Pete Appreciation Post

Pete and Nat:

As her partner, he not only handles but actually and actively loves her family.

He goes to Al-Anon meetings WITH her (1x2).

He doesn't show up to Christmas empty handed (to steal Carmy's words that'd make him an asshole). He continues to be joyful and make small talk while being ripped to shreds for his attempt at a funny, genuinely considerate tuna casserole (2x6).

One of Nat's biggest traumas (flashback to 2x6 of Donna grabbing her by the face while threatening to kill herself) is juxtaposed with her greatest joy - ending the day with Pete on the couch watching TV (2x8).

Everything Pete does and says in 2x10. I don't even know where to start. Him so beyond proud and supportive and excited and happy for Nat. Him trying to convince Donna to come inside by playing to their shared pride of Nat (and Carm). His reaction after the conversation with Donna. Chris Witaske you talented actor and Pete you beautiful, patient, loving, understanding, forgiving man.

Pete and Carmy:

Pete makes such an effort with him (to steal Mikey's words he gives like the biggest fuck). He genuinely embraces Carmy and wants so desperately to be embraced by Carmy in return:

He brushes/laughs off an unexplained past incident involving Carmy (and presumably Michael) that sent him to urgent care. Very bro siblings roughhousing behavior (1x2).

He lets Carmy use his and Nat's freezer even though he knows she'll be mad at him for it. Very brothers ganging up on their sister/two siblings scheming against the third (which I imagine happened between the Berzatto siblings so much and in so many combinations) (1x5).

He was so hype and adorably complimentary about Carmy's homemade ecto cooler and ugh I wish Carm had given more credit there because they are clearly just both big nerds at heart (1x4).

He defends Carmy for being called a loser at the catered party by bringing up his career as one of the most lauded chefs (as I've said before, he and Syd were the two members of the Chef Carmy club). And he does so in front of a large and intimidating assortment of friends and family (to paraphrase Carmy paraphrasing Marcus we see that Pete can throw down huh). Very protective big brother vibes (1x4).

He then individually compliments Carmy's courage for leaving home and making an incredible career for himself. He also makes a point to tell him that Nat is proud of him. Emotionally supportive brother behavior (1x4).

He thanks Carmy for letting him be a part of his family! It's beyond sweet to say that to your in laws, but when your in laws are the Berzattos (1x4)?!

Pete And The Berzattos:

He still gets ribbed more than not, but at the end of the day he's accepted.

Carmy saying I kind of like Pete now (1x5).

Stevie saying his heart was in the right place after the tuna faux pas (2x5).

Fak saying he'll be a great daddy (2x10).

Donna congratulating Pete about the baby thus signaling her approval (2x10).

Pete Is An Only Child:

I've been convinced since S1 and S2 only confirmed.

The genuine love and effort he puts into each family member (blood, extended, and honorary) of the Berzattos not only shows Pete is truly a nice guy, but it speaks to his deep desire to be a part of a family - to belong (see all examples above).

We learned Richie and Sydney are only children (It must have been nice to have Nat and Carm. Yeah, now you do too. *sobs*) so another proof point that all partners to the Berzatto siblings are onlys.

Stevie. In his speech, he says You guys have been so kind to me. You let me hang out with your every holiday. I don't have a family like this and I'm really grateful you make space for me at this table and you make time for me on the holidays. You can imagine an exact speech coming from Pete. And like Pete, Stevie genuinely loves and gets along with each of the Berzattos (2x6). A last parallel between these two: Donna speculates if he's gay and that is totally something I can imagine her, Mikey or Richie saying about Pete at first meeting.

Something about not knowing Pete's last name or anything about him outside of his relationships with the Berzattos signals to me he's not from a big family and/or is not close to them and really just exists in the Berzatto cinematic universe.

Takeaways:

Pete is the MVP of The Bear. We better get more of him in S3.

Agreed. Andrew is my favorite version of Peter, the vibe of his movies really speak to me. I love the scene you’ve mentioned, but it breaks my heart because of Gwen’s fate. However I would love to do that for Miles and Gwen. Right now I’ve got a lot of pieces in progress, so don’t expect it right away, but if I find a chance to do it I will ✨

I really enjoyed drawing their kiddos and had every intention of drawing them differently from the comics. I wanted to do my own interpretation of their kids since the spiderverse style if different from the comics. I actually based Gwen’s braids on some of her concept art, I loved that look (it’s viking-ish which I dig) so I wanted to do something with it.

Though Miles and Gwen 42 are not exactly canon, I still love the idea of them and so I’m glad you have enjoyed what I have made.

Hi! Can I get some headcanons about the stardust crusaders crew with a s/o that has a stand that has the ability to make an enemy stand user laugh so hard by emitting a laughing gas? it basically give's other stand user's an opening to get a hit in on the enemy. and the stand itself looks like a small cute clown.(literally the size of heaven's door)

Bonus: the S/o wants to be a stand-up Comedian.

-Jotaro probably wouldn't be very enthusiastic about you coming along with the crusaders to Egypt, but hear me out okay

-He has a lot of concerns about whether or not your laughing gas would be enough to keep enemy stand users at bay, he'd rather not see you get hurt, especially if he can help it! This concern probably manifests itself outwardly as anger, because we all know how bad he is with his feelings 

-Eventually he finds a compromise with you, that allows you to be in his sight at all times while you work together to subdue enemies

-Whether he actually communicates this to you or it's just how things work out from his stubborn nature is up to you

-Aside from the rocky start he generally appreciates your presence, especially when you make every moment lighter with some wisecracks! He doesn't laugh out loud or break into a smile too often, he's more of an exhale through the nose kind of guy. 

-Maybe even a groan or "gimme a break" if a joke is especially cheesy 

-But he definitely wouldn't wanna change anything about you or your humor 

-He also teases you a little bit for your stand's appearance— by extension he calls you a clown as a term of endearment<3

Noriaki Kakyoin

-Kakyoin greatly admires the ability of your stand, he thinks it's a nice contrast to some of the more gruesome and dangerous abilities you both have encountered up until this point 

-At first he worried a bit that maybe you shouldn't be involved in this journey, mostly because he doesn't want to see someone who's nature of their fighting spirit is literally so wholesome in such gruesome battles, but he has a lot of faith in you to hold your own

-And he'll certainly encourage you to lean on him for support! He'll also do everything in his power to keep you safe and work with you when you fight

-He's just so thankful for your company, he loves your humor a lot and will sort of calmly respond to your anecdotes and jokes with small quips of his own. I don't think he jokes around a lot but he definitely has a sense of humor in there, and you tend to bring it out with ease!

