rewatching bits of the show however unintentionally it was Lyudmilla's story is such a fantastic pro choice narrative. did she want that baby? YES. but god she deserved that choice to say fuck it, i'm not leaving my husband. in sickness and in health. i'm taking care of him until he dies. and anyone who criticizes that choice is a bitch and a cunt. its a brutal, beautiful love story
#and everyone who harrassed the real woman in real life for 'killing her baby' you will never see heaven you're scum of the earth#+ the knowledge of how radiation affected pregnancy was v limited at the time#+ ppl with acute radiation sickness stop being radioactive within a few days so its unlikely he was actually any harm to her#+ her being in the vicinity of the explosion was 1000% more likely to cause any miscarriage than her loving her DYING husband!!!!!!#she speaks#also hbo if you dont pay that woman damages/compensation for using her in this show NOW#chernobylb
