another reason i love firefox (i know, there's a lot already) is that i do fandom marathons, wherein i pick a fandom and i adjust the filters and then i read everything that shows up on my screen, and when i'm done with that, i loosen the filters a bit and bookmark the page and check it once a week or so, so i get to read the newer material as it comes out after i've already read all the old stuff up to now. right?
and so, excluding the fandoms i'm not in anymore, i now have twenty five (that's 25) bookmarks that i open AT ONCE, and then open the new fics in NEW TABS, so at any given time i could have fifty or so tabs open in the same window, and yes a lot of it is probably down to my computer, i'm pretty happy with it, but i'm betting firefox itself has a lot to do with how smooth it's working. (i'm actually typing this with thirty or so tabs open and the letters don't even lag to appear on the screen. this is what satisfaction feels like)
#stupid#btw#i feel all smug about this computer#i spent WEEKS#WEEEEEEKS#googling technical shit i can barely understand let alone decide if it's necessary for a computer to have#(we all know a lot of stuff i just gadgets)#but i did that and i completed my research and then i narrowed down the possibilities in both availability and price#and then i got this computer#and it was dirt cheap compared to even the cheapest i could find#and it works like a fuckin dream#im so smug about this honestly#is this what success feels like cause if it is i need to figure out how to get it more often

I really like my CO2 meter and I want to tell you about it!
It's a little gadget that measures the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. Did you know your body at rest burns about 100 grams of food/fat an hour? This means you're constantly breathing out carbon dioxide at a rate of about 100 grams an hour. This can rise by quite a lot of you're exercising, and it's less when you're sleeping. This means if you usually keep your doors and windows closed, as I usually do in winter since I live in a cold climate, it can build up fast. You can even breathe directly on the meter and watch the number rise rapidly.
I've had this meter on my desk for many years. It's basically a clock so you can notice the air quality at a glance and it's always on and doesn't produce light. (Note the black tape over the power LED on the left because my autistic ass can NOT sleep with an LED in the room.) It cost about £90 when it was new so it's not the cheapest thing in the world but it's built to last and it's been worth it. This isn't an ad and I'm not saying go for this brand, it's just a gadget that I think improves my life. It's always a good reminder of when I should open the windows.
I'm not 100% sure how well supported this is, but I've seen it said online that a carbon dioxide level of over 1000ppm can lower a person's cognitive function by about 25%. It can be an issue with classrooms with a lot of people. Normal outdoor levels are about 300-400ppm. Whether you believe that is up to you, but I do think fresh air makes people feel better and this serves as a good reminder to let it in. People like to make carbon monoxide jokes on this website, but sometimes high CO2 can be an issue around his you generally feel. It can also build up faster than you'd think if you have multiple people about and no windows open.
Time to open the window! (Apologies for the photo quality, the reflective LCD is not the easiest thing in the world to photograph without shadows or huge reflections.)

HT: Some people are just beginning to discover your success. How long has the band been together and jamming?
Gerard: The band has been together 3 years. Another interesting fact is that the band has yet to "jam." It's never been the kind of situation where we sit around and search for songs. The songs find us, we assemble, and put the pieces together.
HT: You guys write music that follows some type of concept. Does this help you write the music and do you mind giving us a breakdown of how a concept is brought to the writing table?
Gerard: The concepts for the songs almost always come from the music. How the music makes us feel dictates where the direction lies. Occasionally, the song concept will come from a long list of unused song titles I have sitting in my mom's computer. They will sometimes find a home.
HT: If you were stranded on a deserted island with only 3 albums to jam out to, which ones would you choose?
Gerard: This is a tough one but I would probably go with The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths, Walk Among Us by The Misfits, and Music For Airports by Brian Eno.
Gerard: The band was nervous, scared, excited, and anxious but all very positive and looking forward to what we were about to make, which, by the way, had no definite shape or sound.
HT: You guys have been on tour forever! What's one of the things you love most about being on the road?
Gerard: The camaraderie you share with your band mates and other bands is priceless. The victories and defeats you have everyday are immeasurable when compared to other lifestyles or careers. The risk and hardship are great but when you have 3,000 people sing back your words, you win like no one ever wins.
HT: Gerard, does anyone ever mistaken you for Billy Corgan?