Jean Pierre Polnareff

-Polnareff absolutely adores your stand and it's ability! You two would be an unstoppable duo— between your stand's laughing gas as a distraction— and his Silver Chariot who brings a swift end to any of your opponents! 

-Because of that I feel like he'll always insist you work together or at the very least stay by his side, totally not because he just wants you all to himself lolol

-He's also your number one fan when it comes to your stand-up career, if you like to tell jokes during the trip he's probably the easiest to make laugh and it's always obnoxiously loud 

-But he just adores you a lot and will find anything you say funny really

-He's also one of the best people to joke around with, you remember that submarine scene with the hand signals from the gif? Yeah you're definitely involved there somewhere 

Muhammad Avdol

-Avdol is such a sweetheart I love him, I honestly can't see him having any problem with your stand at all

-He's the most outwardly supportive when it comes to you, especially with you wanting to be a stand-up comedian. It's crucial for everyone to be in high spirits during this adventure, he finds your humor one of the most important things to preserve! So of course, he'd go any length to protect you

-But you'll have to break him out of his shell initially, he takes his role in the group very seriously and sometimes he's cautious to the point of forgetting to indulge in a little fun now and then

-That's why you two complement each other well! You can see his progression throughout the journey as he starts to allow himself to relax around you and the crusaders. You truly bring out the best in him. And who doesn't love Avdol when he's being mischievous? His first appearance with Polnareff after his 'death' was honestly my favorite, he'll probably look to you for approval with his own practical jokes (even if the nature of this one was pretty extreme. But it was for a good cause!)

Joseph Joestar 

-Okay you can't give me this prompt and not expect me to bring up the desert scene when they were up against The Sun

-The poor guy thought everyone was losing their sanity in there, and he wondered if maybe you were using your ability on everyone else to make them laugh. 

-The fear was short lived though, mostly because he loved you and trusted you enough to know better from you, as well as the fact that the gas would have to affect him as well. Then his concern just grew into the fear that he was losing you too! 

-Okay aside from that I think he finds the nature of your ability pretty fascinating in of itself, something very unconventional for fighting but when used tactfully it can be pretty powerful! 

-He'll probably encourage you to stay away from battle, mostly because your stand is so unconventional as well as the fact that he probably can't protect you very well with Hermit Purple (not that he wouldn't go down without trying anyway)

-He's a little insecure about it, but that's why he needs you with him to talk strategy! He's sure that with your combined skill and power you could get yourselves out of any situation 

-It's very easy to get a laugh out of him, and I'm sure he'll make you laugh quite a few times as well even if unintentionally (because it wouldn't be Joseph if he didn't make a fool out of himself)

-Oh and it's safe to say he absolutely supports your career, he'll do anything he can to help and he'll even try to offer up material for your jokes at any given time

Wondering what your thoughts and opinions are on the rest of the jerk squad boys, especially Nate?

Know that asking me this was a mistake because I’m RABID for them. I’m FOAMING at the mouth and shaking just at being asked to ramble about my boys because I am plagued by thoughts of them that I’m absolutely going to unleash upon you now.

This is not going to be coherent at all. I apologise for that.

By the way— since I already talk about Shiloh way too much, he’s not going to have his little section here. If you want to see my rambles about him, please check my masterlist!

I’m probably going to talk about Jeremy separately because…. I actually haven’t finished his route. It’s the only one that’s left.

Since you asked about him first, Nate is one of my favourite boys. I have a special place in my heart for him because he kind of reminds me of my girlfriend, and I do think that his dynamic with JB is one of the most entertaining in the bunch. He’s always snapping back at her and it’s so fucking funny. Every time they’re out together I keep getting this mental image of JB being strapped in a baby leash with Nate trailing behind her like an exhausted parent.

Like Shiloh, he’s also a character that I think about a LOT, particularly about the way he handles (or does not handle) his emotions and his obsessive need to have control over everything around him.

I think it’s really telling that Nate continuously strives for perfection and frequently neglects his own emotional needs when he practically raised himself, admittedly saw the school as his home, and when we know for a fact that he was seen and treated as a mini-adult throughout his life.

Like, you cannot tell me he wasn’t praised endlessly as a child for being independent and self-sufficient and then when he grew older people were constantly exasperated that he was too independent and didn’t know when to ask for help when needed! Nate is probably endlessly confused as to why something that was touted as being such a good trait for a good portion of his life suddenly became a problem.

Anyways, I think it’s kind of tragic how he spent most of his life at that school and I legit teared up when they graduated. It’s also very sweet how despite being a perv and living to make him uncomfortable, JB is surprisingly respectful of his boundaries regarding physical touch and doesn’t push him to kiss or hug her. Yeah, she teases him about missing the perfect moment but she’s happy to let him decide when he’s ready to do all of that!

It’s also nice that she tries to support him, even if she isn’t exactly good at it. SHE’S TRYING HER BEST BC THEY LEGIT LIKE EACH OTHER EVEN IF THEY BOTH HAVE ISSUES!!

Regarding Everett… I didn’t expect to like his route as much as I did, but he has SO MUCH ANGST POTENTIAL.

Like, his whole relationship with Nate? The fact that he’s a momma’s boy?? HE WAS REJECTED BY PRAN In like, the WORST way possible??

It’s just, chef’s kiss. A whole lotta angst wrapped inside a tiny, hipster-shaped package. Pure perfection.

My only issue with his route is that the whole time, I felt like JB was getting in between him and Nate. This is my headcanon, but I feel like after high school, if JB and Everett don’t immediately have an explosive, dramatic breakup there are only two possible routes: either he leaves her for Nate or they add Nate into the mix.

I’m sorry, but no other alternatives compute for me, not after their conversation in the tunnel of love. That shit goes way past just a codependent friendship.

I think I’ve mentioned this once before but Bae is likely my second favorite jerksquad guy. I can’t really explain why his condescension is so funny to me, but it might be because my favorite parts of the game were the group meetings and Bae’s borderline paternalistic attitude towards the other characters (because he’s mAtURE and knows what’s best for them) and his sarcasm made for some really great dialogue and some of the funniest scenes in my opinion.

Just as a side note— I played xoxo blood droplets and Bae’s route made me realize how much potential he has to be a yandere in an au! And now that I’m thinking about this I NEED to write about it. Even if it’s just headcanons or something.

