“Ha ha very funny Tay..” Victoria turned to look at the girl beside her, for a second her carefully measured facade just broke away in a dumbfounded look as she saw Rachel Amber standing there with a smirk. She quickly recovered, letting out a chuckle, putting down her red solo cup she was just about to fill. “Oh? Then be my guest. Get me a good drink and I’ll tell you whatever you want.” She watched carefully as the other girl filled her cup and took it when it was offered. Victoria swirled the contents around, taking a whiff, as if examining the contents of the spiked punch before having a small taste. “Hmm.. Oh wow. Spiked Hawaiian punch. I’m impressed, Amber. You have my attention.” Victoria smiled and took the other by the hand, leading her to a secluded area. “And what exactly did you want to know?”

it was nothing personal against chase, but the other blonde would always find some way to ruin her night once they interacted with each other. ( or in some cases, even when they didn't ) but tonight, she was determined not to let this happen. fuck it, she needs a break from it all && screw anyone who tells her that she's running away from her responsibilities. can't a girl live a little? so it was in the spirit of not avoiding the prophecy but meeting it head - on in the form of possibly the worst pick - up line she's ever spoken. the spiked drinks available to everyone wasn't nearly enough to get her going, so rachel had drank some already when she was on the way to the party. it was with a sense of delightment that she followed victoria away from her clique. the green eyed girl's hand was soft, firmly gripping her own. clearly she moisturises, rachel muses. can't have dry skin be the downfall of an aspiring starlet. the other's query made her own smile widen, delaying for time subtly as she thought of something casual but not utterly asinine.         " are the rumors about your sexual preferenced true? I mean, I'm certainly not         judging, actually just curious. " well, in her defence, she had very little time to think of a good inquiry. but this one seems more like a good question than a bad one by the second. she took a sip from her own cup as she waits for the question to sink in and have it's desired effect.         " and don't bother BULL - SHITTING your answer, by the way. I've been told that it         doesn't work with me. "

📊 - How does your muse feel about the state of the world? Could it be better? Could it be worse?

Honestly, the thought of the state ofthe world as a whole is a little overwhelming to her. She'snot well informed about most political, and some social, issues thatsociety is suffering from as a whole, but she definitely thinks thereis a lot of a room for it to go either way. For the most part, shesees a lot of bad that happens around her. Herworld is very small in comparison, but it's reflective. All inall, she doesn't really like to think about it, but she isn't asnaive to believe that the world as a whole is solely good or bad.

👩 - What is your muse’s relationship like with their mother? Is it good, bad, or complicated?

It's strained. Sam hasher opinion firmly set on that it could be worse, the samewith her relationship with her father, but it's not good.She doesn't like it, a part of her is growing to not like her,and the distance doesn't help matters at all. She talks more with herhalf-sister who lives with her than to her mother herself, and Samkinda prefers it that way. The holiday phone calls are awkward andtense, like she can feel the judgment from the other side of theline, and there's only so much shit talking about her father she cantake before she starts to feel bad. For the most part, she believesher mother has moved on with a new life after the divorce and shereally isn't part of that up until her mother decides to pick up thephone to talk to her or her brother.

🔗 - What are your muse’s standards for meaningful relationships? How quickly do they form relationships like these?

The main thing is that she needscontact. It doesn't have to be physical, but a nod or a wavein passing in a hallway doesn't define a deep relationship withsomeone for her. She needs to be face-to-face with them more oftenthan not, and a lot of that stems from what was mentioned about hermother, as she's spent a couple years now with her being a name and avoice. She also needs some understanding, and shecertainly tries to make it mutual, but she wouldn't be able to have ameaningful connection with someone if she knows so much about thembut they don't let her reveal things about herself. Other than that,things like shared interests and experiences, extended time together,and so on, are pretty good ways to strengthen that feeling of beingclose to someone, but the top two are very important to her inregards to what her standards are for meaningful relationships. Asfor how quick these grow, it depends on the person. Sometimes it canbe instant, like a week and she considers them a friend, sometimes itcould take up to a year if someone is particularly guarded or shedoesn't feel comfortable opening up to them yet.  

🍟 - How does your muse feel about their body? Would they change it if they could?

While Sam has a hard time reflecting itoutward, she does have a lot of insecurities when it comes to bothher personality and body. She wishes she was taller, shewishes she wasn't so thin, her hair and face are too plain,on and on. She feels that she blends into the background a little tooeasily, and while a part of her thinks that is a blessing sometimes,she does wish that she could be a little more involved. Of course,the shyness that stems from that feeling doesn't help tobetter those thoughts. Though, again, she doesn't really likeexpressing those deeper thoughts to people all that often. She often thinks too deeply on the compliments she gets on her appearance from people, trying to judge of they are genuine or not, it usually ends up hurting her in the end. She'sstill got a ways to go before she grows to be comfortable withherself, if she even gets to that point.

She’s 12 at the time, hair cut in an A-line and face full of makeup she hasn’t quite learned how to use yet. Hands placed gingerly at hips accentuate her tween figure and the designer dress hugging her sides. I look stunning, she thinks, twisting side to side to get as good of a look at herself as possible in the full length mirror. 

Her feet are bare, toes curling at the feeling of the cold marble beneath her as she slides closer to the mirror. “Why hello there~” she coos, fingertips brushing her shoulder as she acts coy for the imaginary person before her. “Oh this little old thing? It’s a Giorgio Armani classic. You like it?” The young woman laughs at an inaudible joke, a hand flitting to her chest. It’s all dramatized; all something she is not but would like to be someday. Cool, rich, confident, the ability to wrap those around her little fingers with a simple gesture. Someday she thinks. Someday.

At least for now she could be happy with falling in love with herself.

A faux laugh bubbles into something more, the corners of her eyes crinkling in mirth. “God though, I really do look good in this. I could just kiss myself, honestly.” She pauses, head tilting at herself in the mirror in consideration. Victoria eventually leans forward, arms folding behind her back and eyes slipping closed as she presses her red stained lips flush to the cool glass of the mirror. It doesn’t last long, rather chaste, but when she pulls back she can’t help the snort that escapes her. Adorning the middle of the mirror is the perfectly shaped, crimson mark of her lips. 

Good thing this lipstick was both smoothly applied and smoothly removed.

A skip in her step, she leaves the bathroom. It was time to actually get ready for the Bean Hip cafe exhibit. As eye catching as the Giorgio Armani dress was, she wondered if Mark Jefferson would appreciate something a little more simple.