Gerard: When I was younger, it would happen all the time. When he shaved his head, people thought I was him with a wig on. He is, in fact, a lot taller than me.
Gerard: We don't get on the internet much, but when we do, some of our favorite sites are www.homestarrunner.com, www.absolutepunk.net, and www.americandreamcomics.com
HT: We are in a new age of music with new gadgets to accommodate that music, and it's pushing us into the future. How do you position yourself on music downloads, for or against?
Gerard: Downloading is a good thing, protected under the federal laws. The way I've always felt about music downloading is this. If you are curious and want to find out what a band sounds like, then go download it. If you like it, go buy it. If you hate it, well then there's really no reason to buy it. But ultimately, a band's record sales support them personally, so if you want the artist to be able to go live and work then you should pick up their music... for the cheapest price possible.
HT: What's a question you wish was never asked from a fan or interview?
Gerard: Hmm..."Would you please bite me on the neck?"

Ruben Dias x Reader - Top Spies Part 2/8
Ruben and Reader are super spies, who have to pretend to be a married couple on vacation as a co-signed mission. A enemies to lovers fic, very sweet and funny!
Enjoy!
"Mr and Mrs Moreno, your room is ready!
Captain Harlow had you and Ruben fly out to Madeira the same evening that you received the mission. You and Ruben arrived at the hotel just before dinner time.
"You can have the bed, I'll take the couch." Ruben said, as you entered your neat little suit. It was a five star hotel so even the cheapest rooms looked expensive.
"Don't be silly. Housekeeping we'll be coming in and out of this room all the time. They'll think it's strange if they find bedding on the couch. It's best we don't do anything that will draw any unusual attention to ourselves."
Ruben just grunted in response and disappeared into the bathroom.
He's just mad because he knows you're right, you thought. Many men were like that. Too blinded by their egos.
You heard Ruben run the shower water. You told him not to take too long and that you'd go ahead down to the hotel restaurant and reserve a table for dinner. It was a fancy place, not just hotel guest dining there.
"Table for two Mrs Moreno?" The waiter at the door asked.
"Yes, that would be great thanks."
"Right this way."
You followed the waiter through the restaurant and towards your table. He left you with the drink menu and assured that he'd send your husband this way once he arrived.
"What's that you're wearing darling? Such a beautiful dress."
At one point whilst you were waiting, a lady accompanied by her family, leaned over from the next table to complement the dress you were wearing.
"Thank you. It's Alexander Mcqueen."
It was a sleevless red gown that hugged your shape like and hourglass.
"It's lovely. I think he likes it too." She winked.
You frowned, not sure who she was reffering to. That is, until a giant shadow was casted before your table.
"Ruben."
You looked up. His gaze was intense and no trace of a smile or amusement on his face.
"Please, sit." You said as he kept staring at you in that intimidating way. At least he dressed up, you thought. Suit and tie. And shaved.
"The waiter hasn't come by yet. He said he would wait for you."
Ruben nodded his head and disappeared behind his menu.
You rolled your eyes and prayed for the girl that would end up marrying Ruben in real life. What a pain.
Observing the crowd you noticed that there weren't many families at the hotel. Only a few young people. The youngest, seated at the table next to you, with the lady that had leaned over to complement your dress.
"What?"
You jumped as Ruben's foot nudged yours under the table. He was looking up from his menu, noticing your drifting gaze.
"The people here.....They are..."
"All guests of Alejandro Martinez." He confirmed.
"How do you know?"
A complecant smile twitched the corner of his lips. "I hacked into the front desk computer."
"How? I was with you when we checked in."
"Yes, but as you were busy with the receptionist, I planted a USB into the front desk server, downloading all the necessary information we could need."
"I see."
He couldn't have thought of that himself. Franklin must have suggested it. He was the best technician at the agency, providing all the best gear and gadgets for the missions. Of course he would give the best stuff to his pal Ruben.
"Why the long face Y/N?" He teseased.
"All I got was a watch and a gun."
"Cute."
"In which way are these people connected to Alejandro Martinez?" You asked.
"See that guy." Ruben leaned forward, pointing to a man at a table across the room. "That's Martinez lawyer and advisor."
"And the woman with him?"
