Okay, I give up. I've dug through your blog like a rabid raccoon trying to find the answer to this question so I shall assume that you have not answered it before. If you have, my apologies.

What art program and brush do you use? Your art has such a texture to it. It makes me think of the sensation of running my fingers over the pages of an old book. I'd like to see if I can recreate that myself.

Also, I thought Ingo was a ship captain when I first saw him too. You aren't alone.

Oh i don’t think i’be answered that before! Even if, i don’t find shit on my own blog so i really don’t blame you.

I’ve been using Procreate for years now almost every day and pretty much from the beginning i feel in love with the drawing brush Eaglehawk!

Might be the name, might be the nice pencil texture, might be both, but I haven’t found a brush that I love more than this one. I use it for all my lineart and sketching and often also shading because i love the texture so much! Otherwise for colouring I use Lucas Peinador’s Magic Chalk E which was a free brush pack.

edit: For references I use VizRef and it's a lifesaver! if you're working on PC, get PureRef, it's free but they give you a cool doggo gif if you donate :D

I’m very glad you also think Ingo looks like a weathered ship captain. Like he clearly has been through shit and I was pretty sure it was rough seas!
