HOLD THE PHONES!

For those of you that have still been asking for more time to nominate... You have asked, and we have listened. As of today, the nominations form will remain open until NOON EST on Sunday 1/28/24.

Also, below the cut you will find a list of POTENTIAL nominees in case you want some more ideas. This list has been compiled from the FYCs put forward by the authors, and also by the nominations we have received so far.

Obviously, not all of the potential nominees will be nominated for each category. As per the rules, an entry can only be nominated for TWO categories for which the fic or art qualifies. Additionally, fics that have previously won (either in the TEAs or the CCAs) is ineligible. Mods have removed those fics/artwork based on currently available archives.

If you don't see a fic on the list that you think should be nominated, you can go ahead and nominate the fic. You are allowed as many unique entries on the nomination form as you would like.

I’m not sure if I’m doing this correctly or even if I should do this in the first place haha, but I started watching ouat and fell in love with Rumbelle early last year (just a few days after the Skin Deep anniversary actually). I mainly spent the rest of 2022 reblogging a lot of wonderful rumbelle stuff, but I did make a few video edits, and I’m quite proud of them.

So if you would consider voting Rumbelle Wedding or Rumbelle and Whouffaldi Parallels for Best Video then I would really appreciate it - thanks :)

The Monday Menu

It’s definitely Monday, and that’s all I have to say about that.

Giving another shout out for the Chipped Cup Awards. Don’t forget to nominate your favorite fics and writers. I’m looking forward to seeing the fics that make the ballot for this year. On the subject of which, I’m in the process of trying to sort through which of my fics might be eligible for nomination. Once I figure it out, I’ll put out a For Your Consideration post.

Writing wise, things have been slow, and my spoons have all been taken up with writing for work, but I WIll try to write something this week!

Here’s the plan for what this week might look like:

Monday - The Monday Menu - what it says on the box. A plan for the week.

Tuesday - TMI Tuesday. - Ask me… go on, anything. Ask my characters -they’ll answer. Nothing is off limits, but be sure you want the answer before you ask the question.

Wednesday - WIP Wednesday - Current state of my works in progress. So many - and still climbing!

Thursday - Three Things Thursday - any fic of mine is fair game. Doesn’t have to be Rumbelle, I have Rushbelle, a bunch of crossovers, some shows people might no know, some ST: DSC, some SGA and some Tolkien too… ask three things, I dare ya…! Please… This is also the day I’ll do the ‘Behind the Scenes’ post, which might just end up as part of the TTT post.

Friday - Final Line Friday. - Assuming I manage to write anything, I will post a word cloud, and the last line that I have written right before I post this.

Saturday - Saturday Secret - another one of those where you can ask about any fic, and I’ll tell (or show) you a secret. Feel free to follow up with conversation or guesses. I will tell you if you get something right. Again, no one took me up on the offer… so we might also have to think of another ‘SA’ post.

Sunday - Seven Sentence Sunday. - yeah, I have to write something to be able to post this.

my tes secret santa for @anotherclassicpretence! truth be told I've been having a tad bit of writer's block lately but some of your prompts were VERY interesting (I liked the idea of writing delphine before the main quest a lot... this more or less counts) so I hope I've done them justice. hope you're having a splendid holiday season!

“Steady on, Hilde,” Delphine says with a brusque, manufactured sort of calm. “You’ll do yourself a mischief.”

It's a relief, she thinks, that the day Hilde has elected to barge in with world-upending news is a convenient one; it isn’t as though Riverwood is the kind of place to attract crowds, most of the time (part of the reason she chose to live here at all) but the inn is unusually quiet now. Orgnar is nominally organising something in the cellar, which means that he’s spending an hour swapping two bottles around and calling it a day, and the dining hall is warmed to a swelter with the ever-going hearthfire, and utterly empty. No-one’s come in for lunch yet. No rooms rented out last night, either, so it’s all silent on that front; it’s just Delphine and her wet cotton cloth, wiping down the stained tables till they shine, and Hilde with her hair wrapped and her string of beads tangling round narrow, hard-knuckled fingers. She’s sat herself on the chair with the wobbly leg; it needs fixing soon. Ordinarily, Delphine would herd her onto another, but right now she doesn’t think there’s anything in the world that would get Hilde to listen.