I love him in game. I’d probably throw hands with him three minutes into a conversation if he existed IRL. I sent my girlfriend screenshots of his sons of his scenes while I played and she said that I was a bit like him. It made me reevaluate my life LOL

Okay so, I’m going to be real with you: Pran is my least favorite of the boys. I’ll admit that when I played through his route last year I kept complaining about not having that much fun and not liking him a lot as a character. My view changed as I got to the end of the game:

Pran’s is still my least favorite route but he’s one of the most interesting guys to analyze.

In the end, even if it took me a bit to get into it, I still ended up enjoying it immensely anyway.

I think what made me dislike him at first was that, ironically, I think that Pran as a character works best in group scenes. He’s a contrarian and he’s very quiet most of the time, which makes his very occasional interjections some of the funniest moments in the meetings, but that’s also why I didn’t find his dates as fun LOL

I think that with the other characters I had a better time because how they played off JB during their dates, while with Pran it was funny to see JB trying so hard to engage with him or get a rise out of him just for him to barely react (and it makes the instances where she does manage to catch him off guard very rewarding) on the first few times, but it started to get old for me. There’s only so many times I can hear him say no, and that he doesn’t care before it gets annoying.

For me the highlight of his route was seeing Shiloh have a weird, one-sided beef with him. Shiloh pretends to like everyone but this is where he draws the line apparently 😭

Anyways, you might be wondering why I said he’s one of my favourites to analyse if I didn’t have much fun playing through his route. That’s mostly because of his backstory, which I genuinely find to be fascinating.

He’s basically a textbook example of avoidant attachment, which is due to the severe neglect he suffered as a child. Honestly, I could make a whole post about this alone if anyone is interested.

That coupled with having to adopt a mentality where nothing he ever did or said was ever right, because either his parents or grandparents would get upset, which led to him always being quiet or choosing the contrarian option, and you get a pretty fascinating character to think about. It’s interesting to examine his relationships through this lense: it makes complete sense that Pran has a difficult time engaging with JB and connecting to her emotional needs. The few relationships he has maintained exist out of necessity! And he tries so hard to push her away, in the same way he pushed everyone else away, but she just refuses to leave. Refuses to accept defeat. She’s fully determined to figure him out and make their weirdass relationship work and it’s something I admire JB for. That girl is a TROOPER.

Sure thing! -- + Q-Bert was pretty neutral to the Player at first when they first met (despite the feeling of having met them before), but over time he begins to slowly warm up to the Player. + His eventual downfall into developing a crush on the Player began after he heard the Player laugh at a retort he said when they sold him back some older equipment his boss used. The laugh was addictive and very nice on his ears. After that, he tries to think of more funny one-liners to get the Player to laugh more often. + Whenever the Player passes by his shop, he begins to greet them and, begrudgingly, his boss. The Player is always kind and smiles and waves at him as both of them pass by to go to their real destination, which was typically the helipad. Q-Bert can only watch them leave and sigh in desire as they leave his sight. + His crush on the Player winds up getting found out by Chef Pava, who witnesses Q-Bert nearly choke when the Player passed through the cafeteria and greeted him joyously. Q-Bert tries his damnedest to hide his affection from Pava, but it doesn't work. Pava eventually offers to help Q-Bert earn the Players affections. But between love and money, it's a hard call for Q-Bert. + Eventually, he decides to follow Pava's advice and start giving the Player "deals" to sweeten their relationship. Surprisingly, it works and the Player even started to drop by just to chat with him. + Pava goes even further and guides Q-Bert on how to get some info from the Player without being overly suspicious. "Get information on their interests! Find ways to entice them to spend time with you!" Pava would tell Q-Bert. So, small talk became a thing when the Player would drop by for a supply run with the boss. + He eventually found out your favorite "playstyle", your choice of food and snacks, and what you thought about the others in the SQ building. But eventually, he slowly works up the courage to ask about himself. To which you reply that he was the "salesman with gumption to backtalk his boss and call him a cheapskate.", while you laugh endearingly. He figured that your opinion of him was a good thing, despite the glares he was getting from the boss in question. + Between the deals, the information, and the wingman support from Pava, Q-Bert eventually gains the bravery to ask the Player out on a date, to which they surprisingly accept. With your favorite food being prepared by his wingman, Pava, and most of the units out on various missions, he had a whole night to himself with the Player as his date. + It went well and gossip began to circulate about their relationship and the Player doesn't seemed bothered by the mouthy underlings gossiping about their new relationship status with the local arms dealer. So why should he? He was happy and he managed to land such a gold mine. Everyone in this building WISHED they were him!

LEXINGTON LAWMEN LET'S GO

Art

How I feel about this character: he's ... all right! i think he's perfect for his role in the show and he's got some nice little details (the hearing aids, his relationship with leslie & family, etc) and he has some great lines. S2's Blaze of Glory is FASCINATING for him and is my favorite Art episode ... that ending with Frank!! dksjfks both sad and funny and wow what an entirely human true neutral way to approach the outlaw VS lawman cat and mouse dynamic 10/10 no notes. we also get some interesting glimpses at his inner darkness + capacity for violence in him that's ... hm now that's very interesting (that time he smacked Boyd with the bible, the interrogation with the phonebook, him decking Raylan, etc) but i think overall he falls too much in line with the "Police Chief" character archetype. since Justified is a western masquerading as a police show, Art should have felt more like a sheriff but he didn't. Raylan was the sheriff of the show. though as Justified always does with their characters they gave Art a lot more personality and layers than LEO shows usually give their big boss characters. i also LOVE that Art's hope and trust in Raylan is FOREVER dashed and is never repaired during the show, such a great twist on what usually happens with the chief and their cowboy subordinate.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: ...well...i wouldn't call it "romantic" but i think we deserve at least one fucked up gross Art/Tim dead dove daddy issues smut fic, as a treat (for me) 🤡

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Art & Raylan. his odd almost-surrogate father/son dynamic where he literally disowns Raylan during the show is goddamn great and i never tire of it on rewatches of the show. i really wish we'd see it explored more in fic.

My unpopular opinion about this character: i don't think there's enough opinions on Art for anything said about his character to be unpopular, but ... i think Art had one gay experience when he was younger like @praycambrian's Art and stanley tucci fic is just canon to me.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: more Art & Tim interaction!! remember when Tim gets mouthy and bratty and Art verbally lays into him with a DON'T BE A SMART ASS??!! yeah i needed to have more of Tim toe-ing the chain of command and Art putting him back behind the line, please.

