• ABOUT THE PROJECT:

My approach to Sound is handcrafted. Giving something which is voiceless a true means of expression. Composing the soundtrack was achieved by matching digital recordings with analog samples, recorded in-factory.

The attention to detail enables real authenticity. This allowed me to mix and match the various recordings, compiling what is ultimately a ‘sartorial sound’. Hand-sewing a fabric produces a truly unique sound, one that most people have never heard.

A musical composition created with over 3000 sampled sounds. I sampled every sound frequency of the fabric, through four different microphone techniques. For the beat, I then recorded the warm sound of several sewing machines.