“Hark at her!” she complains to the bead-string - all marbled glass dyed blue and red and yellow, clinking together on their leather cord. “Do a mischief - do a mischief - it’s as if she can’t bloody hear me -”

Delphine swipes the cloth over the chip in the corner of the table. “I hear you,” she replies (does she ever hear her). Hilde’s hands are white where the necklace bites into her skin; her lips are pinched into a puckered line. Her eyes are red-rimmed and fierce. “Hilde. I’m going to get you a drink to calm your nerves, and then we’ll talk it over properly, all right?”

“Talk it over,” Hilde repeats, high and scornful, and then her face screws up quite suddenly as if all the fight has fled it - the wrinkles in her cheeks deepening to uneasy valleys, knuckles pressed to the thin slat of her mouth, beads digging hard into her cheek. “Nine have mercy… thank you, Delphine.”

The inner corner of Delphine’s lip snags, near imperceptibly, between the blunt ends of her canines. She nods once, and she ducks behind the bar, folding the cloth with damp precision as she goes. The cask of ale is near empty, the mugs lined up on their shelf, sparkling clean, cutlery rattling around in its tin. It's not fancy - Riverwood is a small, old town, built on the bones of an older one, and no matter how well-run the inn has been since she bought it it's not exactly a prime destination, but it's a good sort of a place. And innkeeping is decent work. Keeps you busy. Keeps your ear to the ground. Gives you something to focus on, in the meantime -

When Delphine grabs a tankard, she notes with some incredulity that her hand is trembling. She stills it. She pours the ale until the cup rim is flecked with froth.

(There is a feeling rising in her body, foaming like the ale; a sour, stomach-turning excitement, as if she's in her twenties again and wet behind her ears, biting back all the intrigue. Like she has an unlined face and fresh armour and is standing again in line for her induction ceremony. Like she's staring something in the face and thinking, finally.)

Delphine caps the cask. She is not in her twenties, and she is not staring anything down; bar Hilde, a seventy year old woman with tannin-stained hands and the latest in a line of tall stories. Delphine didn't get this far (how far?) (still alive, isn’t she) through credulity. She's a pragmatist through and through - won't believe anything she hasn't seen evidence of with her own eyes; and yet.

And yet.

She sets the mug down on the table; a pale and lukewarm drop slides down the pewter, just next to the handle. She'll need to wipe it all down again, after this.

Hilde takes it, absent-minded; the beads slither from where they’re strung around her hands to rest in a smooth curve over her chest. Her hands are shaking - she doesn’t seem to notice, or if she does, she doesn’t stop them. There is a look about her, all of a sudden, that seems dreadfully, fixedly haunted, like a woman looking down the barrel of a cannon, some rapid-rigged explosive, something to level the town. Like she’s caught the apocalypse’s eye. Delphine reaches out, perfunctory, and pats the back of her hand; Hilde grimaces and downs half her tankard in one long, desperate swig.

Light’s coming in through the window-slats up by the rafters, dull and gold, dust motes in the shafts of it. It makes the white wimple of cloth swaddled hastily around Hilde’s head shine in places.

“Big as the mountain,” she mumbles into the lip of the tankard, fingers wrapped tight around its handle, “black as night - flew right over the barrow like something fit to block out the sun.”

Delphine’s teeth scrape over that spot at the corner of her lip. She can’t help but say, “Are you sure -”

“I know what I saw,” Hilde snaps. Her knuckles and lips are blanched and colourless. Liquid sloshes over the edge of her cup with her sharp, abortive gestures. “I saw a dragon.”

Delphine is very careful not to let her face do anything at all, there.

