After almost 30 years as a customer of CHEF LUCIANO located at 49 EAST CERMAK ROAD, CHICAGO, IL 60616, I am sharing with all of my friends and family members and all of Chicago that they will NEVER RECEIVE ANOTHER DIME OF MY MONEY. Current management lacks integrity, loyalty, and honesty. They offer rewards on your spending, but they don't tell you that YOU DO NOT accumulate those rewards when using their ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM. After placing calls for SEVERAL MONTHS, I was finally told today that due to "I DON'T CARE REASONS", rewards are not accumulated when you order online. You can only accumulate rewards if you call your order in and pay at the register. So, after spending over $400.00 this year alone, I have only 8 rewards points (THAT I HAVE NO PLANS ON REDEEMING) undoubtedly from the last time I actually called in an order and paid at the register which, based upon my current recollection, has not happened in 2020. After REPEATED INQUIRIES inside of the restaurant and phone calls placed to CHEF LUCIANO, NEVER, NOT ONE TIME WAS A RETURN CALL MADE TO ME. I still paid full price for my orders no matter how I placed the order and there has NEVER been any notification sent out to customers letting them know that when they use CHEF LUCIANO's ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM, they risk not receiving their reward points. That way, customers can make up their own minds about losing those rewards points and that's my biggest beef. This is LESS ABOUT THE REWARD POINTS AND MORE ABOUT NOT LETTING CUSTOMERS KNOW SO THAT THEY HAVE THE CHOICE TO DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT THEY CARE ABOUT ACCUMULATING REWARD POINTS. HINDSIGHT, the lack of RETURNING MY PHONE CALLS and UNAVAILABILITY whenever I was in the restaurant, that speaks volumes on their intent NOT TO BE FORTHCOMING AND HONEST about the situation. THAT IS WHAT I AM ANGRY ABOUT. I SPENT GOOD MONEY FOR YEARS AT CHEF LUCIANOS, BUT, THAT RELATIONSHIP ENDS RIGHT NOW, TODAY, Wednesday, June 10, 2020! On popular demand here how to make your LIEVITO DI BIRRA.⁣ ⁣ Starting from the natural fresh yeast stock up and replicate it, so you don’t have longer to buy it.⁣ ⁣ 25 g fresh yeast (lievito di birra)⁣ 25 g water⁣ 60 g flour (all purpose is fine)⁣ ⁣ Dissolve the yeast in Luke like warm water.⁣ ⁣ Add the flour and knead until a compact dough is obtained.⁣ ⁣ Close it tightly in a container so that no oxygen can enter. It is important that the yeast reproduces in the absence of oxygen.⁣ ⁣ Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using it. It will last you more or less up to 7 days.⁣ ⁣ After 24 hrs you can use it. Remember to keep 25 g at the end to start over and create more.⁣ ⁣ Enjoy! Limoncello Icecream.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ For Father’s Day let’s make some refreshing gelato.⁣ ⁣ It's incredibly easy, requiring just 3 ingredients. It's one of those ice creams that start with ice cream as a base. ⁣ ⁣ Vanilla ice cream, to be exact.
