I just know in my heart of hearts that in "Star Trek" at one point, there was some moral panic somewhere on Vulcan (among the uppity sorts) because Human culture was "infecting" the local youth with their overly emotional, destructive, unproductive, frivolous, and uneducational ways.

And what was actually happening was that a bunch of Vulcan kids got really into 23rd-century "Minecraft" or something.

Small Vulcan child @ another Vulcan child: (in a tone that sounds flat to Humans but angry as hell to Vulcans) "You have compromised the optimization of my fortress. I am having an emotional urge to blow up your house... in Minecraft."

The fact that Lock, who doesn't know jack about the soul swap thing, thinks of Cale, who is physically only like 5 years older than him, as his father is hilarious on so many levels. Like, not even a hyung, straight up father. Granted, Cale does kind of sort of think of his as a son, but that's because he's an old man on the inside. Lock really looked at this guy no more than 5 years older than himself and went, yup, that's dad right there. The little ones may hesitate to call him that but I will not.

The master narrative is whatever ideological script that is being imposed by the people in authority on everybody else. The master fiction, history, it has a certain point of view. So, when these little girls see that the most prized gift that they can get at Christmastime is this little white doll, that’s the master narrative speaking: “This is beautiful. This is lovely, and you’re not it.”

Can u imagine? In infinity nikki, we re probanly gonna get animated cutscenes, in 3d, of the fucked up things that happen in nikki games. War and destruction are a core part of the lore of nikkiverse, so seeing nothing of the sort would be odd...... also the contrast between cutesy dress up visuals and a child dying in front of nikki would be amazing to see lol

I remember my father teaching me how to swear once. I think it was mostly mimicking a dialogue in a TV serial. I said 'what's wrong with you?', repeating the dialogue of the female lead in the serial. He corrected me saying it's "what the hell is wrong with you?".

Now I want Cale to do that for one of the children. Which one? Doesn't matter. Could be any one. I think On would be more likely to say it to someone but all three are equally likely to ask that if the other person is Clopeh. Especially Raon.
