Chiaki Nanami - Quality Time

Chiaki is a simple girl, she likes to take life as it comes and just kinda go with the flow. And she appreciates a partner that can do the same. She doesn't really like going on dates, they just aren't her scene. She'd honestly rather stay home eating snacks and playing video games with you. To be honest, Chiaki just likes being with you in general. It doesn't have to be a big deal, often you guys will just cuddle and relax or play games together. Even if you don't feel like talking Chiaki is happy to just be with you in comfortable silence. Since she tends to be sleepy throughout the day, she often will end up falling asleep at your place. Being a literal mob boss doesn't give you much personal time. Him and Peko are often super busy throughout the day, with Fuyuhiko getting frustrated an apologizing everytime, despite your insistance that it's okay. The days he does have off he likes to spend with you. He isn't really used to being vulnerable and affectionate, so whenever you try to be romantic he will initially push back. Understand it isn't that he doesn't like you, it's just unusual to him, he'll eventually accept the affection and reciprocate. When he brags in public, 80% of it is all show and overcompensation. He is actually trying to keep his dark lord image up to keep the mortals intimidated. You weren't as useless or untrustworthy as she thought. Hiyoko still lowkey bullies and teases you, but it's turned more playful and lighthearted. And she's also gotten more physically affectionate, openly clinging to you and leading you by the hand all over the place. The moment you met, your first date, for your one year anniversary she even made a collage of pictures taken on every date you've been on! For the longest time she was hiding a secret, but one day when you were feeling very depressed she revealed it. Mahiru had been keeping a photo album of pictures of you smiling. Throughout your relationship she is greatful for your kindness and support, and wants to do the same for you. Being one of the best nurse's in Japan means Mikan can treat you for almost anything. He feels incredibly inferior. Whenever you do anything nice for him he is eternally grateful and thanks you profusely. Nothing you do will ever be taken for granted. He is also very open about how highly he thinks of you, so when you start to feel self-doubt he is quick to shoot that down. We all know he loves some touchy touchy action. It don't matter what parts you got or your body type, he is IN 10000%. He makes it clear by constantly flirting with you and trying to initate any sort of sexual activites (it's fun to see him sulk when you turn him down). But strangely enough, Teruteru actually shows love by cooking for you. Yeah, your hot bod is a big bonus. But that smile on your face when you taste his food? Absolutely priceless. He loves to cook all your meals, and often uses his Mom's special recipes. When one day you asked him to teach you how to cook, his heart soared. He immedietly gave you an apron and pulled out a recipe book so you could choose one to try. Never worry if you make mistakes or completely fail, Teruteru doesn't mind! You gotta start somewhere, and as long as you use the ingredients you have and don't purposly waste them it's all good. But know that even though he doesn't get angry, he will mock you if you're a mess, and can be a little condescending. Just roll with it, he'll eventually humble himself and compliment your efforts

Well, I didn't have the mood to draw fantasy au for a long time. But at least I made two more designs.👏 And I drew a portrait with only one of them-

In any case, I present to your attention my version of Chiaki and Usami in fantasy au! Chiaki is a simple adventurer who belongs to a guild with a desire to see the world. One day she happened to meet a strange fluffy creature who called herself the greatest sorceress of the century. However, no one in the world knows about it, for some reason. Usami was indeed a powerful sorceress in the past, but she was cursed. So she's locked up in the shape of a flying fluffy thing, and no one remembers her exploits. However, Chiaki, having concluded a contract with Usami, became able to temporarily take over the curse on herself, which allows Usami to take human form and fight. So they joined the guild together to break the curse of the Usami and travel through the magical world.

I put Ibuki as fourth because yes she would give very big and nice hugs, but she would be careless about the strength. Though it wouldn't be as exaggerated as Akane or Nekomaru, and that's why I put her as fourth place.

take this with a grain of salt... i cannot write kaede well for some reason but i try

chiaki, kaede, mikan comforting their s/o

when kaede heard small noises coming from the closet she thought it was some sort of game

she would throw open the door like "what are you doing in the closet, silly?"

then she sees you crying, and kneels down next to you

she's the type to not shut up until you feel better

she won't let you sit in the closet any longer either, it's not good for you.

so she'll yank you up and lead you over to your bed where the two of you will sit together and she'll play with your hair

after that, she'll leave the room but won't let you come out because it's a surprise

she'll come back after an hour or so with a whole homemade meal with your faves

and of course she'll give you a pep talk, it's kaede

"pick yourself up, eat some food, and stop stressing. life's too short to spend so much time being upset, you know?"

chiaki was looking for something she was sure she left in the closet when she nearly tripped over your curled up form

she huddled up and then closed the door so the two of you were just sitting in the dark together

"you don't have to say anything if you don't want to. do you wanna play a game?"

she'd pull out her handheld console and just start gaming while you watch, until you calm down and are ready to talk

once you start venting, she'll give you her absolute undivided attention

"well, recently i've been feeling stressed out too, and what i do is stop what i'm doing and meditate. it actually works if you take it seriously and put the effort in."

she convinces you to try meditation with her, and she puts on some white noise in the background

she'll make you a hot drink and tell you to hold it in your hands because the warmth will ground you and keep you in the moment

if you still can't calm down she'll do breathing exercises with you

tbh, mikan probably beat you to the closet

the first time she ever found you in there was when she was on her way to go have a melt down, turns out you two both like to hide in the same place

as soon as she saw you crying, though, you were immediately her first priority

she pushed down her own sadness for a few moments to comfort you

"you know, i like to come in here and cry too."

but then she can't help it, you're still crying so she starts to cry and now you're both a mess

so you both decide to cling onto each other as you ride out the emotional wave

when you have no tears left in your reserves, she'll reach out and wipe your tears away gently with her thumbs

youll probably spend a lot more time just sitting there in the closet

but eventually she will gently suggest that you take a bath or a nap

her nurse instincts are kicking in and she wants to make you drink water and rest after the emotional turmoil, you probably have a headache from crying so much

so she'll start a warm bath and the two of you will get in together and just soak up the warmth
