“Ok, let's take five and then we’ll go again!” The choreographer called.

Gratefully, you slumped down to the floor, letting your head rest against the wall as you took a few deep breaths. Comebacks were always exhausting, but this new choreo you’d been working on was really kicking your butt.

Letting your eyes fall shut, you made a mental note to try and make the next single be something slower, only to be jolted out of your train of thought by the sound of your phone.

Quickly digging it out of your bag, you couldn’t help the small grin that crept across your face as you read the caller ID. “💖Chimmy💖”

“Hey you.” You answered.

“Hey, uh, I have a huge favor to ask, and I need you to not hate me.” Jimin said quickly, sounding stressed.

“I would never hate you.” You replied.

“Would you be my dance partner?”

“What?” You blinked.

“Jinsol’s sick, and we need someone to fill in for this weekend's performance.” He explained. “I know it’s short notice, and you’re doing promotions right now too, but you’re one of the only other people who already knows the choreo.”

“Would the company be okay with us doing that?” You asked. Although it wasn’t a secret that you and Jimin were ‘close’, the exact status of your relationship was, and you knew that performing like this would inevitably stir up rumors.

“They said they could make it work, if you agreed.”

You considered it for a moment before speaking again. “Which days would you need me to cover?” You asked.

“Just Saturday.”

You sat up a little straighter. “Jimin… That’s Music Bank.” You said, stating the obvious.

“I know.”

“I’m also performing on Music Bank?”

“I know.” He repeated. “You can say no, it’s totally okay, I just had the thought-”

“No, I’ll do it.” You said quickly. The chance to actually perform with your boyfriend was not one you were keen on passing up, however sudden and hectic it might be.

“You will?!” He exclaimed.

“Yeah, sure.” You replied. “The managers will probably hate it, But what the hell?”

“Ah, Y/n, thank you!!” He cried through the phone. “I’ll find a way to pay you back for this, I promise!”

“You better,” You giggled at his enthusiasm. “I’m risking the wrath of army here.”

“They’ll behave, don’t worry.” He said. “I gotta go and update everyone, I’ll call you again later. Love you.”

“Love you too.” You replied, hanging up and taking another deep breath.

Well, this weekend just got more interesting…

The next two days were filled with ducking between rehearsals, wanting to make sure you had the choreo for ‘Like Crazy’ down perfectly. Jimin had taught you the main portion of the dance a couple months ago as he was getting ready for promotions, but you still had to get the hang of dancing with the group for the other sections.

Now, as you were weaving through the crowded backstage area to catch up with the rest of Jimin's team and quickly change outfits, you were beginning to feel the pre-show nerves settling in, despite having just finished your own performance.

As soon as Jimin caught sight of you, he tackled you in a tight hug.

“You did amazing out there!” He said excitedly, giving you a squeeze before releasing you.

“You watched?”

“Of course I did!” He said, cocking his head at you. “What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn’t support my amazingly talented partner?”

Before you could come up with a retort, you were all being called to the stage. You and the others watched from the side as Jimin went out and greeted the crowd, thanking them all for coming and expressing how he hoped they would like the performance.

As the lights went down and you and the other dancers moved to your places, you heard a couple surprised shouts of your name, making you bite back a grin as you glanced back at Jimin. He shot you a quick smile and thumbs up before turning away.

As the music started, you took a deep breath, your earlier jitters quickly dissolving as you let everything else fade away, focusing only on following the others and Jimin.

When you reached the solo part of the song that was just you and Jimin, you had to bite back another smile as the two of you made eye contact as he sang, sending him a quick wink before you spun behind him, hearing the slightest waver in his voice as he fought back a laugh.

The rest of the dance went smoothly, and almost too soon, you were back in the starting position as the final notes of the song faded out, only to be immediately replaced by the crowd’s thunderous cheers.

Everyone quickly ducked off stage and headed back to the dressing rooms in flurry, you and a couple of the other dancers talking and complementing each other on the performance. After a few minutes, Jimin managed to pull you off to the side, pressing a quick, enthusiastic kiss to your lips.

“Thank you so much.” He whispered.

“You’re welcome.” You said. “Although, you know you’re gonna get in trouble for making moves on your dancers like this.”

“I can’t help it,” He whined. “You were too cute out there.”

“Do you think the fans liked it?”

“I hope so, I know I did.” He said.

“I’ve noticed.” You giggled as he tried to kiss you again, only to be interrupted by the sound of your names being called as your teams tried to find you.

He groaned. “We’d better go. Can I come over later?” He asked.

“You better, you still owe me payment for today, remember?” You teased.

“I’ll have to come up with something really good.” He grinned before slipping out the door ahead of you.

Did you see that post from the army who visited the restaurant where Jk had his golden listening party? They posted a picture of where vminkook sat and according to the pic jimkook were seated next to each other while Tae sat at the far end across the table and the restaurant reposted it to their stories. Why do you think taekook weren’t sitting together?

They say that's where JK sat. They don't specify how they know where Jimin and Tae sat but they say in a later story that their friend is friends with the owner. Their little Tata and Chimmy suggest they possibly know something. They also seem to be a JK fan with a sideline in Taekook sometimes so it's reasonable to assume this is accurate and without agenda.

Maybe you're worried, anon, and that's ok and I am extending a hug but I'm going to be firm: I absolutely cannot get excited about "They didn't sit next to each other at a party full of people JK knew?!" It is of zero consequence to me.

This is the kind of argument I had at primary school and if Jimkookettes are running with it, I just feel bad for them.

But let's fathom it out a bit:

Who was in attendance... Not sure of numbers but we know RM, Jimin, Yoongi, a couple of Tae's friends (Peakboy, Seojoon and Bada from memory) and some other people.

