and Johnny eventually hitting it off. I just want more of him.

-I wasn’t expecting Blade to be a favorite character, but he was fantastic. I’ve only seen Blade: Trinity, but I definitely plan on going back and watching the trilogy, because he was such a highlight for me this film.

-Logan and Laura’s dynamic! I haven’t seen Logan, but I loved seeing an older Laura interacting with an older version of her dad. There’s something bittersweet about it.

-The Deadpool Corps! I loved seeing all the different variants of Deadpool. The last thing I read with the corps was Deadpool Kills Deadpool, which wasn’t a huge deviation, but the scene and fight with them felt more fun and lighthearted (and most of them didn’t die!). Dogpool is absolutely adorable, and I loved seeing Ladypool at the front and center.

I’m going to be thinking about this movie for so long now and I’m so glad I got to see it so soon!

Would the dps boys like the 2023 Barbie movie/how would they react to it?

☆ THE POETS' THOUGHTS ON BARBIE ☆

(please bare in mind that these are teenage boys in the 60s)

NEIL: not really his kind of movie (he's one for indie arthouse stuff, and all the poets tease him about just wanting to sound cool and different), but loves the portrayal of struggles slowly chewing away at Barbie, resulting in a breakdown, and then the reveal of it all belonging to the human experience. It makes him feel understood in a small way. Plus he thought the Kens were hot but shhh

TODD: loves 👏 the 👏 colours 👏 the whole pastel vibe is super calming to him and he likes the music, and that end bit with the trees and montage bits? it definitely touches him, kinda like Keatings speeches do, plus it was his first entry to mainstream feminism (seeing that the boys literally have like zero contact with girls), giving him a chance to maybe do some research from then on!

CHARLIE: hot take but charlie would be annoyed by its portrayal of women's struggles, he'd totally be the type of guy to like chuckle a bit when the speech about how women have to be way too many things at once comes up. i know the book is not canon and the worst but there's a scene in there where charlie gets annoyed at Gloria being like "oh it's nice that you don't just wanna make out with me but also care about my inner values" and i think that is kinda true to Charlie (at least seeing how he pretends to create poetry for the girls to show off)? Ultimately, he did want girls to join Welton just so the boys could stop "beating off", and he is just a 16 year old boy when it comes down to it- so I think that he'd love the music and would definitely identify with Ken, but I'm afraid to say he'd make fun of the feminist aspect. He has room to grow though! I genuinely believe that Charlie learns and gets better <33

KNOX: LOVES it. Come on, tell me knox isn't absolutely in love with the movie and forces the poets to watch it again because this time he wants to sing along. Oh also think he'd talk about it with Chris to like see if she shares the experience described in the movie, and knox is pretty shocked to learn that huh, women do experience discrimination?? Tries his best to be extra nice and thoughtful afterwards

MEEKS: thought it was good, but could have been better. Meeks is definitely the poet with the most education on the women's rights movement and expected something a bit more fierce or outgoing, but he still appreciates that you have to please the masses and for people who know nothing about feminism at all, like most of his friends, it's a good starting point. Laughed SO much about the horse jokes.

PITTS: thought it was funny. didn't think about the message too much, just enjoyed the music and storytelling, plus he was a big fan of the reference at the beginning! Learns the I'm just Ken choreo with Knox, and has the songs stuck in his head for the next days.

CAMERON: surprisingly moved by it. I think he'd recognise both his parents in Barbie and Ken. I'm also of the belief that Cameron is super insecure, so I think that he'd identify with barbie a LOT, but feels kinda weird about that. Doesn't say much when asked about how he liked the movie by the others.

thank you @amrv-5 for tagging me!! this is actually so much fun because this year was the first year where i actually tracked each of the films i watched (because @cannibalismpdf informed me i actually had to log each film lmaoo) this year i watched 107 films, 71 of which were new to me. seeing 71 surprised me so much considering how many times i rewatch films paha, but here's my top nine!! (explanations for the top 9, and the runners-up under the cut!)

Alien - i truly can't believe it took me so long to watch this amazing ass film. i was on the edge of my seat the whole time and i understand why it's a classic

Bullet Train - got scared this was so overhyped by all the tiktoks edits i'd seen of it, but holy fuck i really don't think it is. it's so much fun and aaron taylor-johnson and brian tyree henry are a delightful highlight

But I'm a Cheerleader - how did this film come out in 1999????? like how???????? it's so beautiful while also being sad and hopeful at the same time, and watching this film made me realise why natasha lyonne is a queer icon <33

Chicago - once again surprised it took me this long to watch this film considering how much i love musicals and movie musicals but now that i finally have. oo booy!! love all the songs and the choreo is so good

Everything Everywhere All at Once - i will always regret not watching this film at the cinema because i would give anything to watch this on the big screen. someone i know is writing their diss on this film, on how its entire thing is just "nothing matters but positive" and yeah. yeah man. awoke something in me.

The Four Seasons - AHHH!!! i neeeeed to rewatch this holy shit, this is such a fun film and my favourite of alan alda's films i've watched (so far) by far!! the vibes are great but it's the friends as family trope that really gets to me

Paddington 2 - technically cheating with this because i love the entire trilogy (all of which i watched for the first time this year), but out of all of them paddington 2 was my favourite because i think it was the funniest and most charming of them all <3

The Telephone Box - omfg watch this. watch this right now. here on youtube, it's a short film, only about half an hour. and as a matter of fact i'm not gonna say anything about it. just watch it please. it has subtitles in many languages <33

The Wild Robot - the moment i saw the trailer for this film, i knew i'd adore it. and i was so right. i want to give chris sanders a hug. this film was so warm and beautiful and i cried through 3/4ths of it.

It's very interesting you bring this up btw. I remember making that gifset the above gif is from, and thinking about what dance he may be refering to there. I came to the conclusion that maybe there will be some dancing with Fiyeraba in W:FG that we haven't seen yet.

I think Dancing Through Life is not really them dancing together yet, it's more that they repeat some of the same movememnts. But they are still very much out of synch at this point, and that makes a lot of sense to me, considering where they are at their story.

But I do love the way your mind works, those movements are indeed quite similar! We should never underestimate Chris Scott and his incredible choreo, there is so much going on there.

1. Chris is the most caring person alive. I don't mean this lightly either because to be as selfless and understanding as him takes more than just effort and time, it takes heart and patience (even though he says he has none - we all know he does, in bucketloads). It's weird when even though you don't know the person, you can see their character shine through so well by how they interact with others.