Rachel

How I feel about this character: she's cool! i like Rachel, but i don't love Rachel. she's just too prim and professional and filling the role of The Lawful Good Lawman to spark any fandom brainworms in me. she has my respect though. i still adored her place within the show, however. badass lady black marshal that's good at her fucking job and doesn't backdown in the face of assholes!! get it. the ways she was able to clap back on racist bullshit without the writers falling down a preachy rabbit hole for her was also chef's kiss.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Rachel/OMC and Rachel/Raylan as a treat (for her). sorry lesbian or bi Rachel truthers, that's a straight woman. in my head, after Rachel becomes the Seattle marshal she begins seeing a black man who works some sort of legal practice job with a divorce under his belt as well. they eventually married and live as Dog Parents Ever After 😌

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Rachel & Nick. loved her relationship with her nephew, she's done right by him and stepped up for her family i think Nick is going to be okay, i really think he's going to end up happy and Rachel structure & support is a big part of that.

My unpopular opinion about this character: the best Rachel fic(s) in existence is connect the dots by larkingstock. i don't care that it's Rachel/Tim fic btw once upon a time i read all the Tim fics that existed on the internet and that's how i discovered this brilliant Rachel-centric fic. never read a fic that shines such a spotlight on her sexuality, her emotions, and her wishes before while givng her a real narrative voice. also, the writing quality and style is romance novel level. 10/10 no notes.

not a fan of the Rachel & Tim bestie agenda. respectfully, they are work colleagues at best but i prefer Rachel filling a former mentor & then a boss role to Tim. he calls her ma'am with a little too much respect for them to be true pals.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: what the fuck happened with her divorce!! hello?? we only had a QUICK PEEK into Rachel's tragic & chaotic family life (dad dead from cancer, troubled sister dead, co-raising her nephew with her mother??!!) and i desperately wish we'd gotten a follow-up on what was going on there. our gal had hidden depths and i wanted to see more. they dropped the ball with the lawmen side of the plots in season 5/6 so we were also denied a deeper look at Rachel being the acting chief RIP :(

Tim

How I feel about this character: i'm not normal about this dude :) he's my blorbo my fan favorite my ascended supported character my baby boy my lil man timmy guts slutterson my gay ranger sniper deputy marshal lawman heart of my heart apple of my eye!! i just think he's neat. everything we see about him in canon spurs a hundred and zillion headcanons in my head, can never stop thinking about him. he's a character i project hard on and i love working out my various personal issues by tormenting him with them. ty for your service 'lil mister.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: everything he's my little black dress of the fandom. givenson, mostly. but also boyd/raylan/tim, boyd/tim, colt/tim, boyd/colt/tim, quarles/tim. i even ship him in things that has no tag yet. where is the wynn duffy/tim fic?! i need dan/raylan/tim in miami fic!!

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Tim & Mark. i liked the canon portrayal for them and don't find it romantic or sexual at all. i really do think they were just war buddy pals.

My unpopular opinion about this character: he would not have been out as a gay man circa 2010. i sometimes ... feel ... his service history & career as a LEO isn't factored into fic characterizations and how that's gonna fuck up his ability to accept himself as a gay man and how that might even give him a hostile relationship with the LGBT community at large. i will never i cannot personally vibe with smoothing down the sharp points of Tim's characterization and history to make him more palatable to a younger audience. i don't care for queernorm-ing and the soft boy aesthetics.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: that they spent SO MUCH time setting up his powder-keg arc and then did a whole bunch of nothing with it. we should have seen him BLOW sky high (and should have seen him blowing other men who said that).

Raylan

How I feel about this character: i'm normal about him (lying through my teeth). i love raylan, okay?? he makes me bonkers in a variety of different ways. he's my comfort character!! thinking about him comforts me.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: givenson, mainly. i also ship him with boyd in a very very VERY selective way AKA it has to be toxic and weird and dom4dom. also love putting him with both Boyd and Tim at once ala Crowgivenson. i also wrote the only Dan/Raylan fic but also took it down a while back, still ship them hardcore though only way to explain why Dan is so fucking fond of Raylan.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Raylan & Loretta. no she is NOT his daughter and those are not a parent/child dynamic. Raylan sees HIMSELF in Loretta, he is being the protective supportive adult to her that HE needed as a child. helping her heals his inner wounded child. Loretta is a mirror to a younger Raylan with a twist of female trauma. it's a funhouse mirror into his past.

My unpopular opinion about this character: he's a daddy dom sorry to the haters but that's what he is in my heart. me and the other justies into that are gonna keep being happy about it in our corner of the fictional sandbox 🖤

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: don't like the becoming a dad plotline, sorry. his romance with winona was eye-roll more to me and when they had winona get pregnant i put my face in my palms and groaned. wish it hadn't happened and they had given him a juicy career focus instead. the only saving grace to the whole dad thing is how both Justified and JCP stayed true to Raylan's character and portrayed him as being a crappy father.

I didnt see that there was an update until now and i dont feel like discording and i just read the new chapter so here i am with my few main points bc i dont feel like doing a full live reaction👍👍🫶

Seeing Jeeto come into play in any capacity at all makes me feel like a proud parent watching their children grow. Its always wonderful like those are my emotional support middle aged fictional men. I watched them go from conspiracy to getting crumbs to now their "dates" and gossiping together. Youve gotta love it. Those are my children. Im so proud of them. But im also scared because you killed shen so obviously my feeligns mean nothing to you 🙄😒😒. (Im never going to get over that, im going to be 80 years old in some pst apocolypic enviroment with horrors all around me, but im going to be having nightmares about shen. Ill send you my therapy bill) (im going to get a tattoo in his memory istg)

Also its always really subtle but its funny to see your specific linguistical patterns in liab esp because i can never really explain it. Like ill read a random sentence and be like 'yeah that seems like sreeder wrote it' i just think its neat.

I also really loved zukka this chapter. But i always lovr zukka so its not a surprise. But espesially this chapter because its mostly soft zukka.

The 'moving forward' ness of zukka in liab is so nicely written. Like ive been reading liab since (almost) the beginning and it has been a ride and its starting to feel more conclusive and that is SCARY but its also nice because you write it very well and i adore the way you write trauma and the healing of it and the ups and downs and the two steps forward two steps backness. Its very lovely.

I knew ara was going to have a suicide attempt (esque situation (idk if that counts)) i called it i win.

Idc what others say ara will always be amazing. I love her character SO MUCH

i feel like you can always tell the strengths of a writer in the way they write complicated characters and the way you write ara is very telling of that. Like the fragility and also harshness used for her is very realistic and i always enjoy her parts so much.