(It’s adrenaline, she knows; the pointed, muscle-coiled readiness to move - to act - to make a plan in service of a solid end and carry it off perfectly; the comfort of seeing possibility roll out before her like a long many-doored hallway, like a road she might be able to walk instead of these four walls she’s circled for too many years. Innkeeping is decent work - keeps her ear to the ground - keeps her busy in the interim, but it’s not what Delphine does, not what she’s been trained to do; not a purpose, not something to strive for, and oh, Divines -)

(None of this is substantiated. Delphine is not a rash and green youth, not anymore and not again, and she will not start running away with silly fantasies before she’s checked anything at all; she has had her fill of disappointment, and should know better than to invite it - should know better than to start spinning grand plans, before she’s even sent out some missives to the pale cobweb of contacts she has left - over the barrow; west, then - is there a significance, to the barrow? Does she have anything about it in her side room? Nine, it’s times like this she misses the old library and the mad old codger that kept it, and, no. No.)

(Yes.)

“It’ll come back,” Hilde’s saying with fearful certainty; lips flecked with spittle and beer-foam, hands still shaking. “It’ll come back, and it’ll kill us all, and then you’ll believe me -”

“I believe you,” Delphine tells her, and it is inexplicably, regrettably true. (She’s thinking about the library. She’s thinking about the dragonlore. She’s thinking that if dragons are back, someone will have to do something about it - and oh Divines how she has missed being the one to do something about it.)

Her hands are still, but only through some effort.

She feels like she’s been dozing for twenty years and only now has been shocked awake.

Hilde looks at her, white-mouthed and white-scarved; she frowns, a tense, sour thing, and she says doubtfully, “You look like you need a drink.”

Delphine laughs. It’s a short, gruff bark of sound. Her hands are flat on the tabletop; her hair is coming loose in thin wisps from the tight knot at the base of her skull. Sunlight trickles through the windows, golden-fresh. “No,” she says. “No, thank you, Hilde, I'm good."

Rant under the cut

At the time this posts, I will have had an appointment with a new PCP, discussing several medical concerns that I’ve encountered in recent years.

I feel scared. Scared that I’m wrong, scared that I’m right. And angry. Angry, both at the systems that require me to work past what I can handle and beg for help, and at my body, for not being able to hold me up. I’m ashamed of how much I am capable of doing. I’m ashamed of the recovery time I need. I’m ashamed that I’m still grappling with this internalized ableism, because obviously I would never say this shit to a friend about their needs or capabilities. And yet. Here I am. Thinking this about myself.

There was a comic I came across on here, years ago, about a person struggling with depression. They compared themself to a chipped tea cup: damaged and in need of repair, but not damaged enough to warrant immediate or intense repair. Like the chips in a cup, their symptoms were mild enough that they could be ignored or left untreated. They were still functional, albeit not as well, and not without issues. As a result, they felt small and shunted aside, both afraid of taking up space in depression communities, and angry that their clinicians and peers kept saying “it could be worse! you’re so functional! you don’t need (insert treatment here).”

I feel a lot of solidarity with this person’s experience in this moment.

I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with me. Google searches give me several answers which vaguely fit some of my symptoms, but nothing fits all of them. Either they fit the bill nominally but are way more severe than what I have going on, or they have a bunch of other symptoms I don’t have. I’ve looked at pages for so many chronic pain related disorders by now, and I still don’t have anything I can walk into the office with and say “I think something like this might be going on”.

When I was getting my autism diagnosis, I knew I was autistic. By that point, I’d known for over a year. It was just a matter of getting a clinician to verify it, so I could access accommodations. This is an entirely different beast. Everything I have is vague and hard to explain. I don’t have any diagnosis that I know of to reference, or another person like me to ask questions to. I don’t have EDS, at least. I’m not nearly that stretchy. That, at least, is easy-ish to check. I probably don’t have POTS, or PCOS, or endometriosis. That’s all the things I know my friends have. Beyond that, I can’t really ask people for their personal experiences with their own disabilities and compare notes. Because it’s incredibly invasive to ask random strangers about their medical history. But with my autism diagnosis, I knew several people who were already self-dx or professionally diagnosed with autism. I could easily talk about my experiences and compare it to theirs. It was easy to tell my clinician what was going on, because I’d already explained it and been told “yeah that sounds right for me, too”. People already knew. There was a lot of external validation for my experiences. It was a lot easier to trust myself, knowing that people I was close to agreed with me.