"That's his wife. You see that man over there..." Ruben pointed to another party at the next table. You were trying to keep up but the smell of Ruben's cologne distracted you a bit. "...that's his long time business partner Andrés Fierro."
You frowned "Andrés Fierro, the swindler?" He was a known criminal, often charged with magnificent forgery.
"They're all special guests of Alejandro Martinez."
"Why bring them all here?" You asked.
Ruben shrugged. "Where else can they go on vacation and do illegal business at the same time?"
"Do you think Martinez encourages his guests to do that?"
"It's his own private resort. He can do whatever he wants and so can his guests."
You sat back, your mind racing with newfound ideas. The warm breeze carried the scent of saltwater and tropical flowers, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore created a soothing background noise. But then, suddenly, everything changed.
A child at the table next to you started choking on a piece of food. His face turned blue, and he began to gasp for air. Ruben, who had just called over the waiter to take his order, immediately sprang into action. He rushed over to the child's table, grabbed him by the shoulders, and performed the Heimlich maneuver. The child coughed up the food, gasping for air, and Ruben held him upright until he was sure he was okay.
The room erupted in applause, even you felt your heart swell.
Abençoe! Abençoe você e sua esposa! (Bless you, bless you and your wife.)
It was the lady that had complement your dress earlier. The boy must have been her grandson. She stood and embraced Ruben, kissing him on his cheeks. He looked flushed and slightly embarrassed by all of the attention from the crowded restaurant. The waiters sprung forwards to make sure the young boy was taken care of. They also assured that you and Ruben would be dining on the house tonight, free of charge.
"What a night." You sighed as you and Ruben arrived back into your hotel room. Ruben saved a child's life. Maybe it was pure instict but there was no hesitation when he got up from his seat to help that little boy. For some reason you had always thought of Ruben as selfish and self-centered. Hopefully tonight proved you wrong.
"Which side do you prefer?"
"Huh?"
You had been reminiscing the night when Ruben entered your bedroom, wearing nothing but sweat pants. Your eyes traveled to his naked torso, not hiding the fact that his many abs drew your attention.
"Of the bed?" He said, a smirk on his lips.
"Oh."
You looked to the bed. It was kings sized, big enough for both of you to lay in without touching.
"Left side is fine." You shrugged. However the low grunt that left Ruben's mouth questioned your decision.
"What?"
"I usually sleep on the left side."
"Um...then why did you ask me?"
"I was hoping you'd pick the right side."
"Well I didn't, I picked the left side."
He curled his lip and sighed. "Fine."
"Great."
You slipped into the bathroom to remove your make up. Once you came out, all freshened up, Ruben lay in bed on the right side, his back turned to you. You slipped underneath the covers but quickly realized that what you were wearing was too hot to sleep in. It was only appropriate to sleep with pants on, but since Ruben was comfortable sleeping half naked, why shouldn't you be?
You slipped out of bed to remove your sweats, but that's when you noticed an unusual clenching of Ruben's back muscles, as if he wasn't comfortable in his current sleeping position.
"What's wrong?" You asked.
"I....my shoulder." He grunted, back still turned to you. That must have been why he wanted to sleep on the left side, his right shoulder was hurting.
"Just turn around." You said. He probably didn't want to sleep facing you, but how silly of him if he had an old shoulder injury bothering him.
"You sure?"
"Ruben, please turn around." You joined him in bed as he did.
His expression was tense, eyebrows furrowed.
"What happened to your shoulder. You asked laying you head down on your pillow with your body facing his way.
"A mission gone wrong." He said, a low grunt escaping his mouth as his muscles finally relaxed.
"What happened?"
"We were in a shoot out, me and my partner. I ended up getting shot in the shoulder and he..." His voice hitched, the words not able to escape his mouth.
"Is that why you don't do co-signed missions anymore, because of what happened to your last partner?"
Ruben looked to you but said nothing. His eyes were big in the night, a bit terrifying.
"Ruben what you did today, saving that kid..."
"It was nothing." He grunted, shifting his body so that he wouldn't be facing you directly anymore.
"It was amazing and brave." You said.
Eventually silence fell in the room. Somewhere the ocean met shore with it's crashing waves. The sound made you drift off to sleep, however, not before hearing Ruben's faint words being spoken back to you.
"Thank you."

