Disney Japan Unveils "Twisted Wonderland" Anime Cast.

Disney has announced some new details on its upcoming anime series, “Twisted Wonderland: The Animation.” This adaptation of the hit mobile game will be coming to Disney+ around the world in October 2025.

The show has already been renewed for three seasons: “Episode of Heartslabyul,” “Episode of Savanaclaw,” and “Episode of Octavinelle.”

The cast includes:

okay so i’ve seen people talking about katsuki’s old middle school friends and i decided to make my own au

so we got undercut fucker, mainly called kariage by everyone. i also call him kariage but i named him takeo a long time ago so i’ll probably use both names interchangeably. his full name is takeo/kariage hamamoto. i don’t have a quirk for him yet but i imagine it’s something to do with smoke bc he smokes a lot. he’s a cocky and smug asshole who likes to tease kat a lot. and we love him for it ❤️ he lives with his dad who’s a drug addict. he doesn’t know anything about his mom or the rest of his family. that’s how he got addicted to smoking-through his dad, although it’s not drugs, it’s still drug like in a sense.

stretchy fingers here i’ve named akihiko saito. his quirk is stretchy fingers. duh. he’s the chillest in the group. he’s kinda like sero/shinsou?? yeah like a go with the flow type-a-guy. his mom, aoi, is like a mother to all of them. she’s a therapist and is divorced.

finally we got our feral queen chiaki miyamoto. (she’s the brunette girl who sits next to katsuki in the first episode) i don’t know if she has a canon quirk but i’m saying it’s bubbles. basically, like katsuki, she uses her sweat to make bubbles out of her palms. she can make them any size. they can carry people and/ or objects depending on the size. her and katsuki are the gremlins of the group. they constantly bicker and tease each other. she swears like a sailor, courtesy of katsuki, and is considered very unladylike. she’s loud, excitable, and clingy, needs to be touching one of her boys at all times. she lives with her two dads and younger brother. only gal in the house.

That's because Hiroshi Inagaki's trilogy is a kind of cinematic Bildungsroman: the education of Musashi Miyamoto, a historic figure who served as a kind of bridge between the swordsmanship tradition of the Japanese warrior and the meditative tradition rooted in Zen Buddhism. It's a strongly planned trilogy where it comes to Miyamoto's development, and Mifune provides a solid center. But I found myself distracted by the Hollywoodizing of the story, especially the subplot involving Otsu (Kaoru Yachigusa), the woman who loves Miyamoto so much that she devotes her life to seeking him out. The argument goes that this romantic subplot represents one of the trials that Miyamoto must undergo before he can achieve the kind of wisdom that his spiritual mentors wish for him, but Otsu's doggedness struck me as heavy-handed and sentimental. Still, it's a fascinating and often spectacular trio of films, beautifully climaxing in the battle between Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki (Koji Tsuruta) as the sun sets over the sea on whose verge they are dueling.

Tomodachi Game: anime in arrivo per il survival game di Yuki Sato

La serie tv debutterà in Giappone la prossima primavera.

Con l’uscita del nuovo numero della rivista Weekly SHonen Magazine è stata annunciata la produzione di una serie animata tratta da “Tomodachi Game”, manga a tema survival game nato dalla mente di Yuki Sato. 

L’adattamento debutterà sulle tv giapponesi ad aprile 2022 e sarà diretto da Hirofumi Ogura (Cells at Work! Lavori in Corpo, Null Peta). 

La serie sta venendo prodotta presso lo studio OKURU TO NOBORU (The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter, Planetarian: Snow Globe) e a curarne la sceneggiatura troviamo Kenta Ihara (Saga of Tanya the Evil, Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-). Il character design è affidato a Satomi Miyazaki, mentre le musiche sono firmate da Michiru (Given, Ascendance of a Bookworm). 

L'amicizia è più importante del denaro? Yuichi e i suoi amici vengono rapiti e si svegliano nel mezzo di una stanza, accanto a un misterioso personaggio, che li costringe a partecipare ad una strana competizione, in cui denaro e intrighi metteranno alla prova i legami che li uniscono.

    The story of Tomodachi Game revolves around Yuichi Katagiri, a young man who was raised to believe that friendship is more important than money. After the savings for the class field trip are mysteriously stolen, Yuichi and group of his friends are kidnapped and entered into the mysterious "Friends Game" with the stolen funds as their participation fee. Each of the 5 players is worth 4 million yen, and by working together they can win 20 million yen total to pay off their families' various debts. However, the "Friends Game" is a sadistic competition designed to push their friendships past the breaking point.

  Tomodachi Game is scheduled to begin broadcasting in April of 2022.