Like her deciding to move on independant of how zuko or sokka feel about it is and regardless of whether people thinks she 'deserves it' is immaculate.

And thats a good example on your specific strengths as the author of liab (being able to handle delicate situations well, and realistically and make them very thought out and not rushed, stuff like that).

But her 'i need to start getting along with other girls' is great because like,, RHATS SO TRUE. she is genuienlly one of my favorite characters of all time, i could write essays on why i love her. Exquisite.

I see Giorno as a bit of a picky eater. He was most definitely malnourished early in his life, and his relationship with food just never was the best.

With that being said, he definitely enjoys fancy dinners and they're one of his favourite ways to spoil you when he's not busy on missions!

He thinks it's cute how you're so eager to try his food too, and he'd definitely feed you, whether you're with the rest of the gang or not, it doesn't matter.

He would also ask you if you'd like some more. If you don't stop yourself, you might end up eating both of you's dinner without even realizing. Golden boy wouldn't even bat an eye about it, he's just happy to see you're enjoying yourself.

He can't help but chuckle when you hit him with the puppy eyes and beg him to bring to eat something else. He is a bit worried you might get sick if you exaggerate, but he'll let it slide for once.

The two of you will probably get some ice-cream, this bit knows where to find the best sweets in all town, they're kind of his guilty pleasure.

He won't say anything about your eating tendencies for the most part. As long ad it doesn't affect your health or body, he has no reason to stop you.

However, he reminds you from time to time to be careful, he'd blame himself if you felt sick and hadn't done anything to even try to prevent it.

He does become more firm if you end up feeling bad.

He's not the best cook, but he would surprise you with the finest meals prepared by the best chefs in Italy as a way to apologize for all the time he has to be away from you.

Also, he loves to feed you chocolate pudding.

Bruno 🤐

I think Bucciarati has an incredibly fine taste when it comes to food. He enjoys simple, homemade meals, because they remind him of the happy moments in his childhood. However, he has quite a liking for more complex plates as well, he's an elegant young man, after all.

Just like his friend, he loves to take you out on dinner whenever he gets a night off. He's a gentleman at heart and believes that romantic dates like this are the best way send you in awe.

He gives you a sweet smile and gently directs his fork to your lips when you ask him to have some, and he's happy to see how much you seem to be enjoying yourself. He didn't understand yet how you would have loved literally anything he fed you.

He's more surprised than Giorno when you tell him you're still hungry though, but he can't resist the tenderness in your eyes. He'd gladly accompany you ti get something else, even though it's more mundane than the dinner you just had. He thinks it's a nice change.

But he probably doesn't get anything himself, I believe he has a small stomach, so he quickly gets full.

He's more strict than Giorno when it comes to your eating habits. He will often be there to remind you not to go overboard with your meals. Maybe it'll annoy you from time to time, but remember that he's just doing it for your own good.

With that being said...Bruno also loves to cook, and he can't help but prepare the best plates you'll ever have in your life when he gets the chance too. Bonus point if you also like fish! Bucciarati would love to go fishing from time to time, so expect some exquisite sea food being served at the table if he gets a day off.

Mista 🔫

This dude could eat the entire restaurant, the furniture and the waitresses too, and still claim to be hungry. Like- he needs to feed his fucking stand in order to get them to work. It's not like he's a picky eater either, you could give him inedible stuff and you can bet what you what he's gonna eat that anyway.

I can't see him as someone who likes fancy dates and restaurants, but he'd gladly bring you to one if it makes you happy. He's got money to spend anyway so why not lol.

He's not as quick as the others are to let you try his food though, he's a lot like you when it comes to this sort of thing and he doesn't like sharing. He probably already had to do so with the Pistols, cut him some slack.

It doesn't take long for you to convince him though, your puppy eyes and some "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE" should do the trick just fine.

He feeds you too, but only because he wants to make sure you don't end up eating the entire plate.

He comments on how cute you are and quickly goes back to his meal. He'll probably ask you if he can get yours too, and won't stop bugging you 'till you agree.

You end up arguing and get kicked out of the place lmao

You had fun though, he'd definitely do it again if he could.

You both said "I'm still hungry" at the same exact time while you were walking down the street. You looked at each other with a huge grin on your faces ad you already spotted a food stand not to far away in the distance. You bought basically everything they had, it was a night to remember.

You got food poisoning the next day but it's okay, it was all worth it.

He couldn't care less about your eating habits and actually encourages them. He can only cook basic meals so the two of you often get take out, especially since he's too lazy to cook, but you have fun challenging each other to see who can eat more, neither if you ever wins.

You just collapse in the sofa unable to move for the next five hours.

Narancia 🍊

I have this headcanon that Narancia likes to eat, and always tried to follow a varied diet, but he has an incredibly small stomach. You'll see him eating a lot, but it's either because he's gluttonous or because he's kinda forcing himself hoping he'll grow a bit more.

Like Mista, I think he'd find fancy restaurants to be extremely laaaame, but he'll make an effort not to stab a waiter out of boredom for you. He might even brush his hair just to look decent.

He doesn't understand why every meal is so small, yet probably costs more than your organs put together. When you tell him it's because it's high-quality food, he just shrugs and goes back to eat.

He almost chokes when you ask him to try something from his meal, I think it's pretty much canon that he doesn't like sharing it, just like you.

He will complain a bit, but overall agrees just to see you happy, after laughing and commenting on how funny your puppy eyes look.

He doesn't feed you though, just hands you the plate and waits 'till you're done, but he'll take it back as soon as he can.

He'll ask you to try your own in return and will snitch it from you if you don't give it to him willingly. It basically becomes a competition on who can steal more stuff from the other.

After you leave the place, Orange boy is even faster than you and asks to go grab something else before you can even open your mouth. It turns into a race at who can arrive first to the nearest pizzeria, and the two of you end up eating it in top of the nearest stone wall.

Narancia isn't really concerned about your eating habits, but there might be times when he just has to stop and watches you in pure confusion and shock as you keep on chewing like it's nothing.

He can't cook for shit, but you're a lucky one, because you get the special pass that will make him share his snacks with you. It's an honor he doesn't give to many, be grateful for it.

He becomes more careful if you ever were to feel sick though, especially since he would have no idea of what to do to help you get better and probably burn a cup trying to prepare a camomile for you.

Fugo 🍓

Fugo is that kind of person that looks at food and is already full somehow. He might even skip a meal or two if he's too busy with work or just caught up in something else, so please try to remind him to take care of himself before it becomes a recurring habit.

