I've decided to share my Little Singham works I've done since 2023 (separately, of course, and mainly Super Squad cuz that's all I've been drawing lmfao-).

I've already posted these on my Instagram, but I'll post them here too cuz yes-

Characters from left to right:

Shivaji

I consider him to be the eldest of the group. He works in rapid action force (somewhat in the military category when I looked it up). He's from Chennai, and he had ice powers. A popular guy at his home town, and he's basically the fandom's 2nd crush after LS himself.

Chinnu

A forest ranger from Sundarbans. The only female in the group, I consider her the 2nd oldest after Shivaji. In many of the movies, she was drawn to be taller than everyone else. She had the power of plants and nature (it was mentioned that animals were included, but it was never shown, only plants. Probably since animals is more of LS's territory).

Little Singham

The India's youngest super cop himself, the person this entire show centered upon. I consider him the youngest in the team for this very reason (he is also the team leader). He lives in a double life; a regular kid attending school who goes by the name Ajay (also his actual name), and a super cop for most of his days. Resides in Mirchi Nagar (to which, it was first founded as a kingdom by a king who just loves mirchi, also chilli spices in Hindi). He had the power of a lion, he can communicate with every kinds of animals and basically friends with every beings in the ecosystem (at some point, he had the power of fire as well in Aag Aur Pani ki Takkar, but his fire power status is unknown due to being poisoned by Vish). Low key, had a pretty lonely private life cuz his parents are rarely even home (no fr. His father wasn't even there when he was born, and his mother left him for the sake of welfare of India when he's like, what, 3-4 years old, and he became a super cop at the age of 8). Fought enemies on a daily like, he's godforsaken 9 years old, give mah boi a break, dear God.

Update: he got his fire powers back, it was just blocked by the Vish for a bit. Still didn't use it unless it's really needed.

Veer

A BSF (Border Security Force) soldier in the military. I consider him the 2nd youngest in the team (only a day older than LS, literally). He comes from Punjab, and had the power to shape shift his body into a huge macho form and super strength that could shake the grounds of the earth. He was the first ever squad member to ever join the Super Squad team.

Off the Pitch?

The monsoons were waiting on the edge. Under an overcast night sky was unfolding one of the closest IPL finals. The calendar had just switched its date to the 31st of May, 2023. With the match between Chennai Super Kings and the defending champions Gujarat Titans going down to the wire, the emotions in the stadium were running extremely high. The supporters praying for their team's victory, the players trying to handle their nerves.

With a thrilling last-ball finish ending in favor of team CSK, what followed in the stadium was an outburst of emotions. Dejection and Happiness were captured in one camera frame. Dreams were fulfilled and shattered, and prayers were answered and refused. Sport is an ensemble of great stories. Stories not just of victories and defeats, wins and losses, but of people, of emotions. The players, the families, the support systems, the small things that aligned and the way the dots connected.

In a world obsessed with statistics, matchups, fantasy leagues, wins and losses, this blog will try to go 'Off the Pitch.' Go off the pitch and unearth the stories that sport has to offer. Explore sports from a different perspective and celebrate the stories and lessons from the world of sports.
