Twidash Family: Eldest son, Whirlwind, daughter, Lucky Charm, and youngest son (child of Gilda that Twilight and Rainbow Dash adopted from her when she expressed that she didn't want to be a mother), Gilderoy

Rarijack Family: Eldest son, Apple Beryl, and triplet boys, Crispin (green), Jonagold (yellow), and Bailey (red)

Fluttercord Family: One and only child, Hodgepodge (and yes, Discord was the one that was pregnant with her)

Cheesepie Family: Eldest child, Lil' Cheese (Cheese Sandwich Jr., or C.J.), and the triplets, Nea (brown girl), Poli (pink boy), and Tan (white girl); the foal that Pinkie is currently pregnant with will be a girl named Brie

Since it's Hearts and Hooves day I thought I'd finally post the ships for my next gen, Rarity is missing because I'm still figuring it out.  The pony with Flim is an adopt I got from Unknown-Artist99 on Deviantart and I've already got the names for the foals of AppleDash and CheesePie and the design for a FlamLight foal too.

Rariappledash is just my #1 poly ship I love all three of these dynamics and I can’t pick one, so in the nextgen au I have in my head they all have a bunch of wacky kids together and are a huge happy family.

Rarity has to take a lot of trips out of ponyville to manehatten and canterlot, and even some other cities for her boutiques so she’s not as involved with raising the kids but she spends as much time with them as possible and they all love mama Rarity (who may or may not feel guilty about being more absent and tends to shower the kids in gifts because of it)

RD also has to leave for wonderbolt things sometimes, especially when Spitfire retired and Rainbow takes her place as the captain. On very rare occasions she and Rarity are both gone at the same time, and Aj can definitely get overwhelmed. Thankfully Apple Bloom and Big Mac are there to help, even if they do have lives of their own now. Not to mention Pinkie and Cheese love to bring Lil’ Cheese over for playdates (and to give the mom trio a break)

One of the kids says “My mom can beat up your mom!” one time and like. Yeah.

Rd is “forced” to go on spa dates with her wives (she loves it)

Aj and Rd like to plan huge lavish surprises for Rarity, and they sometimes compete for who can spoil her the most. Rarity loves this and fully encourages it.

Rarity is always making gifts for her loved ones no matter how old she gets, her children are always prepared with a stunning outfit or two, and her wives and in-laws can always count on her to give amazing gifts during heartswarming

Twiset/Sunlight is canon in this au (I’m keeping twilight’s normal alicorn design, I just prefer it to the celestia recolor) and the Rariappledash trio like to come by canterlot castle to help them relax, because they (Mostly Twilight) tend to get overstressed about leading a country

Triple dates with Cheesepie and Fluttercord all the time

The CMC and Pound & Pumpkin Cake babysit often

Pinkie and Cheese are one of the first to have kids, and they have a LOT ahah. 5 in total but I don't have any design ideas for their youngest yet

Mud Pie is their first child. They're very enby and like to say Pog a lot (everypony around them is very confused what that means). They specialize in rock candy, and go mining for their secret ingredient for their famous rock candy! Thus, all the rock candy in their mane

Knuckle Sandwich seems to be a very angry, grumpy, "talk with my fists" kind of guy, but deep down... eh, he's still angry and grump Knucks does have a soft heart inside. You can see it in the way he angerly tells you to drink water, or don't give up on your dreams, idiot. He is a very passionate and emotional man, and his emotions just so happen to be anger most of the time!

Jammin Pie is like a much more chill, mysterious version of Pinkie Pie. She loves to party, and just want's to put a smile on everypony's face. But Jam's version of partying and smiles is less "lets party so hard you cant HELP but smile", and more "let's talk about our feelings over drinks and some fries and then go out to town at midnight to do crazy things". Jam is adventurous, believes in the healing properties of breaking the rules sometimes, and loves creating the perfect cocktails for everypony. Oh also she's trans :3

Ice Cream Sandwich is much more "normal" compared to the rest of her family (at least, normal by CheesePie family standards). She loves baking, making ice cream, and making fillies and foals smile with joy. In her spare time, she paints her hooves, reads comic books, thinks about her anxiety and the inevitability of disappointment, and making ice cream from scratch :)

At last, I have updated the CheesePie and Flormato family pictures, just in time for Thanksgiving! Our two leading stallions are certainly thankful to have the best wives they could ask for, and a bunch of awesome kids.