When it comes to fancy restaurants and dinners, I think Fugo wouldn't mind them and would carefully follow the place's etiquette. Although I can't help but think he'd also be extremely nervous, thinking of any possibly way he could make a fool out of himself in front of all those important or rich people.

He isn't very skeptical when it comes to food, and enjoys what the chef has to offer. He has no problem sharing it with you when you ask him, but I do believe he'd be a bit surprised, considering how much stuff you've already ordered for yourself.

Another one who would hand you the plate, but tells you to be quick. He knows one shouldn't take food from the other's, but he's too shy to feed it to you himself.

He'd give you a little smile and remarks how much you seem to be enjoying yourself, which makes him happy and helps him loosen up a bit of the tension he has created inside of his brain.

He may not agree immediately when you tell him you want to go grab something else. He doesn't understand how you can still be hungry after such a dinner, but he's not in the mood for arguing and is afraid he may lose his patience if you insisted too much, so he decides to play along.

He doesn't have the stomach for anything else, unless we're talking about a strawberry flavored dessert. He'll probably feel ashamed of himself for eating so much the next day.

He probably remarks a couple of times how an excessive assumption of food could be bad for your health etcetera...

Although he'd get incredibly technical and specific about it, so whether you listen to him or not it's up to you, just remember he's doing it for your sake.

Abbacchio 🔄

A huge picky eater. I mean, he'd eat almost anything if he has to, but there are few things Abbacchio genuinely enjoys eating.

I do believe that he'd love to go on a dinner date with you, but he would highly dislike the atmosphere, probably because of all the rich guys giving him weird looks for the dark way he dresses.

With that being said, he's probably way more interested in trying some wines rather than the actual plates they serve. He might even start to ramble to you about their differences in taste, their quality, the country they were made in and all.

So when you ask him to have some of his food, he's kind of startled. He looks at you, sighs and feeds you a forkful of whatever he happened to be having. He doesn't want you to take stuff from his plate, that's disgusting.

He really likes long walks and was planning on simply relaxing, when you had the courage to give him that fake innocent look and tell him you wanted more.

He's unsure if he should go along with you or not, but he doesn't even have the time to think about it, considering you've already taken his hand and are dragging him to the nearest food stall you could find.

He tells you to stop eating so much and that it's bad for your health, but he's secretly chuckling to himself seeing your goofy smile as you get your face all dirty.

Will probably hand you and handkerchief to clean yourself lol.

You insist on wanting to try something made by him, but Abbacchio constantly claims that he can't cook.

He's lying.

He could prepare basic meals before and during his time as a Passione soldato, but I can't help but think he's gotten consistently better at it, having to help Bruno cook for 5 people.

Will shove off any compliment you try to give him, commenting how you simply "like everything"

Trish 🎙

I believe Trish has a huge sweet tooth, but kinda keeps it hidden, since it would mind of ruin her whole appearance as someone who's very careful to her physical form. She does make an effort not to exaggerate and is pretty good at it, since she forces herself on a pretty strict diet most of the time.

She loves to go from party to party and have fun, but she doesn't mind a fancy dinner with her significant other once in a while! She is quite busy with her singing career, and only wants the best for her and her darling. Besides...It's the perfect chance for her to wear that new pink dress she's been meaning to show off.

She only picks the most high-classed meal the restaurant has to offer, but she doesn't even get the chance to try it before your eyes already fall on it. She'll raise an eyebrow and say "Really?" While trying to contain a small chuckle, but she won't say no. She thinks you're so adorable when you give her that look and will call you puppy for the rest on the night because of your eyes.

When you left the place, the thought of getting a dessert somewhere else crossed her mind, but she didn't dare to express it out loud.

That is, of course, until you shamelessly did for her. You kind of expected her to be surprised or not to accept immediately, but boy were you wrong.

This girl will happily hold tighter to your hand as she leads you to her favourite gelateria. She'll ask you of you want to share an ice cream with her, but you both end up taking your own because you're too gluttonous.

If you were to remark how, to your surprise, Trish seems to be having a blast as much as you, she'll deny everything and will probably say that she's just doing it because you wanted to.

Since she's the daughter of a single mom, I think she learned how to cook just to help out Donatella as much as she could when she was still alive. She doesn't like to and is not an expert chef, but she tries.

If we're talking about baking, however, she's all in for that! One day, she might even surprise you with a picnic on the beach or park, full of sweets prepared by her :)

Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Season 2: Episode 10 Review

- Starting off the episode with a mass murder, beautiful. Though the good thing is that there’s a cool down period so if we can draw out the fight long enough, we may be able to win

- Chuchu begging Secelia despite her being a Spacian, how far we’ve come. And the fact that she hooks her boy Rouji up to get some tech info is also great.

- Felsi is the best girl and I will accept no disagreements. The way Earth House just adopts her like a homeless puppy is funny. Also the fact that she was so willing to do something besides wait for Petra to get better is great. She is the ultimate kusogaki as she is the only one going to the final battle.

- GOD DAMN IT ANIME GIVE ME YOUNG ELAN FOOTAGE!

- I’m guess the backstory was cut due to time constraints but I just want to see who the Elan’s were before they’re unfortunate unpersoning. However, we were still given delicious 5nore crumbs so I will accept it. It’s interesting how El5n stated El4n was the lucky one despite earlier in the series saying he was unfortunate. He finally realized that even though El4n died, he had someone who loved him, and now he knows just how important his actions towards Norea were. His line about envy could be directed at either Norea, Suletta, or El4n, and I hope he finds his own self separate from the Elan persona that had been forced on him

- Suletta and Guel’s duel was so stupid but so adorable. It really hammers home how they’re still children and they’ll do childish things. Also Guel 100% threw that duel, or at least they animated it so it was clear Guel knew how to fence but Suletta was just floundering. He’s the ultimate supporter of lesbians and I love him for that. Please G-Witch, give him a boyfriend. Also Guel slapping himself to remind himself not to butt in on SuleMio’s affairs, lol.

- The talk between Suletta and Miorine with slash playing in the background was just *chef’s kiss* perfect. Right or wrong, and even if there’s nothing to gain, Suletta wants to move forward. And she wants to move forward with Miorine. They have to face their problems head on. They lock fingers, willing to move on together.

- Guess they didn’t have the money for Delling’s VA. But it is nice to see a realistic depiction of a coma patient. Though I’m not sure if he appreciates being yelled at after he wakes up

- What is Prospera searching for? It can’t be the Calibarn. Is it something special Notrette made? And who removed it?

