Most of it is copy pasted from the wip post, but I also have some ✨️ design notes ✨️ for some of my designs of each of @naffeclipse's boys! And my version of yn/reader lol. There is also some new additions to the design notes lol

yn/reader: so there are some hats that have a little veil attached to them called mosquito hats (learned this after searching sun hats once) and I figured that'd probably be something we'd wear out in the jungle!

SJ eclipse/Vinicius: remember how when sj eclipse dies, one of his optics are very damaged? I decided to make that a part of my version of vinicius's design by giving him a scar on his left eye >:]

SJ moon/Meztli: attached to his hood is an appendage on the back of his head, similar to a tail, and at the end of it there is something like a rattlesnakes rattle!

CS Eclipse/Tlhoolcha: Hes got two hoods! One of them is bigger and almost always hanging, and he often uses it to cover his face, especially when its dark and when hes guiding us back to safety so you dont see what he looks like and what he is (I headcanon that we do know he is a naga, we just dont want to spoil it for him). He is also a big sweetie (at least compared to the others not including meztli and helio) and he calls us heart, so I decided to give him a heart on his chest <3

SID Eclipse Sun and Moon/Saulo Inacio and Luan: Saulo doesnt have many scars as I headcanon that he doesnt get into fights that often, but! What happened to his hood, why is a whole chink of it ripped off? Oh well, same reason why Inacio is missing a chunk of his, and why Luan once had two of what Meztli has but doesnt have either! They got into a (un)friendly little fight UwU. Also I have no regrets towards making inacio and luan goth. Yes it was accidental no there were no regrets

DE Eclipse/Jacare: so um (stares at the more detail I put into him) its uh totes clear that hes my least favorite, yeah? Yeah? Hey wait guys no where are you going I have actual design notes for him I swear- So I feel like he'd be very eager to show off certain things hes gained from his hunts, so I decided that man wears jewelry made of bones of his kills, most of them being from tougher, bigger, and/or more sentient creatures. And he wears one very sharp one of his tail with a ribbon wrapped around the base of it and his tail to keep it on lol. Also I suddenly decided that I like the way he looks with his face and under belly and such being white so uh yeah.

I made so many mistakes, like at least one with every one of them god damn it gahh 😭

Well they still turned out alright, they look cute hnngg

His name is Dolly (nickname)! He’s an ex-pop of some variety (no idea if i wanna make him a prime asset or not because i feel like id breach mary sue territory ((im the only person who cares abt that)) and hgh)…he’s mostly mute due to his mask muffling his voice!! the mask has a tube that goes into his mouth and down his throat to basically force him to breathe <\3

He’s VERY clingy and affectionate to the other ex-pops, specifically Coyle, Franco, & Gooseberry. They don’t necessarily return his affections but they can’t do anything but take it, not like they can kill him, though it’s nice sometimes when he’s not trailing behind them like a lost dog

He’s particularly keen on Coyle, not in a romantic sense (or sexual, or anything really) but he sees him as an authority figure only because he was a cop. Coyle enjoys that part but not when he interrupts his “investigations” to grab his arm or something. He tends to hug him from behind which will scare the shit out Coyle if he’s not paying attention, and he will thrash until Dolly either lets go or he gives up lmao 😭

With Franco, they both don’t really know what to make of each other but Dolly thinks he’s adorable (in a murder-y sense HAHA), usually doting on him or trying to coddle him randomly. Which Franco gets a kick out of unless he’s actually trying to do something then he looses his rag a bit at him (and Gooseberry makes him say sorry) ((he won’t))

Gooseberry is Dolly’s FAVORITE, mostly because out of all the prime assets she’s the most receptive towards his physical affection, always accepting his hugs and doesn’t mind that he follows her around. She is after all a “mother”, so to her he’s just a clingy child. However if he breaks anything in the orphanage she will put him on time out 😓

He’s confused by the reagents mostly, he’s not the brightest and has no idea why they run away from him, however he does tend to hurl explosives at people for shits and gigs so maybe that’s why (he won’t put two and two together)

