The Washington Post reports that a federal jury has ordered Rudy Giuliani to pay $148 million to two Georgia election workers who sued him for defamation, asserting that the former New York Mayor and attorney for Donald Trump exposed them to a life-altering torrent of abuse and trauma by promoting false claims that they stole the 2020 election from the former president in Georgia.

Gee, $148 million?  Well, then - in keeping with the season, let us sing, “Joy to the world, the Ghoul is done!”  It seems that while truth is cheap, lies are getting to be quite expensive.  I mean, that’s a lot of cash for a guy who is already broke.  If only he knew some billionaire, who could possibly help bail him out.  Seems that by hooking himself up to the Trump Train, Rudy has gone from ”America’s Mayor” to “America's Payor.”  Why, these days, Rudy acts more like a stray dog looking for some scraps than a former mayor of New York.  

Hell, if times get really bad, maybe Trump can give him a job selling secret U.S. classified documents out of one of Mar-a-Lago’s men’s restrooms.  Or, if that doesn’t work out, perhaps Four Seasons Landscaping is hiring.  Now, if I remember correctly, Rudy never much cared for homeless people.  Wonder if the homeless will accept him into their community now that Rudy’s going broke because it’s sure starting to look like we’re headed for “The Winter of Rudy’s Discount Tent.” 

The funny thing is, when these Trump sycophants/enablers are in front of a microphone or on Fox News, they always seem to talk about all the evidence they have that will finally “set the record straight” and “prove their innocence.”  Then, for some odd reason, when it comes time to actually produce that evidence, its nowhere to be found.  Why, its like, “Your Honor, Nancy Pelosi ate all my evidence.”  They all seem to forget that ancient old axiom stating, “He who licks anus, gets shit on tongue.”

By the way, WTF is up with Rudy’s attorney’s hair?  Is that Rudy’s lawyer or his pool boy?  And did the batteries in his electric shaver die before he finished shaving his head?  Anyway, after leaving the courtroom, Rudy grabbed a microphone and claimed he was going to appeal the ruling because he “wasn’t allowed to present any evidence,” which might be a little difficult given that he actually “refused” to present any evidence.  

Rudy further claimed he didn’t testify in court because he was warned he could be held in contempt, and "This judge has a reputation for putting people in jail.”  Why, its almost as if they insist you tell the truth while under oath.  I mean, who knew trials were run like that?  Good grief!  If you can’t trust a Trump supporter, who can you trust?

Is cheap electric razors bad?

Electric razors they aren't that expensive but this one is gonna be the

cheapest one I found so far twelve bucks and so I just wanted to check it out it says run wiid on it and it took a while again you know I ordered it and apparently it came from Russia .

it was not Amazon Prime but I did get it on Amazon and that's why I was so cheap so

to worry about it.

Akihabara, Shinjuku and Shibuya

After my first day in Tokyo I actually felt really tired so I went to sleep in my pod at about 7pm and then woke up energised at 1.30am so I worked through the last of my diploma coursework modules and then went back to sleep at about 5am. I awoke again at 10.30 and tried to grab myself another french toast from the Lawson convenience store but they didnt have any and I eventually settled for an aloe flavoured yoghurt. It was strange but surprisingly also kinda nice! I headed back to Bridge for a flat white because it had been so good the previous day and to my delight it was much quieter in the cafe this time, and there was also a small chihuahua in a jacket sitting outside the door. I began my adventure in Akihabara again which confused me even by day. Big gaming lounges in multilevel highrises, rows upon rows of claw games filled with anime plush toys, shops selling weird figurines presumably from anime that hadn't ever entered my realm of existence. And yet there was an obsession?! I couldnt comprehend how this would be interesting for people to look at a shop full of tiny figures from a cartoon but I guess this is that nerdy side of Japan! I got more enjoyment from Yodobashi where I picked up a cheap electric shaver that I've been meaning to get for years now. I took the train to Shinjuku and had a walk around and a break for a 7/11 snack of a gratin burger which was quite tasty. I explored the streets of Shinjuku for a while as they started to light up in the dusk and took an early dinner at Kakekomi Gyoza which was a great first experience of dining out in Tokyo. The place was empty when I arrived and I was given an iPad to order from. Even in the English menu the items were described mostly in Japanese so I just took the plunge and ordered the 5 pan fried gyoza not knowing what was inside (and still now not knowing) though I suspect it was pork... The waitress was very sour the entire time despite me trying to be friendly and when she gave me a glass of water with lipstick on the edge I didn't have the heart to ask her for another one in case she threw hot oil at me or something! Two guys came inside and were seated at the table beside me and I initially felt more relaxed when I saw one was a westerner but then I realised they were speaking Japanese and so I felt nervous to eat while they watched on. Luckily, I had read a blog post about this restaurant when searching for places to eat and it described the process one should follow there. I confidently pulled out my chopsticks and prepared a small bowl of soy sauce with a few drops of the chilli flakes and started to dip my gyoza in the sauce as the two guys watched me. It was still uncomfortable as I'm not the best with chopsticks but either they knew already how to make the sauce and I passed that test, or they copied what I had done when making theirs as they did the exact same thing. Overall it was actually quite a surprisingly delicious meal and I enjoyed eating there. I visited a supermarket later to buy some apples which were ridiculously expensive but on my limited diet and having a scratchy throat I thought it was for the best. The supermarket had hardly any western food and my mind wandered to worrying about how I'd be able to survive 5 months living in Japan. I took the metro onward to Shibuya Harajuku and had a browse in some shops looking for winter gear. I picked up a beanie and some socks and then finally got to go to American Eagle for some new undies and the salesman was so helpful that he sorted me out into buying a new winter coat! It was just what I was looking for and it was 20% off so I just grabbed it and decided to think about the problem of how much luggage I had later.