- What deal did she make with Shaddiq? Is she taking his harem squad? Did she plan to work with him on Earth?

- The fact that the tomato is literally embedded with love in its very DNA is beautiful. The tomato has always represented love in this series, and here we see that it’s very creation was because of Miorine’s mother’s love for her.

- Poor Suletta is struggling hard in that Gundam, but also it’s the coolest suit in the show so far. IT HAS A FREAKING BROOM. SHE IS LITERALLY THE WITCH FROM MERCURY. RECLAIM THE SLUR

- Suletta is talented. Aerial used to overshadow as we didn’t know how much handholding Eri was doing, but this proves she’s great even without it. The Holiday. Hot people Christmassy romcom, what's not to like? What Jack Black does with his character!! Beautiful!! And do I need to say more than Kate Winslet? Also single dad Jude Law in glasses!! Cameron Diaz rocking out to The Killers!! And driving a Mini down a country road and nearly getting wiped out by a lorry. So accurate it's *chefs kisses* Favourite scenes include: Arthur's moment to shine, Miles and Iris in Blockbuster and the tent scene with the kids with an honourable mention for Mr Napkinhead 😂 It's my go-to movie whenever I'm sad because it's just so stupidly funny and adorable.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Jim Carrey. That's all I have to say. Honestly, I've seen this film a million times. I can quote it by heart and do so regularly much to my mums annoyance. The schedule scene is very me anytime I'm invited anywhere 😂 some favourite quotes "Am I just eating because I'm bored" "Hate, hate, hate. Hate, hate, hate. Double hate. LOATHE ENTIRELY!" "We're gonna die! I'm going to throw up, and then I'm gonna die!" "The insolence! The audacity! The unmitigated gall!" "Nice kid... bad judge of character" (absolutely me with my niblings) It's just the perfect remedy whenever I'm ill.

The Muppets Christmas Carol. I love all the adaptations but this one is my favourite. Me and my mum snuggle up every Christmas Eve and sing along. It reminds me of the magic of childhood Christmases and soothes something deep in my soul.

The Old Guard. This is the only adrenaliney one cos I have anxiety and I need chill shit if I watch a film but Joe & Nicky are my perfect Immortal Husbands and the tiny details of their relationship are all-encompassing and easily distract from all the murder and kidnap 😂

Mary Poppins. Do I need to say more than Julie Andrews? Dick Van Dyke. The outfits. The songs. Suffragettes. Tea parties on the ceiling. Dancing penguins. The merry-go-round horses. When I was a kid my mum used to foster so our house was always full of kids who needed someone to love them, make them feel safe and bring them some joy. That's probably why Poppins is one of my comfort characters, my mum was her.

Alice In Wonderland. Any of the adaptations. They're all brilliant. I do love the 1951 animation though mainly bc I adore the dormouse scene but becoming BFFs with a load of weird and wonderful creatures in a dreamstate is just *chefs kisses* Any scene with The Mad Hatter in any of the adaptations is my favourite but I am a sucker for the clean cup move down scene.

Sherlock Gnomes. I also love any Sherlock adaption but this one's just hysterical. Watson is just done™️. Sherlock and Juliet's squirrel disguise when sneaking through the park kills me every time. Moriarty as a pastry mascot and the fact he has dumb gargoyles as his assistants. Perfection really. Honestly, this film is just so fucking stupid you can't possibly feel sad when you watch it.

Monsters, Inc. bc it might've been like twenty years but I still want a Sully hug!! Also the pure beautiful hilarious chaos that is this film cracks me up. "Mike Wazowski", "Always watching" and "Put that thing back where it came from or so help me" are just killer lines. I absolutely adore The Abominable Snowman too he's just too sweet.

The Addams Family. Any of the films. All of the films. Gomez and Morticia are ultimate couple goals. They adore each other. Support their kids unconditionally. So kind and generous it often gets them in trouble. They're just perfect.

Red, White And Royal Blue. Last but not least, only because it's the newest. This film was amazing!! I adored the book and although the film is different I love that it's basically a 'what if' fanfic of itself. It was genuinely lovely to be able to watch a queer story and be able to relax with it!! Don't get me wrong I love how profound queer films can be but they either have me gripped in anxiety waiting for the shoe to drop or have me reaching for a comedian to brush away the deep-seated sadness. I felt so safe and yeah they have their ups and downs like every couple but I think I'd have felt the same safety with those characters even if I hadn't read the book first. 5* 10/10 highly recommend. Will be watching this on repeat for the foreseeable future.

I also want to thank you for this amazing site especially with the multiple systems and sub systems functions and EVERYTHING! It is amazing for severely Polyfragmented and complex systems like Levi and I hope that by using links now from this point forward can help lessen a bit of the burden of space being used for the site instead of uploading every single avatar since there is well over 10k in Levi’s systems all together. Yeah!! It's actually pretty funny that we had an inkling to add subsystem support natively into Lighthouse at the beginning of development because it ultimately helped us uncover a subsystem (or two??) in our own very recently.

We have to give credit to the community though for the extra attention given to subsystems! We hadn't thought to nest subsystems under others, or have them kind of intertwined with other systems. But the community brought those features up and I think that's just so awesome. It's really nice to watch, to see us all as a group kinda help each other along kind of.

Thank you for the kind words. Hopefully soon, our home situation will be changing and it'll be a lot easer for us to properly give Lighthouse the resources it needs to flourish!

I live in apartments and you can always smell the neighbors cooking especially when it's going wrong, and idk but I thought it'd be a cute prompt for some reddie for you.

OMGGG YES I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!!!!

especially because i have my hc that richie is actually a really good cook. so every night he cooks these great dinners for himself.... but he can also smell his neighbour's dinners, which 90% of the time smell burnt and just not right. richie wonders how his neighbor can get their cooking so wrong so often (literally, richie has to clear the smell of burning food out of his own apartment like, 4 times a week...), until he eventually meets said neighbor.

one night while he's cooking, richie hears a knock on his door. he's not expecting anyone, so he's curious as he answers the door, and he's even more surprised when he sees a very handsome man standing at his door, looking flustered. the man introduces himself as eddie, his neighbor, and he explains that he's finally swallowing his pride to come over and ask richie what on earth he's cooking and how to make it because eddie can smell richie's cooking every single night from his apartment, and it smells so good that eddie tries to recreate a dish from what he smells but he's not the best chef and it always ends up... well, they both know how it always ends up.

at first richie finds it funny, but he's also flattered that this guy likes just the smell of his cooking so much, and he also feels bad for eddie, who just wants to make himself a nice meal. so he invites eddie in, gives him a little crash course in cooking while he finishes up dinner, and he even invites eddie to stay for dinner and oh my god this is the best thing eddie's ever tasted in his life.

after that, richie gives eddie a few of his favourite recipes plus a few tips and tricks on how to not burn everything he makes, and richie is pleased when the unappetizing smells from before are replaced with the delicious aroma of eddie actually cooking something nice. sometimes eddie even brings over the food he cooked to show richie, and even though sometimes it's overcooked or there's too much salt richie still eats it all and shows his support.