wait im having thoughts. continuity issue maybe idk if bizly thought of it but. memory removing tech is implied to be complicated/difficult when a company like belltech has access to memory wiping that has a high chance of killing someone. other tech may exist, but this death goo is the most convenient, easy go administer, and or cheapest way for belltech to get rid of dangerous encounters. Its gotta be Specialty Shit in one way or another.
meanwhile. mark winters. has got a neat little gadget that he used on a rando in his neighbourhood in front of his kid + three traumatized teens (who are goin thru it. they just dumped their dad in a lake to protect him. theyre Going Thru It). so its probablt safe. and he used it to wipe that guy’s memories. i dont remember how much memory it was but enough that he managed to get the kids outve trouble Easy. it was cheap (willing to use it instead of paying man off/walking him away to discuss/dispose of), it was low risk (chill in front of kids), and it was easy (no stabbing required)

DA lithium battery for Eco Friendly RV
You’re in the right place if needed a much more Eco-friendly RV.
You wouldn’t throw the ice cream in the living room, Nor Key scratching the brand new car. We knows how to take good care of what we concerns. There is no different with our own planet, right? For those adventurers out there who want to preserve nature while enjoying RV life, here are our favorite eco-friendly RV tips.
Your Eco-Friendly RV – Tips & Tricks
Yes, you can indulge your RV wanderlust and go green at the same time. Here’s how:
Reduce on Fossil Fuels
You probably know that RVs are heavy on fuel. This is neither environmentally friendly nor good for the wallet. Since the average diesel RV only gets 8-14 miles per gallon, it’s imperative to maximize fuel efficiency. Try these RV tips to reduce gas:
Go for a smaller vehicle. If you’re in the market for an RV and want to minimize gas consumption, opt for a smaller Class C motorhome, or even a Class B van. The bigger the rig, the more gasoline it consumes.
Stay up-to-date with maintenance. Small tweaks can make a huge difference. For example, keeping your tires properly inflated can improve fuel consumption by up to 3%.
Change to bio–diesel fuel. Bio-diesel is a renewable, biodegradable fuel made from animal fats, vegetable oils, or recycled restaurant grease. Not currently available at all gas stations. But it’s growing in popularity, and you can use this handy online tool to find alternative gas stations near you.
Press the accelerator lightly. Slow down and enjoy the scenic route. By accelerating less and maintaining a moderate speed, you save fuel. The best speed for an RV is 55 to 60 mph.
Travel light. Only bring travel essentials. Dead weight will slow your RV down and cost you more fuel.
Pro Tip: Switch to lithium RV batteries and reduce hitch weight by up to 70%. The weight of ion lithium RV battery is 1/2 of lead-acid battery with the same capacity.
Charge Your Gadgets With The Power Of The Sun
Most of us use a ton of gadgets every day. Think cell phones, laptops, cameras, and more. Since they all need to be charged, why not reduce energy consumption and use solar energy? After all, solar energy is a completely renewable energy source.
By calculating and armed with solar panels, inverter&controller, most important with our stable and security DA lithium battery pack, You are allowed to charge your gadgets from anywhere. Whether you’re staying in your RV or backpacking in the mountains for the weekend, it never hurts to have solar power at your disposal. Even better, charging your devices with solar power is better for the environment.
Try Your Hand At Dry Camping Or Boondocking
Dry camping and boondocking are some of the best ways to make your RV eco friendly. They are also fun! If you can ditch the connection for a few nights, you’ll be rewarded with open spaces and starry skies, especially for the rednecks out there.
Just because you’re off the grid doesn’t mean you’re necessarily going to be uncomfortable. With high-efficiency household batteries, you can still power essentials like water systems, lighting, and ceiling fans. But not just any battery will do. You need a reliable and energy-efficient power supply to power your weekends.
With our trusty 12V LiFePO4 battery, you can forget about electrical connections and enjoy nature.
Pro Tip: Use the 12V lithium battery (series or parallel connection) to charge and power your lights, fans and pumps, even when you’re in the middle of nowhere. Lithium is the best RV battery ever for boondocking as it is efficient, reliable and environmentally safe.