How many seats round the table from Tae to JK? One beside him, two opposite him next to JK. Enough for Tae's friends and then JK to be on the BTS half, right?

I know some of you don't like when I say Yoonmin stuff like this - as ever I'm not shipping as such but acknowledging their very close bond - but I'm gonna: I don't think Jimin would necessarily choose to sit away from especially Yoongi.

But wouldn't he choose to sit with Namjoon too?! At a party where it's not a load of your friends, you'd seek out your closest people, right? And as far as we know, Jimin isn't tight with Woogas or anything.

You know? What if that's the only configuration that worked? What if JK hadn't seen Yoongi for a while? Tae's chatting to his friends - not just his friends but his CLOSEST friends - that were there...

Or... they just opted to sit apart.

None of this seems like alarm bells to me.

Also call me crazy but isn't it bad practice to not mingle with the guests at a party full of people when you're the host?! I don't think you're supposed to limpet yourself to your spouses side? Or am I just excessively British?

Hi! I'm a casual ymner I'd say but, i'm pretty on the fence about believing in them. I saw something on twitter recently and wanted to get your opinion on it.

I've seen people posting pictures of jm's dad's cafe and especially the type of decor around the place. I'm not pointing this out to stir anything but, there's a lot of jm focused merch obviously and, a lot of jk merch as well (e.g. kookie figurines and plushies). I saw a photo of their christmas tree and the only bt21 ornaments on it were of chimmy and kookie. Their christmas trees from previous years only had those two as well. There are also chimmy and kookie figurines dotted everywhere in the cafe.

I've also seen that jm's dad had jk's hat (which had 'jungkook' written across it) displayed next to one of jm's hats. It doesn't seem like he has any other member's clothing or merch displayed.

If ymn were a couple, wouldn’t it make sense that out of all the other members, it would be yoongi's stuff that would be dispalyed alongside jm's? That's his literal dad's cafe after all?

To me, the reason we see some references to Jk at the cafe is very simple: both Jimin and Jk are from Busan.

I think sometimes it helps to take off our shipping goggles and try to view things through a non-shipping lens. I try to do this with yoonmin moments, although none of us are truly objective. Yes, some things are clues, but not everything.

The cafe held events for Jimin’s birthday, of course, but also for Jungkook’s, Yoongi’s, and Hobi’s (and the other members as well I assume, although it’s hard to find examples now that a lot of the cafe’s social media posts have been deleted.)

I wasn't caring about JM-JK merches in MAGNATE until I saw papa Park's billing system. He got chimmies, PTD jimin and a cookie on system where he takes orders. No way someone would leave it there as it's inside the counter. Only explanation is he took some figures from the gifts on the table and decorated there lol. Man picked 5 toys of his son and 1 his son in law's 🤡. They recently decorated it with Christmas hangings and cookie is still there ☝🤓

Sorry to jkkrs but I agree with anon. Nobody even knows if JK was there for sure, it was posted on Jimin's ig, people are going there dressed up as Jimin recreating his pose with their chimmy charms talking about sitting in the same seat as him but it's 'jikook' impact? Lol come on. Surely JK has enough achievements that we don't need to do attribute things like this that have so little to do with him.

The Victoria justice line I think relates to what she said once in an interview. A cast mate of her got complimented for singing well and she chimes in with a "we all sing well!". Ok. I finally get it.

I agree with you all and the other anon.

In this case, it was all about Jimin because that's who was in the photo and whose trend people were following.

It was the Jimin impact only.

However, too many Jimin pages have completely pretended that Jk isn't there at all.

I feel that even though they don't necessarily need to update about Jk especifically, acting like he is invisible (when he is clearly there in some instances like airport) is just bad taste... especially since this is a work trip after all.

A jikook page would update on this trip better but I guess we don't have any of those, so those that do talk about the trip shouldn't ignore Jk completely either IF he is clearly there in a particular moment or photo.

That's just my opinion.

I think you're like the fourth person I've seen who gets truly excited over BT21, and you seem so genuinely excited I couldn't help but smile reading this.

BT21 is a series that reminds me of Saturday morning cartoons when I was a kid but sometimes I'm impressed with how that series tackles adult and mature themes in an 'easy', heart-warming, wholesome way. I saw Hobi talk about Mang's mask coming off (i.e. the face reveal) but didn't catch the other character updates, so thanks for the updates anon.

I agree with you BT21 is lovely (though personally, it's not often interesting enough for me to follow consistently. With all these character developments that might change soon though, and that again would be a brilliant marketing move from BigHit as one more way fans remain engaged with (*cough* spending money on) the group during 'hiatus').

I know you feel that way, but jikookers and taekookers are both equally to blame for the shipping wars, both shippers have made up this elaborate narratives in their head that anything the tannies do to disrupt that, they get loud and start fighting one another or the tannies themselves.

We have jikookers actually saying not so nice things about tae when he talks about or posts something about jk. But its easier for them to not be so bitter about or think too much on it because there usually is an avalanche of jikookery that makes them forget all about it.

Its the exact opposite for the taekookers because whatever little taekookery they get is quickly covered up either by jm or jk, showing them up. The sadness/disappointment they must feel festers into hate against jm and jk in a variety of ways. There is more hate against jm simply because he is the most famous. Jk doesn't count for them because he is just a child without any sense of self.

Obviously, I am not defending anyone, but I get where taekookers are coming from.

What I don't understand is how you become taekooker without no taekook content at all ?

I love how they looked out for Y/n! Jimin walking her over and giving her his phone, them strutting into the bar just to watch over her, Yoongi and the drink fight. Not to mention the husbands working together to take the bigoted asshole down. Please I want this to be a movie! And them conforming her at the end made me literally melt. ‘Home is where Chimmy is’ That double meaning got me crying a waterfall.