Now, I don’t have that luxury. Yes, my friends believe me, but they also don’t know what the fuck is wrong with me. Nobody does.

And then there’s the added wrinkle of coming to terms with my existing dissociative symptoms, which have possibly been going on for years without me recognizing them as dissociative, because I explained them away by “just being tired/loopy” or “ADHD memory gaps lol”. Working on mitigating my dissociation made my pain symptoms immediately and measurably worse. I have the dual-pronged issue of not being properly aware of my body’s condition, and losing large chunks of time and memory to something I can’t really control.

How do I even give a timeline for how long I’ve been in pain, given that? Or a baseline level? Do I just draw on post-grounding data?

I’ve been making a google doc with a list of everything I can think of. Hopefully I can give that to my doctor, and it’ll be more helpful.

And what if it’s something that isn’t easily fixed, or is poorly understood? Like fibromyalgia? Am I just screwed? I have a future I’ve been working towards. I want to get a PhD and join a clinical practice. I want to move to a new city where my friends are and get a job there and afford my rent. If I actually do have something beyond normal aches and pains, will I be able to do that? What if it’s something progressive, and I have to move back in with my parents? I won’t have a partner to rely on in the future to help take care of me if I need it. I know this is already the reality for a lot of people, and I don’t mean to imply that their lives aren’t worth living, or that they’re tragic figures for needing full-time care. I mean that, for me, moving in with my parents would limit or reverse a lot of the things in my life that currently bring me joy.

And all of this is assuming that I’m not making this up, or exaggerating or hyper focusing on normal life events and conditions, and that this new doctor believes me even if I’m right. Yeah, I was in a lot of pain after standing up for hours at a concert, but wasn’t everybody? Yes, I’m still sore two days later, but isn’t that normal? Yes, my fingers, wrist, and elbow are all sore and tingly hours after doing homework; I was coloring a lot. Maybe my pencil grip is just bad? Maybe it was just a lot of work? It did take me 4 hours. Yes, I run out of energy quickly and want to lay down after one or two big tasks, like grocery shopping or going to class. Doesn’t everyone get tired running errands? What’s the threshold for being tired? What if this is just an autism/sensory thing?

Honestly I’ll be lucky if I can get to even ask these questions. I’ll be happy to get this doctor to look past the number on the scale and actually recommend me something besides cutting down on sugar and carbs.

I guess the central conflict is, I need to somehow convince a stranger to believe me, and I don’t even know if I believe myself. Heaven help me. We’ll see what happens.

it was a big day for austin. you were doing just fine before the actual award show started. the car ride was almost silent, both overtaken by your nerves. you'd been to several events with austin in the past, but nothing like this. so many big name celebrities and so many cameras, it wasn't really your thing but you wanted to support him. you brushed your own nerves aside and took austin's hand, squeezing it tight. not a single word was said, but austin felt himself slowly relax under your touch.

once you arrived, you gave austin one final kiss before making your way inside the venue as he left for his red carpet duties. your relationship was public, but you and austin wanted to keep it as private as possible. the more people that came in and sat around you, the more nervous you got. baz came in shortly after, smiling and giving you a hug before taking a seat at the table. "austin should be in soon." he said in your ear. you nodded, giving him a thumbs up. to kill time and calm your nerves, your eyes wandered around the venue, looking and naming off the various actors and actresses that you knew and what movies and shows you knew them from. austin came in a few minutes before the show started, apparently being the last one to enter the venue. "sorry, baby. people kept stoppin' to talk" he sighed, sitting next to you.