Switch to Smart, Energy Efficient Lithium Batteries
You can make a huge leap toward Eco friendly RVing with this one small step: switch to lithium RV batteries. Here’s why:
Lithium is toxin-free. While lead-acid batteries may be the cheapest option for an RV, they’re not the greenest. They contain harmful substances, including sulfuric acid and lead. This is why they require maintenance and must be stored properly to prevent spills from contaminating the environment. Lithium batteries are a safer, smarter, environmentally friendly RV alternative. They are non-toxic, non-spillable and recyclable. You can even store them indoors.
Lithium is smart. Lithium batteries are smart batteries because they have a battery management system(BMS) that prevents overcharging (and subsequent damage). They could also access to your phone via Bluetooth. With a few taps, you can see exactly how much energy is left and the statements of every single cell’s healthy.
Lithium is more efficient. Lithium batteries support charge @100% efficiently, while lead-acid batteries charge @85 % efficiently. You can use a smaller and less expensive solar setup to charge lithium than you can charge a similar sized lead-acid battery. Because of their efficiency, lithium battery packs run out of power much less frequently. This is important when you need to use limited power wisely, such as when you’re boondocking!
Quick Tips for Eco Friendly RV Living
Cutting down on fossil fuel use, staying off the grid, harnessing solar power, and switching to smart batteries are all major ways to turn your home-on-the-go into an Eco friendly RV. But here are a few more RV tips to help you go even greener:
Use enzyme-based tank cleaners instead of chemical-based cleaners for your RV toilet.
Switch out basic bulbs and replace them with energy-saving LED lights.
Use reusable, lightweight plates and utensils instead of disposable plastic and polyfoam.
Conserve water by bringing your own water filtration system and using the water around you. Install a water-saving shower head to reduce waste.
Leave no trace! Take everything you brought to the campsite with you when you leave.

Best Methods to Sell Print on Demand Gadgets Online (Part 2)
Do you adore Apple products? Perhaps you have a strong interest in the most recent laptops or a thorough understanding of cutting-edge smartphones. Whatever the reason, now could be an excellent time to launch an online gadgets store, especially given that the consumer gadgets industry in the United States alone is expected to be worth $2.06 trillion by 2023. However, selling online isn't always easy – and you might find yourself at a loss for where to begin. But don't worry; this ultimate guide to selling print on demand gadgets online will assist you. Continue reading to learn more.
How to Sell Print on Demand Gadgets Online? (Part 2)
3. Show Your Gadgets
When selling online, it's critical to present your products in a way that entices customers to buy. Although most online stores rely solely on images and product descriptions, using videos can be an excellent way to highlight the key features of the gadgets you're selling.
Product Descriptions
Your product descriptions should communicate important information like model numbers, key features, and functionality when selling gadgets online. Take the time to write excellent product descriptions; they will pay off in the long run. A good product description that includes keywords can help you improve your website's search engine rankings.
Product Photos
When it comes to customer gadgets, the product's appearance plays a significant role in the purchasing decision. Use well-lit images with a white background to make it easy to identify key product features. You can also take photos of the products being used to give viewers an idea of what they will look like once they have them.
Product Videos
Including a product video in your online store will provide customers with a better understanding of how it will work. Because many customers rely on different interfaces, you could also include videos to demonstrate how smooth and simple the products you sell are to use. Product videos are especially important if you're selling used electronics because they give customers peace of mind that the product is working properly.
4. Set a Price for Your Gadgets
When selling major brand names such as Apple, Microsoft, Dell, and HP, each product will typically come with a suggested retail price. It can make pricing your products much easier. You will, however, need to consider some factors to ensure that you are pricing your products competitively while also making a profit. While the consumer electronics industry is competitive, being the cheapest does not always guarantee success. You can often charge more for your product when you can leverage brand value, customer service, and overall dependability.
5, Pack and Ship Your Gadgets
Product packaging and shipping are critical aspects of any online business. It can account for a significant portion of your overall gadget-selling costs and, as such, should be thoroughly considered to avoid unpleasant surprises later on. Because the fragility of gadgets varies, it's important to assess your packing requirements. Fortunately, there is numerous print on demand fulfillment companies available to assist you in getting your gadgets to your customers. It is, however, critical to read their terms and conditions.
