I sighed laying on the couch snuggled up in a blanket waiting for a certain male to come home. I was worried since he didn't answer my text and he was supposed to be home a long time ago. I watched YouTube videos to keep myself occupied and awake for that matter. I sat up after finishing the random video I was watching. I walked to the kitchen to get a snack. I stretched on the way there and heard the door unlocking. I smiled softly as I grabbed a cookie from the jar and walked to the hallway at the same time Jimin opened the door.

"Holy shit" Jimin jumped. "What are you still doing up? It's 12:45"

"Couldn't sleep" I said shrugging as I ate my cookie. "Was worried"

"Why?" He said taking his shoes off and walking over to me.

"I sent you a text about an hour and a half ago and you didn't respond."

"A text? I sent one back" He said taking his phone out from his pocket and unlocking it looking at his text messages and seeing the unsent message. "I forgot to press send"

I laughed looking at him as he showed me his phone. I hugged him to which he hugged me back.

"You look exhausted let's get you ready for bed and then we can cuddle yeah?" I said grabbing his hand.

"Yes mam," He said walking to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

I grabbed my toothbrush from our bathroom and went to the guest bathroom to brush my teeth. I sighed and left the toothbrush in the guest bathroom and walked to the living room. I grabbed the blanket I was using and brought it back into the bedroom. I rolled in bed and under the covers. I tried my best to fight sleep waiting for Jimin to hop in bed. I heard the door open and close along with the soft rustling of fabric. Not a minute later did I feel a dip in the bed and arms around me. I turned over to face Jimin whose hair was still wet.

"You getting me all wet" I whined.

"Woah there" He laughed.

"Pervert" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh really?" He said before shaking his head to get even more water everywhere.

"Stop that," I said hitting his chest lightly and smiling.

"Fine fine," He said pulling me closer as I wrapped my arms around his torso.

"Why were you so late?" I asked sleepily.

"Practice went longer than usual because of the comeback," He said running his fingers through my hair gently. "We decided to go out to get a proper meal after, I saw your text and I thought I pressed send but guess not"

"It's okay" I whispered drifting in and out of sleep.

"Sleep my love," He said kissing my forehead. "I love you"

"I love you too," I said before finally letting sleep take over. Jimin smiled and kept running his hand through my hair before falling asleep as well.

Kpop Dream Log 63: with BTS

June 3, 2024, Monday

I was in some sort of dystopian world. It was kinda desert-like with miles of pale orange-red sands and dirt. I was with BTS and we were covered in light scraps of clothing from head to toe to protect us from the sun. We’d been walking for days scavenging for food and supplies and were heading back to our base camp. 

This place was like a plaza that had been made to look like an oldies western town. The buildings were made of cement but the outside façades looked like saloons and wooden homes with porches. There were even some adobe looking homes and there was a 7 or 8 foot cement wall that went around the property that looked like it was made of red clay dirt. It had a huge black iron gate.

In this world there were monsters. I’m not sure if they were aliens or just hybrids but it was because of them that this whole dystopian era had started. I was walking and talking with Hoseok and Jimin when suddenly a monster appears. We engage in battle with him and soon we capture him. He had to be about 9 feet tall. We called him Wolf because he looked like a werewolf or lycan. He was very thin, as if he was emaciated from hunger, but I believe that was just his normal physique. He had a long snout and his mouth typically hung open, his tongue dangling out. He was horrifying to look at. He didn’t speak English but made grunting noises.

I’m not sure why exactly we didn’t kill him at first, but as time went on (we were very far from home), I began to sort of bond with Wolf and could understand him. He told me he hadn’t been there to harm us, someone from our camp had sent him looking for us to warn us of danger that had come. The guys couldn’t understand him and wouldn’t believe me and said I was just soft. Jungkook was his biggest hater and kept saying he couldn’t wait for us to arrive so we could see Wolf was lying and he could finally kill him.

Well, we arrive and the gates are wide open. Inside it’s a mess and we can’t find any of our people. We hear a child whimpering in the outside area of a canteena. She’s behind a bush and steps out with her hands up. The minute she is in view, shooting begins.

The weapons being used all appear to be rough, home-built contraptions that shoot blasts of light or fire. Nothing looked mass manufactured. 

I take cover behind a pillar trying to locate the source of the shooting. The rest of the guys run and roll as they dash to take cover as well and provide support. Jungkook and Wolf run straight for the little girl. I can see JungKook’s determined face from where I’m crouched. His eyes look so fierce they are black against his deeply tanned skin as he tries to reach her before Wolf. Wolf is much faster though and is standing next to the girl, her little arms wrapped around one of his legs.