austin was bouncing his leg up and down the entire time leading up to his nomination. you couldn't help but tear up when his name was announced, everyone at the table happily standing up and cheering for him. you smiled widely as he cupped your face to kiss you before making his way to the stage to give his speech. you were smiling the entire time, the camera even panning to the whole table looking at austin proudly. baz playfully pinched you at the mention of you in his speech, causing you to roll your eyes playfully. you were so incredibly proud of austin and couldn't wait for him to return to properly congratulate him.

however, after he accepted his award, he was off doing a couple interviews outside before returning back to the table, leaving you alone with everyone at the table. it was getting a little too much for you. nobody was really speaking with you. everything was suddenly louder than usual, your ears were ringing and suddenly more sensitive. someone else won an award, causing the venue to errupt in cheers which made it worse. why were the glasses clinking so loud? and the sound of chairs scraping the floor? you had to resist hunching over and covering your ears with your hands, not wanting to cause a scene. that didn't stop tears from forming at the corner of your eyes, you anxiously bounced your leg under the table as you looked down to pick at your freshly done nails from yesterday, chipping away at the black nail polish.

it was getting frustrating waiting for austin, you just wanted him back now. it was taking everything in you to not cause a scene and cry for him, unfortunately your nails had taken a beating instead. when austin finally returned, he noticed the sudden change in you, walking over and sitting back down, lifting your chin and wiping away your tears with his thumb. he could see the hurt and vulnerability in your eyes, your expression softening at his touch. "baby?" you sniffled slightly, shaking your head and not wanting to ruin the night for him. "what's going on?" he asked, rubbing your arm gently.

you wanted to reply, but nothing could come out. "i-i-i..." you started, not being able to find the words. it only upset you more, causing you to stomp your feet a few times, prompting a few looks from people at the table. austin waved his hand, gesturing that everything was fine. the award show was going on longer than expected, so he couldn't just take you and go considering there was one more nomination for the movie. at this point, he knew you had slipped, he just hoped nobody caught on for your sake.

"it's okay." he cooed. then there were more loud cheers, causing you to wince and anxiously go back to your nails. he frowned, taking ahold of one of your hands and bringing them back down to your lap. "let's not do that." he said, softly.

austin scooted himself closer to you, "c'mere." you rested your head on his shoulder as he wrapped an arm around you, resting his other arm on the table. "we'll get out of here soon, i know it's loud." he held you close, sighing. "we'll have a nice, quiet celebration at home, wouldn't that be nice? get outta these fancy clothes and put a movie on. you did so good today, baby. my big girl." austin wanted an excuse to get out of going to the after party anyway, he'd rather celebrate with you. "if they had an award for best baby, it'd go straight to you." he grinned.

you let out a tired giggle, snuggling more into his neck and closing your eyes.

"mm, just doze off for a lil', i'll wake you when it's over." he rubbed your side and placed a kiss on the top of your scalp. he doesn't know how you did it, but you dozed off for twenty minutes or so before he gently woke you up to leave. austin came up with an excuse to skip the party, to which he went straight home and had his own celebration with you.

For Your Consideration

2023 year was my first year in the fandom (well, technically 2022 was my first year in the fandom and the year I made my Belle rp blog, but in terms of actually contributing something to the fandom 2023 was my first year).

I started it off with great ambitions regarding writing and gifing and editing. I ended up posting only a handful of gifsets, three ficlets, two of which I wrote for Rumbelle Showdown (shoutout to @jackabelle73 for hosting this wonderful event last year, by the way), and 0 fanvids/edits. I'm not particularly proud of it, and I really, really wanna make much more content this year. We'll see how it goes 😅

Anyway, I still decided to give participating in @the-chipped-cup-awards a try. It looked fun last year, when I was only a bystander.

Year In Review (For Your Consideration)

With the Chipped Cup Awards coming up, I thought I would collect all the fics I started in 2023 and have them in one convenient location. (Nominations for the Chipped Cup Awards can be made on older fics, but you'll have to dig through my works page yourself and see what fics haven't already won CCAs or TEAs.)