Anyway, Cheese does have a different middle-aged design than in the show, because giving him a few gray hairs and bags under his eyes is lazy--I have him wear his glasses, a different outfit, and while it’s not obvious at first, his hair’s thinner and he’s gonna go bald as he ages. Sorry, Cheese, you’re not as lucky as your voice actor (or your brother, he gonna keep his hair ‘til the day he dies, haha).

No visible gray hair for anyone, but, eh, you know that will come later.

Anyway, have a Happy Thanksgiving!

((First off, I tried my hand at drawing the canon CheesePie kid, Li’l Cheese. I’m really happy with how she turned out, especially since trying to recreate that cutie mark was a pain! Regardless, she’s having fun being a bouncy leader. 

Okay, so, about those two other ponies with Li’l Cheese...

I could have left the Flormato family alone, just let them stay at six while canon gives them a new cousin and bumps the CheesePie family up to seven (not counting parents). Leave it at a baker’s dozen of Sandwich offspring from two couples. 

But then, two evil thoughts came to my mind. One, “I should totally come up with a pony based on that Darkwing Duck character I really like”. And two, “wouldn’t it be funny if we struck Tommy and Flora with that ‘twin curse’ that runs through the Sandwiches’ mom’s side of the family?”

I caved to both, and the Flormato family has been bumped up to eight (pfft, like Flora and her siblings), bringing the total of Sandwich Kiddos to fifteen.

I’m making sure they’re the last by making them sort of a bookend; where the CheesePie family had started with twins Pizza Pockets and Fudge Fondue, the Flormato family ended with twins Wildflower and Boxthorn. 

So, some tidbits on the new kids:

They’re a year younger than Li’l Cheese. 

Wildflower’s the older twin, full of spunk, sass, and a keen eye for beauty and detail, which helps her in her photography talent. She’s a social butterfly and loves going on adventures. She’s also got a temper that’s enough to make her peers call her “Wildfire” at times. 

Boxthorn’s the younger one, who’s a shy, awkward dweeb who can be a little too curious and ambitious for his own good, which lead to a talent in science (mainly biology and chemistry), and him being a walking disaster, whether by accident or he’s just feeling a little mischievous toward someone who crossed him. He was kind of inspired by Dr. Bushroot, the aforementioned Darkwing Duck character. 

They’re both hopeless romantics. 

And with that, I’m just gonna let these kids play for now.))

L’il Cheese and Camembert

*Camembert is a CheesePie foal OC I created back in late elementary school/early middle school

Well, if we’re going to give the CheesePie kiddos some cousins on their mothers’ side, might as well go all the way with all three of Pinkie’s sisters! 

With Limestone, I went straight into crack ship territory and went, “Okay, but what if that Choosing Stone ended up pointing to that ex-Royal Guard that became an artist, Spearhead?” There’d probably be a funny story behind that where Limestone, disliking that doofus at first, tries to figure out why the stone would point to this guy. And then somehow spending time with him and getting introduced to his hobbies proves kinda therapeutic and Limey just softens toward him over time. 

Yadda yadda yadda, then Granite Pie, Sandstorm, and Flint Arrowhead arrive over the next several years. 

With Maud, she married Mudbriar, who was already her long time boyfriend by that point, and their relationship was probably the smoothest out of the Pie romances. There were minor bumps in the road concerning each others’ families, but for the most part, things went fairly well.

Slowly but surely, along came Rock Maple, Gravel Mulch, and Jet Black (in case you’re wondering, there’s a type of rock formed from decaying wood called jet).

And then Marble ends up with out of all ponies, Bluejinx. It was another Choosing Stone deal, with both parties feeling really awkward about it and Blue making it clear that he doesn’t like being forced into marriage with somepony he’s only acquainted with. They just agree to be friends at first; after the initial awkwardness and then some genuine friendship time, then they fall in love for real, which leads to more awkwardness when they remember the Stone and then eventually not caring and agreeing to wed. 

Born from them are Jasper Stone (only named so in honor of Blue’s late father), Crystal Clear, and Graphite Sketch. 

They’re all drawn as foals here because I’ve yet to determine all of their talents and cutie marks, and what their ages are in comparison to the CheesePie foals. Regardless, this was kind of fun.