(also also, this kind of reminds me of a hc i made WAAAAAAAY way back where richie and eddie are apartment neighbors and eddie likes to sit on his balcony and play guitar, and richie loves listening to the guitar music that his neighbor plays <3)

Thai QL Favorites Tag game

First time doing this, I think Ive been here for a month? Came from reddit but wasn't part of the bl community there.

Of course I'm following along with the Favorite thing over "best" cause it's probably more interesting than just saying ITSAY.

Favorite Thai QL: So I want to say Not Me or 1000 stars, for different reasons. I started watching Not Me before I understood it was a BL, and was very confused when offgun started having "moments". Wasn't mad about it, just wasn't expecting it. I thought it was just mystery/social commentary. That said, I wish it went a little harder on the social commentary, but I understand that they might have pushed as far as they could at the time (while still getting money to make the show)

But 1000 stars made me feel all the emotions and if I ever need to just have a good cry, that's my go to.

Favorite Pairing: Disclaimer, I hate the fanservice and pressure for the actors to act like they're dating. That being said, I like OffGun, omg I love Gun's acting in Not Me. And I like EarthMix, I just wish Earth was able to not be type cast into such serious roles. He seems like a very funny dude, give him a character who can be bubbly. I like everything they've been in, and I hope to see more in the future.

Most underrated actor: Perth Nakhun Screaigh? I'd like to see him in more stuff. Before Laws of Attraction came out I would have said Film. Jam and Film both did great in To Sir, here's to hoping they get more attention.

Favorite Character: It might be early, but Charn from Laws of Attraction. From a show that is already completed, White. We took a well off boy who saw there was wrong in the world, decided he didn't like how his brother was doing things, and figured his own way of fixing the world. I'm starting to see I have a type. Charn might be a mix of Black and White if they had decided to work from inside the judicial system. Protecting who they could while being jaded and waiting for a chance to get back at those in power.

Favorite Side Character: I'm a simple person - Max from BMF, just because it's nice to see a confident gay character that is smart. He doesn't have much screen time, but whenever he does I am so ready for it.

Favorite scene in a QL: Pisaeng winning the stuffed animal for Kawi in Be My Favorite. How he was acting before and after, the whole thing was perfect and showed so much of Pisaeng's character. My favorite type of scene, and I think Thai bl does a really good job at it, is colored lighting. I think I first noticed it in KP during the Vegas Pete scenes. They started mixing the colors as Pete and Vegas started to understand each other more *chefs kiss* that type of thing is my jam.

Favorite line in a QL: Oh this is hard cause I do not have the memory for these types of things. So I'm going to cheat a little and say anytime consent is asked for and given.

Most Anticipated QL (& why): Looking forward to Only Friends really no other reason than it looks like it's about to be great fun. Also the two horror bls coming up, The Whisper and The shadow? I don't know much about either and I'm going to keep it that way.

Healthiest relationship in a QL: Gun and Cher from a boss and a babe? Cher did feel super inferior but that didn't come from Gun. Gun supported Cher with everything and Cher felt comfortable to "act like a bad boss" in our skyy. I liked their whole vibe.

Most toxic relationship in a QL: EVERYONE from Love Syndrome? Just... the whole thing. Itt and Day's levels of jealousy are off the charts and played off as romantic. Day doesn't want Itt to learn how to cook or do anything for himself because he wants Itt to be completely dependent on him. I'm hoping for Only friends to be toxic, but not played off as romantic.

Guilty pleasure series: I will knock you or ghost host ghost house. They're both really fun and I can just turn off my brain to watch.

Most Underrated Series: Apparently La Pluie? To Sir With Love needs more attention, but it's very different than what we normally expect from Thailand. Also, even though I understand all the flack it got, I really liked Step By Step.

   *clears throat*  WILDER I LOVE YOOOOOU!! 

    wilder is, as they would say, just as "hamster-brained" as me! and if we had giant hamster balls, i imagine we would run into each other and fall over. no real reason, it's just a funny thought in my head! for realsies though, they really do support the chaotic gremlin energy that i want to put out and i appreciate it so so much! they are so incredibly friendly and authentic and fucking hilarious even if they don't think so. it's not uncommon to find myself having long conversations with them about any topic, whether silly muse things, deep character analysis, or just life in general ( we have a few things in common teehee~ ). they are an open and understanding person who has successfully made me cry ( yes wilder, you did it, you achieved that heart event ), and they make it easier and comfortable to want to unmask and be myself. :) 

    that being said, wilder's doflamingo portrayal is *chef's kiss*. i never thought i'd ever really want to write with a doffy, because in all honesty his character scares me, but wilder writes him so well, and they recognize, analyze, and portray all of his mental health issues without trying to redeem him or make excuses for his behaviors as a character. any time they talk about him on the dash or in my DMs, i can't help but nod and say to myself 'yes, yes wilder, you get it!!' i fully trust them to write doflamingo's character in an interesting and appropriate way that gets me excited to write with them! even when their doffy is so incredibly accurate and unsettling and creepy. 

    but i can't not mention that they also write an amazing rosinante?! who makes me feel sunshine and warmth and all smiley when i read wilder's stuff for him — smiley like the smiley potatoes that rosi gave luffy for valentine's day~ i've been giving so much attention to doffy, but i definitely need to write more threads with their rosi as well!

    i know we BOTH get anxious about the fact that we can never shut the fuck up, but i really do appreciate wilder for talking with me a lot and humoring my ideas. they are so willing to listen to me ramble about my OC and to jump into interacting/plotting in some of my verses and ships, and it makes me that much more excited to write as a result! i love them very many and they deserve so much kindness and tenderness and love, as someone who so openly offers it themself.

    anyway, wilder and i are running away together and moving to seattle, and rabbit doesn't know this yet, but he's coming with us. <3