In 2023, I wrote:

Well, it's that time of year again. What time of year, you say? Oh, hello there, Rumbelle newbies, I see you there, busily working away on filling out the ballot for the Chipped Cup Awards and flailing happily if some of your fics were nominated. Congratulations, and good, you should be in the right mood.

This is a fairy tale fandom, so let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, in the early times of the fandom, some of the Rumbelle writers looked at each other and said "Let's make all the Rumbellers cry". This challenge was taken up, and the Rumbelle War commenced, in which works of great angst and darkness were written. Readers cried and cursed the writers, who cackled evilly as they collected the broken hearts which were flung at their feet, and tucked them away in boxes and bags and old wooden card catalog drawers (because Rumbellers are big on libraries).

But because there must be light to balance the darkness, a new event was created -- FLUFFAPALOOZA.

Fluffapalooza is when you write and draw and gif the fluffiest fics/art/scenes you can think of. Haven't got the time or spoons to do any of that but you've got ideas? Post them as prompts, or headcanons! Or if you want a challenge, make a post announcing that you want to play "Fluffify this!" and invite people to send you angsty-sounding prompts in the form of sentence starters, which you will then sneer at and say "Not today! Today is for fluff!" and write a little prompt fill in which you turn that prompt into something fluffy. (See an example here.) Or maybe you just want to rhapsodise about Rumbelle and talk about their chemistry, or what the ship means to you and how it affected your life. Maybe you want to reminisce about how we started adding silly Rumbelle captions to every picture of a croc or gator or lizard that crossed our dashes. Anything goes! For Your Consideration (CCA 2023)

Hi All,

Somehow it’s awards time of year again. I debated whether to do one of these or not because I didn’t really write much nor was I very online over the past year (thanks chronic vestibular migraines!). But with the CCAs(@the-chipped-cup-awards) being new, I want to help them get off the ground (if I can).

Many of fics never quite seem to fit into the award categories. Sadly “Silly, Dark Castle Fluff” is not a category in its own right because that’s what many of them are. So please feel free to nominate many fic in other categories if you think they would work.

The Dark One Doesn’t Get Sick:

The Dark One doesn't get sick. Or so he claims. But since the he clearly has a terrible cold, Belle takes it upon herself to care for him and make him rest up. Cue one baffled, grouchy patient.

Belle and Mr. Gold first encounter each other when she's just sixteen and the connection is palpable. Two years later a missed bus to Boston throws them together again igniting a flicker of hope in them both. But if Gold has learned anything it's that life can be cruel and it seems Belle has been on the receiving end of its cruelty one too many times.

The Chipped Cup Awards are upon us, and so I’ve been looking through my fics from this past year, and also older fics, and trying to figure out in what categories they might fit. Here are my suggestions, but of course, if you have a different favorite fic that you would like to nominate, please feel free to do so.

Deck the Halls - Events - Rumbelle Secret Santa

Belle, Doctor Rush's graduate assistant, gets caught trying to decorate his office, earning her a rather unexpected invitation. Nicholas Rush finds a note from the past that inspires him to extend that invitation, and things get somewhat out of hand when the pair find themselves acting on their repressed feelings.

(In)discreet Math - Best Anyelle

Rush is drinking away his frustration at not being able to find the key to the Ninth Chevron. Too drunk to drive home, Belle, a student in his math class, insists on driving him home. He invites her in for a nightcap, where both of them act upon secret desires they have been suppressing for too long.

Inheritance - Rumple as Dark One, Dark One Lore, Best Unexpected Twist, Best first meeting,

Seriousness and hijinks combine when Belle simply believes she has inherited an old cottage, and a house of gold, but all is not as innocent as it seems.

Missing Person - Best Mr. Gold

Weird things start to happen when Belle explores the idea of getting a tattoo. Reality and unreality mix and mingle, and someone goes missing.