Pitcher, Pusher & the grunts find him more than a little irritating, mostly because he tends to get in the way of them doing their jobs (murdering reagents)

He’s easily stunned and a good brick to the face will knock him flat for a bit, but he all thinks this is a fun little game </3

Dolly’s whole get up is inspired by the one gimp outfit from the unholy night pack, haven’t figured out a lore reason why he’d wear it other than he’s gay i guess, but he does like to cross dress (much to the disgruntlement of Coyle, who has probably hurled a few slurs at him from time to time, Gooseberry just loves to help him dress up and Franco doesn’t care enough about what he’s doing when he’s not babying him, just assumes Dolly’s a pervert)

i loaf him so….i wanna crush him in my palm…like bug

Random Thought before bed:

Imagining your favorite twst chara with an s/o who loves to paint and draw. They're working hard on a beautiful piece, and because they want it to come out perfect they're working day in and day out with few breaks. Tears of frustration and self doubt infest their mind, and your favorite twst chara tries to comfort them during those relapses. He offers them food, water and a shoulder to rest their head on so they can sleep well and try again when they're feeling better.

And after all the blood sweat and tears, the painting comes out finished. S/o still doubts it being perfect, but his reassurances helps them feel proud that it came out wonderfully.

Seto Kaiba absolutely does that thing parents do when making a sudden stop while driving, i.e. whipping out an arm protectively in front of their passenger to stop them from theoretically flying out of the front window.

Mokuba doesn't really notice it anymore because he's used to it, Yugi thinks it's charming, and the one time Seto did it to Jounouchi (look, Yugi wasn't feeling well and was laying down in the back seats, Seto promised him he'd get Jou home first, the things he does for friendship/love/to repay some kind of debt, etc.), he grumbles "force of habit, don't think this means anything," but unfortunately, Jou now knows, and honestly you are now one (1) point higher in his estimation of you.

(... only 100 more points to go until Seto's in the positives with Jou.)

one thing that constantly plagues my mind is this single milgram timeline interaction between shidou and kazui on kazui's birthday

like not only is it extremely gay but i've recently realized the fact that kazui mentions it's his birthday has certain implications. milgram is pretty thoughtfully written, which would lead me to believe that they wouldn't disregard things that have been said in the past no matter how long ago.

meaning the things kazui said on his first birthday is still just as relevant even now.

this would imply that kazui bringing up the fact it was his birthday was just an excuse to get shidou to spend some time with him.

why would he go out of his way to mention something he claims he doesn’t care much about if not as an excuse to get shidou to actually spend time with him? either it's just his crippling loneliness or he actually does have a thing for shidou, especially with the way his development is going and how his feelings and desires are being affirmed. plus every milgram interaction has some form of significance to the characters' development.

i do still feel like it's kind of a reach to make this assumption and i'm probably reading into it way too much, cuz it really could just be kazui being nice, but, y'know, why place so much emphasis on it? and also a SHOULDER MASSAGE being offered by the guy who craves physical touch? the closet is not even glass atp it’s been disassembled and returned to ikea

Here’s a vague size comparison thing for all of them. And a human for perspective

I really, desperately want to make an illustrated guide to my merfolk lore, because it’s extensive and I’m really proud of it. But that sounds slightly overwhelming, so idk, but here are some random scraps that pertain to these four. My fish mers aren’t allowed to have hair; they have a variety of different fins on their head to mimic it instead. Oviparous fish (e.g. remora) lay their eggs and their mer counterparts do likewise, and therefore don’t have nipples and/or breasts. Eggs of ovoviviparous fish (e.g. manta ray) hatch shortly before giving birth and do not consume anything resembling milk, so their mer counterparts do not have nipples and/or breasts. Viviparous fish (e.g. lemon shark) essentially nurse when in the womb, so their mer counterparts nurse after having given birth and have nipples and/or breasts. Mammals (e.g. monk seal) are self explanatory.

Also most animals hatch or are born with navels, because even in eggs, there’s a cord from the embryo to the yolk sack. Oviparous and ovoviviparous creatures just tend to be better at healing the scar. However, I’ve decided that mers are not as good at healing the scar, and thus, have bellybuttons.
