ooooh hehehe so I got this question twice, and answered the first time with my actual favorite non-adar shots... SO I’M DOING THE REVERSE WITH THIS ONE.

What the fuck did I just watch?

Finally got around to Mayfair Witches. I already knew about Ciprien, so I expected some liberties there. While everything involving Deirdre felt right, everything involving Rowan felt wrong. (Except for the shapeshifter scene. That was just 100% fucked)

I’ve said previously that every Season 1 tends to be rough, and every Season 1 Episode 1 tends to be hot garbage. …and the transition from book to screen requires changes. But this? I’m at a loss. It’s far from the steaming pile of chihuawarg shit that the Tolkien inspired fanfic called The Rings of Power gave us, but still. I’m getting a “fanfic inspired by” vibe here that I don’t like.

Overall, I’m just disappointed.

BTW, In the season preview… was that Cortland talking to Rowan? Was that Rowan leading a witches circle and becoming possessed!?

Once again, we have another Friday on our hands! Time to celebrate with Adar, Elendil, and Warg over in the Coffee Shop AU on the delivery of chapter 6!

Trop episode 3 impressions:

-I saw people commenting on Galadriel being angry and rude to everybody and yeah they were not wrong, but If I wake up on a boat that takes me to a place where everyone stares at me with distrust and openly hostility and speak to me like I'm a criminal, I would also be hostile in return to them like her. I just wish Galadriel would take it easy and control her outbursts, she's making it hard to like her and her storyline.

-Numenor is absolutely beautiful, every single shot and scenery was breathtaking 10/10

-I like Halbrand he's cool, I hope he is Sauron, I can see how he could charm people and fool them into trust him.

-Damn Harfoots are surprisingly heartless huh, they would left for dead anyone not healthy and abled enough. Friendship ended with Harfoots now Dwarves are my best friends.

-Poor Arondir I want him to escape or be rescued already. The warg was so funny because anyone familiar with Chihuahuas know they are demonic and terrifying so I can see why the monster design department made this Chihuawarg beast.

-Tbh I don't care who Adar is, probably he's only the orc's handler or a random underlying. I don't think he is anyone important.

People suck. We all know that. People who review bomb are the worst and are destroying the internet.

The House of Gucci rating below is an example of what the histogram should look like: a bell curve. Real people submitting reasonable reviews, forming a general consensus.

The Rings of Power rating? Complete and utter crap, useless by any interpretation, generated by fuckwits and bots who have an agenda OTHER than reviewing the show.

The RoP ratings are either 1 (so bad it makes 80s schlock horror look like Oscar material) or 10 (so life changing it makes Game of Thrones look like a grammar school play). I call bullshit.

If pressed, I’d have to give RoP a 3. I don’t care for the script and can’t find a character I like. But the CGI and overall presentation is not bad… except for the #Chihuawarg.