This brings Jungkook to a skidding halt in confusion. The girl doesn’t look scared of Wolf. She looks like she is clinging to him for comfort. Wolf raises a weapon he had found and points it at Jungkook. The confusion on JungKook's face turns to terror as he realizes he’s about to die. I watch his Adam’s apple bob in his throat and raise my own weapon wondering if I had been wrong this whole time about Wolf. Two weapons dispatch a blast almost simultaneously and Jungkook braces for impact, but there is none. At least not to him. A ball of fire shoots past him towards Wolf and the girl, just barely missing Jungkook as he had dodged to the left when Wolf had shot. The thin beam from Wolf’s gun goes past Jungkook as well and he hears a grunt not far behind him from a window in a building. Jungkook whirls around and sees someone fall from the second floor window then turns back around to catch sight of the fireball hitting the wall behind Wolf and the girl. He darts towards them as the wall begins to crumble. Instead of falling back with the blast, the ball had hit it more towards the ground, so the wall begins to fall towards them instead.

Wolf positions his body over Jungkook and the girl and suddenly Jungkook can understand him.

“Take the girl and run,” Wolf shouts. “I can’t hold the wall up much longer.”

JungKook nods as he snatches up the girl. 

“I’m sorry,” he tells Wolf.

He tucks the girl into his chest and rolls a few times as the wall begins to fall and bury Wolf. He shoots up onto his feet and runs for cover with the girl.

There is some sort of time jump and I’m sitting on the floor drawing Jungkook how I remembered him before. The drawing is in charcoal from the fires we make. Jungkook has baggy black jeans, an oversized shirt and a black beanie in the drawing. He’s smiling to the point his eyes have turned to crescent moons and he had the peace sign up by his face. 

Jungkook walks towards me and I sit up so I can look at him. He scoffs at my drawing.

“You shouldn’t waste your time on things that will never be again.”

I press my lips together, sad to hear those words. He had taken Wolf’s death very badly and though we had rebuilt since then, Jungkook just has not been the same.

“Heading out?” I ask, standing and dusting the charcoal from my hands. He nods, still no smile on his face. I really missed the silly goofy Jungkook I had initially known. “I can go with you if you give me a sec. I’ve got a pack made up.”

I see his jaw tick as he clenches it and I wake up.

POV: That one time Jimin almost killed Jungkook.

While you and Jimin were checking up on each other via facetime, Jungkook had other plans.

“Jugeullae” - 죽을래 means “do you want to die?” (It is usually used between friends like when someone plays a prank on you)

Jimin had been busy with all the promotions for the upcoming release of their new album. It was that time yet again. The band’s schedule was packed and they barely even had time to rest in between the late night shootings, recordings and dance practice.

Jimin could only thank the universe that he had been blessed with a girlfriend like you who was beyond understanding of all the chaos that came along with having him as your boyfriend.

You were never the clingy type and you’ve always let him do what he had to do as Jimin- member of BTS.

You have come to accept early on that at the end of the day, beyond all the glitz and the glamour, and no matter how busy he would be, he’ll always be Jimin- your doting boyfriend.

It was almost past midnight on a Friday. You were enjoying your nightly Netflix binge, when the face of your handsome boyfriend flashed on your phone screen signaling he wanted to facetime.

You were too excited to finally have the time to see him after days of not being with him, you answer the call without even bothering to pause the now soon to be forgotten episode of “Friends”.

Jimin: “Hi Baby.. i miss youuu—��

You didn’t even have the chance to say a proper “hello” when the phone was suddenly snatched from your boyfriend and all you were able to hear were the loud hollers from whoever was running away with his phone.

You could only standby and watch as the screen went dark and you hear a scuffle. And more teasing erupted from the background. Apparently, the boys were all together. Probably sharing a drink or two at the dorms.

**yaaah!!! Jugeullae!!?? Give it back!!! Yah!!!** ,

You hear Jimin’s slightly muffled shouts in the background. Probably running after the culprit.

**hahaha!! Come and get it!! Babieee~~(kissing sounds)**

You: “Babe? Hello??.. what’s happening? Guys??”

**hey! Is that y/n?!**

**y/niieee!!! I miss you!! Y/nnnn-yah~~**

**hahaha Y/niiee, tell your boyfriend to not kill our Jungkookie.”

**Yah! Yah!! Hajimaaaa!!! Hajimaaa!!! Aisssshhh!!!**

**hey, both of you, STOB IT!”

**Jeon Jungkook!!! You little shit!! I’m going to strangle you!!**

You: “Baby!? What’s going on?… Chim??”

A bit of silence and muffled voices, then Jungkook appears on the screen.

Jungkook: “Yah, noona! Why are you not here, hmm? You should be drinking with us you know. I miss you already!”

You: “Kookie!! Of course, I miss you too!”

Jungkook: “hahaha, JIMIN hyung!!! Do you hear that? Your girl misses ME. Not you!”

You: “hey!! I didn’t say that!!”

Jungkook: “He’s coming, he’s coming!! Hahaha! Jimin hyung is going crazy without you here, noona!”

**yah!! Give it now. While i’m still being nice. Give it back now!**

You hear Jimin panting in the background, annoyance laced thickly in his warning. Jungkook is really asking for some good old beating.

But then he switches the camera to coo at Jimin’s face.

Jungkook: “Noona, Just look at him..”

You: “Aww baby, how are you this cute??! Kookie, can you let me say hi to my boyfriend now!!? I miss my mochi.”

Hearing your doting words had Jimin melt into a puddle of slush. And Jungkook got away with a handful of smacks at the back of his head.