Beauty Compelled - Best Trope

Years ago, Moe French indebted himself to the nobleman, Mister Gold. Unable to pay the debt by any other means, he promises his daughter, Belle, in marriage to Gold. Now, on the day of her 18th Birthday, the contract is to be honored, and Belle must go to her new home, Adelram Hall, and to meet her husband-to-be, Mister Gold, who has a reputation for darkness.

Beauty Enlightened - Best Belle

Lady Belle of Adelram Hall is dismayed to find her husband-to-be missing, and is brought to find, and to save him, by the man who confesses his love for Rumplestiltskin.

Looking In from the Almost Outside - Best Gideon

Gideon tells his father of his mother's worry, and so Rumplestiltskin shows his wife that he, too, is happy.

A Blade for Belfrey - Best Bobby Squared, Best Crossover

Edinburgh meets Glasgow as Weaver and Begbie clash when Begbie's alter ego, Jim Francis is commissioned by Victoria Belfrey to produce a work of art for a business rival. Rumplestiltskin, somehow suspecting Weaver an incarnation of himself, tries to take a back seat - but Belle needs otherwise.

Awakening - Best One Shot, Best Afterlife

Weaver is dreaming or halucinating after Alice shot him, but suddenly everything starts to make sense as he gives in to what he sees and feels, even from beyond the grave, his beloved saves him.

The Gold Fleece - Best One Shot.

Belle wakes from a coma with no memory of who she is. Following a suggestion from her therapist she seeks to take up a craft she used to do /before/ as a way to jog her memory. After making a deal with Storybrooke's craft store owner, it seems that the good Doctor Hopper may have been right... or was he?

Prima - Best Golden Beauty

Detectives Weaver and Rogers stumble upon a crime at a local theater where they meet the Prima Ballerina, Anabelle French in the process of apparently committing agravated assault with a deadly weapon, but as Weaver investigates, he discovers there is far more to it than a simple crime, and he is forced to run to a place of safety with his suspect in tow.

Rack ‘Em Up - Best Golden Lace, Smut PWP, Best One Shot

Gold indulges Lacey with a night out at the Rabbit Hole, and she teases him while hustling the other patrons at pool. This is a game that Lacey is playing to win, but the money's not the object.

Gilded - Best One Shot, Best Rumple as the Dark One

Belle fears she is to become trapped in a gilded cage of her father, and Lord Gaston's making, with no relief and no way to be herself... until she meets the enigmatic little man trapped in the darkest, shadowed corner of the castle's library...

Witness Protection - Best Novel Length

The Wife and Daughter of Massachusetts’ Governor, Maurice French, have been kidnapped. As the authorities raid the compound where they’re being held, his daughter, Belle, makes her own bid for freedom but is injured in the attempt before being taken into protective custody by Agent Milnor. Fearing for her life, Milnor calls upon an old friend to protect her; to keep her safe. A task that becomes imperative, as well as personal. Professional lines blur and the threat draws closer.

Fallen - Best Creature AU

Belle finds herself inhabiting the consciousness of a demon. When she finds a fallen angel, she begins to recognise the strand of darkness within herself. Not necessarily 'evil' but certainly not innocence and light. Who could she be if she embraced that darkness, and... shouldn't she be looking for Rumplestiltskin? Meanwhile, Rumplestiltskin finds himself in the conscisousness of an angel... falling.

Hatter - Best Crossover, Best AU Based on Other Media

Belle's consciousness is kidnapped as she tries to return from the latest test of the Fairy Curse. Running out of time to bring her back to her body and save her, Rumplestiltskin persuades Jefferson to use the Hat to take them to where they need to be in order to retrieve it, trouble is... it turns out to be the one place in all the realms that Jefferson NEVER wanted to see again.

Two Could - Best AU - Original

Belle and Rumple jump into the bodies of two pirates. When the King's Navy blockade the harbor, the decision must be made to run the gauntlet, or wait out the siege, but two captains seek another way, and seal their alliance in a way that only pirates could.
