In written chinese, the character 魔 (mó) can mean : Demon, Devil, Fiend, wicked force, magic.

It is made of two components : - 麻 Hemp, Cannabis and - 鬼 Evil spirit So, a Demon is literally an « Evil spirit of the cannabis ».

The character 魔 was originally used to translate the sanskrit word मार (Māra) when the first buddhist missionaries came to China from India. In buddhism, Māra is the malignant Demon King who tries to stop Siddartha Gautama from achieving enlightenment by tempting him with visions and illusions. Māra is the dreaded Lord of Illusions. The reason for this translation is that the ancient chinese medicine was well aware of the psychoactives effects of the cannabis and its entheogenic properties, and therefore the link with the illusions of Māra is then simple and easy to understand.

Merhaba, Çince öğrenirken kullandığın kaynak ve uygulamalardan bahsedebilir misin? Sence en yararlı olan hangisiydi?

merhabaa, her uygulamanın güçlü ya da eksik yanları var orası muhakkak. çince için hellochinese, drops, chinesewriter uygulamaları en çok işime yarayanlar oldu, hâlâ da kullanıyorum hepsini. busuu ve duolingo da kullandım, busuu'nun kendine has bazı içerikleri olduğu için sevdiğim yanları oldu ama ilerleme durumu çok iyi değil, yani bir dersi yaptığın anda hemen onları tamamen öğrendiğini varsayıp sana direkt daha zor bir ders çıkarıyor o yüzden çok fazla yararlı gelmiyor bana. hellochinese direkt çince üzerine bir uygulama olduğu için hem seviyeler güzel tasarlanmış hem de sürekli tekrar yaptırıyor önceki derslerden. konuşma egzersizleri de çok daha iyi çünkü tonları yanlış söylediğinde hemen anlıyor, duolingo böyle değil mesela, duolingo'da tonlar ayırt edilmiyor. drops görsel bir uygulama, yeni kelime öğrenirken özellikle çok işe yarıyor. kesinlikle faydalı olduğunu düşünüyorum. ama tek başına kullanırsan yeterli olmaz, kelime öğrenmek adına ek olarak kullanılacak bir şey. chinesewriter karakterlerin yazılışı konusunda beni eğiten en favori uygulamam. çince'de şöyle bir durum var, karakterleri yazarken her çizgiyi belli bir sıraya göre çiziyorsun, kafana göre yazmıyorsun. bu aslında çok işe yarar bir şey, bunun mantığını kafada oturttuğun zaman en komplike karakterleri bile kafanda parçalarına ayırıp kolayca yazabiliyorsun, çünkü neyin önce geleceğini biliyorsun. en basit örneği, 好，iyi demek, 女 ve 子 karakterlerinin birleşimini görüyorsun aslında, bölmesi kolay, bu mantık oturdukça diğer karakterleri de böyle görmeye başlıyorsun 想=木+目+心 gibi, chinesewriter bu anlamda bence çok çok yararlı. çince bir sözlük yararlı olabilir, ben hanping diye bi sözlük kullanıyorum telefonda, daha iyileri de vardır, bu konuda çok bilgim yok, ama bu benim işimi görüyor. podcastler yine dinleme egzersizi için yararlı, chinesepod tavsiye edebilirim, dinleyip anlayınca da insanın motivasyonu yükseliyor. bir de hellotalk kullanıyorum, o da native speaker bulmak için faydalı, uygulamalarda gördüğün ile konuşma dili farklı oluyor biliyorsun ki, bu açıdan native'leri duymak da faydalı. konuşma odalarında çince odaları dinlemek benim için keyifli oluyordu, bir de çinli insanların yanlışlarını düzeltmesi daha faydalı. orada canlı ders yapan insanlar falan da var. sanırım şimdilik aklıma gelenler bu kadar. müzik dinlemek ve dizi film izlemek de dile maruz kalmak, dili duymak açısından önemli. çince çalışıyor musun yoksa meraktan mı sordun bilmiyorum ama dilersen bununla ilgili de playlist paylaşabilir ya da dizi film program vs tavsiye edebilirim