6. Promote your gadgets
No one will know about your business if you do not market it. And if no one knows about it, you won't be able to sell anything. In other words, no matter how good your online store is, if you can't attract traffic, you're doomed. It is why marketing is so crucial. There are numerous ways to market your business. When selling electronics online, it makes sense to concentrate on the most effective digital marketing and promotion methods.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
The higher you rank in search results, the more people visit your website. So, if you can appear at the top of Google's search results for terms closely related to your products, you'll get many people who are ready to buy on your site. Great SEO is time-consuming and may necessitate numerous technical changes to your website.
Social Media
Social media is an excellent free tool for growing and engaging an audience. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok have a lot of consumer attention and are great places to reach out to your target audience. Make use of these platforms to amuse and educate your customers. Don't always go for the direct sell; instead, get their attention and establish yourself, and they'll come to you with their needs.
Paid Advertisements
Paid ads are an excellent way to reach those important to your electronics business quickly. Unlike social media, SEO, and email marketing, the number of people you can reach with paid ads is only limited by your budget. You can use paid social ads for any online store, but they perform best when you own your website.
Email Marketing

I skipped this bullshit with my most recent phone.
not by choice, mind, I bought the cheapest new phone I could afford, which was the Doogee S41, but I've been pleasently surprised.
it's around £100, it's designed with a built in armour casing like an otter box so it won't break after the first drop and, most importantly, it has a headphone jack!!! (it still has bluetooth, so you aren't forced to choose either)
in short it feels like a phone designed to do its job, not sell gadgets (it doesn't even do biometrics), which I can respect
is the camera a bit shit? sure, but I can live with that for everything else it does just as well as a top of the line smartphone for a fraction of the price.
also the protective casing gives it an aggressive 2010s look, which I love for the teenager in me who would have gone apeshit if I'd seen it in a shop
if you want a headphone jack, then avoid all the expensive anglosphere phones, unlearn your sinophobia and go straight for the cheap chinese phones, whatever you get will work just as well as the however many thousand pound google pixel billion+ that'll shatter if you breath on it
Furthermore whoever removed the audio jack from phones should be grilled in front of congress. The fact that I need a dongle to listen to music on a modern telephone while 20 years ago I could have simply plugged a universally standardized cord into the audio jack everyone knew how to use is an anti-human move that should be punished.

How Scammers Are Stealing Your Money on Cash App, Zelle, and Other Payment Platforms
-An original article by Mycolancer
Scammers are out here robbing people left and right, and it’s getting ridiculous. These con artists are using Cash App, Zelle, and similar platforms to trick you into sending money with ZERO intention of ever delivering what they promised. Here’s how they pull it off and why you should be furious. 🤬
The Scams You Need to Watch Out For:
1. Fake Sellers: They act like they’ve got the hottest items—new gadgets, concert tickets, special treats, whatever you’re looking for. The second you send them the cash, poof, they disappear. No product, no refund, no nothing. They’ll bait you with free delivery! 🚚 🛑
2. Posing as Friends or Family: Ever get a message from a friend or family member asking for money? Yeah, don’t trust that right away. These scammers hack into accounts and pretend to be people you know, getting you to send money in a panic, only for you to realize it wasn’t them. 👀
3. Fake Customer Support: This one is just evil. They pretend to be customer service for Cash App or Zelle, offering to “help” you with a refund or some issue. Next thing you know, they’ve tricked you into sending them money instead of fixing anything. 😒
The Red Flags You Shouldn’t Ignore:
• Rushing You: If someone is pressuring you to send money fast, that’s a big sign it’s a scam. They thrive on making you act before you think. 🤔
• Asking for Payment on Peer-to-Peer Apps. Cash in person is best when there’s so many scams out there! Make sure you know they have a good reputation in the community. ‼️
How to Not Get Screwed Over:
• Send Money Only to People You Know: If you don’t know them personally, don’t trust them. Period. Ask people you trust about them! 🥰
• Double-Check Everything: Think you’re sending money to a friend? Call them first to be sure. You’d rather be safe than sorry. 🤓
• Too Good to Be True? IT IS: Those deals that seem like a steal? Yeah, they’re the ones stealing from you. Maybe sourcing cheapest isn’t best…. 🤔🤔🤔
‼️ Don’t let these scammers get away with it. Be smart, be cautious, and don’t trust anyone who’s too pushy or demands payment for certain goodies up front!! Once you send that money, there’s usually no getting it back!! ‼️
Mush love and be safe!
