1- What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?

Either singing or playing an instrument! Probably the piano. I always wanted to learn music, but I dedicate all my time to writing, and I’ve had IssuesTM around my family that still make it very hard for me to feel free to practice singing or the like. I would... really love to learn, actually. 

2- What job would you be terrible at?

...I know this is probably not the answer you were looking for, but honestly, any kind of sex work. The sex-repulsed asexual in me would just absolutely and utterly refuse to cooperate. 

3- What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch?

13 Reasons Why! Initially I wanted to avoid triggering myself, now I refuse to check it out because I’ve heard way too much shit about how they handled mental illness that I don’t really approve of. 

4- What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?

Hmm... general history of K-Pop maybe, to keep in theme with this blog? Or to go more off-topic, LGBT+ identities outside of the initial four letters, and the erasure issues in media.

5- Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?

I’d have to say probably this one really luxurious hotel in Turkey my family visited around... six years ago? It was isolated from the rest of the world, a small bubble where for the first and last time I got the chance to experience living comfortably with literally unlimited food and kind workers who would always be ready to help and-slash-or entertain. Most of all, I loved meeting kids from all around Europe, and getting to play with them regardless of linguistic barriers. Not a lifestyle I would choose, but definitely gave me an interesting outview. 

6- What kind of art do you enjoy most?

The writer in me wants to say writing, the performer says acting. If storytelling counts as an art - which it does, because I said so, then definitely that. Artists can create a small kind of magic with their art, and I have never loved that magic as much as when listening to a story, or telling one myself. We can create entire worlds and lives with our minds, put them into a little bubble of existence into our own physical dimension with our voice and gestures- then burst it when the story is over, knowing full well we conjured something whose traces still survive, and always will. Just... storytelling, man. 

7- Who inspires you to be better?

The person I would like to be able to be three years from now. I can’t strive to be my best if I can’t be the one to hold myself accountable for who I am. 

8- What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?

Oooh, uh... I like some One Direction songs, actually! I would rather die than admit it irl, and I’m not really into them, but I do enjoy some of their stuff. 

9- What do you hope your last words will be?

If I’m gonna be sappy, “I was happy”. If I’m gonna be That Person... “I won, bitch”, me @ life

10- If your life was a book, what would its title be?

“I have no idea what is going on and I don’t want to know anymore but we’ll probably somehow make it: a terrible autobiography you should totally read”

I mean... I’d buy it. 

11- If you could have a video of any one event in your life, what event would you choose?

My first kiss? It held no romantic intent, it was with a random girl whom I was playing a pepero game with and got carried away, but I would still like to be able to replay it. I think about it a lot.
