im gonna be honest w y'all i regret reading the prologue to Mammon's Victory card because i got to see the horrendous quality for the King's sprites

i need to rant about this

i get cutting corners and recycling assets for the game cuz they might be pressed for time and/or budget but holy shit they can't even recycle the assets properly

the sprites are atrocious and only asmo's is done properly imo

all of them look wrong in a way cuz the heads aren't connected to the necks properly

PB's artists are good, i can't deny that

Nori's art is god tier and whoever is doing the character design for the nobles and some of the side characters (like Dong-gyun, Kesi, Minh's older brother, and the 3 devil extras in Mamm's victory card) are absolutely cooking

the story CGs are adorable too w the cutesy charming chibi style and the text/chat images are well done

BUT SOMEHOW THE QUALITY CONTROL FOR THESE PARTICULAR SPRITES WENT TO SHIT
