Mini Life Update

I have been MIA for the past God knows how long. Life has been a crazy hectic and I'd be lying if I said I'm back to normalcy cause it won't be😂 Why? Well....

I'm getting married...

I'm graduating

Andd I'm starting a job and moving to a new country

all in the span of 3 months 😂

And no, I promise I'm not kidding. This year has been an amazing, generous one so far and I'm so grateful to be starting all these new chapters in my life.

I'm glad I have a little bit of a break until the craziness starts again so until then, I'll enjoy these few weeks of calm to myself 😁

I do however reeeeeallly miss Detective Conan. Most of all, I wish writing on this platform and sharing news and opinions with all of you. I'm sorry for not answering the questions in my Inbox, I will do better and answer them as soon as I can. I don't even remember what was the last chapter I read from the Manga, nor the last episode I watched 😂 I do know for sure that I been slacking.

I do know the latest movie has been out and I really hope I can watch it soon, even more so I hope I'm not disappointed by the plot 😅

okay, part two of my favourite "little moments" in uk newsies!! (part one can be found here). spoilers ahead ofc

when jacobi took the seltzer back from albert, race stole it from him and then jacobi promptly stole in back. idk, it was just sweet that jacobi clearly knew the boys so well that he anticipated exactly what race would do.

the reaction to jack saying "who wants brooklyn?" LMFAOOO. two newsies actually put their bags on their heads.

something they added to sieze the day which was a really nice touch was that all the newsies said their names and put their hands on hearts and stood in like a triangle formation on stage. it was like they were pledging themselves to the strike and it made it feel so much more personal (like it forced you to think about it on an indivdual level almost)

and then similarly to that, jack's speech before the strike was so well delivered!! (michael was absolute perfection). i've seen other people comment on this too, but he made it so much more deliberate and meaningful. like when he said that kids should be at school instead of working, he stopped and was talking directly to les. or when he said "there's no crime to being poor" he held one newsie's eyes (not sure who) until they agreed. it felt a lot more personal!

the way les got hoisted up into the sky by a rope when the fighting broke out with the cops 😭

after the strike failure and just before santa fe, newspapers fluttered down from the ceiling. it was such a literal depiction of how everything had failed, MY GOD.

i'm gonna make a separate post about KoNY because holy shit, but kath wore a crown of spoons during it which was very cute
